I wanted to see how many of my all time favorite characters fit the different characteristics found in a tumblr sexyman. I copypasted the tropes from the sexypedia on this google spreadsheet and rearranged them in an order where similar tropes are near, starting with physical appearance and ending with things that have to do with their relationship with the fandom.

Well, Here We Go Again…

I’ve got a new romantic f/o everyone…he would make my parents faint so that makes me like him even more, and the reason why is NOT something I will reveal…I’m not revealing him yet, but he’s technically a previous version of an established character, who is also a well known tumblr sexyman…got any guesses 😉. "7/11 stoner worker x tumblr sexyman skeleton" (this need to become a fanfic, or crackfic by how silly goober it sounds) legit just dreamed y/n as a under minimum wage 7/11 worker and they smoke zaza. /srs so it goes like this Y/n stole a brownie "thinking it was a normal brownie" but nah they just accidentally ate a weed brownie from other 7/11 worker. so y/n is fucking freaking out about being fired from getting high on the job and is starting to feel the effects of the zaza then here comes "sans undertale" (*crowd laughing sfx*) entering the store and grabs some "Trolli sour bites crawlers" to go. Sans comes up to them to buy the candy to go and Y/n is sweating (stinky) and is trying to fight back the weed effects. sans, concerned asked them "*ey kiddo, you alright? you ain't looking so dry." (*crowd laughing sfx*) Y/n looks at him with zaza eyes and does the Jslutty shocked face pose and yells out "DEATH FROM SOUL EATER!?!?"

then i woke up to my alarm clock, MAN I WANTED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS NEXT >:( but life be kicking you in the balls sometimes ;-; finally got this out of my head, ngl this is pretty funny.

Also can't stand seeing art of stereotypically attractive OCs or self-inserts next to f/os I have and then others going in the tags/comments typing up "omg!! the otp!!" It feels to me like if you don't look a certain way next to a Tumblr sexyman, you can't be with them as your f/o. I'm struggling with myself if they even like me as I am because I don't conform to "traditional" gender norms/roles.

oohoo, great choice!!! 😉 🍷Red Academia🍷 ~ What’s your favorite fun-fact about your F/O? unlike my reply for 'Big' Jack Horner, i'm going to pick a canon fact - that Wally eats with his eyes!! i remember how riiight before Welcome Home absolutely exploded, there was a bit of a game of telephone going on, as older fans who interacted with Clown knew all about Wally's eating habits and incorporated it into their fanart;;; when i first discovered that gif of Wally eating with his eyes...man, i can't properly quantify the chills it gave me. i was just so awed and terrified all at once!! what a quirky, weird, downright frightening trait to give such a handsome fella 💖 that's exactly why i spent so long trying to play with Wally's powers in 'The Nightmare Picnic' - it was so awesome, i couldn't get the idea out of my head!! i think this quality of Wally's really helped build up the mythos around him, and why so many of us are fascinated despite having so little information...those suggestibly Eldritch powers are the kind of thing us Tumblr Sexyman fans tend to go wild for 🙈 it's all about the intimacy, isn't it? Wally stares at us all of the time...so, are we his next meal?

Its funny having both wildly popular and more obscure characters on my f/o list. And sometimes i forget so ill be either like "what do you mean most people dont want to make out so tenderly with paarthurnax on high hrothgar what do you mean hes not a tumblr sexyman contender" or I'm like "wait... so you're telling me that im not the only one who wants to kiss damon salvatore? hes widely regarded as sexy? sounds fake"

I think my f/o is turning into a Tumblr Sexyman, and I have mixed feelings about this. The good thing is that he'll get more popular and there will be more fanart, more fanfiction, ect. I love it when he gets attention and appreciation! But the bad thing is that there will be even more doubles. I am VERY selective in who I want to share with. I'm ok with doubles who have a dynamic and an interpretation of the character that is very different from mine. But if they resemble me and my dynamic too much, I'm out. I just can't, and I mean no offense towards those doubles. I can't help it, but I just can't look at their content without feeling super stressed and getting all kinds of physical symptoms. My autism, C-PTSD and anxiety might be responsible. My f/o comforts me, so doubles make me stressed.
