Tweede weekend

Het tweede weekend van onze stage was zoals het eerste zeer geslaagd!

Vrijdag zijn we na ons werk met de groep een hapje gaan eten bij “Paddock” in Oranjestad. Een leuk eetcafé met zicht op zee. Daarna kregen we ook even de tijd om souveniertjes te kopen voor het thuisfront.

Zaterdag hebben we (op vraag van mij) Boca Catalina en Tres Trapi gezocht. Twee mooie stranden waar je naar verluid goed kan snorkelen, wat ook de waarheid bleek te zijn. Net zoals op Palm Island heb ik er honderden tropische visjes gespot. Een echte ervaring! S’avonds hebben we met mevrouw Noyens een stapje in de wereld gezet. We hebben Bugaloe bezocht, een leuke club waar de sfeer top was.

Zondag was alweer de laatste dag van ons weekend dus zijn we vroeg opgestaan om zo alles uit onze dag te kunnen halen. Eerst zijn we naar San Nicolaas gereden om het de kunstwerken van graffiti te bekijken. Daarna ging onze trip verder naar Grapefield beach waar we kitesurfers aan het werk zagen. Van daaruit reden we naar Baby Beach. Onze laatste stop was aan Mangel Halto, een strand waar we nog niet waren geweest, het was super mooi!

I'm a student from Sint-Maria Geel, and guess what? On May 4th, I'm off on a super cool adventure to Zadar, Croatia! It's still a month away, but I had to post something about it already. Weekend!

Het weekend staat alweer voor de deur en ik kan niet wachten om weer naar de prachtig helderblauwe wateren te trekken en er op het strand te gaan liggen!

Eerder deze week hebben we afscheid moeten nemen van meneer Pareijn. Hij is na iets meer dan een week terug richting het stadhuis en uiteraard ook naar het Sint-Maria getrokken :))

Het verbaast me echt hoe snel de tijd hier gaat. We gaan het tweede deel evenveel plezier maken als in het eerste deel van onze stage!

Yesterday we had a guide guide us through Valencia, we got to learn a lot about the history of Valencia. visiting the old river bed and going through the old city walls Finishing in the  Iglesia de San Juan del Hospital church the oldest church in Valencia.
