Saint Yves - “Soldi black”

Esce il secondo brano di Saint Yves dopo ''dresscode''

"Soldi black" è il mio secondo brano. Dopo ''Dresscode'' sentivo l'estrema necessità di toccare tasti più personali e identificativi per cominciare a trasmettere al meglio la visione e il background dal quale rinasce il mio personaggio. Soldi black è un canto al mio paese, ovvero Lauro, e al rapporto amore/odio che vi è nei confronti di esso. E' ciò che nasce quando l'amore e l'appartenenza alla propria culla si scontrano con la sua impossibilità nell'offrire qualcosa di più. A Lauro ho sempre lavorato per sostenere la mia musica, nonostante l'urban in questi contesti sia spesso sottovalutato. Prima o poi ci capiranno anche qui, ma sento la necessità di mettere questo punto sulla mappa; anche se dovessi metterci anni.  Qui ho chi mi supporta, chi mi ha dato possibilità, chi ci ride sopra e chi mi è indifferente. Ma nonostante tutto non posso essere irriconoscente nei confronti di un posto che, nonostante i suoi molti difetti, mi ha cresciuto e formato. ''soldi black'' perché senza gli svariati lavori a nero svolti qui, non avrei mai potuto lavorare sulla musica senza pesare sulle spalle della mia famiglia.

Ivo Perticarà, in arte Saint Yves, è un giovane artista di classe 2000 della provincia di Avellino.

Inizia il suo percorso effettivamente nel 2020, con un piccolo Ep intitolato 'Luce Nera’, pubblicato indipendentemente. La sperimentazione musicale, alla base di tutti i suoi lavori, lo porta  a lavorare ad un secondo progetto diametralmente opposto al primo intitolato ''AfterParty'', sotto la direzione artistica di TMBC (giovane producer classe 2003), da lì in poi diventato producer di fiducia.

Today, May 9, 2023, our #Catholic & #Christian Friends are celebrating the Feast Days of Saint #Christorpher       This saint, portrayed in the Eastern church as a man with the head of a dog, was supposedly descended from a legendary race of giants with human bodies and canine heads. When he converted to Christianity, he was given the name Christ-bearer to show he carried the divinity within. This became the source of the story of how he carried the Christ Child across a raging river in a storm, thus he is the patron of travellers, who often wear St Christopher medals for protection. A French scholar, Saintyves, whose work is cited by McNeill, thought Christopher was a successor of Anubis, Hermes and Hercules. He notes that he has two festivals on May 9th (in the Eastern church) and July 25th (in the Western church) and that these dates correspond to the setting and rising of Sirius, the Dog Star. Saint Yves / Erwan

Puisque le temps est assez raccord je vous emmène aujourd'hui en Bretagne pour la saint Yves, un des saints patrons de la Bretagne. Le brave Yves Hélory de Kermartin vécut au XIIIeme siècle à Minihy, il n'avait pas de chapeau rond mais une belle coupe au bol comme tous moines franciscains qui se respectent ! Il est assez intello et monte à la capitale étudier le droit canon. (Pas que le droit était vraiment bogoss à l'époque il s'agit du droit ecclésiastique, des règles qui régissent la vie religieuse quoi.) Il veut quand même voir un peu du pays et apprendre plus que la religion et part à Orléans étudier le droit romain. Déjà à l'époque à fond dans ses cours il donne beaucoup de son argent aux pauvres (faut dire que c'est un bourgeois à la base donc il n'a pas trop trop besoin de thune).

En bon vrai breton ses études terminées il revient en Bretagne où il est nommé official (aka juge ecclésiastique) et se pose dans le village de son enfance où il vient d'hériter de la maison familiale. Il se mets bien avec l'évêque de son coin, l'évêque de Tréguier qui le nomme prêtre.

Yves devient très vite populaire parce que c'est un gars qui parle bien, qui réfléchit (il a de grandes discussions avec les moines franciscains du coin, d'où l'inspi de sa coupe de cheveux sans doute)qui vit chichement et qui donne de son temps et de son énergie pour défendre les pauvres; yves c'est un peu l'ancêtre de l'avocat commis d'office quoi, sauf qu'il bosse gratis! Il était même un peu too much dans son souhait de défendre les plus faibles; il est allé jusqu'à leur filer sa nourriture, ses fringues et il en a même adopté 4 !

A la fin il en a eu un peu marre et il s'est retiré dans sa maison familiale pour contempler le christ (cad rester posé pendant des heures devant une icône ou un crucifix. Chacun son délire ne jugeons pas). Lorsqu'il est décédé on a ramené ses restes dans la basilique de son diocèse de Tréguier où a lieu tous les ans un pèlerinage qu'on appelle le pardon de saint Yves (c'est comme ça qu'on appelle un pèlerinage organisé à date fixe à lieu fixe à saint fixe en Bretagne. Ils ne font décidément rien comme les autres ceux là).

Sa défense des pauvres a fait de lui le saint patron des avocats et tous les ans le barreau de saint brieuc organise à Tréguier la vieille du pardon un colloque pour débattre d'un sujet de société. De nombreuses asso d'avocats portent d'ailleurs le nom de saint yves genre la saint yves society de Jérusalem, ça a de la gueule quand même !

De même tous les cathos bretons expatriés ont fondé leurs petites églises saint yves partout dans le monde, genre saint-Yves-les-bretons à Rome, ou en espagne, en Allemagne, aux pays bas...

D'ailleurs petite précision pour ne pas fâcher les bretons, le prénom Erwan est la version bretonne du prénom Yves, voilà on n'a oublié personne.

Et on les salue les petits bretons parce que du week-end précédent la saint yves au week-end suivant c'est la fête de la Bretagne (gouel breizh, pour vous qui parlez tous bretons) ou la fest'Yves aka gouel Erwan (vu que Erwan c'est yves en breton, cqfd!)

That’s a bit of a hard one, because I have a hard time placing a favorite really.

But if I were to choose one, it would probably be....... Megaman?

Either way, my hot take is this: 

Megaman 2 is great and all, and really put the series on the map, but the peeps that think that it is objectively the best of the OG megaman games is fucking fooling themselves, not even taking into account the much later games, but even the fucking next game over, Megaman 3, is better than Megaman 2 in pretty much every way. Megaman 3 fucking rules and doesn’t get the love and respect it deserves.
