The Sentinels, an unbelievably ancient technology left by The Ancients an alien race believed long extinct, that opens stable wormholes for interstellar travel at superlight speed.

At rest state Sentinels form one seamless monolithical structure which separate upon receiving a coded mathematical command, into four equal parts, tearing space-time open during their stately progress.
