@countthelions (tumblr ate this when I tried to save my answer as a draft, so we improvise 🙃)
This one? :D
This whole stream was delightful. What a way to return 🤗
Tango was so happy energetic.
And from Tango calling Etho's storage system cute and Etho in gamechat going "CUTE?!" (00:41:07). To the razzing (and laughing) over shops (00:49:00 and 01:03:49). Etho taking Tango's head twice, and it all being so playful (00:58:11). Etho using Tango's catchphrases 🥹🥹🥹 It gets me every time! "porkchop power" "flee with extra flee!" And the way he said it was the cutest, and Tango's giggle about it too (01:00:59). Etho offering to give the tour Tango wanted. More mail talk and laughing guilt and planning and razzing and teaching Etho to do the stamps. Tango complimenting the path (and that Etho showed it to him when he first came back when Etho came to say hi) (01:15:41). They still plan on doing their sand-collection-off (01:35:06).
And of course the whole TNTificating with Etho's new "boom boom tech" (01:39:43--02:15:17) was just…the most fun. They are having the most fun together...it's an absolute joy. (And it's also them collaborating on how to figure out a redstone thing together which is just so satisfying.) Just...TOO MANY (!!!) (so many) fun moments in that whole TNT section that I can't even start on highlighting them all 😭 I'd need another mammoth paragraph...
Honestly??? Still smiling. Great great great stream 🥹
Timestamps are for YouTube not Twitch because Tango was so fast on getting the VOD up lmao
Give me the guilt. Give me the blame. Give me the part that stings the most. Okay? Let me hold on to it for a little while. And when you're feeling a little stronger, you can have it all back.
Mygod that ending was magical and phenomenal and incredibly cathartic. In times like these, it's so great that we get to have media that showcases and highlights how drag is joyful! dnd is joyful! fringe communities are joyful!! Super stoked how fans from each side have been introduced to new communities under dimension 20 - like this truly was mine and a lot of people's avenger's endgame, and I'm so glad people got to go through the same journey the queens did, which was finding sisterhood in trying times.
I am now convinced RVB is, in a nutshell at its core, two twenty year long dimetric slowburn romance tropes comprised of viewing each from the lens of 'I'd die for you/I'd live for you' while accounting for the repercussions of those choices on the lives of those around them while also examining at the same time the 'Inability to let go/ever start' and how it ultimately locks your mind in a perpetual state of 'What if?' without taking the risk of DOING all by asking the simple fucking question
ive been sort of randomly rewatching Dr Who episodes based on my mood since the specials aired and man.. the Jack Harkness & Martha team ups were the fucking best ! just these two being heroes and bitching about The Doctor to his face while simultaneously being in love with him. tremendous fun really.
I sometimes see takes of mean girl Steve making some snide remark to Eddie and that leading to tension between them, but while I do think the possibility of Steve going too far is definitely on the table, I just...don’t really see that leading to fights at the point where Steve and Eddie are friends the way they are by the end of season 4? Besides the fact that Eddie seems to like snarky Steve and encourage it when it’s directed at other characters--because Eddie is a little shit too--the big thing that I think would prevent it from becoming a problem is that almost every time we’ve seen Steve cross a line on screen, he apologizes, if not immediately in the moment (usually) within, like...the next 48 hours.
If anything, I think a “problem” that might crop up once Steve and Eddie’s relationship becomes romantic is Steve apologizing too much, sometimes when he isn’t even sure what he’s done wrong. And that might lead to the usual conflict--that Steve doesn’t recognize the problem of what he did in the first place--but I also think Steve might sometimes apologize because he thinks he’s supposed to, even when he actually hasn’t done anything at all and Eddie is just...irritated about something else altogether.
(Which, for some sweet hurt/comfort, I do think would lead to a conversation between Eddie and Steve about how Steve isn’t responsible for apologizing, taking the blame, or trying to “fix” things just because Eddie is in a bad mood or something.)
it's weird that family guy has been on air for more than a decade longer than bob's burgers has and the simpsons was airing in the EIGHTIES. like i would be happy if bob's burgers got a few more seasons for sure but i cant imagine the show still airing ten or twenty years from now?? in my head it's already one of the older animated shows on tv (which im sure it is) but i don't really want it to go on forever!!!
i can't even imagine what the show would be like if new episodes were still being produced 10 or 15 years from now. family guy's decline in quality definitely makes a lot of sense in that regard Bcuz there's so many episodes. every story and characterization moment has already been done (not to mention the simpsons which almost feels like it isnt ALLOWED to end by network orders)
