Und ich hab gedacht , mit dem Jetlag sind wir durch.

Heiko wälzt sich hin und her und lese von 1.00 bis 3.00 Uhr ein Buch über die Generation Z. Es regt mich so auf , dass ich nicht vor 5.00 Uhr in den Schlaf komme.

Natürlich bin ich dann wenig begeistert,  als Franzi 6.30 Uhr beginnt, ihren Rucksack zu packen.

Zum Frühstück, dann Backpack schnüren und weiter zum Flughafen.

Franzi hat ein Grabtaxi bestellt . Für 1,80 € fährt er uns zum Flughafen.

3 Stunden sollten wir eher am Flughafen sein.Ich finde das schon übertrieben. Das dies allerdings berechtigt ist, merken wir bald. Schlangen beim Einchecken, beim Securitycheck und der Passkontrolle. 

Unser Flug geht um 12.45 Uhr. In der Warteschlange lese ich mir die Bordkarte durch.

Nanu , da steht doch eine andere Flugnummer und Flugzeit ! Trotz dreimaliger Wiederholung der Flugzeit am Schalter hat sie uns eine frühere Maschine gebucht.

Also bleibt nicht wirklich viel Zeit.

Schnell noch nen Kaffee bzw. Smoothie auf die Hand und schon geht es weiter zum Gate, welches auch schon geöffnet hat. 

3 Stunden vorher am Flughafen, etwas mehr als 3 Stunden fliegen,  dann 1 Stunde Aufenthalt in Kuala Lumpur, danach wieder 1 Stunde fliegen nach Medan und zum Schluss 3,5 Stunden Auto fahren, bis wir in unserem Gästehaus ankommen werden.

Ist schon sportlich.

Wir sind schon kaputt nach dem Flug. Draußen wird schon unser Fahrer warten. Allerdings müssen wir noch einmal die Visagebühren in Höhe von 30 € pro Nase bezahlen. Da wir über Malaysia eingereist sind , haben wir offiziell Indonesien verlassen und müssen erneut Visa für 30 Tage beantragen. Nach Toll.

18.00 Uhr: Unser Fahrer steht mit einem Schild mit meinem Namen am Ausgang und nimmt uns in Empfang.

Die Fahrt wird 4 Stunden dauern, für 120 km. Ich hatte ja gehofft, dass es kürzer wird, man kommt allerdings nicht schnell voran. Es ist einfach zu viel Verkehr auf den Straßen.

und bei dem Verkehr bin ich auch froh , dass wir hier keinen überfahren. Das wir irgendwann ein Auto oder Roller mieten, hat sich gerade für immer und ewig erledigt.

Wir halten auf der Strecke nochmal an , um etwas zu essen. Hier ist  Ramadan und unser Fahrer hat bis jetzt noch nichts gegessen und getrunken. Er soll uns ja auch heil in die Unterkunft bringen. 

Franzi nur leicht bekleidet im islamischen Land. Hatten wir jetzt einfach nicht auf dem Schirm.

Es geht weiter . Mittlerweile ist es dunkel. Der Verkehr stresst ganz schön, da wir uns an so eine Fahrweise nicht gewöhnt sind. Die Straßen wechseln von befestigt zu unbefestigt. Zum Schluss fängt es noch an zu Gewittern. 

Total fertig, sind wir endlich am Ziel. 

Wir beziehen unser Zimmer und versuchen bei gefühlten 35 Grad, hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit und einem Ventilator zu schlafen.

After going through security check at 4:55 am for flight to Charlotte, I'm busted for a contraband bottle of milk and one of water, escorted back to the main hall under this flag. That was after dropping my wallet as I loaded the pans to go through x-ray scanning. Nice little boy tapped me on the shoulder to see it lying on the floor. Then when I tried to walk through the body check, reminded to remove my shoes.
