she said herself in the message that she saw it labeled dubcon and still chose to read knowing she wasn’t comfortable with that and when I apologized and asked how to better warn it she didnt give me an answer lmao, and continued to shade me for writing dubcon/noncon on her account along with her little minion group.

The two weeks after Christmas and New Year were spent in a blissful reunion, locked back in their little flat in Cambridge as they learned all about one another and Sophie tried to work out what she was going to do with the rest of her life now that she was free.

She talked with Cecilia on the phone and she had given Benedict some things that he could do for her when she was having a nightmare.

Since Araminta’s arrest, Sophie’s nightmare’s had started, Cecilia had said it was just her brain processing her trauma and they would start to fade.

But their two weeks of blissful time together came to an end and Benedict had to return to work, Sophie had decided she was going to start looking to go back to University, part time to actually get a degree. In what she wasn’t sure but she no longer had the desire to be a teacher… she was thinking she wanted to help people who had been through similar things.

They were making progress and Benedict loved the little routine they had fallen into and on the Thursday after he had gone back to work, he was woken up by the unmistakable sound of someone throwing up.

He jumped out of bed, realising that Sophie was the only person that could be making that noise and he felt himself panicking.

“Sophie?” He called out as he made his way down the hall to their bathroom where he heard Sophie retching and liquid hitting the water of the toilet bowl and a groan of pain.

“Sophie!!” He yelled again and ran into the bathroom, forgetting he hated the sounds of someone throwing up, couldn’t bare to be around anyone as they were being sick but after just getting Sophie back the thought of her being unwell was enough to make him run into the bathroom as he saw Sophie hunched over the toilet throwing up, she looked red hot and her entire body was shaking as though she was shivering.

Sophie retched again and the smell nearly caused Benedict to throw up in their bath.

“I’m fine” she managed to whine into the toilet as Benedict took a breath to calm himself and his stomach and knelt down next to her and rubbed her back

“Yes my love and i’m the Pope” he said with a sigh as Sophie whimpered and retched into the toilet again, not bringing anything up but burping.

Benedict grabbed some toilet roll and as Sophie leant backwards into him, he felt just how hot she was which considering her face was almost deathly white had him worried.

“I’m… eugh…” Sophie went to say again but she retched and quickly managed to move her head and threw up pure bile into the toilet as she whimpered.

“If you say you’re fine i’m going to have to question your sanity Soph… you’re clearly not… you are sick…” he said softly, breathing through his own mouth so not to be sick himself.

“I’m not” she whimpered “it’s… it’s… blerghhhh”

“If you even try and tell me it’s food poisoning I am going to ring my mum, Kate and Lily and tell them you’re being ridiculous because Soph, you barely touched dinner last night and i ate most of it… and I am not hugging the toilet” he explained “and you are burning up”

“R…really… i… i’m so cold” she whimpered as she rested her head against the toilet seat.

“Oh babe” he said “do you think you’re done throwing up?”

“N…no” she whimpered.

“Okay, do not move a muscle okay…I am going to ring my uncle…” he said absolutely terrified to his bones, she felt screaming hot but she was shivering and freezing. 

Sophie just whimpered and didn’t move and that’s how Benedict knew Sophie wasn’t well. Before they had been forced apart, when ever she did get sick, which was rare, she refused to let him call his Uncle and Aunt who were both doctors, always saying “i’m fine” which he now knew was because of Araminta making her feel bad whenever she got sick so she’d felt the need to power through.

He ran back to their bedroom, having now moved back into the room that he had refused to sleep in for 5 years, and grabbed his phone and prayed that his Uncle wasn’t already at work. 

Nicholas answered after 5 rings and Benedict almost let out a breath of relief “Hey Ben… everything alright?” he asked

“Hey Uncle Nick… erm… not really… I… i’m fine but Soph… she… she’s really not well” Benedict said, sounding panicked

“Okay, take a deep breath for me Ben and tell me what’s up, what’s going on?” Nicholas replied

“She’s currently throwing up what sounds like a week worth of food, she’s red hot to touch but she’s shivering” Benedict explained

Nicholas made noises that showed he was listening as Benedict spoke and sighed “it sounds like the flu combined with exhaustion… I had been sort of expecting it… but somehow i thought it would be earlier… Georgie is at work at the moment so i’ve got the kids but as soon as she’s home, i’ll come over and check her over. But she’s gonna need to bring everything up, and then get her back into bed Ben. Ring your mum, she can make you some of that Chicken soup she swears by which will be nice for Sophie’s stomach…”

“Okay… i can… wait… what do you mean you’ve been expecting this?” Benedict asked as his brain kicked in and realised what his Uncle had said

“Ben, the girl has been worked to the bone for the last 5 years, barely eating and terrified… she’s finally safe, eating regular meals again and she’s stopped… she’s actually stopped and relaxed for the first time in 5 years, her entire body will have gone into shock and her immune system would be shot… so this is probably just the start of a wave… so i’ll come see her and i’ll ask a friend to write her some prescriptions to help her immune system once i’ve seen her as if it’s the flu, as I suspect it is, she’s just gonna have to just ride it out”

“Oh… yeah I guess… Probably explains why i always get sick after a busy spell at work”

“Exactly, Sophie’s relaxing for the first time in 5 years and she’s been around people for the first time in as long, her immune system is going to be in shock”

“Okay. what can I do in the meantime?”

“Ring your mum, get Sophie back in bed and keep her warm but don’t let her over heat… get some water into her. Georgie is due back in an hour i’ll message her and say I need to come here so she won’t stay late at the hospital” Nicholas replied.

Benedict nodded and agreed and quickly called his mum.

Violet went straight into overprotective worried mum mode and vowed to make her soup and drive over later when Colin and Eloise came home so they could watch Greg and Hyacinth and Benedict thanked his mum and made his way back into the bathroom to find Sophie snoring into the toilet.

She had thrown up until she had no more energy and fell asleep with her head in the toilet, her hair thankfully not in the toilet. Trying not to gag at the smell he picked Sophie up carefully so not to jostle her, she felt red hot but she was still shivering and carefully he flushed the toilet, and carried Sophie back into their bed. He felt the bed and could feel she’d obviously been sweating in her sleep and as much as he wanted to change the sheets he knew it was pointless, he couldn’t do that with sophie in his arms and so he just carefully placed her back into the bed and felt a little whimper as he went to let go. 

He pressed a gentle kiss to her temple and he felt her relax and he was able to leave her to go unlock the door, get some cold water in a jug and open the window to their room to let in a little bit of the January air into the room and he called Henry to explain he wouldn’t be coming into the studio as Sophie was sick and he hovered over her like an overprotective mother hen whilst he waited for his Uncle Nicholas.

He knew he was probably right… it was probably just the sheer exhaustion of the last few years catching up with her but it didn’t stop him worrying. In the time they were together before Araminta had so cruelly dragged her away he had never seen Sophie unwell. 

Yes she had the occasional sniffle but she had never been unwell, not like this. The thought of something being more seriously wrong with her would not leave his mind as he watched her tossing and turning, whimpering as she rode out some sort of fever.

He hated seeing her like this, she looked so small in their bed, swaddled in several blankets, her blonde hair plastered to her head, her face pale but dripping with sweat. He knew better than to Google her symptoms, he had done that when he had pains in his chest after Sophie disappeared and that had just been heartache and heartbreak, not a heart attack like Google told him. 

He knew Googling what was wrong with Sophie and not waiting for his Uncle or his Aunt to come was just asking for trouble and would probably cause him to have an actual heart attack.

It was the longest hour of Benedict’s life as he waited for his Uncle, watching Sophie tossing and turning in her sleep, whimpering and coughing.

She started to stir as Benedict’s phone went off to say his Uncle was on his way “Ben?” she croaked, her eyes barely opening as she looked up from their bed.

“Hey beautiful… it’s okay… I’ve got you” he said settling next to her on the bed, a cold compress in his hand which he dabbed on her sweat drenched brow.

“I… i…” she started to say before coughs wracked her entire body and she began retching again, a dry heave having nothing left in her body to throw up. 

“Ohhh my love it’s okay. I know, you’re not well. I’ve rung Uncle Nick, he’s on his way…”

“I don’t like being poorly” Sophie said in a tiny voice that nearly broke his heard.

“I know my darling… I know but it’s okay. I am not going anywhere. I am going to stay right by your side, you’re going to stay in bed and i am going to care for you” Benedict said soothing her hair.

“But… i… you… work” she stammered, her green eyes filling with tears.

“Work can wait. You are more important my darling You are far more important that work and if you are sick, then my place is here, with you…” He said, wiping away the stray tear that fell down her pale cheeks.

“But…”

“Not buts… and before you say anything you are not a burden, you are not causing my trouble. You are my love, my heart… if you are sick… I am here. No matter what that vile woman ever said to you, made you do when you were sick… it will never happen again… if you are sick, I will care for you. Like you did for me when I had that horrible fever a week into our dating, do you remember?” he asked, placing a gentle kiss to her scorching headache.

Sophie sniffled and nodded.

“Good, now Uncle Nick is going to be outside in a second so I am going to go let him in and then he’s going to come take a look at you and we’re going to make you feel better okay my love?” he said softly.

Sophie just sneezed and coughed her assent.

Benedict practically ran through their flat to the door and breathed a huge sigh of relief as he saw Nicholas standing there with his doctor's bag and a concerned look on his face and he nearly started to cry seeing the one person who could help his girlfriend.

“Thank you” he breathed in relief as he ushered his Uncle inside the house.

“I assume she’s still in bed?” Nicholas asked gently as Benedict nodded.

“She’s tried to be sick again but nothing is coming up, she’s just shaking and shivering” 

“Well that sounds like exhaustion and flu, and probably a chest infection. Take me to her and we’ll check on her but I am quite sure it is not serious” Nicholas smiled at his Nephew seeing the worry etched all over the features and wanting to put him at ease.

Benedict smiled weakly at his Uncle and ran back up the stairs where Sophie was hunched over and coughing up, what Benedict assumed was a lung…

“Oh my darling…” he said, running over to her and rubbing her back.

“Oh dear” Nicholas said with a small smile on his face “that bark sounds pretty horrible”

“It’s worse than my bite for sure…” Sophie managed to breathe when she was calm enough to breathe.

Nicholas and Benedict both chuckled at her attempt at humour “Come on then Soph… let’s see what we’re up against shall we?” Nicholas smiled, getting out a thermometer and his stethoscope.

It took Nicholas all of five minutes to know exactly what was wrong with Sophie “Exhaustion and a chest infection coupled with a hellish cold i’m afraid”

“So… what do we do?” Benedict asked as Sophie was clearly fighting to stay awake.

“I’ll get a prescription of antibiotics and steroids made up at work today and drop them off tonight. Bed rest and fluids is all you can do for the next week. If it gets worse or she starts to throw up blood, bring her straight into the hospital, just tell them she’s my patient and I’ll see her straight away okay, or if I am at home, see Georgie. I’ll fill her in when I head home but she’ll be fine Ben, she just needs to sleep and rest… and i mean… REST…” He said, raising a brow at his nephew.

“I know…”

“I am sure you do but she needs 10 days before she’ll be ready to do anything, she’ll be sore and exhausted…  just time okay no hanky panky” Nicholas said with a smirk as Benedict went bright red.

“I… okay” Benedict said knowing how red his face was right now and deciding not to bother trying to lie.

“Good, plain bland food, chicken soup and the likes is what she needs okay, Georgie was going to make some soup but I am assuming your mum will be on it?”

Benedict nodded “she’s gonna drop some off later, she was waiting for El and Col to get back so she could drive up”

“Good, try not to leave her too long if you can avoid it, just incase the cough worsens”

“Will do…”

“And don’t overheat her… too much heat will not help, she’s going to be feverish so just… keep an eye on her temperature. I’ll leave you a spare thermometre, if her temp gets over 40, she needs to come in okay, she’ll been IV antibiotics…” Nicholas said as Sophie gave a light snore and they made their way to the door.

“Will do Uncle Nick, thank you so much for this, i mean it” Benedict said sincerely 

“I know but it’s anything for Family you know that Ben…” Nicholas smiled “now go on, head on back upstairs, i can let myself out and i’ll post the keys through the door for you”

“Thanks” Benedict said and ran back up the stairs to go back to his vigil of Sophie, he would look after her, do everything Nicholas said and more. She was his world and he wasn’t about to let her succumb to a trifling thing as a cold.

She was resting a bit easier and with every breath she took Benedict kept an eye on her as he worked, determined that should anything change he would be on top of it.

Sophie was sick for a full 10 days, the course of antibiotics helped and by the time she was well enough to leave the bed, Benedict was relieved and knew without a shadow of a doubt…

That the words in Sickness and in Health, Until death do we part… would be etched on his soul forever… as even death would not keep them apart, he was sure of it…

During her 10 days in the bed recovering from her illness, Benedict planned out his proposal, he would not lose Sophie, he couldn’t not lose Sophie and he might have promised he would wait but… 2 months… surely that was long enough.

They didn’t have to marry straight away but he had to ask… he had everything else ready… and he had a plan…

Surely she would not say no.

Ram x Krishna was a random duo that came to my mind at 2am. Idk they seemed fun, I mean they both are the most popular avatars of Vishnu and ALWAYS are paired together. Biggest example? "Hare Rama Hare Krishna" thingy. Even the name RamaKrishna ofc. And ofc I have hcs!

When Vishnu finally decided to let all his avatars meet each other. Ram and Krishna ended up having the best bond.

They both were so similar and also "fan favourites". So Vishnu was like fuck it u both are one.

Krishna often tries to teach Ram how to play the flute but Ram literally fails to hold the flute properly.

Ram who is really soft spoken gets annoyed at how hyper active Krishna can be. But he still loves that doofus.

They both have archery contests. Ram wins most of the time.

Krishna has tried several times to make Ram steal butter or annoy the girls bathing in rivers. But Ram being the Maryaada Purushottam he is, always refuses.

They have their own shenanigans where Ram would bring different sweets from his palace to Krishna. And Krishna would make butter for Ram.

Kids can be ruthless. In a time before you really develop a filter, words come and go as they please. Be it the coldest insults a 5-year-old can muster or the weirdest questions on planet earth, things are said without much care. Having said that, kindergarten could be the worst place ever sometimes. At least that seemed to be the truth for the young boy you saw curled into himself across the playground. He sat at the edge of the primary play structure, far away from everyone else running around on the field. Head tucked into his knees; his body growing smaller as he pulled tighter and tighter into his chest. You had barely begun to learn the names or faces of your classmates, but you recognized the small yellow sweater clinging to his frame. Your mind recalled a little boy in your class wearing something similar today; he’d been extremely energetic during introductions.

He must be that boy.

Moving closer, something else in your little brain clicked at the soft shaking of his shoulders.

“Are you okay?”

The boy looked up at you. His eyes were glassy, cheeks red and puffy. He seemed so fragile, on the verge of tears. Meeting your eyes, he quickly wiped at the tear tracks marking his face.

“I-I’m fine.” The small words stuck to his throat.

Looking at his frame, shaking and alone, you decided to sit next to him, “But you’re crying.”

His mouth remained closed but he couldn’t turn to look at you.

“Why are you crying?”

“I-I wanted to go play w-with them, b-but they said I wasn’t allowed to.”

“Oh…well, you can play with me. If you want.”

The boy's soft sniffles silenced as he turned to you. “Huh?”

“Come on!” All of a sudden, his hand was in yours as you pulled him along behind you. Despite initial surprise he held, as you dragged him from game to game, the happy little boy you initially remembered surfaced once again. The two of you ran and jumped and played for what seemed like forever, off in your own little world. But, as recess slowly neared its end, so did your small pocket of joy.

Tired from all of your running, you two sat side by side in the grass.

“Look! Dandelions!” His tiny fingers plucked up a fuzzy, white ball from dirt before puffing out all the air in his lungs. Bunches of white fuzz broke apart, taking flight on their own.

“Whoa! How’d you do that!?”

“You just pick them up and blow on it, see?” He repeated his actions sending another flurry of white into the sky, “My mommy says if you make a wish while blowing, it’ll come true!”

“Really!?”

“Yep! My mommy is never wrong.”

“I wanna try!” You reached forward to the grass, fumbling around with the stem before pulling it out. Following all of his instructions, you take a deep breath before letting it all go. The seeds scatter across your vision and you quickly close your eyes to make your silent wish. When you opened them up, you found the boy watching you intently.

“What did you wish for?”

“I wish that we’ll play together every day and be best friends forever!”

Me: Damn, Aqua Hoshino is a very problematic character, the fact that he decided to manipulate people just for his own benefit is really messed up-

Me: Yeah so anyways Aqua had a fucking child with Akane (on accident because his dumbass forgot what a condom is and he's probably the type of guy who woukd be against abortion) and now the child is literally a mix between him and doomslayer

So yeah here's my oshi no ko OC!

Also for context, the AU I created basically has vampires (the story takes place during an acopolyptic dystopia after a vampiric disease caused a pandemic. The disease is very similar to rabies, the difference is that the infected people usually display higher functioning levels, and instead display traits in the dark triad (psychology-). Soo yeah Aqua's daughter is basically a fucking vampire hunter)

Honestly I thought Aqua naming his daughter Sarina would make sense, since he likely saw Sarina as some younger sister or daughter figure? But honestly, its a cool and neat concept to think about.

Similarly to the symbolism of the twins having stars on their left/right eye to show that they're halves of Ai, I figured it would be cool to have Sarina inherit the color of Aqua's and Akane's eye colors. On another note, giving her a black star on her left eye woukd represent her father's personality, whike her white star on her right eye woukd represent her mother's empathy and caring personality. So that woukd basically make her half of Aqua and Akane lmao.

She's also a lesbian, since there's like no LGBT representation in the show 💀 In fact, her entire revenge plan literally revolves around the death of her girlfriend (well to be fair, it mostly revolves around her hatred towards the entertainment industry but just ignore it-)

Hahahhaha Im talking about my hyeprfoxation on a concerning level, so anyways here's Sarina <3 I'll add more information about her on later posts lmao

Age: 15 (during the time she met her father, who was infected by the disease, I swear this is very important for her plot) 19

Relationship with her father: She isn't even aware that the Aqua Hoshino she met when she was 15 is her father. Even so, she has a burning hatred towards him since he left her orphaned at the age of five

Occupation: private army E-2 vampire hunter

Organization she's apart of: JPEAV (stands for japanese extermination against vampires)

Stats:

Physical strength: 9/10.

She's 6'2 and has been genetically modified to have a strong body. Keep in mind, Sarina is in the future (around 2043 since she was born in 2025) which is why genetic modifications have become more advanced up to this point. Along with body weight training (which she worked on as a preteen-teenage years) and having an ectomorphic body type, she is very physically fit and muscular.

Speed 8/10

Once again, her body was genetically modified to have above average strength, allowing her legs to be very fit and have developed muscules. Along with this, Sarina was also trained with gymnastics during the time she was recruited into the military (which unfortunately was at a very young age, aroung 11. Usually children who are recruited into the military (like being orphaned without the care of a foster system) tend to be trained in combat, shooting, etc,. untik they reach the age of 18). Her knowledge of gymnastics and cardiovascular endurance exercises allowed her to be above average in speed.

Ability to use weapons 8/10

According to her trainers, Sarina was best at combat related roles, instead of roles that require deep strategical thinking and communication. Because of this, Sarina was quickly trained into learning the skills of shooting firearms, ballistic shields, etc,.

Tactical Intellect 8/10

Despite not being academically intelligent (she has dyslexia), Sarina is very witty during combat and stealth related missions. She is highly practical and relies on her logic and common sense, and is above average in terms of fluid intelligence. As a result, she is able to use her skills learned during her training and use them to her advantage. This is mostly evident when she manipulated her opponents by using physical force, tricks, manipulation techniques, etc,.

She's built different and lacks interest in topics that are commonly taught in school. She's on the average to below average range of her academic performance. Her lowest performance subject is mostly language arts. Meanwhile, mathematics is her highest performance level, as she scored on the lower above average scale on tests.

All right I don’t tend to post my thoughts on here ever but I’m annoyed lol (Taylor Swift related post incoming)

I don’t care if you like her or not, to each their own. I’m not looking to try to change anyone’s minds here either (I have many Swiftie and non-Swiftie followers because I post about tons of different fandoms and etc) but if you’re going to make fun of one of my fandoms (and me by extension) I would prefer it would be based in actual facts 🤠

I just saw a TikTok screenshot going around talking about one specific lyric of Maroon and how Taylor was “flaunting her songwriting” by saying “how the blood rushed into my cheeks so scarlet it was maroon” instead of “I blushed”. A couple problems with this - that’s not actually the lyric and that TikTok Swiftie took a random selection of words out of context and decided to be over dramatic about it. (Pretends to be shocked at someone on TikTok getting their info wrong) Also nobody makes fun of TikTok Swifties for this stuff more than the remainder of the Swiftie fandom, ok? We know all about it!!!!

People were saying “you know scarlet and maroon aren’t even similar colors right??? Taylor Swift and her fans are so dumb 💀” Which, fair, out of context that does sound pretty silly. They are clearly completely different shades and something can’t literally turn maroon from being very scarlet.

But the actual lyrics are

“And I chose you/The one I was dancing with in New York/No shoes/Looked up at the sky and it was/The burgundy on my t-shirt when you splashed your wine into me/And how the blood rushed into my cheeks, so scarlet, it was/The mark they saw on my collarbone/The rust that grew between telephones/The lips I used to call home/So scarlet, it was maroon”

And so reading the lyrics, the only thing she is literally calling maroon is the sky. And she is implying that the maroon sky reminds her of other things in her life that were various shades of red. Like, you know, the concept she previously made an entire album about. (Twice, even, counting the re-recording!)

There is a giant aside in the middle of that sentence/thought and she even pauses when she goes “so scarlet it was… maroon” to help show that she’s not saying the scarlet and the maroon are literally the same thing. It is kind of awkward phrasing, especially just reading the lyrics without listening to the song. But hey, it’s a pop song and you have to make the phrasing fit the beat and the melody. And pop music as an art form does a lot of silly things with words that you can’t necessarily get away with in other art forms, which I personally think is part of its charm.

Feitan

- When you guys first, Feitan definitely wasn’t intimidated by your cold exterior. Nothing really unnerves him, and plus he acts the same way, so felt some similarities with you. Feitan then continued to make little conversation with you (since he had to admit you did catch his eye). The more he made that small effort to talk to you, the more Feitan got to see how you quickly you warmed up to him. As you both began to get more comfortable with each other, you started to talk (and joke together) a lot more! Then soon, your average conversations then turned into nonstop teasing!!

- Speaking of teasing, you guys occasionally get into random these teasing battles. You will often start by saying something snarky, or if Feitan gives you some sarcasm. His comebacks to yours are always so very quick and clever, because somehow Feitan always has something to say that just puts you in a corner?? Most of the time, you’re always the one who loses these teasing battles, which makes Feitan immediately smirk after acclaiming his victory.

- Feitan finds your hobby in collecting bones pretty interesting to hear, mainly because it’s something that he would do. Then again, he automatically assumes you mean human bones. One day, Feitan decided to gift you some more bones for your collection. Lets just say he gave you a very good amount, which also made you wonder where he found them.

“Oh wow! What animal did you get these from?” you asked him.

There was then a pause as you saw Feitan turn his head curiously.

“.. Animal?”

- Well after that realization, you and him had a very interesting conversation about trying to specify what your hobby included, that, and how you were trying to learn where Feitan got all those bones from.

- Although he might not say it, Feitan really likes your whole aesthetic. Even if you guys look very different outfit wise, he still thinks you look so cute!! If you ever catch him staring at you, don’t be creeped out by it, that’s just his normal way of appreciating your looks. If you ever call him out about it, Feitan will just nod his head saying it’s nothing (but after some silence, he’ll sneak in some small compliment).

Kurapika

- One thing that really connects you and Kurapika is the importance of both your own cultures. Kurapika still practices his own Kurta customs that are very important to him, which is similar to you! If you ever ask about him about his culture, Kurapika will be glad to share them with you, since talking about them also brings him some sense of closeness and comfort (making him remember his clan). 

- To blow some steam off, you sometimes suggest for Kurapika to paint with you. Even though he might be hesitant at first since he doesn’t paint that often, Kurapika will still agree to do it because would be still spending time with you! 

- While you were already painting something, Kurapika had no idea where to start. He tried to look over to your canvas to get some inspiration or to have an idea on what to do first, but you didn’t let him see because it was a surprise! After looking over to your face though, Kurapika had come up with an idea on what to paint: you! He grabbed his paint brushes, and was determined to make something that would try and impress you (and hopefully make it look like he wasn’t trying to insult you...).

- After a while, you guys were both finally finished! On the count of three, you and Kurapika decided to show each other the finished result, and once you did, the first thing he saw was this beautiful little painting of him that you did!! What you saw: certainly an attempt at him trying to paint you... You saw the look on Kurapika’s face, though, a little shy about what he made, but you assured to him that you thought it was great either way (especially when you can tell that he put effort in it)!!

- Though Kurapika sometimes might be busy, he will almost always try and water the plants you have whenever he see’s them. From growing up in nature his whole life, he knows a thing or two about how to care of plants!! If he notices that the plants are shriveled up, droopy, might be dying, he’ll take initiative to try and give them what they need (water, sunlight, shade, more food, etc.)

Been a while since I posted, but let’s discuss Echo.

Echo, CT-1409

I really feel like discussing my baby so let’s go ;,)

⚠️ Potential TBB spoilers! ⚠️

Echo has come such a long way and he’s my favorite out of the bad batch. I won’t say he’s overlooked, but I feel like he should be looked more into.

TCW:

So in TCW, echo’s personality is a bit bland to me. He’s very similar to every other trooper and loyal as well. And since fives is the more known one, we have all just decided that echo is the shy and nice one. And that’s pretty much it. TCW didn’t exhibit echo’s personality as much as it did with other clones.

Clone cadets

repeats orders and the rest of the dominos were annoyed by it, wants to ensure his squad’s passing & graduating, considered leaving his squad to save himself -not as loyal to them.

Echo a perfectionist, and he’s dealing with failure. He is a bit selfish at first, thinking only of himself, and only now learning now to appreciate his squad. Brothers over everything.

Rookies

From what we see - echo’s responsible, the eyes of the squad, a curious loyal shiny, just wanting to do his job and protect his home, Kamino, as a loyal trooper of the republic

He just lost more than half of his squad all at once. Him and Fives are the only remaining dominos

Now in the 501st

ARC troopers

Fives and echo, now on their own. Both loyal, showing soft sides to 99, and fighting together to protect Kamino. At the end, promoted ARC troopers.

ARC Troopers (deleted scene)-

I don’t know If it’s canon since it’s a deleted scene but:

We see Fives trying to explore his personality. Not echo, just fives.

Fives is telling a joke, and echo straight up tells him “yeah you’re not funny, funny was cutup’s thing” sarcastically and annoyed, and actually giving us first glance at despesso echo. Later on we see fives and echo “ask” when they’ll become arc. Love how a deleted scene shows so much decelopmet.

again, his personality there was a bit bland. We only Saw fives making a comment and giving us more about his personality “I don’t wanna end up as a wall decoration” (well echo did end up as a wall deco 😀👍🏻), and we don’t really see echo doing anything different until his sacrifice.

Once again, echo is being a Loyal soldier of the republic.

After being captured and held hostage in a small chamber, controlled by the separatists for over 2 years

The Bad Batch arc - season 7

Echo has been tortured in that chamber. The moment they get echo out, he was making a sarcastic joke about a headache and smiling at Rex. making a sarcastic comment. The smile. That’s the first thing he does.

WE FINALLY SEE A GLIMPSE OF THE REAL ECHO. He was so positive after the shit he’s been through?? Wow king. 👑

The moment he’s out of that chamber, he’s being sarcastic, and smiling. He’s enjoying fighting again with Rex and Anakin, like old times. He really is. But when they get back to the base, he realize they don’t fully trust him, because after all how could they? He was with the separatists. Echo, who was always known as a LOYAL soldier, now has to prove his loyalty. And so he does. However, he realizes he is different, he knows it won’t be the same as old times. But with the bad batch? He knows they will accept him, and that he can do better as well fit in better with them.

And so he joins them.

The Bad Batch:

We know it’s been half a year from when Echo joins them, to the first episode.

First episode he seemed SOOOO DONE with them 💀🤚🏻 like fr- he facepalmed so much. Cafeteria scene he seemed so done💀 but then his PTSD at the infirmary. He’s been through so much and no one really understands him, but omega does? And she shows him that she does, and opens his eyes. There’s someone who cares about his well being. And without even knowing omega he just- “TOUCH HER AND YOURE A DEAD MAN”. He would die for this kid. No more sarcastic echo he’s not playing around.

Second episode he heard of REX, and he’s sooo surprised?? And yet relieved. All he probably thinks about since then is Rex. Then back to being despresso echo, and being done with TBB’s shit

but with omega he becomes happier. Not by a lot, but we actually see him smile and get better every episode, holding omega’s hand, being soft and as the show goes he seems less angry. He connects with them. Having to take care of a child also might remind him of ahsoka in the 501st :)

But then the episode where he’s being sold, “I’m worth more than 2000 Credits🙄🤚🏻” and being so sure of himself just made me so happy. “You got me for a bargain” and snrkdlwke HE WAS SO SOFT WITH OMEEGAH

AND TODAY’S EPISODEEEEE. It starts with the arc trooper trying to teach the baby how to shoot 🥺 so wholesome. He became such a mom.

And for the echo joke: “I’m echo” YES BABE, YOU’RE ECHO. STRAIGHT UP YES KING. I can see his BIG SMILE under his helmet. SHOW EM ECHO 🙌🏻🙌🏻
