Sharetea: Oolong Tea with Cream Top

Tried at Epping Sharetea (NSW) with no sugar and no ice.

I'll get to the point - Sharetea has a lot of great offerings. This is not one of them.

Straight tea with a cream top leaves nowhere to hide. Generally, this is a positive - it allows good quality tea to shine without being smothered by milk or sugar, but gives readers a punch of sweet, creamy fluffiness at their leisure.

Unfortunately the oolong base of this drink tasted like water. Dirty water. The cream cap was nice enough, but nothing memorable. I had a sip of my husband's Mango Jasmine Tea with Mango Jelly, and that was much more palatable. I've had enough history with Sharetea to know they're one of the better budget boba providers, but I think it's safest to stick with milky or fruity choices.
