Hello, thank you for the help, but I still having troble, it keeps saing that the POP setting are wrong
the emal and password are correct, I've checked, and for the user ID I've tried both the email adress (with and without the @hotmail.com) and what shows up in front of "From:" when I send an email to someone.
Any idea on what I might be doing wrong?
It looks correct, although I did notice that on my personal email accounts that I have set up (which I did not show), the "Use SSL/TLS Connection (Check Port)" box is ticked.
Checking back on that page about the POP information for hotmail, I do see now that they say "Choose the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) option for ... POP3". So, that may mean that this option needs to be ticked.
