You guys asked for it and I was happy to oblige !!! I finally got around to building this Sims 2 eclectic & cozy residential cottage as a match to the Paris Café & Bakery. It was quite a challenge to build a home that had the coziness of a small witches cottage, while still maintaining a mix of modern & Parisian elements. But here we are and its perfect!

Backyard patio, perfect for gardening and grilling.

At last here it is, two builds later, and I think I did a wonderful job! With this open floor concept you can still have that small cottage look, with out it actually feeling like a small cramped cottage. There is plenty of space to entertain, read, and smustle with other sims. The addition of the backyard patio gives you a nice area to garden, grill, and even do some yoga.

The vacation in Granite Falls was going wonderfully for Autumn, Aidan, and their faithful dog Scout. They spent their days having weenie roast parties, playing games, and soaking up the beauty of the great outdoors. However, not everything was perfect for Aidan. With his squeamish trait, he found the bugs and creepy crawlers a bit challenging to deal with. Despite this, his love for Autumn and the fun they were having kept him going.

Autumn: "This weenie roast is amazing! Look at Scout, he's having a blast." Aidan: "Yeah, it's a lot of fun... except for the bugs. I can't stand them." Autumn: "I know, Aidan. Inspired by the iconic Asylum Challenge, but more dynamic and immersive — no scorekeeping, no printables, just pure storytelling chaos.

🎯 Goals:

🌱 Grow your hotel from a grungy trailer park to a luxury resort.

👥 Hire new staff with every renovation milestone.

🏩 Choose from 6 unique hotel types.

😵 Survive chaotic roleplay events that’ll leave your staff in shambles.

Every time your staff builds enough skill, renovate and add a star to your hotel. Then, throw a themed party to promote your upgrade. Aim for a Gold Medal event!

🎭 Cast of Characters

I offer a cast of 8 soap opera characters like klepto maid and diva musician. Whatever characters you choose, I suggest picking aspirations that match their everyday tasks.

For example, manager makes friends and hosts parties, so "Friend Of The World" and "Party Animal" will earn them points fast.

📝Notes:

Switch the community lot before each renovation — or bulldoze and build anew. Your chaos, your call.

Add new roles with your packs (spa guru, baker, celebrity handler…).

Daily tasks stack — don’t reset.

Some events may require switching back to a home lot ("Hotel Dorm").

Sims occasionally refuse paid mentorships — deal with it!

Casino: Dealer, that builds logic and plays with guests at a gambling floor (place card tables and darts).

Restaurant: Chef, that builds gourmet cooking and serves meals at a restaurant (place the best kitchen).

Glamp: Ranger, that builds fishing skill and mentors guests at a lake.

Wedding: Musician, that builds piano skill and plays for guests at a banquet hall (wedding arch, buffet).

Coding camp: Programmer, that builds programming skill and mentors guests at a classroom (place computers and skill books).
