It’s just a random thought prompt, but DCxDP where Danny is talking to one of the other bats/heros

hero: phone goes off, them groaning “I downloaded this stupid app so I could learn (insert language) for a mission, but it won’t shut up with the reminders

Danny: glances up from where he was chilling out and talking “why not just delete it?”

Hero: “I’ve tried, but the stupid owl app won’t go away”

Danny and the bats freeze, turning to the hero in horror: “do the damn lesson”

Hero: blinking “why, it’s not like the stupid bird can actually do anything.”

Danny: hisses “dude, shut up! Duo is a powerful eldritch horror, he’ll kill you!”

John Constantine: walking in the room and spitting out his drink “why in the bloody hell are you even mentioning that blokes name?!”

Danny: points at hero “he downloaded their app and is refusing to do their daily lessons!”

John: stares in horror before nopeing out “you bastards are on your own!”

Danny: grabbing the bats and opening a portal to the cave “nope, we out, I’ve dealt with enough nightmare to know a fight I can’t win when I see one”

Hero: left standing alone, glancing at his phone as it vibrates again with a notification “well… shoot”

Kiss it Better

(Jinx x fem!reader)

Summary: you are making Jinx a knife in her workshop, but cut yourself in the process. Jinx fixes you up

Warnings: blood. hand injury.

A/N: This is an idea I’ve had for a while. Enjoy!

“Dammit.” The knife you were holding slipped. Cutting your hand in the process. Blood starts to drip on to the table.

“Shit no.” You quietly curse yourself.

You grab a random rag, trying to clean the mess.

You were no stranger to building stuff. You were actually pretty good at it.

However, this was your first time working in Jinx’s workshop.

So, you weren’t too familiar with all the different tools.

You also, were working too quickly, wanting to finish the knife, before Jinx got back.

Which led to the knife slipping.

You huff. Frustrated at yourself. You start to look for the first aid kit. Jinx moves it around daily. So, it could be anywhere.

You kneel down, looking through some boxes when you hear a noise……

-Jinx is coming-

You scramble to your feet. Putting your injured hand behind your back.

“Hey”a toots! Why are you in my workshop hu?”

Jinx walks in. Mischief in her eyes, looking you over.

“Did you just miss me that much?”

She says teasingly, getting closer to you.

You take a step back. Trying to stand in front of the unfinished knife laying on the table.

“Umm….hiii.” You say awkwardly, holding your injured hand tightly behind your back.

“You know me. I ahhh….just needed to ummm….” You continue to take steps back, until you hit the edge of the work table.

“Hey! Whatcha hidden behind your back?” She raises an eyebrow, a smirk on her face.

“Did you get me somethin? Oooor what?”

She presses. Getting even closer. Now only a few feet away.

“Come on….let me see. The suspense is killing me.”

She says dramatically, putting her lip out in a pouting manner.

“No it’s not what you think. I was-“

Jinx quickly grabs your shoulder, spinning you around, playfully giggling.

But stops when she sees the blood.

“Wh….what happen?”

You turn back around to look at her, holding your injured hand.

“Jinx I-“

“Who did this to you?”

Her playful demeanor is gone. Her voice is serous.

“Give me a name.” She demands.

“No it’s not like that…. No one hurt me.”

She looks at you confused.

“Then what…. I…. I don’t understand—“

“Accident…. It was an accident. I was making you a knife…and working to fast, trying to finish before you got back….. then the knife slipped and well-“

You stop rambling. Holding up your injured hand.

Jinx becomes lighter, letting out a breath.

“Aww….you made me a knife..”

“Surpriseeee…..”

You say, rubbing the back of your neck with your good hand.

Jinx is standing right in front of you. A soft smile on her lips.

“Y’know that’s really sweet of you trinket…”

She tucks a strain of hair behind your ear making you blush.

“Now….. let’s get you fixed up!”

Her eyes start darting around.

“There should be a first aid kit somewhereeeee.” She begins looking under tables.

“Aaaha! Found it!”

You look at the small container. It had neon paint splattered all over it.

You jump up on the work table.

“Okay. Let me see what I’m working with.”

She motions to your hand.

“I mean, It’s not that bad. I think I can just do it myself.”

You say looking at the bandages.

“Don’t be silly. I promise I’ll be careful. Okay.”

You pause, before nodding, giving her your hand.

“I trust you Jinx.” Your voice just above a whisper. Jinx’s cheeks flushed at your words.

She looks down at your injury.

The cut wasn’t too deep, but it ran across your thumb to the back of your hand.

“Soooo, we’ve definitely got to clean this. Which is gonna sting like pretty bad.”

You nod. Ready.

Jinx pours a liquid over your hand.

You slightly wince at the sensation.

She starts to softly blow on the wound. Which helped soothe the nerves.

“There we go….all clean.”

She glances up at you briefly.

“You know….you have really pretty hands.”

Her voice is soft as she holds your hands with care.

“Jinx.” you roll your eyes.

“What…..you do.”

She smirks.

“Now we just have to rap it up!”

She grabs some gauze and begins to carefully rap it around your hand.

“When I’m all done I’m gonna draw tiny little doodles all over hand.”

She says, poking your hand.

You let out a little laugh. Watching her wind the gauze around and around your hand.

“And there we go, all better! You’re as good as new!”

She chuckles lightly.

“How do you feel?”

“It feels a lot better! Thank you doctor Jinx.”

You say in a funny voice, as you begin to stand.

“Oh wait wait wait…. I almost forgot.”

She looks at you mischief in her eyes once again.

“I gotta kiss it better. Otherwise, all my hard work will have been for nothing.”

You pause. Before deciding to play along.

“Well, we can’t have that. My hand might fall off or something as a result.”

You look closely at your bandaged hand.

“Exactly!”

She holds your injured hand up kissing it softly.

“Oh and aw…give me the other one too.”She kisses your other hand.

“And just to be safe.” She gets up on her tiptoes kissing your cheek. And then the other one.

You are a blushing mess at this point.

“And who can forget……”

Her lips meet yours in a sweet kiss.

You can’t help but smile.

“You know I really love you right?”

You say, pulling away just enough to look into her eyes. You want her to know you mean it.

She nods. Putting her forehead to yours.

“I love you too my little trinket.”

I was giggling to myself about how it's funny that Mephiles kinda looks like a Sonadow fankid. Yknow, looks like Shadow but has the blue stripes and green eyes of Sonic.

But then I thought, a Sonadow child that is a reincarnation of Mephiles. In Sonic X Shadow Generations he DID say he wanted to exist. Wellllll why not give him what he wants? In the funniest way imaginable.

Sorry I had to share the idea just because it made me laugh hehe. Idk maybe I'll use it for something. I've already got some fun ideas in mind

The wind hit my face hard every time I pushed my body forward to accelerate. I felt the thrill rush through me like electricity, but it couldn't compare to the feeling I got from admiring that beautiful orange hair so magnificent, like the sun during sunset, her figure dressed in two different shades of pink, and not to mention those eyes, green like a fairytale forest, you could only admire every aspect of the beautiful girl who passed you so effortlessly. She, on the other hand, offered you a loving smile, which only made you more enchanted by her sweet expression but who could blame you? You were completely smitten with your girlfriend, even though you could see her beautiful features any other day, you engraved them in your memory as if it were the last day you’d see her and still, her charm kept surprising you as if it were the first time you saw her.

Both heroes were playfully competing to see who could pass the other, diving into the city, flying in circles between the skyscrapers, letting themselves get carried away by the pure joy of being together. Without even noticing, they began to rise, drifting away from the noise of the city, until it became a distant murmur and only the two of them and the clouds remained.

Atom Eve passed the young Grayson once again. The redhead turned her body, now flying back just to like her girlfriend did with her, admire that laugh showing her teeth alongside that tri-colored suit of yellow, blue, and black, they were made for each other.

Then suddenly, Atom Eve was caught off guard when a gust of wind pulled her out of her thoughts, it was her girlfriend, who had just overtaken her in an instant, ꒰Y/N꒱ extended her arms, a big smile on her face, and suddenly started spinning around like a human helicopter blade. Her arms held firm, legs together, and her body did a perfect horizontal spin. Then she stopped mid-spin, stabilized her flight, and continued forward, not without first turning to look back at Eve, who was only a few meters away, still flying backward.

─── “So, what was that? Were you trying to impress me?” ─── asked the pink-suit hero playfully, still flying backward, propelled by a burst of pink matter.

─── “Did it work?” ─── asked the Grayson with an excited smile like that of a small child

─── “Maybe” ─── Eve said, raising an eyebrow while keeping her smile. ─── “If you didn’t use the same tricks, maybe you’d impress me.”

The girl in the tri-colored suit laughed as she began to speed up again.

─── “Well then, pay attention babe!, this one will do it!” ─── I raised my fist and in a short time, she already created a large distance between her and Eve, who could only deny fun for the actions of his partner, Eve slowed down to turn around and now face forward, better able to admire her girlfriend, who was so eager to impress her.

꒰Y/N꒱ looked over her shoulder at the young wilkins, who now had her eyes very attentive to his moves, she can't help smile at her lovingly but suddenly my pink girl's expression turned between confusion and seriousness, just as she stopped flying and raised her hands, ꒰Y/N꒱ could faintly hear her sweet voice calling her name, since the whispers of the wind along with the distance made it difficult for him to hear her clearly, it was precisely that which erased his playful smile and made him look up in front of him, quickly finding himself a few inches from a pink matter barrier and behind it was a large green portal floating in the air.

I didn’t even have time to slow down or stop; within seconds, I was already breaking through Eve’s barrier and entering the portal, not even poor Eve had time to think of something to stop your flight, and by the time she did, you were already being swallowed by the portal. Eve hurried to fly after you, hoping she could at least still pull you back but the portal soon vanished with the wind

4 months was the time you had been trapped in another dimension that wasn’t as developed as yours in certain aspects, and even more so since you were in the year 2012., besides, it seemed like heroes didn’t exist, you found this out the bad way, when after going from a fresh morning to a barely starry night once you crossed the portal, you didn’t notice anything strange, After a short time wandering around, it became clear you were in New York.

You had the theory of just having been transported to another place in a different time, but with all the things you were seeing, maybe you were in an alternate universe, Your first thought was that you could go to the base of the  Guardians of the Globe and search for Robot to help you with your situation, or even go to your girlfriend Eve’s house though you couldn’t be sure she was still your girlfriend in this universe, nor could you be sure this was just an alteration of your universe.

In the end, you found nothing, no headquarters, no Eve’s house, not even yours, as a last resort, you thought about flying into space If you could find some help, but you weren’t sure what you’d run into up there. At the end you decided to return to New York, just to be at the same point where you came out of the portal. You had a faint hope it would open again.

Still, you had to think of something, since you had not even a single clue of when the portal would open again or if it even would so you opted to get some kind of job that wouldn’t ask for your birth records, ID, school certificate, or why you were wearing a three-coloured suit.

Well, let’s say you were lucky enough to meet Mr. Murakami!

Oh, that good man saved your life, he gave you a job without asking many questions and of course, his total blindness didn’t allow him to, even you had to come up with a story to cover up the fact that you didn’t even have a house, family, clothes, or a reason why you weren’t going to school, He was extremely supportive and honestly a bit naive awakened in you the need to protect the older man and how not? He even managed to find you an apartment to stay in for a while before they started charging you rent, He gave you a good paid so you could afford clothes, basic hygiene products, food, and every now and then you’d treat yourself to a little comic, too bad they didn’t have Seance Dog here.

─── “Good night, Mr. Murakami! Sleep well” ─── I was getting off early from my full-time shift, since of course I wasn’t going to school, that gave me more free time, so I decided to spend it working extra hours, I was starting to save money to attend school, although that decision was still uncertain.

─── “You too ꒰Y/N꒱, remember to be careful on the streets at this hour” ─── the man said goodbye to me near the door, his hand resting on the frame.

─── “Yes! Don’t worry about me, have a lovely night!” ─── I walked away little by little from the shop and waved goodbye with my hand but I quickly lowered it in embarrassment how absentminded did I have to be to wave like that to a blind man? I just kept walking toward my apartment.

I continued walking calmly, certainly lost in my thoughts. I was worried something might be happening while I was here just idling around, ¿How much time was passing in my universe? ¿Was Mom okay? She was already depressed by the truth Dad was hiding from her. I don’t want to imagine how she must be now that I just disappeared flying, ¿How was Eve? ¿Was she still worried about me? The fear haunted me that so much time might be passing that she could have forgotten about me, ¿Would William forget about me too? I know our time had already passed, but I still worried about how Amber was doing, Not just them, ¿How were doing Rex and the rest of the Teen Team now the New Guardians of the Globe?

I sighed at my thoughts, mentally reminding myself that I had to stay positive. I hadn’t noticed there was an older man walking in front of me with a red-haired girl I assumed was his daughter. Seeing that hair color made me think of Eve, and I ended up speeding up my steps just enough to pass them easily, I really needed some rest. I ended up turning onto a street where a single Street light seemed to be the only one working, my steps slowed as I started feeling strange, like something wasn’t right. That’s when a carelessly driven van came to a sudden stop almost in front of me, and I saw two suited men get out, walking right past me. I stood there, confused, almost ready to ignore it but hearing panicked screams put me on alert Almost instantly, I turned to see where the screams were coming from, only to end up watching the same people I had just passed now being cornered by both suited men, For a moment, just one, end up connecting looks with the girl I could see several emotions mixed in those blue eyes: fear, panic, confusion.

I need to do something, I had to, because I wasn’t going to stand there and do nothing, No matter how strong those guys might be, it was my duty to protect the weaker ones. Because I am—

Dragon babysitting Shanks and Buggy as kids will forever be an idea I love. Also, think it would be hilarious if neither Shanks nor Buggy realised that the Dragon was the one babysitting them.

Buggy only figured it out after Crocodile and Dragon got back together and had to spend time with them. Dragon would know stuff that he only happened with the marine that Roger let babysit him. Asking how the fuck Dragon knows that information, Dragon just looking at him slightly confused. "I babysit you and Shanks as kids." And that's when it clicked for Buggy.

Shanks has still not figured it out.

" Here put this on around your neck. Temporary fix but when I saw the weather this morning I rolled up a wet towel incase"

Bucky slips the frozen towel around his neck, grimacing a little before nodding.

" How much longer I gotta do this?"

" Atleast one more hour then we can head home"

Peter got on his tip toes and gave Bucky a small kiss.

" Now. Mr. Easter Bunny. Go find some eggs with the kids"

Bucky leans back down and gives Peter a kiss before stepping back and putting back on the large Easter Bunny head.

" The things I do for you."

" It's for a good cause and the kids love it! Plus you love me"

" Yeah. I do love you. Alright. 1 hr then I'm running"

Peter laughs and nods and watches as he leaves. He lifts another tray full of drinks to take outside.

" Hey kid. I thought you said you were brining Buckaroo for the fund raiser?"

" Oh he is here. Just left the kitchen to head back out. I just came in to get more drinks to put out since it's so hot today."

Tony stared at Peter before looking out where he came from then back.

" Murder Bunny is gonna be his new nickname, how did you convince . No don't tell me. My heart isn't strong enough. Couldnt get Thor again?."

Peter laughs and shakes his head.

" No. But he inspired a lot of the online shop for the FEAST fund raiser. An Easter Bunny holding Thors hammer screaming " I am Worthy!" Was a huge hit. Even if we don't make our goal the mech for that keeping us afloat."

" Yeah that was fun weekend minus the screaming kids"

Summary: Vi, Caitlyn, Jinx, Isha, and reader are having a movie night.

“I don’t know how to get this stupid thing to work.” Vi shouted annoyed. She’d been trying to get the movie projector to turn on for over an hour now.

Caitlyn was trying to find some “clean” pillows and blankets.

You roll your eyes at Vi’s words, watching her from a distance push random buttons. You knew she meant well, but she just wasn’t really good at tech stuff.

“Just wait till Jinx gets back with the movies.” You shout back to Vi from the other room.

You and Isha were making movie snacks.

“Like I’ve been saying this whole time.” You mumble the last part under your breath.

Isha giggled. Clearly catching your comment. You ruffle Isha’s hair, giggling slightly as well.

“Fiiiiine.” You hear Vi hit the couch.

Caitlyn returns with the pillows and blankets.

“Okay. These smell the best out of the pile.”

She says hitting Vi with a pillow. Laughing softly. Vi looks up at her surprised. Before retaliating. Hitting her back and laughing.

You and Isha both look at the time. Both of you were missing Jinx. She’d only been gone for a couple of hours. But still, you both agreed it felt waaaay longer.

You let out a deep sigh.

“Okay.” You look down at Isha in a playful demeanor.

“Last thing we need is some popcorn seasoning. And then our fortress of snacks will be complete.”

You say in a funny voice. Making Isha laugh.

You reach up to grab the seasoning when-

“Guess who?”

Hands come over your eyes.

It was Jinx.

“Hmmm……”

You say, playing along with the biggest smile on your face.

“Is it…….. Vi?”

“Nope.”

“What about some trouble maker off the street?”

“Oooo…getting warmer.”

She chuckles.

You grab her hands spinning around.

“Hey’a toots!”

“Jinx!” You punch her arm playfully.

Before giving her a hug.

“Wow! I wasn’t gone that long.”

She smiles. Leaning into the hug. You knew she loved the attention. Isha runs up hugging Jinx from behind.

“Isha!”

She turns around doing there fun handshake.

“Grab all the snacks kid. We got some movies to watch.” Jinx says excitedly, making her way over to the projector.

“Hey, Jinx.” Vi sits up.

“Sooo I don’t know why, but I couldn’t get that stupid thing to start.” She says motioning to the projector.

“Welllll…….did you try…. I don’t know…….”

Jinx pauses, picking up a tiny cord hiding underneath the couch. She then plugs it in to an outlet.

“Plugging it in?”

Light immediately comes out of the projector.

Jinx turns around folding her arms looking at Vi with a “you’re an idiot” look on her face.

Vi’s mouth is kinda open. Caitlyn moves closer to Vi on the couch.

“Don’t worry. I still love you. Even if you are a complete imbecile.” She leans in giving her a kiss on the cheek.

You and Isha bring in the rest of the snacks. Jinx puts the first movie in. It was something about a killer shark. Jinx had mentioned.

You decide to nestle yourself down in the blankets and pillows on the floor, since Vi and Caitlyn were clearly comfortable on the couch.

Isha follows your lead sitting right beside you, grabbing your arm and putting it around her. You chuckle at her cuteness. Letting her snuggle in.

Jinx starts the movie before joining you both on the floor.

She sits on your other side, grabbing a blanket and rapping it around you both.

You all snuggle in together.

-little time skip-

You and Isha jump as the huge shark on the screen pulled another swimmer down under the water. Jinx chuckles at you both, rapping her arms around you. Holding you tight.

“Is this classic too much for you toots?”

You nudge her playfully.

“This is actually like my favorite movie.”

You whisper back.

You look over at Isha, feeling her move around.

Isha had given up on hiding behind a blanket and turned her head towards you, using your arm instead.

“Hey, you okay kid?”

You whispered.

She nods while still holding your arm over her eyes.

“It doesn’t even look that real.”

Caitlyn announced. Sounding annoyed.

Vi pats her head. Whispering.

“Then why did you almost jump in my lap cupcake?”

You could see the blush on Caitlyn’s cheeks even on the floor.

Jinx rolled her eyes.

As the movie goes on.

You slightly turn your head to look at Jinx. You admire the way the light from the movie bounced around on Jinx’s face. The way her eyes focused on the screen.

“You know you’re beautiful right?” You whisper in her ear.

She looks at you, grabbing your hand under the blankets, squeezing it lightly.

“Not as beautiful as you are trinket.” She whispered back.

You could see the love in her eyes.

Jinx looks over at Isha….

(Still hiding behind your arm.)

Before leaning closer to your face. Giving you a kiss. She pulls back. Cupping your cheek.

“I want you to stay here forever.” Her voice is soft but serious.

You smile. Rubbing your thumb softly against her hand.

“I’m not going anywhere.”

Guess who's idea gremlins are back

So it's about the linked universe again

So I recently got Cartethiya and something about her and the Danny phantom brainrot rn made me make this

So:

-The reader is from another world

-back story before she met the links:

She was plopped in a completely different Zelda after dying in her og world

This Zelda is fused with the dead in a way

Like the heroes originally failed, similar to botw but link is dead dead

So centuries passed with them barely holding Ganon back until reader appears because Hylia shenanigans

And how reader gets involved is through almost dying

Again

Reader appeared in a forest while a fucking sword pierced through their heart for whatever

They pulled it out, stumbled for a bit, then collapsed

A nearby great fairy or something along those lines appears and heals her in exchange for her freeing/saving a nearby village they were protecting but can't cause their too weak to do it

Reader heads to free the village because they feel they have to

Shenanigans insue

In order to properly deal with the monster, reader goes to a weapon, aka master sword unbeknownst to them

Here, reader meets ghost link after completing the trial and he asks for their help in saving hyrule

Reader accepts after some hesitation because they might be able to get home if they go on this journey

Throughout the journey, they meet the spirits of the other fallen (aka, characters like the champions,) and yada yada

They also bond with ghost!link who's accompanied them both to help in their journey and to also wield the master sword since reader can't cause she's technically not the chosen one but is?

Anyway, his there and over time you both learn to work together, you allow him to take over your body to use the master sword properly and he teaches you to fight

This whole body hosting thing can also happen with the other falled

When you finally have everyone and you got a weapon blueprint that can deal with the dead, you head out to look for the three goddesses blessings or powera for this weapon

You get two of them but the third is with Ganon because of corruption powers, yada yada

So you head there but in order to obtain her power, you face a trial

Idk why but I feel like you got cursed by Ganon so when you face her, the curse flares up and let's say it's everything you hate about yourself

She uses that against you and eventually, you use it to your advantage somehow

Like you start accepting yourself and reinforce ideals/who you are

And when you finally and firmly do, she grants you her power and with all three goddesses powers, ignoring Hylia for now, it converges in theto the mastersword

But in order for it to properly work, you jave to make a sacrifice

You have an idea of it but don't tell the others because you're scared of it

So when the time comes for you to defeat Ganon for at least a few centuries or millennia, you sacrifice your ability to return home and half of your essence(essentially what makes something living, like a soul but but really) and now your half-ghost, half human

With that, you all defeat Ganon and the souls return back into the land expect a few. Link and Zelda

Zelda because of her sense of duty to her people and Links desire for adventuring and heavy want(I wanna say duty) to help Zelda

So they stick around with you as you explore and help people now and then but for anything major, given your connection to the dead, you're often called for political meetings which is horrendous

Anyway, eventually you meet the other links and shenanigans insue

-i definitely want to add the shock of the change to the mastersword to the story and also the shock that the hero originally, somewhat, failed, similar to wild

-have the two links bond in a fucked way because of that

-ALSO want to add the reveal of the reader technically being a hero in a fight that includes monster(ghost) from her world

-like you'll whil out the reformed mastersword and they question you and then you explain
