Found this post while trying to figure out how Andy Bass functioned as a vertical mermaid and it looks like three of the ships in this post are in the tournament.

Makes me wonder if any of the other ships are eligible.

Hi, anon! Realistically, such a scenario is highly unlikely in canon. Manga!Sebas is an unremittingly cold, manipulative, and self-serving bastard whose primary objective is cultivating his next meal…even if he was capable of romantic love, I doubt the outcome would be happy (or healthy) if he got together with either of the ladies.

But in fanon, on the other hand? Secret romance is a d e l i c i o u s trope. The demon’s sparring matches and acerbic banter with Grelle are merely a front to conceal the true nature of their relationship. Miss Sutcliff is a consummate actress, and doesn’t wear her heart on her sleeve as openly as some might assume. She’s shared many a midnight tryst among the white roses with the Phantomhive butler while his brat is sound asleep. And death always stalks the path of the Queen’s Watchdog. If Grelle just so happens to be assigned to reap the souls of the unfortunate louts slain by her darling, how can the demon resist stealing a few moments with such a ravishing companion? All the while, they bide their time until Sebastian’s contract reaches completion, and he is free to let the whole world know of his love for the goddess he worships.

Of course, forbidden love fits perfectly with Sebamey, as well. Merely colleagues…and yet so much more. Forced to maintain an air of strict professionalism, but completely unable to resist the longing glances, the brush of gloved hands lingering a second too long against Mey Rin’s, the warmth with which the butler addresses her. But in a sprawling manor like the Phantomhive estate, there are plenty of discreet hiding places where they find solace in each other’s arms when their passion runs unchecked. On peaceful nights when no enemies lurk at their doorstep, Sebastian cautiously treads the silent hallways to his paramour’s room, where Mey Rin waits for him, a candle lit at her bedside in anticipation of his arrival. Perhaps the day comes when Sebastian’s love for Mey Rin trumps both his demonic hunger and butler’s aesthetic…and, as Arthur once suspected, he defies his own nature to break contract and elope with the maid who holds eternal claim upon his heart.

I got carried away reading Andy Bass and I can confirm Andy and Sebasstian are a good couple. Also, Susan and Achelous are a better couple than I gave them credit for, I'm glad he gets to be a merman again.
