You know how people get seasonal depression? I'm getting, like, reverse seasonal depression. I'm depressed because I live in Minnesota and there's no snow. There hasn't BEEN snow. Just rain, fog, and dead leaves.

Christmas is my favorite time of the year. I love everything about it. And the snow ties it all together with a neat bow. Yeah, sure. It's a pain in the butt when we get A TON of it, and when ice comes into play. But we live up north. It just comes with the territory. It's not only beautiful, but it's something we need environmentally. It's super unsettling that we've only been dusted with snow twice and it didn't stay for more than two days.

It's made it really hard to enjoy the things I love most about December. Lights and decorations don't dazzle me as much, the brown views are so hard on the eyes, hyper awareness of the state of our environment weighs heavy on me, and it's just... Soul crushing. This year has been awful for me for a lot of reasons, and this feels like salt in the wound.

It's going to be a sad, dreary Christmas. And I don't know what to do.

yeahhh hehe last chapter was my beach episode. It was a fun mix of ‘ugh they’re so annoying’ & ‘awwww I lub them’

once again Jee has stolen the show, he’s definitely beach episode material haha.

I’m actually fine with the rain, I have lots of grass and trees so it’s happy for the feeding!! … my biggest concern is the hurricanes already acting up and what that means for our upcoming season ahhh…

I hate rain so much, all of my fucking house has leaks fucking everwhere, I have almost fall down three times, everything is wet, my mom is in the roof trying to fix one of the worst leaks and we don't have enough buckets to put down every leak or enough clothes for the smaller one.

soooo. i tried cooking up a little rivulet design (or just something rivulet adjacent. i dunno.) for clarity's sake i used a base (by Casanovaz on toyhouse!!) for this.

i kinda vibed with the idea of them releasing poison/having rhinopores like a seabunny. i feel like it might be a little much but i sooorta like it :)

excuse me i gotta rant about shit right quick but,

gotta love going to the movies and hoping to enjoy the experience only to end up having to leave to go get a manager and get rain check passes because some idiot refused to tell their kids to sit the fuck down and stop walking in front of everyone and being a distraction because she wanted to enjoy her date...that she was too busy taking selfies of to actually be watching the movie. plus the mom and son duo sitting next to us that kept getting on their phones. truly people continue to be annoying.
