Apply Visa to USA, Participate in 13NHPSUCG, and get a chance to explore Los Angeles
Tumblr media
What visa means?
A visa is an official stamp placed in your passport that grants you permission to enter or leave a specific country, remain for a specific period of time, etc. I've submitted an application for a visa extension. Entrance permit.
VISA stands for Visitors International Stay Admission in its full form. When visiting another nation, a VISA is regarded as one of the most crucial documents.
Obtaining an immigration "visa" or travelling to California
An entry visa for the United States is an endorsement placed on a foreigner's passport. In California, relatives or employers who reside in the United States typically sponsor the majority of visa holders.
About 185 different visa types are available in the US. Each has different requirements for applications, fees, processing timeframes, and expiration dates.
For foreigners seeking citizenship and/or legal permanent residence, immigrant visas are available. Foreign nationals who want to visit the US temporarily must apply for non-immigrant visas.
In Los Angeles, how do I apply for a visa?
Only inhabitants of the California counties of Imperial, Kern, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Ventura, as well as the States of Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, and Utah may apply for visas at the Consulate General.
Please get in touch with the mission in charge of your region if you don't reside there because every visa application needs supporting documentation that will be verified.
Visa categories
For type D visas, often known as national visas, which are used for immigration and employment purposes, biometric visas will be granted and ten finger scans will be gathered. The applicant for the visa must also provide a biometric photograph.
For transiting through an airport or for brief stays in Germany and other Schengen States (type A or type C visa, sometimes known as a Schengen Visa): Since May 15, 2014, the Visa Information System has required the German embassies in the United States to collect biometric information (fingerprints) for Schengen visas (VIS). Please click the link to learn more about the Visa Information System (VIS).
Application forms online
Applications can only be submitted online through the website of the consulate or embassy. Please complete the application completely and accurately, just as it does on your passport. Please print the completed form, including the annex page with the barcode (only visible at time of printing). The barcode must not be ripped, crumpled, or in any other way damaged when it is turned in. In order to prevent delays in the processing of your application, be sure to send or provide all required documents as specified in the visa criteria.
In case of Emergency, Visa
Only in urgent situations do we accept applications without an appointment. Only genuine emergencies, such as those involving life or death, will be eligible for emergency services. A doctor's note or a death certificate are both acceptable forms of documentation for an emergency.
It is not an emergency if you haven't made plans to get a visa from the Consulate in time. Missing a scheduled flight or other travel plans is not a legitimate justification for an emergency.
How can I apply for a California tourist visa?
California is the most visited state in the US and a very well-liked tourism destination. There are so many places to see and things to do in California, including the popular tourist destinations of Los Angeles and San Francisco.
Hollywood, the Golden Gate Bridge, and other national parks, including Yosemite National Park, are all located in California. In order to explore as much of California as possible in one trip, many tourists choose to take a road trip up the west coast, passing through San Diego along the way.
California is the perfect place for family vacations because it has numerous top theme parks, fantastic beaches, and Disneyland.
Attend the 13NHPSUCG in Los Angeles, California

Attending the 13NHPSUCG2023, you will be exposed to a variety of viewpoints as well as the most recent advancements and innovations in the nursing industry.
Looking for the paperwork needed to obtain a USA visa? During the USA visa interview, what questions were asked? How can I get a USA visa? USA not getting it? Visa Consultation? Need a letter of invitation?

Hello & Welcome!
I’m Michelle De Nicola, with jewelry that I make by hand right here in San Diego. Last year was my first time in the Comic-Con Art Show, and I’m excited to be participating again this year!
Last year, I was fundraising for my favorite charity, Stupid Cancer to support their life-changing summit, CancerCon, by donating half of my Art Show sales.  As a cancer survivor myself, I know just how important it is to find the right support and people who know what it’s like to have/have had cancer.
A big *Thank You* to everyone who supported me last year--including everyone who purchased pieces, the Art Show coordinators, and of course the amazing Art Show volunteers who helped me check in and set up my booth! Virtual hugs for everyone. 🤗
The other half of last year’s Art Show sales helped me to record my first original song 🎵 , We Rise, which was just released in March. Now you can get your very own copy on iTunes and follow me on Spotify, too! (I’d be so honored 💖☺️)
🎵 MichelleDeNicola.hearnow.com (DL+Stream) 🎵 MichelleDeNicola.com/We-Rise (Lyrics)
So the pandemic…when the shutdowns began mid-March, all my gigs got cancelled.
I'd just started selling jewelry as a vendor at the Solana Beach Farmers Market, had just gotten my foot in the door for singing at large events in San Diego (big paid gigs!), my energy finally started coming back with acupuncture sessions…and then it all got cancelled--with CancerCon and Comic-Con cancellations following.😭 (The cancellations had to happen of course. Health must come first.)
I’m not going to lie, though—the past few months have been challenging. My energy level tanked, lower than it’s ever been—which is a lot, since I’ve been dealing with chronic fatigue and chemo brain (brain fog) since my cancer treatment as a kid.
But the thing is, I’m a cancer survivor—I just don’t give up! When I heard the Comic-Con Art Show would still go on, but now digitally—I felt excited for something again, and hopeful, too.☺️
For me, making jewelry started off as a hobby. The first pieces, featuring roses🌹, helped raise money for my music fraternity, Sigma Alpha Iota.
Then last year’s Comic-Con Art Show became my catalyst for all kinds of jewelry designs and themes, always with more to come, since I go wherever the creative muse leads me. ✨
Jewelry sales here will help me get back on my feet and move forward with my music career and life.
I’ve also been looking into new and interesting ways to pay my bills while working from home using a variety of skills—Vocalist, Composer, Voice Over Artist, former Game Show Host & Trivia Host, MC, Jewelry-maker, Visual Artist, Photographer, Photo editor & restorer, Writer, Copy editor, Designer of things in Photoshop….(you, too, can hire me!)😂
This year, I’m not fundraising directly with my Art Show pieces. Stupid Cancer (my cause last year) is still setting up its fundraising page for CancerCon 2021.
However, you can support me and the American Cancer Society by donating to my efforts for our local San Diego Relay For Life event, via my jewelry website or my link below.
I’m part of Team Living, led by my amazing friend Tanya Lamons. It’s a virtual event this year, but funds raised still help to further the mission of the American Cancer Society to create a world with more birthdays. 🎉
My donation link:

My latest endeavor: Now I’m on Patreon, creating content for Patrons (such as stories, jewelry, behind-the-scenes music stuff, etc.), so anyone can subscribe to follow my adventures (and misadventures😆), for  just $1, with more content and levels, too, like Jewelry of the Month Club!✨
Thank you in advance for supporting me and my small business as a musician/jewelry-maker/(and all that stuff I mentioned earlier) creative entrepreneur! 💖😊

Randy Kraft
Randy Stephen Kraft was born on March 19, 1945 in Long Beach, California. Apart from being particularly accident prone, Kraft seems to have had a relatively normal and conventional childhood. His family having moved to Westminster, Orange County, in 1948, Kraft developed into an active and intelligent adolescent, known for holding the conservative views typical of the area in which he was living. He graduated from Westminster High School in 1963, his academic performance putting him in the top 10 of his class, and he went on to study economics at the prestigious Claremont Men’s college.
So far, so good. It was between the ages of 18 and 20, however, that Kraft’s personality seemed to enter a confusing stage. At first he appeared resolutely conservative in his political and social outlook, joining the Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC), and throwing himself into the presidential campaign of right-wing candidate Barry Goldwater.
He was also vocal in his support for U.S. military involvement in Vietnam. Yet in 1964 he changed sides, becoming left wing in political orientation, backed by growing long hair. Furthermore, it was around this time that his sexuality went through significant transformation. By the time he was 18 he had realized that he was homosexual, and there were many campus rumours about his predilection for bondage. He began frequenting gay bars, and in 1966 he was also arrested for having offered himself sex to an undercover vice officer, he was released with a caution.
In 1968 Kraft joined the U.S. Air Force. He was only in service for a year before he was discharged on “medical grounds” in 1969, incidentally the same year that he told his family he was gay. His revelation alienated him from his conservative parents, and from now on Randy Kraft seemed to go off the rails.
Timeline of a Murder
1: December 31, 1975. Twenty-Two-year-old Mark Hall is enjoying a New Year’s Eve party in San Juan Capistrano. At some point during the evening, he meets Randy Kraft, and leaves the party with him. Hall had been drinking alcohol and his body was later found to contain traces of Diazepam and Valium.
2: Kraft and Hall travel out to the Cleveland National Forest, heading to the east end of Santiago Canyon in the Saddleback mountains. This location is about 30 miles (48km) south of San Juan Capistrano.
3: What occurred is largely based upon forensic evidence derived from Hall’s body. It appeared that Hall had been stripped and tied to a tree sapling. He was then sodomized and tortured horribly. Parts of his body were burnt with a cigarette lighter or cut with a sharp knife. His genitals were removed, and stuffed into his rectum. It is also likely that Kraft was forcibly administered more alcohol, and pushed earth and leaves into both Hall’s mouth and anus. He died at the scene of his wounds and strangulation.
4: Hall’s body was discovered on January 3, 1976. A bottle was found at the scene which had Kraft’s fingerprints on it. This was later used by prosecutors to connect Kraft with the murder.
First Victims
From the early 1970s, Kraft’s lifestyle was focused on a combination of frequent sex with various highways and beaches of southern California. Moreover, it was apparent that the manner of killing was becoming increasingly depraved. The first body, of an unknown male, was discovered on February 6, 1973 beside a freeway in Wilmington, Los Angeles, again with one of his socks pushed up his anus. The next body (another unknown male), however, had it’s genitals removed, leading to the possibility that the man simply bled to death from the mutilation, although there were also signs of strangulation. Another victim found shortly afterward had his head thrown on to Long Beach, while his torso, one leg and both arms were found in the next county on Sunset Beach. Clearly California’s gay men were being hunted by someone with monstrous appetites.
Catching a Monster
It is ironic that even as Randy Kraft was slaughtering men on a regular basis throughout California, he was actually in a semi steady with one Jeff Seelig. In 1982 he even went for counselling to try and help their relationship improve. He also had a serious relationship with Jeff Graves, a former classmate. Furthermore, Kraft found steady, respectable employment in 1975, he began working as a computer programer for Pacific Computing Systems. Balanced against this normality, however, were crimes of almost unbelievable brutality. Some serial killers focus on delivering an efficient killing without using consciously designed tortures. Randy Kraft was not one of them. Typical injuries inflicted upon his victims include castration, a variety of objects inserted into the penis or anus (of the latter, some were large as substantial tree branches several feet long), decapitations, burns from a cigarette lighter and bites to genitals and nipples.
In January 1975, a multi county police task force was formed to pursue the serial killer. Because of the nature of the crimes, police and FBI psychologists were brought in to create profiles of the potential killer. Bodies were turning up every few weeks or months, and the pressure was on to find the man responsible. Kraft did in fact briefly pass through police hands in June 1975, after he was arrested for lewd behaviour in Cherry Park. He spent five days in jail before being released, after which he resumed killing where he left off.
Despite the number of bodies, the police were still struggling to get close to the killer. Kraft was not, in fact the only serial killer operating in California during these years. In 1977, for example, Patrick Kearney was arrested and confessed to the murder of 28 young men. Such killers made investigating Kraft’s murders that much more complicated, and his killing spree would continue for another five years. In fact, it could be argued that the sheer volume of his murders made the job of the police that much harder, by producing a vast multiplicity of false leads investigating dead ends.
The ultimate break came on May 14, 1983, when officers of the California Highway Patrol pulled over someone driving erratically on the San Diego freeway. The driver was Randy Kraft and having stepped out of the car and performed badly during a sobriety test, he was arrested for drunk driving. Yet a far more serious offence related to the dead man, 25-year-old Marine Terry Gambrel, who lay in the passenger seat of the car. He had been strangled, but also had near-lethal amounts of drink and drugs in his system. Now treating the suspect with utmost caution, the police searched his car and further found a pack of polaroid photos showing dozens of apparently lifeless men, and also a sheet of paper containing what appeared to be a coded list of men murdered by Kraft. A later search of Kraft’s home produced mass of further forensic evidence, including more photographs of murder victims plus personal effects of many of the dead.
After a lengthy trial, Randy Kraft was convicted of 16 counts of murder on November 29, 1989, and he was sentenced to death. In a curious act of futile bravado, in 1922 Kraft attempted to launch a massive lawsuit against an author who painted his character in a less than favourable light. Not surprisingly, the lawsuit was rejected, and in August 2000 his death sentence was again confirmed by the Supreme Court.

After more than a year of large-scale fairs, festivals and events being a no-go because of the coronavirus pandemic, there’s a light at the end of the tunnel, and it’s actually the sun, in case you’ve forgotten what it looks like.
There are things to go and do this summer all over Southern California, from family favorites like the OC Fair and Pageant of the Masters to music festivals such as Hard Summer and BeachLife. While many of the events happening will be modified, and in many cases with smaller audiences than before the pandemic, there are still ways to get out and celebrate.
There’s one big caveat here: If we learned anything in the last year, it’s that plans can change fast. Be sure to check refund and cancellation policies before plunking down your cryptocurrency. And you will need to stay on top of COVID-19 precautions, which are also a moving target. Your best bet? Checking with the events’ websites and social media pages for the latest updates and pricing. Be advised that tickets for many events are required to be purchased in advance.
And even though events are being scheduled well into the fall, we’re capping our list as events through the end of September for now.
