You know I get the whole thing of ‘People becoming a god by rejecting/transcending their humanity ,’ that villains tend to do. 

But here is a concept I want to see more of: 'people becoming a god by Embracing their humanity.’

What is a god? Is it a being of boundless power? Of infinite knowledge? Of Pure intention? While that seems to be an appropriate definition, it is anything but paradoxical. Can something really be called “boundless” when you can bind a description to it? Is it really all knowing, if it can’t find the words to describe itself? And even if there is such a thing as true purity, then all that does is cut itself off from everything else. Nothing is perfect, therefore gods do not want to be perfect.

Godhood is something that you can not describe as one thing, and humanity is not different. People two people are the same, yet some people are very much alike one another. You can’t ‘Reject’ or even ‘Transcend’ your humanity, that is the one thing no-one can never sever from you. “Embracing all of your evil desires” Will only lead doing things that even you don’t want to. “Discarding all of your sins” Is merely but a balancing act that will always lead you to tip the scale to a direction you think is righteous.

Instead, know who you are, know what you like and do not like. Whether you are as stubborn as a rock, or as formless as the wind, there is is a seed inside of you. What flowers will bloom when you allow that seed to grow, and grow, and grow, and grow? If you become the you that you truly are, then will you grow into a tree that rises taller than Yggdrasil. Use the your Roots and destroy the path that you were “Fated” to walk on! Grow fruit that will feeds billions, and starve the gods of hunger! Block out the sun with your leaves so that Death will no longer be able to find you!

This concept is so much more interesting than, “Ew hoomanity sinfol,” or “I’m too edgy everyone is boring.”
