少し前にPCパーツの中でもSSDの価格が安くなっているという話題を取り上げたが、その要因が米国の規制にあるのではないかとする推測があるようだ。原因は中国のNAND専業メーカーであるYMTC。同社は昨年12月、米商務省の産業安全保障局（BIS）のエンティティリスト入りしており、昨年のTECH+の記事では、同社はこの影響で2024年までに3D NAND市場から撤退する可能性もあると報道されていた。 こうした影響から同社が自社のNANDチップの在庫を処分するため、規制対象となっていない国に同社製チップを使った製品が安価に出回るようになっている推測も出ているようだ。なお先の安売りのSSDで話題となったSUNEAST製の製品では、YMTC製のチップが使われていることが多いらしい（ﾎﾞｯｻﾝ（Vo）さんのツイート、価格.comのSUNEAST SE900NVG3-2TBレビュー）。

このiPhoneのストレージとして便利そうな｢Pita Portable SSD｣、MagSafeですしiPhone特化なことは間違いないんですけど、単体のSSDとして見ても… 　・容量は1TB（2万9800円）と2TB（4万9800円）の2モデル 　・USB3.2 Gen2x2（20Gbps）対応 　・読み込み2,000MB/s、書き込み1,800MB/sと高速仕様 と、PCに接続して使っても申し分のないスペックなのがまたGood。 撮影データをPCに取り込むときも爆速ですし、なんならSSD内に置いたままのデータを直接編集できるレベルの転送速度。動画編集だって快適になりますね。 価格は高めですけど、手軽さも効率も爆上がりしそうな予感しかしないので、iPhoneメインのYouTuber、TikToker。みんなこれ買うべきじゃない？

QNAP TVS-1282を購入

今年はipad proの更新をあきらめてNASをTVS-673eからTVS-1282に。QNAPの世代的には TVS-673eより古くcpuがintel第6世代のIntel Core i3-6100。性能的にはTVS-673eはAMD RX-421BDだったので上位ぽいかな。

3.5インチが6ドライブから8ドライブになり、2.5インチが新たに4ドライブで内蔵のM.2は変わらず2枚。

メモリもSODIMMからDIMMとなるが、16GBを2枚余計に積んでいるPCがあったのでそこから拝借して40GB化。

逸般の誤家庭には1台は欲しい性能のNASが完成。

ついでに2.5インチを埋めるためのSSDを購入。

Standard Solar Acquiring 27 MW Portfolio In N.Y., R.I.

Standard Solar Inc. has signed an agreement to acquire 27 MW of distributed generation (DG) solar projects in New York and Rhode Island from Freepoint Solar LLC.

Standard Solar will engineer, build, finance, own and operate all five projects, which are expected to commence construction over the next six to nine months.

The three DG projects in Rhode Island, totaling approximately 13 MW, are part of the state’s Renewable Energy Growth (REG) Program. Rhode Island’s REG Program supports the development of 560 MW of new renewable energy projects in the state between 2015 and 2020 and enables customers to sell their generation output under long-term tariffs at a fixed price.

Similarly, New York State is making solar energy more accessible to homes, businesses and communities through its NY-Sun Program. Both projects purchased in New York, totaling 14 MW, are community solar projects.

“These projects are part of the growing DG revolution in the United States, where solar projects interconnect into smaller voltage lines and feed directly into the local electrical system. Standard Solar is proud to be working with Freepoint Solar to build out this portfolio of DG solar projects, resulting in local power for local use,” comments Harry Benson, director of business development for Standard Solar. “Freepoint Solar and its development partner, SunEast Development LLC, have done an excellent job developing these sites, and now it’s our job is to get these projects over the finish line – constructing, owning and operating them.”

The five ground-mount projects will generate revenue through taxes and local economic development for the states and local governments, as well as produce nearly 115 GWh of electricity – enough to power more than 3,600 homes, says Standard Solar.

Standard Solar, a solar energy company specializing in the development and financing of solar electric systems nationwide, announced it has signed an agreement to acquire 27 MW of distributed generation (DG) solar projects in New York and Rhode Island from Freepoint Solar. Standard Solar will engineer, build, finance, own and operate all five projects which are expected to commence construction over the next six to nine months.
