House Rebuild & Redecorating – Part 2

So... the house was getting way too small after Barnabáš was born, and I knew it was time for a BIG upgrade! I’ve already shared my obsession with the new green kitchen, but here’s a look at what I’ve done with the rest of the first floor:

✨ Living Room: I kept things simple but stylish with a cozy couch, some tech gadgets, and of course, green accents everywhere! It’s a great space for Maxmilian to chill after long hours in the Tech Guru career.

💪 Gym/Office Combo: A simple, functional space with a desk, treadmill, and just enough decor to keep it from feeling too empty. I had big plans, but... well, I spent way too much money downstairs. 😂

🚪 Hallway: I’m actually really proud of how the hallway turned out! I love adding little details that make it feel more "lived-in," like the hanging clothes in the open wardrobe, the keys by the door, and even a wallet sitting on the shelf. These small touches make the space feel more realistic while still keeping that Sims vibe (and yes, I avoided extreme alpha CC as always!).

As for the second floor... let's just say money ran out quickly after decorating the kids' blue bedrooms (I went all in on them). The bathrooms and bedroom? Uh, yeah… they’re looking a bit sad for now. But hey, at least the kids are happy, right? 😅

I tag anyone that has not done this or would like to do so!  As I am as usual late to the game in playing... It’s just for fun!♥ 

1. How did you two meet? JAKE:  I found this rather, cute and extremely intelligent young man at the Desert Springs Academy. He was studying criminal justice, so I gave him a job. He wanted to be a detective, but he never made it to the police force, I knew he was good, so I snagged him...”

PATRICK: I think I came to your office and applied for an open position as an investigators assistant. You flirted with me until I I finally gave in and went on a date with you...By the way, I never really asked, did you date all your assistants??

JAKE- “Next question, please?”

2. Who is the most jealous of you two? PATRICK: “That would be Jake...if I as much as look or glance at another guy he is...what you looking at?”

JAKE: "Yeah, maybe, but what about that one case we were working and I asked you to flirt with one of the suspects?  Hmmmm?

PATRICK- “Yeah... a murder suspect Jake. How far would that get once he was in prison. That was for work, and he was disgusting.”

3. What are your three favorite physical things about your partner? JAKE; Three??? That’s tough.

PATRICK: “Tough, why?  Can’t you think of three?”

JAKE: No... I mean Yes...there are much more than three, but my favorite is his jaw line.  It is so sexy, and defined. I love a strong jaw.’

PATRICK- “Why do you make everything sexual, Jake...?”

JAKE- “How is that sexual, a strong jaw line is sexy... so what are yours then??”

PATRICK- “His eyes...they are just WOW! His hands.  I have a little bit of a hand fetish, but his are so strong and manly...and then there is his ass.”

JAKE- “Now who is being all sexual?”

4. Who’s more likely to be running late?

PATRICK:"I will admit to it, that is me. Jake is always early...always. He is patient with me though. He doesn’t harass me about being late or running late.”

JAKE- “Trust me, I learnt my lesson regarding that, plus the wait is always worth it...”

5. Who is the most organized and who is the messiest? JAKE: Again, that would be him. His desk looks like a garbage bin. Papers everywhere, pens...hundreds of pens. He also has a pen fetish. I think he collects them.  Empty coffee mugs,, candy wrappers, empty soda cans....  PATRICK- “Okay, I  think they get the idea, Mr. Obsessive-Compulsive

6. Who is the bigger flirt? (flirts the most?) PATRICK: Finally one that he wins...he flirts with anyone, at any given time. And it’s not in spoken form most of the time. It’s a look, or his body language.  Like how he puts one foot in front of the other and kind of lunges a forward as he is standing still...or sitting down with his legs spread out.”

JAKE: Excuse me, that’s not flirting, that is being comfortable...I mean everything is all scrunched up in my pants...”

PATRICK- “It wouldn’t be if you wouldn’t by pants a size smaller than you need. He loves tight pants. Very tight pants.”

JAKE- “And who was the one that said my ass is one of his favorite physical attributes?”

7. Who does the most cooking? JAKE: Moi...he tends to overcook things...or like the one time when he made meatloaf...he left the drain paper in the meat somehow.  Don’t ask me how, but added all the ingredients mixed it with his hands, not realizing there was paper in the loaf of meat and baked it. It just so happened we had guests for dinner that night.  My mother found the first piece that had paper...”

PATRICK: "Your mother needed more fiber in her diet....she was always complaining about irregularity.  And will I ever live that down?”

JAKE- “No.”

8. How do you feel about kids and do you want them? If so how many? PATRICK- “No thanks.”: JAKE-” I did when I was younger, but not now, they are too much work.  And we are on the road a lot. And they are dirty and expensive.” 

9. Who wears the pants in the relationship? JAKE: That would be me, as Patrick hates clothes period. He rarely wears anything when we are home alone.  I mean I am not complaining, not at all...just saying.” PATRICK: Not as much now that we live in a house with all windows and no walls...we need to get blinds by the way.”

10. What’s your partner’s least favorite housework task?

JAKE: He hates all of them.  Again, he likes messes. I can’t deal with it. But we have a housekeeper take care of that. I hate laundry most of all.  We send that out.” PATRICK: "Did I mention his OCD?”

11. What was the first thing you noticed about each other? PATRICK: Again, his eyes.  Just look at them!  Incredible.. JAKE: His smile. His parents put a lot of money in his teeth, and it shows. When he smiles his entire face lights up.

12. What does your partner do that pisses you off? PATRICK: One more time...OCD.

JAKE: Him continually bringing up my OCD.

PATRICK- “Oh...and those disgusting cigarettes, that he no longer smokes thank goodness, he just lights them and lets them burn in the ashtray. WHY??

13. Where’s the craziest/weirdest place you’ve ever had sex? JAKE: At that bar in Ft. Laudersims, in the booth were we were sitting.., what was the name of it? PATRICK- “Adonis. We were both intoxicated, and there were others that were doing the same thing. I mean not with us, but you get the picture.”

14. Do you know your partner’s love language, if yes what is it? JAKE: Yeah, it is pretty obvious, as he goes around naked all the time, so when he is in the mood, it is VERY obvious!” PATRICK- JAKE!!!?? Stop it... He pats my hand, just gently.  I don’t think he is even aware that he does it.

15. Where do you see the 2 of you in 10 years? JAKE: Hopefully still alive.

PATRICK- “Jake...you will only be 52 in ten years.”

JAKE “Yeah, but you will only be 36 in ten years, I am sure you will have given me a heart attack by then...the boy is insatiable.”

PATRICK- “Nothing is sacred to you, is it?”

JAKE- “You are, my love.  You are the most sacred thing in my life...you and your jawline...

📟💚 Not So Berry: Base Game Edition – Generation 9 (Green) 💚📟 Part 1

Currently deep into Gen 9 of my Not So Berry legacy, and wow… this generation has been wild. I'm playing as Maxmilian, and the drama basically writes itself at this point! 😅

🎮 Gen 9 – The Green Generation:

Aspiration: Computer Whiz Career: Tech Guru Traits: Slob, Cheerful, Geek Rules: ✅ Master video gaming and programming skills – Done! ✅ Complete Computer Whiz aspiration – Done! - (For one of the steps, Max had to create an app. And since I’m not the most creative with app names, I went with TokTik —a cheeky nod to TikTok. 😄) 🖥️ Reach level 10 in Tech Guru career – Halfway there! [5/10] ✅ Have 5 good friends and 5 enemies – Check! 🧪 Max mixology skill – Work in progress! [4/10] ✅ Accept every party invite & go out once a week – Yes, and it's been CHAOS!

🎭 Enemy Arc: So Much Fun!

Creating enemies has been so much fun. I joined the Renegades club and made Maxmilian mean to everyone at the gym and pool. My favorite "mean" interactions? "Imply mother is a llama" and "Trick with hand buzzer" — pure mischief! 😂

💕 Family Drama!

Max married his high school sweetheart, Hortenzie, and they had a son, Jett, while still teens. After Max’s parents, Zlatko and Svatoslava, divorced, Hortenzie moved in with Max and Jett to keep the family together. They’re still going strong!

But of course, drama followed: Želmíra, the woman Max’s dad Zlatko was cheating with, started calling Max after Zlatko’s death. Per the rules of this generation, Max can’t reject any proposals to hang out, and… let’s just say that led to two kids with Želmíra: Nicola and Jamison. 😅 Želmíra later married someone else, but the chaos lives on.

Despite everything, Maxmilian and Hortenzie also had another child—Barnabáš. And yes, that name... 😅

Playing with this family has been wild, especially since Hortenzie has the Hostile trait, which means she’s constantly angry. She also seems to always be taking an “angry poop” whenever things get heated. 🤣

🎉 Rule Highlights: No Proposals Rejected!

One of the most chaotic rules this generation is Max not being able to reject any invitations. His mom, Svatoslava, keeps calling him for late-night outings, and they always party until midnight. (Pictured below: Max tearing up the dance floor! 🕺💚)

House Rebuild & Redecorating – Part 1

As Barnabáš is growing up, the family needs more space, so I rebuilt their house from the ground up. I’ll be sharing some pictures soon! Of course, I started (as always) with the kitchen. 😅 Even though I loved my last green-themed kitchen, I decided to try something new this time. Can’t wait to show you all the results!

Here’s a sneak peek of the exterior! I still have a few details to add, but you can already see the whole family standing proudly in front of it. 😄
