As teenagers/young adults, Cyan and Lin Ling often goes without breakfast so they can save on time, which is a big nono to Asian Dad Ghostblade. If he knows, he'll immediate pause their trainings, goes to the kitchen, and brings back out some amazing food.

Lin Ling often eats them, but not all (he gave the rest to Cyan and Loli) because he felt bad for having received help from a senior. After spying this, Picture 2 happens, where Ghostblade forces Lin Ling to finish his food, or Ghostblade will make Lin Ling finish his food.

Afterwards, Lin Ling always finish his senior's food right upfront lol.

And yeah, Loli's in the other side of the kitchen, so she's not in the pic lol XD

this is very untimely, but the fact that Xiao Yueqing died by the shore, of all places, made me realize that Lin Ling now completely parallels Mo Sha.

Before TBHX debuted, I wrote a meta about how Nice and Mo Sha are like Light and Shadow because of their shared themes and was ready to ship them if they did have chemistry in the show…but I dropped that meta and threw it out the window when it was revealed that Nice is actually Lin Ling, and the one in the PV against Wreck is theorized to be og Nice

Then episode 4 happened, and now Lin Ling shares more similarities with Mo Sha than og Nice ever did:

Both of their beloveds are dead

Both of their beloveds are associated with the moon (with Mo Sha, it’s implied in this PV)

Xiao Yueqing died by the shore, and in Mo Sha’s character PV there’s also a segment about a beach

Lastly, both their hero designs have black, white, and gold

Thunderbolt Fantasy x Mean Girls

Made these a few years ago but never shared them publicly so here they are lol.

Since I’ve seen some people say that they’d like to see more Thunderbolt Fantasy puppet performances, I will try, little by little, to upload more of my vids from the events I’ve attended! I believe I haven’t posted this here.

Here’s a cosplay-and-puppetry performance featuring a Sha Wu Sheng cosplayer, as well as puppets of Lin Xue Ya and Shang Bu Huan! (The mascot that appears briefly a few seconds in is Su Huan Zhen, or “Susu” as fans nickname him — the face of Pili Puppetry.)

This was at an event at Taichung Railway Park on January 31, 2025, a few days after this year’s Lunar New Year.

“Outta the way!” A random demon yelled in panic as he raced past Goliath, nearly knocking the bigger male over from the sudden impact.

“Rude.” Syntax huffed.

“You ok Goliath?” MK asked as he looked up from where he was. Goliath and Syntax had spent the morning helping Sandy move some heavy crates and boxes at the dock while MK had been busy helping Bai He with her stretches and work out exercises to help the girl regain her mobility. After the work was done, Bai He had gone with Mei for a ride on her bike, leaving the boys to finish up and head to Pigsy’s in their own time.

“One side big guys!” Yin yelled in warning before he raced past Sandy and Goliath. “Sorry Monkie Boy!” Jin yelled leapfrogging over MK and chasing after Yin.

“What in the world has gotten into them?” Goliath asked.

“Not a clu- oh dear.” Syntax said suddenly.

“Wha- Oh.” MK asked looking to see what Syntax had seen and then, very wisely let Sandy put him on his shoulders while Goliath lifted Syntax up again and both larger male stepped out of the way as Lin marched past them, looking furious as she went after her brothers, her uniform soaked with coffee and a nasty mark on her face as if someone had slapped her.

“A client?” Syntax questioned.

“Ex-boyfriend.” Lin stated coldly. “Soon to be late ex-boyfriend. Never to be found and no one to miss him.”

“Fair enough.” MK said he knew better than to get in the middle of a fight between the demons.

One of my favourite tai sui concepts is how when xi ping copies someone into the law breaker, they have a special tune associated with them that represents their personality. Like Bai Ling’s tune was described as orthodox court music, refined and steadfast, save for the way it goes off key at the end to signify that something’s a little unusual about him under the surface (being a demon). Yu Chang’s was really chaotic and full of anger with lots of interruptions and an overall intense sound in general. Zhao Qindan’s was a classic tune originating from Wan. I’ve always wondered what mine would sound like
