Hey, remember this video? This is how tumblr made the Undertale “Stronger than You” parody.

Hi guys! Before we start, some of you on tumblr may have been in the Undertale fandom in 2015 when this was taking place, but I wasn't. So if you were at the devil's sacrament, then reblog with what you remember! I'd love to hear primary source perspectives of events.

But without further ado, let's begin, and watch as ordinary people made Internet history. (under the cut)

Part 1: gymleadercheren

It all started when @gymleadercheren drew a snippet of the Sans fight, with some Steven Universe lyrics underneath. This post caught the eye of @thepinkestpug, who had an idea.

Part 2: thepinkestpug

Later that same day—Oct 10, 2015—thepinkestpug sang a parody. Now, her Soundcloud link… how do I say it… doesn't sound very good? (He calls it "poor quality" herself.) But because he was in both the UT and SU fandoms, she was uniquely qualified to come up with these lyrics.

Upon seeing the "Stronger Than You" parody, gymleadercheren was ECSTATIC that she inspired someone with her post. The next day, she asked thepinkestpug for "permission to smoosh our lyrics together and make a comic?” If you've seen djsmell's video, you may recognize what she made next…

Part 3: The Comic

It took 3 weeks, but on Oct 29, 2015, gymleadercheren finally finished her comic. With 38 PANELS in total, the post was an instant success. She credits thepinkestpug for her lyrics, and links to an 8-bit "Stronger Than You" instrumental. Today, the post has over 20k notes.

Part 4: djsmell

Two days later, on Oct 31, 2015, @djsmell made a song cover of the comic. He NAILED the voice of Sans, and used the 8-bit song cover from gymleadercheren's post. He posted about it on his blog, while his YouTube video now has 11M views.

Part 5: alfa995

It wasn't until nearly 2 months later that on Dec 21, 2015, @alfa995 finally finished his animation. It used djsmell's audio, and filled in the gaps where the comic made you use your imagination. Today, the YouTube video has been viewed nearly 80 MILLION times.

These were alfa995's words about everything that had happened so far: "So basically someone… made lyrics for an Undertale version of [a song from Steven Universe] and a comic based off it, then someone else sung it, and now I animated it. I love the Internet."

Part 6: Reflections

And that’s the history of this video! This singular video has grown in popularity to such immense heights, it's a well-known piece of trivia that more people recognize the Undertale “Stronger Than You” parody than the actual Steven Universe song it’s based off of.

What I find interesting is how each person involved in this process had a tumblr blog. They saw each other’s posts and made more posts based off of them. By fandom standards this happened LIGHTNING FAST, the idea took 2 and a half months from conception to completion. It’s this connectivity that created the 4th most-viewed Undertale video.

The Undertale scene on tumblr spawned many more memorable fan creations, such as the “Underpants” series by SrPelo, which became the entry point for many into the wonder that is his animations.

It is this fandom that made Undertale a goliath of Internet culture. It is this fandom that made it so that Toby Fox will always have a loyal, rabid audience. Say what you want about it, whether you love it or hate it, the Undertale scene on tumblr may never happen again.

This was my first time thinking about the Undertale fandom in a LONG time, and it was a nice trip down memory lane. Also, here’s a few things I found while researching that I couldn’t list above:

First, what's with all these "Stronger Than You" versions? I had no idea until I started researching that there were so many spinoffs of this singular video. Like, there's a CHARA response? There's a FRISK RESPONSE? THERE'S A TRIO VERSION?

And speaking of spinoffs, I want to shout out the video "Richer Than You"—absolutely phenomenal YTPMV that had a lot of effort put into it.

Finally, I want to shout out Super Eyepatch Wolf’s video, as it was my inspiration while writing this, and explains: “why did these videos get so popular?”

AG Presents: The Time Of Day Tour - NCT AG's First Headlining Tour

General Information

SM dropped the press release on June 6 announcing AG's plans for their first tour, called AG Presents.

Teasers was released on June 12th and 13th. In both, a portal to The Flat sat open in an alley. Two of the members would appear, wave at you, then proceed to close it. Just as the portal shuts, a piece of paper flies out and lands on the ground with the words “Wanna see the show?”

On June 14th, SM announced a new single will be dropped the week of the Seoul concerts.

The song, Future Starts Now (Kim Petras), was released on June 19th with Korean and English versions

Stage setup

AG's stage consists of the main stage, a ramp and the extended stage. The extended stage is rectangle shaped that's slightly curved making the entire stage look like an umbrella

To the side of the main stage is a tube that is measuring Dream-ergy (explained in the VCR Info section)

On the main stage is a huge circle with a lighting rig surrounding it. Most of it is a screen but in the middle section there are movable screens for the girls to walk on and off stage. Two stationary screens sit on either side of the circle as well

The seats between the main and extended stages were reserved for NCTzen AG - ACE members only

Premise of the show

The audience somehow ended up in The Flat. Their collective dreams of seeing AG brought them there.

The members fight a grey mechanic shark, hell bent on destroying dreams, including yours. This shark can use its mouth to bite portals to other dreams

The girls chase the shark through the different dreams of AGzens. While fighting off this monster they also have to collect enough Dream-ergy to send the audience back to earth. 

Throughout the show, the lights in the stadium will shift between green/blue/white and pink/purple/orange. While the lights are pink/purple, it means the audience is hearing from AG in story. While the lights are green/blue, the audience is hearing from the real members of AG, no storyline involvement

VCR Info

Before the opening VCR a ‘Welcome To The Show’ video greets the audience where the girls go over the rules of the concert as if you were attending a movie or Broadway show.

Sidenote for this VCR: I'm saying you cause the girls are talking directly to the camera. In a way they are breaking the fourth wall talking to you or the audience. So thats what I mean when I say you.

In the stadium, the lights and screens on the stage show a city background. Filled with people navigating the roads, entering in and out of businesses, driving down the street, etc. As it gets closer to showtime, the stadium lights slowly turn color until the whole venue is engulfed with pink lights. On the screen the cityscape is replaced with a pink swirling vortex that overtakes the cityscape giving the illusion of moving backwards into something.

When it hits showtime, the view is warped as you start to spin around. Then, you're shot out of the other side onto a new planet. The grass is pink, floating platforms of silver suspended in the air, bouncy up and down. Green, blue, purple and pink blobs of goo recreate clouds. the corner of the screen has coordinates and the planet's name, The Flat. 

Suddenly, an explosion goes off. The view whips around to a battle between four girls and a huge mechanical shark. One of the girls is swatted away by the sharks fin. She flies through the air landing right in front of you. Groaning, she rolls over and sits up on her knees. The girl turns toward you and you recognize its Hannah.

Hannah looks at you, puzzled and concerned, “You’re not supposed to be here." Hannah helps you stand "That shark can create portals to different universes. If you were to get sucked into one, we might not be able to find you.” Hannah alerts the other girls of your presence, telling them to watch out for you. “Alright we can’t send you back right now but stay close and stay low.” 

You follow Hannah as she joins the fight once again. Just as the girls start to get the upper hand. The monster roars, snapping its teeth together. Aurora darts away, narrowly missing her arm getting chomped. A portal opens behind you and AG. You and the members are pulled into the swirling blue vortex. Placed in a different universe, the girls are now in their first costumes for the concert. A staff member pops in, letting AG know they have five minutes until showtimes. 

Moxy notices you swaying back and forth and asks "Are you okay?". AG tries to go back but their powers aren't working. Juno figures until they get more dream-ergy(energy from dreams) they can't jump through the necessary portals to get back to The Flat and the monster. "There's no way we can open a portal that big without Naevis' help. And she's MIA."

AG asks you to help them collect Dream-ergy so they can get you and themselves back to The Flat. In order to start collecting Dream-ergy, AG must insert themselves into the dream fully. The girls inform you they won’t notice you until they pull themselves out of the dream. "We won't be able to talk to you anymore once were in." "Don't be scared, If you stay close we'll know you're there."

The members close their eyes. In a flash the girls are fully settled into the dream, not even acknowledging you anymore. "What are we waiting for? It's Showtime!!" From there, you follow them as they walk from their dressing room through the halls of the venue. They pick up jackets, bracelets, and microphones on the way to the stage. On the side screens, a new VCR plays, introducing the girls as they walk through the giant portal like entrance in the middle of the stage to start the show.

Young and Proud VCR (the original song is by Ace Of Base)

In this VCR, AG are in a dance room, dressed how they would before they debut. In no name-brand, baggy clothes.

Throughout the video, instead of seeing themselves as they are. In the refection of the mirror, the girls see themselves in outfits they have worn for past comebacks

The girls chose this as one of their VCR songs because Young and Proud is the first dance they choreographed by themselves.

Take A Hint VCR (the original song is by the Victorious Cast)

The members are at a diner, where there are a bunch of sleazy guys leering at them. For awhile they ignore them until one puts his brave face on, approaches the booth and tries to talk to Hannah. The girls look equally disgusted then they begin to sing.

The members dance around the diner, patrons and workers all joining in. The group of guys are so oblivious, partying along to the song. They don't even realize the girls are singing about them.

Once the song ends, the guy from earlier tries to speak but is interrupted by a car horn. Outside in a jeep, sits several members of NCT. Mark in the drivers seat waves the girls outside. AG says goodbye to the boy and his friends then head out, holding back their laughs until the door closes.

All About Us VCR (the original song is by T.a.T.u)

In this VCR, the girls are dressed like they're Ladies in Bridgerton. The girls have been sent to retrieve a crown that's making this dream into a nightmare

A party is going on and the members take the chance to go retrieve the crown but are stopped by their 'dates'. Their dates whisk them away to the dance floor. The crown is brought out for all the partygoers to see.

To distract the room from the crown, the girls bring their dates to the middle of the ballroom, inviting them to dance. As the song begins, AG sings along drawing the partygoers onto the ballroom floor with them. The choreography looks like it was ripped from a scene in Bridgerton.

During the climax of the song, all the girls are able to escape their dates and descend on the crown. As song ends, the girls are able to toss the crown through a portal and close it. AG escape thru another portal and leave the dream just as their dates reach the stage.

When Moxy’s high note comes up, lime green/silver streamers are shot out into the crowd. On the silver side, Each members signature is printed as a take away for the fans

Once the girls are backstage again, The Dreamergy Collector whizzes on. It beeps three times before the collected Dreamergy is released. The pink energy flows through the tubes that connect to the portal on stage. The portal powers on and the scene is still on the Flat.

From backstage, the girls sing a verse of The Parting Glass as the lights in the area turn from pink to green and the portal takes the audience back to the real world

Boy Group Cover Section - The girls were all wear black leather pants, black cropped shirts and black jewel adorned jackets with black boots.

Solo's/Duet's Section - These outfits are inspired by Aespa's costumes in the Savage Performance Video. The colors are change to lighter shades of the members signature colors (Moxy=mint green, Hannah=baby blue, Juno=baby pink, Aurora= lavender)

Girl Group Cover Section - the costumes for this set are modern hanbok's. Think Blackpink in the HYLT music video. The main colors are black and red instead of pink.

Extended Stage/Cart Section - These outfits are all sparkly with fringe. The girls are wearing all different types of glitter and jewels. Moxy and Aurora both have fringe on their shorts. Juno's top is bedazzled while Hannah wears sparkly mesh.

Finale Section - For the finale, the girls are wearing outfits like Red Velvets costumes for the 2021 SMtown online concert (the plaid ones). AG wear black plaid with white tops

Before the Show

Outside the Seoul venue was an area for fans to relax, play and take pictures before the concert starts

At the end of the area was a stage with a screen that played various music videos the members have participated in. SM organized a random play dance for fans on all three days

Near the SM building is a pop-up to celebrate AG's first concert tour. It was called Time Of Day: The Exhibition. In the exhibit, scenes from AG's music videos have been recreated for fans to walk thru. The members costumes for each video are displayed for fans to see up close. At the end is a gift shop where all of AG's albums are available for purchase again

Interesting fact about the pop up, The one album that sold the most copies is tied between Time Of Day (the full album) and Time of Day: Noon

At every show, including those outside of Korea, there is a booth that sells photocards from previous AG albums for any poca collectors

Tour merch is tie dye themed. The colors chosen represent each member’s color. Here is the list of goods being sold: Three T-shirts(one cropped), One long sleeve shirt, Two hoodies (one cropped), a bag, a bandana, a photocard set and a pin set

AG set a dress code for each day of the Seoul Concerts. Day 1 was signature colors. Day 2 was pajama/loungewear. Finally Day 3 was black, white and green.

Songs played before the show starts: Say Ok, Circle Game, Technically Single and Fly. Fans know the concert is about to start when I’ll Be There starts to play

You know that running joke of NCT being friendless outside of their group members. AG can no longer be included in that conversation after the concerts in Seoul.

Who knew all it took to unite the kpop world was Bruno Mars or AG.

One day 1, I swear all of SM was there. Boa, Taeyeon and Hyoyeon came together. Eunhyuk, Leetuck, Donghae and surprisingly Kyuhyun were in attendance. All of Red Velvet and Aespa were there. Taemin and Minho arrived together. Kai even got time off to attend the concert with Baekhyun and Chen

And you already know there was a whole section of seats blocked off for NCT use only. Each day one of the units was in attendance. Day 1 was for 127, Day 2 was WayV's turn and finally on day 3 was for Dream

On days 2 and 3, idols from all over the industry came to support the girls. Stray Kids, WJSN, Seventeen, Ateez, Xdinary Heroes, Treasure, Itzy, Kepler, BB Girls, Loona, Hyolyn, Tiffany and Seohyun. I could go on.

The biggest surprise was the appearance of Jungkook, Jimin and Taehyung of BTS. The screams that erupted from Armyzen's in the crowd were deafening. This was by far the biggest talking point on twitter. All netizens wanted to know how this friendship came to be.

It was revealed on one of the dancers Instagram's that the girls and their dancers play musical statues to loosen up before a performance.

Showtime!!

When the girls walked out of the portal for the first time, The crowd went BANANAS!! On day 1, Hannah had visible tears in her eyes. Weirdly, the girls stood at the top of the ramp soaking in the cheers from the fans before the music kicked in

The show director posted on Instagram that she gave AG fifteen extra seconds to feel the moment before starting the show

For Juno, this was her first concert. Reasonably she was in awe. At times, fans caught her just smiling out into the crowd with the most joyful expression

As soon as they reached the first Mnet, the girls were crawling to the places. Moxy even said "Whoever thought it was a good idea to put all our dance heavy songs in the beginning...we gotta talk."

The crowd couldn't get enough of the solo/duet section. Neither of the duet tracks had been performed before so the nerves were quiet high with the girls.

Moxy and Juno's Be There choreography was a sight to behold. At every turn, it looked like one member could fall only for the other to catch them. Creating a dance the fit the tone of the song perfectly

The dance for Let Me Move You was so much fun. Hannah and Aurora couldn't stop smiling the whole time. Fans later found out Moxy and Hannah choreographed the dance with the help of Bada Lee

Each of the girls solo performances proved their talents to fans across the world. Each girl never being swallowed by the stage. Not the slightest bit afraid to stand alone and sing. Moxy's solo stage is the only one fans had seen before so everyone in the stadium were excited to see Juno, Hannah and Aurora murder the stage

Juno's stage was the cutest. While simple, History's dance really showed the singers improvements. Juno danced with a male dancer telling story of the song

The On + Off stage was beautiful. The entire stage and venue was bathed in white lights. Aurora was seated on the floor, knees bent and arms wrapped around them, while dancers filled the stage and worked around her. At different times, the dancers would physically pull her to different spots. Only for Aurora to assume her previous position again. Fans called the performance powerful. A testament to Aurora's talent a performer

Hannah had the fans in a chokehold with her sexy performance of Let Me Get Me. Hannah had all female dancers with her. The most iconic moment was Hannah stopping the music after the first chorus, strutting down the ramp then dropping to the floor one leg out ala The Boys by GG

A fan favorite set was the girl group covers. Fans could get enough of how AG performed Genie. The members sang the song acapella. Dropping the back track in favor of letting their true voices shine through.

AG made it a point to give their dancers a moment of their own to show off their greatness. At every show, during Do It Like This, three different dancers got a chance to freestyle before the girls came back out to the stage.

Once the members boarded the carts during Liberty Walk, both carts make it a point to stop in front of the disabled section and give those fans a special moment

Luckily, no fans were harmed when the signed bouncy balls started being thrown.

Future Starts Now is a dance-pop song encouraging fans to go out and conquer the world. The message and title fit AG perfectly. At this point in their careers, their ready to close this book and start a new one, ready to take the world by storm. AG were having fun with the choreography. AGzen's said it felt like a Girls Generation choreography but AG-ified.

SLAP got new choreo shocking everyone. The move were matured, matching the growth AG have made in the past four years. The chorus dance still kept some moves but changed others, mixing the old and new into something different but welcome.

Fireworks were popped during Coloring Outside The Lines, painting the night sky. During Moxy's bridge part, fans could hear the emotions running thru the leader. The tears she held back.

Concertgoers let other fans who were attending the concert to stick around for the shows special ending. On day 1, a ton of fans missed the girls singing them home and wishing them safe travels.

During Day 2 and 3, the girls relaxed more, enjoying the moment. This was their first concert tour. the tour director posted a video of herself reminding the girls that concerts like this should be about making memories. They already know the show from top to bottom, it was time to have fun. Cause the fans have more fun when they do.

AG kept their composure during the ending mnet's on day 1 and 2. The floodgates opened during day 3

"When I left Hawaii, my dad didn't want me to go. He wanted me to stay, go to college there. I never understood what he was afraid of but I guess I won't know until I have my own kids. At that all the girls started crying. Moxy was wailing, "What the hell, Hannah! You can't just quote Lilo and Stitch at us!"

Aurora was silent for a moment before she started speaking

On Day 3, after the girls performed Coloring Outside The Lines, the lights went down and a video began to play. The AG Korean Fan Union sent a video for AG to be played on the third day. In the video, the fans thanked AG for their hard work even when fan numbers were few. After the video finished, they turned around to a sea of banners that said "AGzen stand with AG till Liberty"

The girls were already teary eyed but the banner project pushed them over the edge. The day 3 mnet's pushed the fans over the edge. Tears were flowing on both sides.

During the tour, you can really tell how much both sides, AG and fans, care about each other and the success of the group

Moxy ends every show like she ends her vlive’s “Be safe, Be happy, Be healthy and most importantly, Be nice."

Differences between shows

The dress code chosen for the rest of the concerts was black, white and green. London and Toronto were the most coordinated cities. The fans going so far as to assign colors to different sections.

At the Japan shows, the cover songs have been changed to Japanese songs.

For the boy group covers: Gimme Gimme (NCT), Electric Kiss (EXO), Breaking News (SHINee), Opera (SuJu), Mirotic (TVXQ)

For the girl group covers: MASAYUME Chasing (BoA), Galaxy Supernova (SNSD), 4 Walls (F(x)), Wildside (Red Velvet), Black Mamba (Aespa)

For the Japan concert, AG released a debut mini album called Time Of Day: 時間 (Jikan, Time in Japanese). The album included five songs: four previously released and one new.

The new song is called COWBOY(by F(x)). Along with the mini album, a mv for COWBOY was released where the members are coaching a girl on how to win a boys heart, by being herself. In the setlist, COWBOY is performed between Do It Like This and Liberty Walk

The other four tracks are songs rerecorded in Japanese. SM looked at the Japan charting info to determine which ones would be translated and rerecordd. Those songs are: Breakout, Hit Me Up, Shut Up and Dance, Our Time Is Here.

Aurora was strangely emotional at the London shows. She didn't even cry at the shows in Seoul. But in London, fans were shocked when tears spilled out during her final mnet.

Later, in the London vlog, it was shown that Aurora's paternal family were all at the show. In a tearjerking moment, Aurora was embraced by her grandmother, someone she hasn't see in years.

During the U.S shoes, Future Starts Now and Something Like A Party are performed in English

While in Chicago, AG performed on the last day of Lollapalooza. They were on the BMI stage at 7:30-8:45. They didn't prepare anything special because of the tour but the girls packed a TON of songs into their time slot.

While Hannah's parents came to the Seoul show with all of AG parents, at the L.A show they brought Hannah's younger sisters to the show. The fans were so nice to them, giving them freebies and conversing with them.

After the show, The AG twitter account posted a video of the three sister embracing, tears on all their faces.

AG were unable to attend KCON in a performance capacity. They did hold a fansign hosted by hello82, though.

One fan asked if they watched WayV or Taeyong’s performance. Hannah revealed they had their manager screen record both sets so they could watch it back on the plane ride to LAX.

Taeyong and WayV attended AG’s last show in California. After the show, the members came backstage. Taeyong gave a speech to the girls, congratulating them on finishing the U.S. leg of the tour. Camera’s for AG’s instagram account filmed a part of the speech and posted it on their stories.

“I cannot express how proud I am of you four. You’ve grown as women and professionals. You all are blossoming before my eyes and the pride I feel every time I see you walk on stage is overwhelming.”

All the members of NCT flew back to Korea together, since the next week was NCT Nation

U.S fans put together another banner project for the second show in LA. This time, the fans used the video to congratulate AG on their achievements up till this point including selling out each stop in the U.S. leg of the tour.

At each of the girl's hometowns, Chicago, Houston, New York and California (for Hannah cause getting to Hawaii would be a logistics nightmare), management chose 25 attendees to come back stage and meet the girls in a private meet-n-greet. No filming was allowed but fans did get professional photos sent to them after the US leg finished.

While in Canada, the girls called Mark during their final mnet so he could greet the Canadian fans.

In Latin America, the girls perform a cover of Celoso by Lele Pons in full Spanish. Celoso was performed after Future Starts Now. On top of that, they changed Suju's Black Suit to Suju's Lo Siento in the boy group cover section

Online Tour Content

In every city the girls filmed vlogs of what they get up to while on tour. All of the highest viewed vlogs were in their respective hometowns.

Moxy's America food tour returned for another season. This time instead of tacos, the girls ate pizza at local pizzerias suggested by fans.

At the end of the tour, AG released a special tour video of Cannonball which edited together all the best clips of the members performing the song across all the tour stops (think Ateez's video for Dancing Like Butterfly Wings)

Two shows came out in conjunction with AG’s tour. One from Mnet and the other from Disney+.

Mnet’s show was called AG 도전 (Challenge in Korean)

The premise of the show: AG are known as FFI or Fearless Female Idols. All AG members are a part of NCT, a predominantly male idol group, for a reason. They face the challenge of being female idols in male groups every day and they conquer it every time.

Over each episode, ten in total, AG has a chance to win $500. The money will go towards AG’s end of tour trip to an unknown location. 

Every episode will have a main subject to focus on and it could be anyone. Each episode has two challenges each worth $250. The first challenge is The Game. AG have to answer questions about their subject then win in a game their subject has played before.

If they pass, AG picks one of the subject's songs to perform. If they fail, the staff chooses.

The Second challenge is The Performance. AG has to perform the song chosen. If the staff chose the song, AG has to face an extra challenge of the staffs choosing. AG winning the last $250 isn't up to the staff though. It's up to their fans and the subject themselves. 

Each performance is dropped online for the fans to see. By a voting system, if they like it, AG wins $125. The other $125 is won by the subject of the week also voting in AG’s favor. 

In each episode, the are also surprise challenges that AG filmed while preparing for tour that can help or hinder their performance depending on if they win or lose 

An episode debuts after each tour stop on the U.S. leg of AG’s tour until they finish in Vancouver.

The show ends in a special episode where their vacation destination is revealed to the girls, Disney World

The second show isn’t a show at all, Its a documentary on Disney+ about AG in conjunction with their tour. Part 1 has interviews about the creation of AG and videos of the girls preparing for the concert. Part 2 is the filmed Seoul day 2 concert.

The girls prepare alot of changes for this concert.

The premise of these shows is the dream-eating Shark is back and is causing the fans to have nightmares. Now AG has come back to fight the monster off and restore your dreams.

The show has a loose theme of moving on. Remembering the past and stepping into the future.

Netizens were freaking out after the first day because AG changed the WHOLE SETLIST almost

Fan's in attendance had no idea what was going on. They weren't prepared at all.

AG had a whole new opening set, extended stage set, new solo songs, new covers for and a new finale. Needless to say, AGzen's were FED!!!

juries need to be reworked. its been known for many years at this stage and we can no longer pretend 5 people is a representative sample worth the same weight as the thousands per country who vote. if you tried to use 5 people as a representative sample in any other scenario you'd get laughed out of the room. they aren't eurovision experts, they're not like the panel at a gymnastics competition or something, they're just complete music industry randoms. when the two boards are this disprate it is stark evidence that the juries do not represent the music taste of the country and are given too much weight compared to the thousands of votes. it's like we watched two completely different shows. they're out of touch, corruptable, and value "art value" (ballads) over what the viewing public actually values (being entertained on the entertainment show). it does not prevent bloc/diaspora voting because the juries do that just as much if not more, as we saw last year with the jury corruption scandal. it's just last year they got caught. this may be the straw that broke the camels back with the juries and i hope it is.

käärijä would not have won with the old combined system because despite getting more 12s in the public than loreen, he received so many low jury scores whereas loreen conversely received many 10s from the public. he would have won if we only had the public vote, and with a historic 2nd highest score ever tied with Sobral. it's unmistakably the juries that are the issue.

i'm happy loreen won, that's my girl, but i would have been just as happy for käärijä to win, too. i would have prefered käärijä to have won than this outcome, however, because her win is now tainted forever and will not be seen as legitimate by such a large swathe of eurofans. the amount of vitriol i'm seeing towards her, as if she manufactured this outcome, is making me so angry. as if she's the first winner to ever return, as if there isn't decades of precedent for it. her returning isn't new or special, and she was chosen by the voting public of her country in one of the most rigorous pre-esc contests, melodifestivalen. she wasn't chosen by internal selection for gimmick reasons, like the uk sending a tiktok celebrity to chase clout. so the way the historic first ever double win for a queer woman of colour has been fucked up in such a way due to a broken system is just. not the tea. i really hope she has a good support system around her in the next few weeks because she's going to end up wrongly having to shoulder so much of the blame.

show thoughts:

overall line-up fantastic, so strong I couldn't predict the bottom. a very deserved no-nil year. the fact this line-up was down to public voting rather than jury interference does not escape my notice, either.

flag parade was a really fun time and loved seeing the old guard. a shame ruslana couldnt be there but loved seeing her in the interval vt. loved seeing tina karol also, underrated by everyone except us diehard fags lol.

show was way too uk centric. despite kalush performing the intro video was all about us and our shit celebrities. sam ryder should not have gotten a solo performance and the interval should not have been about liverpudlian acts. even julia's participation was diminished from what we saw in the semis - they should have had her in the green room instead of alesha or hannah if they were going to bring in graham as a 4th. the uk did not win in 2022 and that wasn't highlighted. it was very disrespectful to ukraine's win.

the interval was a poor attempt to piggyback off of Switch Song which i dont think will ever be topped, tbqh. I am, however, so happy Dadi Freyr finally got to perform at a final after two runs that were out of his hands. It was very funny having him perform Atomic Kitten, of all things, however, lmao.

hannah was a phenomenal host in general, one of the best there's been in modern day. similar to nikkie tutorials being a great host, there's a skill to seeming relaxed and open to improvisation that most hosts do not have. comparing her to alesha dixon was night and day. it was comfortable to watch hannah because she was just inviting the audience to have fun with her. graham has this same skill because he does it on his show. other countries should take note of this and choose hosts that aren't just people who can read an autocue but instead people who are light on their feet.

hannah and graham were a fantastic duo in the jury votes, it was the first time in memory where i've enjoyed watching the hosts kiki during it instead of me going wandering around getting drinks or eating. except for hatari they didn't seem stressed about time constraints or miffed about spokespeople going over the way most hosts are and it made for a much more comfortable experience because they were just vibing. it was nice. it was like having friends in the room pulling faces.

the jury rep who said "this was an exciting night for the girls and the gays" absolutely fucking sent me to pluto.

overall i enjoyed the show, one of the most enjoyable there's been, but yeesh. the way this esc may end up being a turning point year is so fucking unfortunate.

so youtube dropped some “trans women in sports” videos on my way, I watched one, it was well analyzed from a scientific point of view, but it only gave example of trans athletes who have won something against cis women, but I doubt it was intentional as the creator’s opinion is that competitive sports can never be truly fair as the genetic advantages of some people simply can not be controlled even in between cis people. over all a good video

then we go to the comments, and while there are plenty positive trans inclusive ones, the terfs are there to.

their talking points start with:

thousands of cases, of trans women breaking records and taking wins from  “reAL wAMeWn”

when you asked them to give you any example of those thousands, they of course move the goal posts and go on about

“but the athlete at 9th place would have taken the scholarship, or would qualify for the olympics, if the trans woman was not participating”

and you reply like a logical person, that the trans woman was 7th, or 6th or 4th, a mere top 10 athlete she didn’t break any records, her times/scores/weights/whateverthehell are similar to her cis opponents.

and they go

“but if she was playing in men’s sports she would be nobody!11!!” 

and you check your notes on a specific athlete to see that she had broken a record in the men’s division before her transition, then she stopped competing, until she was fully transitioned and in the regulation for trans athletes, and she won some local medals she lost some other locals, she didnt won a world title and she didnt break any record, so what the fuck you really talking about here?

he speaks of the “HRT reduces strength” for 30 seconds and dismisses it as not enough. shows pictures of some trans athletes that have made the news, but doesnt touch on their performances whatsoever. he doesnt touch at all on puberty blockers, which is probably the case with most if not all trans kids athletes these days. On April 26, CBS announced that the police procedural would end after three seasons. The sudden cancellation left Lachey “gutted, confused, blindsided.” 

"Processing this news and still being present with my family. I Love You all!" she wrote on her Instagram Stories when news of the axing broke. 

“Mahalo Nui Loa,” Lachey added, which translates to “thank you very much.”

Five days later, the former Entertainment Tonight correspondent expanded her thoughts on the cancellation with an Instagram post paying tribute to her character and time on the show.

Vanessa Lachey Teases Personal Connection to NCIS: Hawai'i Episode: It's 'Allowing Me a Lot of Healing' (Exclusive)

The fandom even began a petition on Change.org in hopes of bringing back the series, which as of May 3, has garnered over 23,000 signatures.

“NCIS: Hawaii has been more than just a television show for many of us. Over the past three years, it has become a beacon of representation and inspiration, changing lives in ways unimaginable. Happy Birthday Elaine Constance Smith was born on August 2nd 1958 in Baillieston.

It was a perfect match for Elaine, famed for her vocal prowess and never one to shy away from a political statement or two.

When Tony Roper handed Elaine his script for a play that had been rejected elsewhere, Elaine took it to the Wild Cat Theatre Company. Tony’s play The Steamie, became a great success, and still well loved today. It also gave Elaine the chance to show off her acting chops as she was cast as Dolly alongside Dorothy Paul and Katy Murphy.

Since then, Elaine has found success in the comedy scene in seminal Scottish comedy shows such as Naked Video, City Lights and Rab C Nesbitt as well as a stage career that’s taken her around the world, the most famous of which is her portrayal of fellow Scot Susan Boyle in I Dreamed A Dream, a musical about the Bathgate singers life.

I really enjoyed Elaine in her own travel series, Burdz Eye View, where she visited Scotland’s holiday destinations including the East Neuk of Fife, Ayr, Nairn, Largs and Millport, Aviemore and the island of Arran, learning about the area’s history, local delicacies and way of life. More recently she has been starring in the sitcom Two Doors Down.

Last year she said in an interview she always sees herself playing the typical Glesga woman. She said

“I play these women because they ARE real. These are roles that resonate. I know women like them, and I want to tell their stories and get their voices out there .The best compliment I ever got was years ago, in a shop on Buchanan Street, when a woman recognised me and asked if I was ‘that lassie that played Mary Nesbitt. ’When I said yes, she grabbed me arm and said, hen, naebody does a Glasgow wummin like you.”

She also said she doesn’t see herself in a period drama like Outlander or Downton Abbey,  stating “  I’d be the cook. Or the nurse. There was talk of an Outlander episode at one point, I think, but probably ‘hag-up-a-hillside’ or the like….”

Elaine is always a lady for supporting charities and social causes, she recently talked about the cost of living crisis,  she says;

“The cost of living is going through the roof and thing are getting harder for people. We all need to create more of a stooshie about homelessness, and more needs to be done but this event gives a bit of light and hope and will raise money for desperately needed projects.”

She will be taking part in a charity cycle event,  Social Bite’s Break the Cycle challenge to help raise £1m to fund vital projects. She has agreed to do the “Wee” one, a three mile segment with her Granddaughter. The event

in light of the new year I've decided to talk all by favourite releases/groups that either came out this year ( I've also included songs i discovered  this year), i won’t be  including  any releases I've already reviewed. in no particular order.

catch & release-H1 KEY: i found this song like a couple months ago and i love it so much, the only way i can describe is if ITZY released flip a coin by BILLIE, it’s so good.

shakalaka - dal shabat: this song is sooo good i love the instrumental it  sounds glittery. i wish there were performance videos because i really wanna see the choreography.

forever 1 - SNSD: this song is so amazing, i already have a soft spot for group reunions but this song slaps, i feel like if you enjoyed queendom by red velvet or scientist and TTT by twice this song is right up your alley. also whoever was responsible for the final chorus deserves a raise for  the pure amount of emotion in her voice.

designer nct 127: i love this song so much it’s so nice, i love R&B so much anyway but SM’s producers  really understand the genre.

copycat - APINK CHOBOM: the vibes this song have are immaculate, there's something so nostalgic about it.

AOA: I've listened to AOA casually  but i recently decided to check out their Bsides and they have so many good ones, my recommendations are: cherry pop, super duper, 10 seconds and short hair(which isn’t a b side but still bangs)

No one has ever impressed Lee Mujin the way Lily did in this episode of Lee Mujin Service. He was either literally speechless or too stunned to think straight. A lot of people had probably been waiting for this episode. Lily's been praised plenty for her vocals, but as she's a rookie, a lot of fans hesitate to compare her to the likes of, say, Wendy. However, after her cover of Psycho, I think people will finally decide to compare her with veteran idols and not just the 4th gen main vocalists. Lily's cover of Psycho was pretty flawless. She can rap too; I mean, as well as most idol rappers.

Besides Psycho, Lily sang Dice super well and covered Butter. I was very surprised she covered Butter, because she could've chosen a song like Hello to showcase her skills, like people expected her to, yet she chose a fun song. She was the first to cover BTS too, and she did a good job. She also did a good job covering Hello. She definitely proved she had range, though her voice isn't very versatile imo. Like many people with powerful voices, every song she covers has the same vibe and sound.

I didn't like the duet with Mujin that much though. It was fine, but not Mujin's best duet.

Lily's clearly not very confident in her Korean; it was clear from her introduction and how she failed to introduced Dice, lmao. She was kinda shy, but very cute and polite. Super polite haha. I hadn't expected her to be so shy, and Mujin realized early on he'd have to do the talking, but that's normal; when are his guests not shy lmao?

But, anyway, Lily is going to become even more popular now, and Mujin was right when he said the number of views on this video would reflect her vocals skills.

Anyhow I'm cooking by writing 4 some fourth dimension entities. I'm a fan of the incomprehensible horrors. Cosmic horror is my favorite. So for a while I've been writing some things and it's fun but I promise you'll be confused at first. They always are. How it goes is that it follows the premise I will now lay unto you as I have figured about the universe. It is my speculative belief that the third dimension is a matter of perception. Yes nothing new. But that this perception is, in reality, the fourth dimension in conjunction with the 3rd. I argue that the fourth dimension are a state of being. It isn't entirely like a "State of being" but also a state of perception. It's gonna get a little confusing so bare with me. The 3rd ... Uh okay okay so I argue seven total dimension, or six. 3rd, logic and reason, 4th state of existing/states of happening, 5th

*pee break* you know I feel like how the sims talk to each other when I talk with people. As in I just gotta do some weird shit like babble nonsense and hope for the best. But as I've grown I think that's okay. I'm happy with it. Its simple that way.

*break over* 5th are still states of happening but we'll call it the "great pushers" for later reasons, 6th becomes more refined into the nothingness and totality of one thing or the other, 7th is the end of infinity.

It's fun I know. So check it uh it's hard to explain without starting from the most complex but to really ground it and build the logic up I'll need to start from the simplest

So uh that's a bid of an issue because you'll get wordy... At least I will. But I'll try

Remember speculative belief.

Uh so the third is perceived by itself since it is comprised of , say, patterns. At what point will a pattern recognize a pattern? Say something became to see a pattern so much it say patterns. Patterns belong belief. So complex and so vast. This is ego death. When the aware becomes aware to the point it finds no logic in how it is aware. It begins to believe what it must to move forward. Because it is the 3d limit. The 3rd limit to accepting that all things are tangible. See I argue that a pattern entity can gain consciousness by only reaching a higher dimension of patterns. This is why I also argue that the ideas of a "second brain" thing have truth. Because it's a consciousness holding in-between perceiving two different things entirely but "speaking to each other" to get things done. Which is why we can't multitask in the sense of doing things at the same time to the same efficiency. Confident that there's only more skilled and not actual multitasking people. Correct me if I'm wrong tho. So I argue that our second brain is doing and thinking a whole different ball game. At this point though that's not tangible. To create "thought" capable of a higher sense you'd have to exist as something. Because it's at this dimension that logic has no meaning. So remember that. Meaning yes that my reasoning has no meaning after this point and can be anything but shh. So this second brain perceives that dimension as it is. Right? Maybe? This is the idea though. So I think that perceiving something up there creates things down here. Because if the idea that "the reality we see is created by how we see it" holds then we'll jump and say it holds throughout. Who knows we could've had something right with that. So I think that our brains create things based off of what we see in the natural world. Is cannibalistic but I argue that each brain takes images from each other to create a form of reality for itself. Imagine your self half in and half out the water. Your body is experiencing two things at once. Put your eye in and leave one out of the water. Youre looking at entirely different things. Or at least having a semi different experience than your other half. This I argue is true to the 4th dimension but with information and perceived energy. The 5th is the force that pulls us. Time is created by us in our fourth because it's how we saw the universe. Think about now your head above water, eyes closed, trusting your senses, you suddenly feel the water move, so you begin to move, because all you knew was moving. So the 5th I argue is the backstage of reality. Something behind the curtains is pushing time and time is pushing us. I think newtons "things moved will continue until stopped" and vice versa is dumb. But if it holds true then why can't we argue the same of another dimension? If we can't then I argue we can't say the same about us. Because if something pushed, definitely the origin point, then what pushed that force and so on? I argue a force moved in the 5th dimension moves the 4th, moving the 3rd. Maybe it's a shape? Maybe it's whatever you want to call it. But I argue it's something specific. It's not like ... Well as a 3d entity can be partly the 4th so can the 5th and the 4th. So the 4th are the true state of things. "True" as true to the 3rd dimension can be but the fifth isn't really perceivable? So imagine the above water part of you. You then find out you're in some like indoor pool. But the interior of the indoor pool is covered, in so much detail, shapes all around. Take note of how everything is covered in some sort of shape. Now imagine those shapes moving. Any direction. They're flooding the room and don't leave a part uncovered. Now that's the state of the 4th. But things are weird here because "Something always moves something" so now we've gotta imagine "something" moving those shapes. Maybe the wind, the idk gravity, ECT. But you see the issue? Can only comprehend so much. Logic -> tangible concepts -> states of happening

The 5th is just something that's happening that's causing the 4th dimension to move. The stuff of horrors. On to the 6th. Here's where fewer forces are applied. Tbh anything is anything at this point so argue that there's more but don't @ me when I said these are my thoughts. So the 6th is huge sources of energy. Whole time each dimension has its own form of energy to inflict on another. But imagine more energy used in the 6th and becoming less in number. Because I also argue that this energy breaks down and becomes "more abundant" but "less useful". So this is where totality truly comes to life. It's blurred with the seventh because you can make the same arguments. But here is more of totality because all it takes it a few decisions to have it effect an untold number of entities. As in few "happenings" of whatever is involved up there doesn't logically need to happen much. These terms are used so loosely omg. You have no idea. Think the pool, still half in, eyes open, patterns moving, the air is moving the shapes, there's a giant outside waving a big fan.

Logic -> tangible concepts -> states of happening -> fewer states of happening

So here I posit that I have no clue multiplied by infinity. I've made it my job to think about infinity in its totality. It's a path that had lead me to only see the world in an amalgamation of fluids. I feel like I'm going crazy. Picturing infinity is picturing nothing. It's realizing that there is an end to infinity no matter how large. But it's also realizing that you'll never see it. Understand it. Perceive it. Because the cosmic horror you have yet to face is yourself.

Anyway I argue that the 7th is like "God" or whatever. It's the end of the infinity in its totality concept. Infinity ends somewhere. Trust me on this. I'll just never live long enough to tell you guys. Even if I were to type logic and reason into this website. It would be too much for all things to withstand. 7th is even fewer happenings happen. An original or less source or energy viewed only by one that also views, and viewed, all in its happenings. The infinity infinity. Raise is what act like it'll matter. Arguing about a 7th dimension is disproving all known logic. But nonetheless this is what I argue for our fabric of reality. That we are not alone and the real 4th dimension entities are not only us but others too. We're not the only solar system that moves.

Erikka Storch: ‘I Will Still Be Engaged’

She’s not that phone call anymore. No longer is she the go-to legislator. At the end of the day Friday when her official resignation takes full effect, W.Va. Del. Erikka Storch (R-4th) will be finished being our “fast fix” and our “quick call.” And, c’mon now, let’s be sure not to forget we all considered her, at some time or another, to be our personal “Storchapedia” when it came to anything related to state government. Storch paid extra attention so we could pay zero attention. She served as a Republican, sure, but Democrats called her with concerns, too. In fact, her insistence to represent her constituents – literally all of them – cost her opportunities and leadership positions. And she did that for us, not for herself, even though she’ll never admit to any of it. Erikka Storch has defied what we’ve been hearing about politicians over the last 10 years without even trying. While the electorate has been brainwashed to believe we must refuse everything proposed by anyone on the other side of the aisle, Storch has been busy figuring out what works best for the people in Wheeling, in Ohio County, and in the Northern Panhandle no matter their party affiliation. Because that was her job. It always has come down to that very point of truth. It. Was. Her. Job. Even as a member of the GOP, she viewed her role as the representative for all citizens in District 4 and beyond. And she filled that role better than most in memory, and Storch demands her decision to resign does not mean she will vanish any time soon. Storch mentored the freshman members of the House this regular session. What was the original reason why you decided to run for the West Virginia House of Delegates? My brother, Steve planted the “seed” for me to run. Following reading an article about Delegate Orphy Klempa deciding to run for Senate, my brother and I were discussing our concerns about continuing common sense perspectives representing Ohio County. I discussed it with my family, and trusted advisors, and filed a couple of weeks later. Did you ever hit the wrong button when voting? I don’t think I’ve ever “hit the wrong” button. Each vote was cast with the best intentions based on the information I had at the time. I’ve had votes that I have regretted, but they were made with the best information I had at the time. Are the roads really better in Charleston than they are in Charleston? I definitely notice a difference between our roads and Charleston roads, but that is due to many reasons. First, through downtown, Wheeling has been undergoing utility upgrades for a while. The streetscape project has been delayed, and crews have encountered crazy circumstances under our roads and general downtown area. Also, I cannot say I have ever seen any kind of equipment, water trucks, sand trucks, or anything like that on secondary roads in the greater Charleston area. Storch has made friends with "Baby Dog," the governor's pet, during the past couple of years. What will you miss the most? The people. I have made lifelong friendships with so many great people from all around the state. It has been my honor and privilege to serve the people of Ohio County. I truly feel blessed to serve in this role for as long as I have. I may not be holding the title any longer, but I am committed to helping those who have helped me. I will still be engaged. Dels. Fluharty and Storch have worked well together since Flunarty was first elected to the House in 2014. Why do you feel you were a great voice not only for Ohio County but also for the Northern Panhandle? Because I got the respect of both parties and leadership & was able to be an effective legislator. For instance, I served on 2 re-districting committees in my time, 2011 and 2021, appointed by different Speakers of different parties. In 2011, I was the only freshman Republican member appointed. I wasn’t a showy member. I don’t post a lot of pictures and videos. I prefer to work behind the scenes and compromise for the greater good. A lot of times, the roll call doesn’t tell the whole story.
