It might be middle of winter but it was sunny so i had to go for a hike and take a dip. And honestly not as cold as i thought it was but the warm sun was very pleasant.

Half Marathon #2 completed ✅️1:41:38. Bit slower than last week, but it was a trail race with 1'000 feet of elevation gain, so I think I'll take it as a win.

Absolutely amazing views, great food, and a hot springs pool I couldn't get enough of. Not pictured are the caves the motel had, also with a huge spring fed pool. It was dark and warm and very private! Absolutely loved just recovering in the warm water au natural:)

The night after the race, I was lucky enough to sit in the outdoor pool as a storm rolled in, and it was the best feeling. Cooling rain and steamy water is hard to beat.

I have a month of recovery before my next race, another trail half marathon. To lots of yoga, carbs, and a few more well-deserved soaks!
