I have finally finished setting up my (new) Veronaville save which means I can start actually playing it. Have two random pictures of Bianca and Cyd in celebration.

The only other thing I might add later on is a tropical vacation hood - if I find one that I like that is, because literally no one makes custom tropical vacation hoods (ones that I like at least). It’s just inundated with custom far east and mountain vacation hoods 💀

Otherwise, I’ll just add maxis Twikki Island. For far east and mountain, I added JoShima and Boldrewood.

VeronaHills, Round Seven: Weiss

Years ago, Skye chose his name to signify that the sky was the limit once his gender was affirmed.

Going to ground wasn't the plan at the time. Skye thought his introversion might be solved when he transitioned; alas, the comfort of his shell remained perfectly cosy, and he had to concede that was a part of him. So he listened to the whispers of the forest as he healed, and soon enough, the branches stretched out their limbs to welcome him within. Sooner again, he grew his children. Within four walls of a human-constructed cottage, they looked so tall and lush; plucked from a piece of paradise.

Penny was going to show Cyd that very slice - her hometown, as a human would say. Skye could only hope he would find beauty among the ruins, embiggened over centuries with verdure.

"I want you to see where my magic comes from," Penny said, as she led Cyd up a path of untrodden leaves. "If we're going to be together, I don't want you to be scared of it." Of me, she added silently.

Ruby bushels loomed over lonely columns, and every blade of grass afoot displayed a defiant show of green that made Cyd feel ashamed of his rubbish bin. A few strides away, Penny stared into a glistening pool, guarded by a bright, sculpted feminine figure.

"Hm. It's strong today."

Cyd turned to see Penny's thick black hair slipping away and crumbling into petals in the breeze, revealing a shock of green leaves. She met his eyes and smiled. "Don't worry, it grows back pretty fast."

Hands and lips met passionately within the faerie ring. Cyd wasn't afraid. He did, however, overhear another visitor standing in the ring.

"Is this where it happened?" Claudio asked Oberon, flatly.

The faerie king was silent for a moment. Then: "Claudio, please. We're interrupting a lover's ritual. Let's leave them be."

Cyd felt Penny's hand dance up his collarbone. Yes - this lover's ritual was going to continue - for years to come.

Uberhood (74) - Roseland

Cyd Roseland and Jessica Picaso finally went on a romantic date. They liked each other for quite some time now, but Jessica always kept her distance. She never really had the want to go out, meet Cyd, or anyone for that matter. In my opinion she was just too busy and distracted with her divorce from Matthew. That's why it relieves me so much to see her slowly open up to Cyd. She could really use some fun and happiness right now. Their date even turned to a Dream Date. 🌹 Later that evening:

Jessica: "Marry me. Plis? C:" 😂😂😂

Let's not go overboard there Jessica. 😅

Roseland family

Cyd and Porthos are the founders of the Dognatchi technique, which introduced the world to canine physical training through mental discipline. Together, they prove that Sims and dogs can achieve amazing and inspirational results!

Cyd Roseland's world revolves around two things: physical training and his sidekick Porthos. He believes that a healthy body promotes a long Sim life and will prove it through example.

There's relatively little going on in the Roseland household, besides the fact that Cyd found a relationship with Brandi Broke. It doesn't seem either is looking to (re)marry though.

And this my friends, is why you shouldn’t play this game on mute and be looking down at your phone at the same time. Because a burglar will come and set your garage on fire. And then proceed to catch on fire.

Also I would like to say that after the first cop dipped after the burglar caught on fire, a second one came and fined Cyd $500 😐

Fuck around and find out bitch. That’s what you get. I don’t have a cemetery yet on either side of town so Cyd gets to have this grave as a decoration in his backyard for a bit until I get one.

In happier news, lil’ baby Atlas was born the day before this whole fiasco. He managed to get red hair even with the maxis generics inheritance system :]

VeronaHills, Round Eight: Roseland

Cyd and Alex both agreed: Penny was a green light in their lives.

The autumn air felt thick with honeysuckle when she visited their trailer; butterflies emerged out of seasonal turn. Alex couldn't even feel too concerned when literal criminal mastermind Rich Mann strolled by - Penny would distil any socialising to its friendliest form.

Suppose I'll hear from him later, Alex thought as Rich tipped his hat towards her. He would have been across her piracy and subsequent flying under the radar, and likely wanted to confirm the sightings of a certain redheaded, gold-pierced troublemaker of the underworld. No matter. This village was too small to bother with complete concealment.

Cyd and Penny excused themselves for a jaunt up the hill, but this time, Cyd led Penny by the hand. The flourishing flora witnessed their engagement; when the ring was produced and Penny lit up, the trees seemed to rustle with approval. Cyd wasn't afraid of this sort of phenomena. He wanted to experience nature by Penny's side for the rest of their lives, and he declared it to the crumbled stone around them that once comprised a castle.

There was no table in the woods for a royal banquet, so Cyd drove Penny to the city for a botanical dining experience to celebrate. At one point during the drive, she said:

"My face hurts from smiling. I didn't know it could do that."

A beautiful feeling for a beautiful faerie.
