Lydia "-oh, um. I proposed to Ash."

Elise "Y-you did?"

Lydia "Mmm. When I came here, I didn't have... family or friends. So when I met your dad, it felt like he was all there was."

Elise "Just like I feel about Tristan!"

Lydia "But... that can't be true, Elise. You have your sisters-"

Elise "It's not the same."

Lydia "O-of course it's not, but you've been always together. You even learned to walk about the same time."

Elise "You don't get it, mommy. Daph and Amy don't understand how it feels to need sunshine. Or never sleeping."

Lydia "...I'm sorry that I can't understand either, sweetheart."

Elise "But that's why me and Tristan are meant to be! We understand each other perfectly."

Elise "...I just miss him so much, mom."

Lydia "I can understand that, at least! But... I'm sure Tristan would like you to have a good time while he's away. Wouldn't you have more to tell him when he calls, too?"

Elise "I-I guess. I hadn't thought it that way." Tristan has already joined all those clubs and he said the classes will start soon, too. And I'm just home... does he think I'm boring?

Household: Rhymes

During the last round, the triplets reached adulthood and had no idea what to do then. Luckily for them, Lydia and Ash weren't rushing them out of the house.

Lydia especially only seemed relieved to have the family together for a while longer. She gifted Daphne a flower-arranging table so that Daphne would have something to do for the time being.

Since then, Elise's boyfriend Tristan left for university, leaving Elise heartbroken for being apart. And, without her sisters knowing, Amelia applied for the leftover seat at the university, even though she was told it's unlikely for someone with as low grades to get a scholarship.

A quick and random gameplay update to mourn the passing of the NPC Peter Sims, who was a walkby that Joaco invited in. I completely lost track of you until Joaco stopped eating to "sigh" about your drowning. How you drowned is beyond me since there is a ladder right in front of you, but I guess it was cool to see this animation for the first in years (seriously, drowning pretty much doesn't happen in my game).
