Hannibal is holding Seabroc’s hand, he stares at the Bellswood’s street lights, including the traffic light that is flashing red.

“Hannibal, I can walks on my own.” Said Seabroc. Hannibal looks at Seabroc, keeping the monster close. “Seabroc, I told you many time. You need to be under my supervision. You never known what is going to happen if you are all alone.”

Seabroc grunts. Man, he is treating him the same way his (decreased) father is. Seabroc then turns his head to see children at the outdoor basketball court having fun and chilling as they dribble basketball. He wants to joins in on the fun.

“Cute kid,”

Hannibal turns to see an elderly woman seeing Seabroc. Since he is a monster, he have to wears an ID Mask, given to him by The Chief, to changes his appears, making him looks completely human. He is wearing the Big City Icicles Hockey Jersey black, white track pant, and blue and white sneakers with a matching bucket hat on his head.

“Don’t let looks deceive you. He’s a little demon.”

“An adorable demon,” the elderly woman, grabbing his cheek and pulling its.

“HEY!” Said Seabroc then he inveighed. “I am not a demon and I am not little! I am thirteen! I am still growing! Get off me!” He swung his hand to have the elderly woman’s hand away from him. She gasped.

“Seabroc! I’m so sorry,” Hannibal apologized. “He’s having a rough day adjusting to his new surroundings. It’s his once-in-a-month quality time. Seabroc, please says you’re sorry. What you did is rude and disrespectful.”

“I bet you did the same thing when you were a kid.” Seabroc muttered under his breath.

“What was that?” Hannibal asked.

Seabroc is quiet. Suddenly a bee landed on Seabroc, he see curiously. The bee sting him, Seabroc cried in pain. Hannibal’s eyes are widen. Hannibal grimaced, and then his expression changes into a shock of surprise and horror when he see Seabroc sprouting bee wings. The elderly woman see this too. Hannibal picks Seabroc up and creates a portal to escape and entering Camp Synonymous Island. Hannibal groans in frustration as he watch Seabroc turning himself into a bee. How could this happens? Bees are suppose to be nearly extinct. The only bees he know are the ones…. From this island’s Honey Mountain.

“Duchess……” grumbled Hannibal. Suddenly he felt a chill behind his neck. Suddenly, he see a blurry figure rushing in, grabbing Seabroc. “Eep!”

The pre-teenage monster see the angelic and ghostly bee witch examining him. She removes the ID mask from his face, revealing his beastly bee form he acquired from the bee sting. Just then Hannibal hears footsteps running onto the ground coming to where Duchess is.

“Duchess, there you are…. Huh? That’s a big bee.”

“NO! Seabroc! Duchess!”

“Beeeeeeeeeee!” Said Duchess, running to take him away.

“Help! Help!” Said Seabroc.

Hannibal chased after Duchess on all four, Rebecca running with Hannibal. Hannibal turns to see Rebecca, wanting to know what is going on.

“Rebecca! Why is Duchess acting likes this?”

“I have no idea. Queen Bee instinct perhaps?”

“Of course….” He growled. “She is looking for her subjects, aka bees to controls and listen.”

“Why is there a bee with her?”

“That bee have a name and his name is Seabroc,” said Hannibal. “He was stung by one.”

Rebecca is in shock. “Bee stings don’t turns anyone into a bees!” Rebecca said in disbelief. “…..Unless if it were the sting came from a mutant bee or a radioactive bee.”

“Haha, very funny. Well he is different.” Said Hannibal.

Duchess pull out her tiara and it transform into a magical staff. She waves her magic staff around producing a honey yellow coloured magic. Duchess proceed to launch the magic at her colleagues, producing into honey and entrapping them.

“Ack!”

“God damn it!”

Duchess whistle and a swarm of bees fly toward Duchess, picking her and Seabroc up, taking them away to The Honey Mountain. Hannibal and Rebecca are struggling to be free from the honey trap. Rebecca pull hard as she can, while removing the honey off of her.

“I just washed my furs…..” said Hannibal.

“Hopefully Duchess will come to her senses,” said Rebecca.

“……..Probably not.”

“Hey don’t be so negative,” Said Rebecca. “I am no monster expert but maybe her feral Queen Bee behaviour happens once a year. Or she wants a witch apprentice for her newly built coven deep down, declaring war on the other Bee Witch Coven…..” Rebecca continues speaking by coming up with predictions. “Honestly, we don’t know that. Bee Witches are known to be secretive….. So informations are limited,” said Rebecca. “I don’t know how we’ll be able to get to her to opens up….. She needed friends too.”

“Less talking, more actions. Don’t know what Duchess gotta do to him.”

Seabroc is surrounded by bees, honey, and honeycombs. Bees are buzzing everywhere.

“This is the worst day ever!”

Stella Junior open the door open with a kick, Hannibal whose is talking to the young bee wizard, Seabroc, now just have his conversation interrupted.

“Ah Solaria, to what I owns the pleasure in your unauthorized visit?” He asked, fed up by her behaviours. His voice is heavy and overbearing.

“I need a place to crash, after I went on a date,” she answered with a tsk. “What else Wolf?”

Being cold towards Hannibal’s lukewarm voice.

“What?” Said Hannibal, his voice more heavily than ever. “You entered my office just to tell me this? I ain’t your dad.”. His nostrils flared upward and his pupils are sharpening. He narrow them as he glance at “Stella Junior”. “At least contact Camp Synonymous when you are coming if you made an appointment with us.”

“You are to Seabroc!” Stella Junior, or Esme actually scoffed, looking at the Bee Witch Monster. She just had a long day. Stella Junior doesn’t want to go back to the home of her godmother. She is busy taking care of Enya and her 8 months old sons, Blaze, Henry, and Hudson. The Bee Witch Monster buzzed in sadness.

“Hey! Watch your mouth. He’s Duchess’ little coven brother. We’re just working together to help him out… He’s an inexperienced kid after all.”

She let out a hmph and sit down in his chair. She glares at the lummie, Elizabeth in her lumen form, sitting on a chair and holding a hotdog.

“Why is Hotdog here as well?” Said Esme. “She should be with her family.”

“She…She’s here… Because,” Hannibal is trying to find the right sentence to say, while looking at her. “Her father and his wife are fighting again and kicked her out. Her grandparents will be coming to pick her up and take her to lives with them in Lumenia.” Hannibal explained. “This is the best option.”

“Finally,” said Esme. “Gold and Marie are not good parents to her. I wish that the grandparents take their grandkids, they are a bad influence to them too, and the mansion is now packed, Keith cannot cramps any more monsters any longer. He says that all of the lummies will be send to The Center and live there for their entire life, except for Fifi and Emo Junior due to a magical circumstance from two princes.”

Hannibal listened to everything Esme/Stella Junior just said. It is good that there will be holding cells for them.

“It is for the best. They are not guests on this planet, they are an invasive species of sort after all. Why else that Lumenia banished them, there is either a ban or a probation of Staryummies in all of the safe zones? Us, the Bishops are still developing an effective cure in your were-staryummy condition and for other victims, Kai is given a harsher punishment for his crimes, and The Cleansers hunts them down if they were not under The Guardians’ protection?” Said Hannibal, giving her the harsh truth to Esme. “I know that you decided to stay in Paris to take care of the baby lummies and teach them what their parents couldn’t, alas an unfortunate incident caused you to stripped away of your duty.”

Esme’s face darken, she hate it when Hannibal reminded her of that thanks to her sister and brother, they ruined everything but…... “I know. That is why Kai is training the lummies in my stead. I do not blamed him for ruining my life anymore last year. I have seen Kai and the lummies already have enough haters and are still being callously treated, and it is still ongoing. He still blamed himself for giving our kingdom a bad name on Earth to this day.” Esme said harshly. “So don’t reminds me!” She continued by snapping at him.

Hannibal is silence.

“Just take me to the dormitory right now.” Esme demanded. “I need my beauty sleep!”

Esme take off her Moon Ring from her right hand, morphing it into a Moon Stick with a large blade of lunar energy. She points at Hannibal.

“No, I don’t have the authority to do so. You should know that.” Said Hannibal. “And I don’t like your attitude, Esme. Do not thinks about doing it by force. There are camera everywhere in the island, monitoring your every move you make. Droids that can detect a threat and eliminate them. There are also witnesses too.”

Seabroc and Elizabeth are tense now because of Esme. Esme put away her weapon, and she let out a tsk out of annoyance because he is right. “Any suggestion of a place to crash then?”

Hannibal nod and pull out his wallet from his pant pocket, pulling the Doom Flower Hotel business card. “Here. Just book it in-person or through a phone call.”

Esme accepted the card. “Thanks you.” She said, then she leave the building. Hannibal let out a sigh. “Couldn’t give me an apology, huh? Who raised her?” He complained.

21. Why do they get up in the morning? 

What choice does he have? 😑

He wish he can sleep all day. But can’t due to raising and taking care of Velvet (later on Elizabeth, Viola, Elizabeth’s half siblings a two years later and then five years later other staryummies), trying to operate Seabroc’s late father’s butcher business at home with someone, volunteering at either at Ultimos’ school or nonprofit organization that is responsible for food security and food delivery, checking up on the werewolf Legerdomainians in the Spiderbite Territory and Blue Diamond’s Court in @cooltmoney95’s Anty Diamond’s side, checking up on Hibonite, Grise, and their radioactive gem companions, and checking up on Seabroc. Most importantly be a civil servant/mercenary to the high members/political figures of the supernatural community and The Plumbers and working at the summer camp to become superheroes (or any occupation (for example a lawyer, a law enforcer, or a politician) they wants to become after entering Camp Synonymous, but mostly to become a superhero).
