You said in your Dr. Scraptrap AU that his first living creation was Plushtrap- are Plushtrap and Dr. Scraptrap still in animatronic suits? Or are they instead more-so organic?

Also, what is Dr. Scraptrap's backstory? Is it the same as William's, or is he a completely different person than the original?

Okay, so, they are just animatronic suits. They aren’t regular rabbits or anything—and that goes for most other animatronics that appear, such as Spring Bonnie.

They’re animatronics... but are at least a little different? Imagine Spring Bonnie. They’d actually be pretty fluffy/soft, and would happen to have actual rabbit tendencies—but is still an animatronic, etc.

The same goes for Dr. Scraptrap and, again, most of the others. Minus Scrap Baby (who is something that he’s making), when it comes to the more human animatronics—Ballora, for example, they’d actually be human.

Plushtrap is mostly like an actual living animatronic that Dr. Scraptrap actually happened to make—following the same rules. Though, there are parts of them that are just more of actual... plush and similar things.

I was rambling a bit with that one—I’ll move on. Point is: Not real animal that they’re based on, still animatronics—except for the more human ones.

The next bit—Dr. Scraptrap’s whole thing is just sort of similar to regular William’s, but there’s still several differences here and then, considering the AU.

He still worked with Henry—who is still just a human here in the AU. Except, while in canon, the two of them did the whole pizzeria thing, here, they worked together on something completely different.

By the time he actually met Henry, Dr. Scraptrap had already been doing a bunch of stuff for about 30 years at that point.

He and Henry worked together for about five years—during the fourth year, he still did kill Charlie, as well as Cassidy (though the others are still alive). Henry only discovered that it was Scraptrap who did it in the fifth year.

Dr. Scraptrap has always been an animatronic here. He was never a human, so there’s no remains in him—he was never really William here. He’s just Scraptrap.

Though, he still uses the name Afton for a couple of purposes every now and then.

And, before the present time of the AU, there’s still three more major events that I want to mention—even if I’ve done it before.

Ten Years Prior: Spring Bonnie becomes his assistant—although reluctantly. Spring Bonnie happened to be a very good scientist, and that was why he wanted them.

Three Years Prior: Finally created his very first living creation—Plushtrap.

Four Months Prior: Went and adopted Elizabeth (she’s still human).

Another bit that I mentioned, but he does care for Plushtrap and Elizabeth. He loves his kids :)

Hmmmmm. I've had fnaf brain worms for a while now, so I'm gonna do that, and I'll try to cover as many of the animatronics as possible, minus the different skin versions that pop up for different events/DLCs/whatever

1 = fuck THAT, nuh uh, that's the stuff of nightmares

I have so many thoughts about Cinder-Scraps/Scraperella play rn. But I’ll start with the other characters that I remember vividly casting for it. ..And a few extra things I thought of while writing this.

The Stepmother and the Stepsisters were/(are?) going to be Funtime Chica, Happy Frog, and Rockstar Chica respectively.

Lefty had/has a double-role of The Duke and The Fairy Godmother (God”father”, in this case, as nobody’s aware Charlie is in that animatronic).

Scrap Baby and the rest were/are essentially the ensemble.. Except Molten Freddy. He’s the assistant technican to the Scare and Sketch Guard (whose first name I might actually drop soon).

A specially-made Ballora animatronic was planned to be Princess Charming. Unfortunately, she never made it to the FNAF 6 location for obvious reasons. I wouldn’t be surprised if she was reworked into Glamrock Ballora down the line.

I was going to suggest Henry or Michael as the hypothetical narrator, but then I remembered Mr. Hippo exists. So unless the S&S Guard is sick of his rambles like nearly everyone, I think he’ll do just fine.

(I keep dancing between past and present tense because—canonically speaking— the play never came to fruition in either S&S’ timeline or the normal timeline. However, that doesn’t mean I can’t pull an InkPotts and show you how it could have looked.)

Like Baby, she was modeled after someone in William’s family: specifically his wife (Michelle Afton (( my hc name for Mrs. Afton))). 

Her passion for ballet and singing served as inspiration for Ballora’s function and voice.

Michelle was the only Afton to pass away peacefully, though her soul possessed Ballora after she made one final request to see her.

Despite this, her soul became filled with anger and despair upon realizing Elizabeth was possessing Baby (Will lied and claimed she went missing when it was his own machines that killed yet another one of their children).

Michelle’s anger is the reason Ballora can do unnatural things she wasn’t build to do like crawl, emit screeches, and force her eyes/faceplates open.

Like Freddy she has her own music box, though if you were to open it, there’s a tiny Minireena spinning on a piece of glass.

The Minireenas are her assistants who try encouraging kids to dance as well (despite how scary they seem). She’s grown to care for them more, but Baby doesn’t mind it.

Is the most motherly out of the Funtimes and serves as the voice of reason.

She only lets the Minreenas and Bonnet call her “mom”, though.

Is able to spin either herself or just her tutu at will.

UCN

In UCN, she still treats the Funtimes the same.

Though she’s kinda shocked to see Ennard and their remnants: Molten Freddy and Scrap Baby.

Scrap acts like Elizabeth if she lived to reach her “rebellious teenage years”, so she’s defiant of Ballora’s and Scraptrap’s orders of when to attack William.

Speaking of whom, Ballora still has a grudge against him for what happened to their children, so she strikes from the darkness and taunts him with her music.

She does pity him, though, after seeing how many times he got killed by other animatronics before her. So sometimes she takes her time when stalking him in either hallway.

After learning who Scraptrap and Springtrap are, she became wary of them--at first--but overtime she felt sympathy for Springtrap (whose personality was more Springbonnie’s than William’s)

do any of the other fnaf characters exist in the dr springtrap au? like, is henry there, perhaps as another scientist? and what about ballora and the fnaf 1 and 2 animatronics?

i'm thinking about the dr springtrap au and what it would be like as a tv show, coz i could imagine there being a really cute episode where dr springtrap meets ballora and finds out she’s really good at sciency stuff too, so they’d become fast friends and make a really cool project together. and maybe also an episode where there’s a science fair, so dr springtrap competes with a bunch of his science buddies to win the competition for best science exhibit :D

Okay, so, it mainly focuses on: himself, Elizabeth and Plushtrap as his own, and Spring Bonnie as his assistant, but yes, almost everyone else exists.

Henry is there, and he’s actively going after Dr. Scraptrap—he still lost Charlie years ago to the rabbit.

The Funtimes do exist, but only within a show that Dr. Scraptrap and Henry made when they were still friends and working together years ago.

Circus Baby is within that show—and unknowingly to Henry and the others, Dr. Scraptrap based her design a little bit off of Scrap Baby, another secret project.

Mrs. Afton/Clara/etc still exists, though she’s more of a human. She and Dr. Scraptrap used to date for a while, before eventually breaking up some years ago.

Although, by the time of the present, the two do meet again, and Dr. Scraptrap still loves her, and wants to get back with her. He’s terrible at flirting.

That other bit is always fun to imagine—what else could you imagine/see with it being a TV show? 👀
