Let's all appreciate Odo (an agender being who chose he/him) and his inclusivity.

I started DS9 the other night. I mean this as genuinely as possible, does it get better after the first season?

Idea for a Doctor Who episode, inspired by a fanfic. Tentaviely dubbed "Blast From The Past."
The main antagonist is a time thief, who finds valuable items that will be destroyed, steals them first, then sells them on a black market.
The Doctor encounters them just after they sell an authentic item the Doctor remembers seeing destroyed in a past adventure, but does not confront the thief immediately. Rather, they listen in as the thief outlines a plan to their team (the best thieves have a team) to steal something incredibly dangerous AND valuable:
The Hand of Omega, recorded as destroyed blowing up Skaro.
The Doctor must now chase them down to Earth in November 1963, where the Seventh Doctor is already unfolding his own plans. But the Doctor can't meet with their past self, because the Blinovitch Limitation Effect would prevent Seven from remembering things, and this Doctor very much does remember them from Seven's point of view.
The episode would be done much like the DS9 episode "Trials and Tribblations," with whichever Doctor the episode would be written for having to sneak around in the background of Remembrance of the Daleks without running into the Seventh Doctor as well as keeping the time thief from stealing the Hand of Omega and keeping Davros from getting it too quickly.
