Ok, so I was on my work trip, and I had the same program twice (Fri night and Sat morning) and had to (of course) reuse supplies, and I'd been thinking for weeks, ok, when I get to the hotel, I need to charge the robots overnight.
Guess what I woke up in a cold sweat at 2 am having forgotten to do?

“It had been less than a week since she’d last seen him—six days to be precise, which was just a handful of hours and minutes. Nothing, considering that she’d barely known him a month. And yet it was as if the space she was in, the whole campus, the entire city was transformed by knowing that he was back.”

DIY Rainbow Spaghetti For Sensory Fun
Rainbow spaghetti is a FUN and terrific sensory activity for kids to work on improving fine motor skills. Making colored spaghetti is a breeze and all you need are common supplies you probably already have! My kids love messy play and doing sensory activities such as Green ‘Grass’ Colored Rice. Rainbow spaghetti takes that experience a step further – and it’s SO much fun! They love digging…

Winter STEM Activities
Winter STEM activities are interactive educational projects that combine scientific, technological, engineering, and mathematical concepts with winter-themed elements, fostering engagement and practical comprehension of these subjects during the colder months. In this article, we've compiled a range of activities suitable for kindergarten, elementary, and middle school students.
STEM education goes beyond mere buzzwords; it serves as a gateway to a world teeming with curiosity and innovation, especially for our young learners. Throughout this exciting journey, children have the chance to explore, experiment, and create while asking countless "why" questions. It's not just about memorizing facts; it's a spark that ignites creativity, sharpens problem-solving skills, and instills a lifelong love for exploration. Think of it as a playground where young minds evolve into budding scientists, engineers, and inventors. Let's embark on this adventure to understand why STEM education is an extraordinary voyage of discovery and explore examples of winter STEM activities!
The Significance of STEM: You've likely come across the term "STEM" frequently, but why is STEM education crucial? STEM education equips individuals with a toolbox of invaluable skills for navigating the world. Through STEM, one can pose profound questions, unravel complex puzzles, and create remarkable inventions. It enables an understanding of how various phenomena work, from robots and computers to celestial bodies. Additionally, it acts as a hidden code that unlocks access to numerous exciting careers!
The Importance of STEM in Early Childhood Education: In the realm of early childhood education, STEM education is akin to planting seeds of curiosity and innovation. It embarks on a journey filled with hands-on experiments, the construction of captivating projects, and a continuous stream of "why" questions. It transcends rote learning, serving as the catalyst for sparking creativity, honing problem-solving skills, and nurturing a passion for exploration. Visualize it as a playground where children transform into young scientists, engineers, and inventors. Early STEM education lays the foundation for future leaders and critical thinkers poised to shape our world.
Exploring STEM Activities within Educational Institutions: STEM activities within educational institutions mirror exciting quests in which students assume the roles of explorers, scientists, and engineers. These immersive experiences foster creativity and collaboration, whether through building robots, conducting captivating science experiments, developing intricate computer programs, or designing impressive structures. Beyond the confines of traditional textbooks, these activities kindle a passion for learning by addressing real-world challenges. STEM transcends the boundaries of mathematics and science; it serves as the secret recipe for nurturing future inventors and explorers with superhero potential. So, let's bid farewell to monotony and enthusiastically dive into the captivating realm of STEM!

It's November 8th, 📐 US National STEAM Day. MGA Entertainment founded this special day in 2015 to inspire educators to teach - and students to study – STEAM fields. The acronym STEAM stands for science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics.
Before STEAM, there was STEM. The STEM acronym was introduced in 2001 by American biologist Judith Ramaley of the National Science Foundation to refer to curriculum and careers centered around the most rapidly growing industries in the global economy. She recognized that it was necessary to prepare our youth and our economy for the future by encouraging students of all ages to develop the skills they'llneed to be successful in the 21st Century.
The integration of STEM education into all levels of school gained more and more traction as American corporations ramped up the pace of their technological innovation to stay competitive, globally.
Additionally, by 2015, we'd learned that to stay competitive, we needed to add another dimension to STEM. The integration of the arts into STEAM learning has given educators the ability to promote creativity and curiosity. By helping our youth develop an artistic, creative mindset, educators are giving them even more tools to help them be successful in problem-solving situations when they graduate and join the workforce.
The success of STEM and STEAM didn't occur in a vacuum, of course. Success begets success. STEAM curriculums are now being taught in Australia, China, France, South Korea, Taiwan, the United Kingdom – and the list is growing. ☮️ Peace… Jamiese of Pixoplanet
