Legacy Update: Gen 2 Heir Vote 💕

Gen 1 is finally done! we made money, made mistakes, and somehow survived toddlerhood without deleting the save. Now it’s time to pick who gets to deal with everything next.

The future of this legacy rests in the tiny hands of two children: Sable and Aria. One of them will lead Gen 2. The other will probably start a garden and develop resentment.

The Quick Check-In Terminal just got a fresh update! I’ve added 6 new color swatches so you can better match it with your builds — whether it’s a cozy café, a modern check-in desk, or a busy little shop. 🖥️🎨

This update also includes a surface-compatible version, which lets you place the terminal on counters and tables for a cleaner, more realistic setup.

🔧 Quick Fix Update – Greenhouse Haven Reloaded Pt. 1

Hey everyone! Just a quick update for those of you who downloaded Part 1 of Greenhouse Haven Reloaded 💚

I've made a couple of important fixes and optimizations:

🌿 Gazebo of Noble Intentions – Fixed the shadow LOD — it now renders correctly and looks perfect in-game!

🪓 Sickle’n’Destroy – Fixed shadow LODs – Reworked normal and specular maps for much better lighting response – Tweaked a couple of minor texture issues — now everything is smoother and cleaner ✨

🆕 I’ll reupload these two items separately with the label FIXED, so you can easily re-download them without grabbing the whole set again. I’ll also update the original .zip and main post files, so everything stays organized.

Even though I got (almost) no interactions in here, I got 5 downloads in my easter creation, and I got really happy because it means there's someone still there! I do miss when I had the help of @sims4updates (that I saw that is inactive since 2022 - and I was since 2020 - I hope everything is well, though!) It was a huge help to have my creations there, such a useful cc related website and also useful for new creators to promote their content.

For those who don't know me, I've been a creator since 2016, and a player since 2002(?) I guess. I used to add ad shorteners to my tray files links to get some profit, but the truth is I never withdrew the money back then and now the ad shorteners do not exist anymore, so besides losing all my download links, I also lost the money I could have made. It was not a big amount.

Nowadays, life is different. I'm close to 30 years old and currently unemployed. In the meantime, I became a translator and finished my master's degree at the end of November 2024, but finding a job hasn't been an easy task, so I saw myself forced to search for something not related to the area.

Back in February, I was feeling low since life didn't go out like I imagined. I was feeling late for something that doesn't even exist, but society expectations tend to make you feel this way. Don't take me wrong, I'm very blessed and thankful/for my health, beloved family (thank god for having the parents I do) and friends! It's just the usual pressure of this stage of finishing your specialisation and ending up understanding that life doesn't have all the opportunities waiting for you behind the door, you gotta go search and fight for it, with a lot of patience and gratefulness for the little things that are the greatest in the end. I think I get it now.

Enough of philosophy, that time made me want to get back to the game that have been with me almost my whole life. I started everything again from scratch, I had a lot of fun discovering new custom content and finding old one and starting my mods folder from 0. I found amazing new creators (at least new to me since that year), such as @pinkbox-anye, @simmerkate, @lynxsimz, @laskrillz and many more. On the other hand, I also got nostalgic seeing some of my favourite cc creators are inactive at the moment, like @dreamteamsims, @mxims, @slox and others (but of course, this game won't suit all the moments in our life).

So, here we are again, willing to update and then reupload my old creations. I will try to find all the cc links to make it available for download. I am also eager to design new creations so that I can make my game a little bit more aesthetic (and yours, if you will). I will start with this one ;)
