Negli anni 90, quando Taino faceva i giri nei centri cittadini, era nel suo studio abitazione a Milano che si andava. Così come gli incontri settimanali di zazen dello Zenshinkai di Milano per oltre dieci anni furono ospitati da lei.

In questi giorni ho pensato molto ad Anne. Mi chiedevo come ricordarla, che rito celebrare per onorare la sua partenza e le tracce che ha lasciato nella nostra vita.

Ultimamente, attraversando i Giardini Montanelli (il primo parco pubblico di Milano, aperto nel 1784), ho visto la quercia di Montale schiantata a terra. Era caduta il 24 ottobre 2019 dopo una vita stimata di 200 anni, negli anni sempre più vecchia e cadente.

Ho proposto, per la trentina di suoi allievi tra cui era girata la notizia della morte, di vedersi martedì 30 giugno alle ore 7 di mattina (era l'ora in cui Anne iniziava a lavorare), ai Giardini Montanelli nel prato dove c'è la quercia di Montale.

Pensavo a una cerimonia tipo quella che tutti gli anni si fa a Scaramuccia per il dott.Martin.

Avevo portato dei bastoncini di incenso e una ciotola. L'idea era che ognuno, uno per volta, accendesse un bastoncino di incenso e lo posasse nella ciotola e condividesse, o meno, qualche parola di ricordo.

Il trenta giugno ci siamo trovati in quattro sul prato. Un saluto al sole, gli incensi e qualche parola. Una brezza leggera muoveva le fronde degli alberi davanti a noi. Venti minuti e ognuno è andato per la sua strada.

Di certo non ci dimenticheremo di lei: troveremo il modo più bello e utile perché qualcosa di questo bellissimo albero possa rimanere dove ha vissuto per 200 anni".
