Do I need more clothes? No, probably not.

But I've got all these squares now. And I did math and adjusted my skirt pattern. And the bodice pieces are already cut out.

And, and... I would have to turn these into an actual quilt if I don't, and I'm pretty much out of materials to do that.

Retraining

Ashton Inspirion was one of those guys who never got out. He lived in a different worldâŚthe virtual world. He was always gaming, tinkering with his computer, isolated from the rest of school.
Virtual learning suited him, so he signed up for a class called 'Retraining'. He thought it'd be an easy CS course, especially since it was filled with a bunch of ditzy Sigma Lambda Tau sorority girls. It was different that he expected. More of a virtual reality concept where he had to create and develop a model.

All the other girls in class were building hot bimbo models. So Ashton thought he'd try it. He built up his online wardrobe with pink, tight fitting clothes. Changed his hair to be long and blonde. Even discovered how to hack the NSFW settings and give himself the biggest set of fake tits and lips that seemed possible.
The other girls LOVED him for that and started sharing tips and tricks. Ashton had never had friendsâŚlet alone BFFsâŚand started to really get into the role. Spending more time in the game than any before. Really focusing on making 'Ashli' dim and ditzy and doll-like.
He found it easier the deeper it got into the system. Controlling his character using a full-body VR set built by SluTech that was a required part of the course. Using voice inputs to say 'Um' and 'Like' a lot for a valley-girl speech pattern. Walking with a wiggle and arms akimbo to get the perfect bimbo gait down. It became easier to develop Ashli by just being Ashli.

Little did the student know all-consuming the course really was. Outside the game, VR headset finally taken off her long blonde hair, Ashli 'AI' Insipid stared blankly at a screen. She was pretty sure she had logged out. But she was staring at her character. The plump, pouty pink lips. The cute pink top. The dumb ditzy look. Was this the gameâŚor real life?
The truth was too much for the dumbed down doll to process. The virtual model was a role model for how she transformed. Her big fake tits were now real. She had been reprogrammed, turned into her perfect image.
Even if she could comprehend the changes, it didn't matter. All Ashli cared about was that she was late to meet her BFFs! So instead of slipping on the headset, she slipped on a cute skirt and some stripper heels, and trotted over to SLT with a wiggle and a giggle. Just like she had been retrained.

Hi !!! How r u pooks :3
Ignore this if u haven't played dti but what do you think the L&DS boys' reactions would be to their s/o playing dress to impress and actually raging at it like verbally LMFAO this game seriously has me TWEAKING bro but I can't stop playing it gigi please free my family đ (hcs plz)
Thanks for reading O_o
Lnds: Dress to impress chaos
Warning: no warning! GN!READER, crack-fic (?)
Author's notes: DTI has me on a chokehold as well pookie.
Zayne:
Surprisingly, Zayne knows about this because of the children in the pediatric ward. A good number of kids have their tablets with them and play the game; to him, it looked like some regular dress-up game. He didn't think much of it and just warned the children to lessen their screen time.
When he arrived home and was taking his shoes off in the foyer, he could hear you complaining about something. The only coherent sentence he heard was, "The theme is Y-THREE-K, NOT Y-TWO-K!" He wondered what you were talking about and who you were mad at, but when he saw you huddled around the coffee table, fashion magazines sprawled all over, and another gadget displaying fashion catalogs, he knew what was up.
"What are you getting so worked up about?" he asked, sitting next to you and placing down a cup of tea after changing into his clothes. He could see that there were figures walking down the runway.
"I don't get how those ugly layering players win first place!"
He was confused by what you meant. The outfits were suitable, donning the familiar attire of the staff at the hospital, particularly scrubs and white skirts that were too short for the protocol. "What's the theme?"
"A doctor or a nurse," you replied. As the screen turned briefly black, Zayne waited in anticipation. The scene changed, and on the podium was a mermaid with neon green wings and a god-awful dress.
You threw your hands up in frustration and wept on his knees. Zayne was dumbfounded. "I hate this game!" he heard your muffled cries on his knees. He patted your head.
He got used to seeing you so engrossed in the game, but he would never get used to your mood swings: one moment, you're insulting children, and the next moment, you're giggling because you won 1st place.
Zayne bought you a VIP pass because he loved seeing your reaction every time, although he isn't really a fan of spending money on in-game currency. But he loves you too much, so he just keeps that thought to himself.
After seeing you play, he watches the kids play as well, occasionally commenting on their choice of clothing. The nurses were pretty confused by his comments because Zayne never really commented on any outfits, much less in a game.
Xavier:
Xavier knows about the game and has tried it once, not getting the premise of it at first. He didn't know how to change patterns or delete the clothes he was wearing, so his first catwalk was a bit of a mess. But here's the thing: Xavier won first place, which made him more confused. He screenshot himself on the podium and sent it to you.
When you got home from work, excited to play with him, he was pouting while looking at his phone. You wondered why and saw that another player was walking around in the same exact fit as your partner's character. Xavier said that he kept on trying to change his outfit, but that one person kept doing the same thing. You decided to give that player a piece of your mind on behalf of your boyfriend.
When you're at work, Xavier will send you links to fashion hacks he sees on social media. "This looks cute; let's try it later," and he's more updated when Gigi is working on something. The codesâXavier knows the codes by heart. He knows them more than he knows the date of your birth.
It was thanks to this game that he likes to go shopping with you to get some inspiration. Surprisingly, he can make a coherent outfit with the ones he sees in the malls.
When you both play together, he likes playing duo, and even if your outfits are unfinished or bad, he gives you 5 stars. But for the rest of the players, he forgets to vote more than half of the timeâyou don't know if it's on purpose or really by accident.
He would occasionally laugh when players fight against one another, especially if you were involved.
He once bought himself the VIP pass, but his outfits still looked too generic for your liking, but you didn't have the heart to complain. Xavier once lost a bet, and now he has to buy you the pass as well.
He once used his work account to comment on some suggestions on Gigi's Twitter, and kids were confused as to why a hunter was commenting on a kids' game. He deleted it soon after, but he amassed a few hundred followers.
Sylus:
He felt nothing about the game at first and thought of it as nothing more than your form of entertainment. It keeps you busy and out of harm's way, but he never once thought that it would cause a rift in your relationship (he's exaggerating).
Sylus would grow annoyed at how you weren't picking up his calls when you were clearly at home, so he sent Mephisto. The little snitch took a picture of you being so engrossed in your game and sent it back to his boss. Sylus was half disgruntled and 100% dumbfounded when he found outâhe was laughing, but he was annoyed. Luke and Kieran were utterly confused.
At midnight, while you worked your way to being a fashion maven, you didn't notice your man sneaking in through the window. Just as you were about to hit pose 11, Sylus yanked your feet and stole your tablet from you.
"No! Give that back!"
"You're not answering my calls because ofâŚthis?" He turned to the tablet, which displayed another player's half-decent outfit for the theme "star."
"What calls?" you turned to your phone. '18 missed calls' and your heart sunk to the floor. Shyly, you turned to him, scratching your head. "Oops?"
He sat down on the edge of your bed. "Why are you so engrossed in a dressing game? Why not dress yourself with all the clothes I gave you?" He nudged to the mountain of paper bags in the corner of your roomâbranded ones, too.
"Because it's fun?" You took the tablet from him and showed him on screen how your outfit won first place. "See? I like winningâone more round, and let's go on a night ride."
He paused, patiently waiting for a minute while you scrolled around the game lobby. He came to a decision. "No. Screen time is over. You've neglected me for far too long." He yanked the tablet away from you using his evol, then pinned you down to the bed, burying his nose in between your breasts.
Although Sylus claims he's not interested in playing the game with you, he did, in fact, join the game secretly to spy on you. He was mildly infuriated with the little amount of selection of menswear and the ridiculous look on the men's faces, so he still really doesn't understand the hype, but he'll be generous enough to give you a three or four-star once in a while.
Once, he joined your server, and the theme was the bad guy. You dressed up as a white-haired, red-eyed man with over-chiseled cheekbones. A moment later, Sylus bombarded you with a screenshot of the game. "I do not look like that. Delete it."
As much as he says he doesn't like the game, Gigi made an update and added some dark reddish aura in-game, as well as a crow perched on the hand of the model. The bird looked awfully close to Mephisto. You confronted Sylus about this, and he denied having any involvement in it.
Whenever you sleep in Sylus' home, he would wake up to the goddamn beat of the game at 3 am, and out of frustration, he would use his EVOL to get the device away from you and place it on the highest shelf in the room. Then he'd hold you down.
Rafayel:
Rafayel introduced you to the game, but after a few times of playing it, it didn't take long for him to get banned for cyberbullyingâhe wasn't bullying, actually; he was just stating facts, and the other players couldn't take it, and so they reported him. He fights anyone, and he comments a lot in the game, earning him the title of a "yapper."
"You guys don't have taste. How did that thing win first place?" That thing refers to a pretty decent outfit but doesn't match the theme.
"You don't look good either, hun," said the person in first place.
"You don't get to say that when your hair looks like puke, darling." He rage-chattered, saying everything he was typing out loud.
You were cackling beside your boyfriend, witnessing him rage while you were just perched on top of the 3rd place, happy you even got to go up there against all the fashionistas.
"Kids really have the gall to compete and insult adults with taste."
"Raf, you do understand that they're adults as well, right?"
"No, they're not. They're children. This is a kids' game."
You stared at him intently. He stared back, thinking.
"Then I don't need to hold back from insulting them." he placed his hand on the keyboard.
Rafayel's fits are absolutely top-tier. He always wins first place. The layering, the color combination, the form, and the aesthetic are all on point and top-tier. He doesn't reference, and the only time he does is when the theme requires it.
This man doesn't do duos with you because he wants the podium to himself. He once did a duo with you, and it broke his winning streak. You had a small argument about it, but you just gave in, eager to make him lose. Newsflash: You failed miserably.
He secretly joins a farming server every once in a while. Rafayel unknowingly joined the same server as you, and when you asked about it, he denied it, saying only people with bad tastes need to farm for stars. You sent him a screenshot. He didn't talk to you for a day.
He files a lot of complaints and goes on Twitter about how buggy the game is and how bad the texture is. He didn't know that his graphics were on low.
Rafayel is very active in the community and contributes to it during his free time. He uses an alternate account to post suggestions when Gigi opens a post about it. A lot of people actually agree with Rafayel's complaints and suggestions.
Rafayel once freaked out when he accidentally went inside the meat room and told you about it, but when he showed you, it was already catwalk time. You pretended you didn't believe him and tried to pretend to listen when he was searching for that passable wall. You laughed at him and brushed him off, pretending that you didn't believe him.
This began the downward spiral to Lana's lore. He kept on sending you reels about itâand speculations and theories. He even once invited you to that scary horror game, but he quit because it was too creepy and full of 'negative energy.'
Author footnotes: If I'm taking a break while writing, I would be playing dress to impress and I would be fighting children (i'm not joking, I once made a player and her friends leave the server)

Sewing diary 7/27/24
Amarena dress is on pause for now. Was not loving how the muslin was turning out on my hips. I will probably keep the bodice construction (which has great darts for large chests!) and sleeves but completely hack the skirt.
I have been working this week on the Sewing Therapy Tie Dress, which looks very flattering on the creator (above) and on some other people on Instagram. It did not look flattering on me, even two sizes down. Thank goodness I made a test muslin!
So! I finally thought fuck it, these are my clothes I can make them the way I want. I took the paper pattern and compared it to a couple of similarly constructed dresses from Uniqlo that I love and that I think fit me well.
I cut the side panel to take out about five inches overall and give it a waistline and a curve from the waist to the armhole. It was previously a completely straight line from armpit to skirt, which looked awful untied and bunched oddly when tied at the sides.
I also cinched the skirt in the same amount at the waistband then graded it out to give it a lot more fullness, probably six inches all together, plus a few inches extra length. This makes sense because I am several inches taller than the creator. I also deepened the V of the neckline, again using a dress I like as the model.
I half-ass tested this new waistline and side seam on my muslin and it seems like it'll work out. I am unfortunately out of muslin fabric now so I can't cut another one with my new pattern pieces to fully test it. I think I'm just going to cut into my main fabric and pray....
Speaking of, I have this GORGEOUS Merchant and Mills Tartlet Stripe Linen as my real fabric. It's sold out on their site so I got it from an independent shop. I loooooove it and am hopeful that I bought enough to also get a shirt out of it after this dress. We'll see.
Wish me luck!

Sewing plans roundup bc they're in my head. This is everything for which I already have all or most of the supplies in the house.
V&A shirt for Bow, in teal flannel sheeting. Cutting this now. Will involve lots of fiddly handwork and I hope to kind of keep it around to work on slowly. I probably want it to be finished before winter but who knows.
Sunflower skirt for Bow, in leftover backing from the Leaf quilt. This is going to be extremely simple in construction and probably will be mostly machining. I am not using a pattern, it's just a rectangle skirt with an elastic waistband. Most complicated thing about it is going to be inseam pockets which I've never done before but should not be especially difficult. Might get him to overlock the pieces now he's Mr Overlock so I wouldn't even have to do long seam finishings. Timeline is as above, since it is also flannel, but I'm hoping it would be a couple-of-weekends kind of situation.
Jigsaw Pants for me. Some time ago Bow got me a piece of black and red African wax print from a destash and it's EXACTLY enough to make these and I just think it's going to look cool as hell. No timeline, I have no idea when I'm starting these. I haven't even bought the pattern yet.
Black linen cloak, for me. I was going to use the robe pattern I have and hack it buuut I hate using a pattern when I could use squares and semicircles. There's a historical version that uses cartridge pleats to form the hood I think I'm going to do because, for some reason, Bow really wants to try doing cartridge pleats. So given that I have labor at hand... I expect to do the long seams on the machine but probably lots of hand finishing. Want to have it finished by this time next year in case we DO make Fantasy Forest next year.
Ren fair tunic, for me. I'm making this up in my head as I go along, but it's going to use black and white muslin. I'm probably going for a "pirate shirt" upper (for which I may hack the v&a pattern) and a medieval-style gored skirt. Maybe contrast gores all around? Maybe decorative cutouts on the upper black layer?? This could take any amount of time and will probably be mostly handwork. Timeline as above.
Crosses-and-x's quilt, for Bow's parents, using fabric his mum gave me. I want this to be a present but it could be for any occasion. I'd like to have it done next year though. I will only need to get batting. It's my next quilting project but I'm putting it off to try and avoid getting involved in a new quilt too soon. I'd LIKE to start it early next year I think but I may cave sooner.
And once I've finished these I'd LIKE to try and stop having so many new garment projects in my head and try to focus on getting through my vague pile of edits to existing clothes, but we'll see....

have you planned for anyone in the cast to have an alternate/power up or fusion form (and if so with who?)
I do have rough concepts for an allegro/zenith fusion form, the silhouette of which i used in the light/darkness/harmony title cards post
i dont think ive ever actually finalized a design for them past this sketch from november..
i also have powerup concepts for allegro and zenith that tie into this form, mostly the wing/feather and star motifs their powerups both share (allegro being Icarus themed and zenith being Artemis themed). quick scrolling through my oc channel reminded me of this super messy sketch of them doing a crystal gem fusion dance
ive posted zeniths Shining form draft before, and i still think this is pretty good. i think i still want to iterate more on the lightning tree's branches and roots and how it fits into her natural marking patterns but overall i like what ive got here. the wings of her skirt are blades that she can control telekinetically like her sluggers. they can also float in front of her to amplify a beam similar to how zero's aegis makes his attacks stronger if he fires with the sword
ive always been picturing it like a data drain thing from dot hack, or the thing they use in one of the mebius movies (not getting an example picture but you probably know what im talking about)
i couldnt find a single picture of allegros Icarus form except this picture of him getting carried away by a strong breeze .
[Allegro's Icarus form granted to him by The Ultimate Blade is, not-so-coincidentally, very similar to Adagio...]
i havent decided whether i want mari to get a powerup form yet! most of the plot is still completely up in the air. its possible she may get one as part of her crashout arc, but at the same time, i think its more meaningful for her to not change form. maybe ill make it more subtle with pattern and armor changes for her
and heres a bonus doodle i found in my oc channel that i dont think i ever posted of the gang cosplaying trigun. heart
#Asks#Zenith#Allegro#It's Showtime!#im not sure why lyle is meryl and mari is milly. probably because its funny#to be fair mari has the meryl disposition but lyle does not have the milly disposition hes also closer to meryl..#the data drain gun also kind of looks like vash's gun arm. beautiful circles abound

OCÂ LAYERSÂ TAG
Thanks for the tag @wickedviago! <3
LAYERÂ ONE:Â THEÂ OUTSIDE
Name: Sancha AlegrĂa de Riva
Eye Color: Light brown
Hair Style/Color: Wavy black hair, reaches her mid-upper back, usually with loose. She ties what she can into a low bun when on a job, just to keep it as out of the way as she can.
(Up until five years ago she wore her hair solely braided, either in just one long braid down her hack, or again, rolled into a low bun.)
Height: 5'2" (~152 cm)
Clothing Style: When not on a job, she loves flowy dresses and skirts. She tends to opt for simple, flattering designs and cuts, either in solid colors or simple patterns or embroidery. She tends to gravitate towards jewel tones.
When on conducting Crow business, she wears a mix of black, brown and purple leathers.
Best Physical Feature: Her smile and/or her legs.
LAYERÂ TWO:Â THEÂ INSIDE
Fears: Fire, sensory deprivation, magic suppression.
Guilty Pleasure: Cioccolata calda. She much prefers coffee and spicy/spiced drinks, but it reminders her of her brother and simpler times.
Biggest Pet Peeve: Being spoken over.
Ambition for the Future: Living long enough to have a future.
LAYERÂ TWO:Â THOUGHTS
First Thoughts Waking Up: What's happening?/Where am I?/No no no! (She suffered from nightmares, so most of the time she's waking up from one.)
What They Think About the Most: Decisions she's made, things she needs to do, the goings on of House de Riva, Lucanis, Spite (especially in the beginning, wondering if he could even be truly trusted 0or not), what she will do if her brother's alive. Any mixture of any and all in a circular, ruminating mess <3
What They Think About Before Bed: Did I do everything I needed to? Did I make the right choices? What will tomorrow bring?
What They Think Their Best Quality Is: She knows it's more of a weakness in the Crows, but it's her kindness. It's too easy to be cruel, and Maker knows she no trouble doing so if need be, but in her life kindness has more been a boon than a hindrance.
LAYERÂ FOUR:Â WHATâSÂ BETTER?
Single or Group Dates: Single dates. She likes smaller groups in general, and loves one on one time.
To be Loved or Respected: Out loud she'd say respected, but she wholly believes it's better to be loved.
Beauty or Brains: Beauty. It's easier for someone to drop their guard if all they see of you are your looks.
Dogs or Cats: Cat's! She grew up around mostly dogs and it's not like she doesn't like them, but give her a quiet corner with a cat and she'll be living her best life. <3
LAYERÂ FIVE:Â DOÂ YOU?
Lie: If she has to. She opts more for lies of omission than outright untruths however.
Believe in Yourself: Nope. <3 But if her betters give her a job to do (Viago, Varric) she'll do everything in her power to not disappoint them because they believe in her. Which is not the same thing whatsoever but she's trying.
Believe in Love: Not until Lucanis. (Babygirl is greyromantic, and for the longest time she assumed romantic love was just a thing in stories.)
Want Someone: Yep, see previous answer. <3
LAYERÂ SIX:Â HAVEÂ YOUÂ EVER?
Been on Stage: No. She's never had the opportunity, but she much prefers to stay on the sidelines than be the center of attention.
Done Drugs: Not unless you count poison she takes.
Changed Who You Were to Fit In: Yes. Only a select few fully know the "real" her.
LAYER SEVEN: WHATâS THEIRâŚ
Favourite colours: Deep purple, rich orange, gold, pretty much the colors of a sunset.
Favourite animal: Cats, though she also adores the carrier pigeons of her House.
Favourite book: She doesn't have a favorite, but she loves a good romance and/or a good mystery.
Favourite game: Wicked Grace.
LAYERÂ EIGHT:Â AGE
DOB: 2 Firstfall, 9:24 Dragon (though she tends to tell others it's Satinalia of that year, since that's the day she as give to the Crows.)
How Old Will You Be: 28 (as of 9:52 Dragon)
Does Age Matter: For certain things yes, for others no.
LAYERÂ NINE:Â FINISHÂ THEÂ SENTENCE
I love: Lucanis.
I feel: nervous.
I hide: insecurities.
I miss: my brother.
I wish: to make Varric proud.
Had to think a bit for some of these, but that's why I love character tags so much! Always a fun to think about my darlings and understand them a bit more.
And now to tag some lovelies! @cute-ellyna, @kabsey, @marshmallow-age, @pixiedurango, @suntamer, @the-font-bandit <3

The Sandwich Method: Your Secret Weapon for Effortless College Style

College life is a whirlwind of classes, late-night study sessions, and trying to squeeze in a social life. Sometimes, figuring out what to wear feels like just another decision to make on an already packed day. But what if I told you thereâs a simple yet incredibly effective styling hack that can have you looking effortlessly put-together without the stress? Letâs talk about: the sandwich method.
Think of your outfit like a delicious sandwich. The âbreadâ consists of matching elements on the top and bottom of your lookâa color, or even a texture. The âfillingâ is the contrasting piece in the middle, adding visual interest and preventing that overly uniform feel.
Building Your College Style Sandwich:
Letâs break down how to create your own stylish âsandwichesâ perfect for navigating campus, from lecture halls to coffee shops:
Finding Your âBreadâ: Consider versatile pieces already in your closet. Think about coordinating:
Your go-to sneakers with a tee-shirt that shares the same color.Â
A cozy knit sweater with your favorite mini ugg boots in a complementary neutral tone like brown or beige.
A comfortable hoodie (representing your school or a favorite brand) with subtle matching color accents in your sneakers.
A reliable denim jacket with your favorite pair of jeans.
Adding the âFillingâ: This is where you inject some contrast and personality, keeping practicality for campus in mind. Great âfillingâ options include:
Comfortable and versatile jeans in various washes (light, dark, black) â a college staple.
Casual skirts or dresses that can be layered with tights or jackets for different weather. Think a denim skirt or a simple mini dress.
Cargo pants in either a neutral color (khaki, olive, grey, black) OR a fun color (burgundy, mustard yellow, teal, even a subtle pattern). The choice depends on the statement you want to make and how bold your "bread" is.
Library to Late Night: The Effortless Social Sandwich:
Red sneakers (bread)
Denim mini skirt (filling)
A red fitted long sleeve t-shirt (bread)
The Mini-Sandwich: Donât Forget the Accessories!
The sandwich method isnât just for clothing! Elevate even the simplest jeans-and-tee combo by applying it to your accessories:
Match the color of your sneakers to your backpack or tote bag.
Coordinate the metal of your jewelry with the hardware on your belt or bag.
Let a pop of color in your socks peek out and tie it to a subtle detail in your hat or scarf.
The sandwich method is your secret weapon for creating balanced, stylish, and effortlessly cool outfits for your busy college life, no matter where your campus is. Itâs a simple framework that encourages you to think about cohesion while still allowing for personal expression and comfort. So, go ahead, experiment with your closet, find your perfect âbreadâ and âfillingâ combinations, and conquer campus style one stylish sandwich at a time!

Dragging a Viscount into Early Period
My first hack at more elaborate men's Rus has been prompted by a favorite Viscountess of mine dragging her fighter into early period.
I was given a pile of fabric for pre-determined aspects: a chenille upholstery fabric for the body, a buttery yellow linen for the facings, and a cream linen for the pants. For full disclosure, this piece is a commission that I'm doing at a reduced rate in hopes of getting my name out there on a pretty prominent figure in my region.
I used the calculations for measurements and layout given to me by Dvorianka Anastasiia which are derived from the patterning work done by Mistress Talana the Violet of blessed memory. It is similar to a variation of the style 5 tunic as categorized by The Renaissance Tailor, with trapezoidal gores in both the skirt and armpit, leading to an overall sleeker fit to the body than the standard square armpit gore. As some measurements had changed since Anastasiia last took them, I stressed myself out until I realized I have unlimited power at my fingertips: basic scripting. I wrote a short program to take hard coded measurements and spit out the exact dimensions of the pattern pieces, which felt a little bit like overkill and also not impressive at all.
With pieces patterned, cut out, and (mostly) serged, I delved into construction. I have learned from experience my preferred method of construction is starting by attaching the two body rectangles at the shoulders, attaching and turning the neckhole facing, and then assembling everything flat as follows.
This makes lining up and turning the facing significantly easier for me to do, and hides raw edges within the seams. Starting with the neckhole, however, means there's less fabric for me to fight while I turn a particularly annoying facing.
With the facing laid out on the body fabric, consultation with some of my apprentice siblings determined deep burgundy is the way to go for all the accents. I decided on split stitch around the neckhole and buttonhole stitch around the edges of the neckline, but quickly decided I prefer the split stitch for the rest of the decorative stitching on the garment.
For the sleeve cuffs, I pinned them in place, ran a quick line of running backstitch along the tops of the cuffs to secure them in place, then did split stitch at the top of the cuffs and a running stitch around the opening to keep the edge tidy while still not using visible machine stitching.
One thing the recipient of this garment expressed is that the striped facing secured with buttons or toggles is an ideal look, and luckily I have a significant quantity of the Vindheim buttons from Bad Baroness in stash. I do not have sufficient woven or braided trim in truly appropriate quantity or style for this garment to be aggressively period, but with the fabric we're already taking liberties and the ribbons look nice and appear to be a popular substitute for strips of silk tape performing the same function in our area. I laid the ribbon out at inch and a half intervals and made sure my lines would be straight on both sides. I turned the ends of the ribbons in and secured them with a whip stitch in a matching thread.
With my facing done and the worst of the neckhole dealt with, I seamed the rest of the garment into an actually clothing-shaped piece of fabric and let it hang for a day while working on other projects.
I decided to use a "looped cord" method of button loops, using a cord from an old site token that happens to look an awful lot like the cord used for an award the recipient has received. Starting from the bottom of the neckhole, on the wearer's right side, I've tacked the cord down under the edge of the garment, securing the loops aggressively.
Sometime soon I will get clearer pictures of this garment on the recipient.

The more I look at this garment and all other Rus-ish garments i've made and seen, I think I may need to round the gores into the "skirt" of the tunic more dramatically. I can no longer find the artistic depiction that originally gave me the impression, but until this point i've been letting the right angles of the skirt remain as initially cut, giving an angular overall silhouette but the rounding may be necessary for the right look.

Name:Â Eve Farran Species:Â Hunter (Warden) Occupation:Â IT contractor/ Supernatural Cover-up Specialist Age: 28 Years Old Played By:Â Immo Face Claim:Â Zyra Gorecki
âForget mass hysteria, the real danger with humanity knowing is its insatiable need to help.â
Teenage rebellion is a problem even with those destined to protect the âgreater goodâ. Learning to be a Warden comes with many rules, controlling everything right down to the way you speak. Eveâs dad reminded her every day: Always be on your guard, never make a deal with a fae, and most importantly: never, ever tell any of the kids at high school what you were up to during spring break.Â
So, of course, they were the first people she told. Eveâs friends were good, smart people, they were trustworthy! They werenât about to post about fauns on instagram, or flyer up the school. Hell, they even wanted to join in on the fight, as much as they could. Eve was sensible, she only brought them on recon, not the actual hunt. She taught them to fight and to protect themselves. They were a regular Mystery Inc. team, snack fiends and all.Â
But teenagers arenât known for actually knowing what sensible is. It ended, in some ways, rather predictably. A reconnaissance gone wrong, a rarer threat than expected⌠3 people dead, all civilians. Eve managed to drag most of herself into a drain and out of sight, and passed out until a rescue team arrived. They found her chewed up leg before they found the rest of her.Â
After months of rehabilitation, it was clear Eve wasnât returning to fieldwork. She began to look for a way to help behind the scenes, to protect humanity without actually having to step in front of them. She studied technology as studiously as sheâd once learned wing patterns. In the digital era, it was increasingly obvious that keeping the secret would be harder than ever. It wasnât enough to destroy haunted crypts or steal magic artefacts from laboratories anymore, when anyone could post a video and have it viral by end of day. Those videos, more often than not, kept coming from one place. Eve decided to move right to the source.Â
Slowly, over years and by âfixingâ a computer here or there, Eve started getting access to internal computer systems at the police station and at the hospital. With everything documented in databases now, sometimes all that was needed was a deleted file tag, some changed dates here and there, and trails would run cold. And if there was something physical that needed plucking from the evidence locker, or a body that needed to be collected before it reached the morgue? Eve makes a field trip every once in a while.
Bots can manipulate Social Media Algorithms to promote certain posts and bury others. Social engineering can be used to discredit factions as conspiracy theorists in the wider community. Eve has learned that this is the misinformation age: sometimes the solution isnât to destroy information but to drown it. Â
The fae had one thing right: secrets kept humanity safe. Eve will deal with the devil if thatâs what it takes.
Character Facts:
Personality: Intelligent, warm, manipulative, nosy, flirtatious, hyper-independent, ends-justify-the-means mentality
Skilled at Hacking and breaking into places unseen.
Knowledgeable about the supernatural, specifically fae.Â
Eve has had an above-knee leg amputation, and uses a prosthetic leg most of the time. Unless sheâs wearing shorts or a skirt, the prosthetic isnât usually noticeable.Â
While Eve maintains a good level of combat readiness just in case of emergencies, she wouldnât fare well in most real fights with the supernatural, and so avoids it as much as possible.Â
While Eve usually functions independently, sheâs increasingly realising that sheâd work even better if she could get some contacts in some of the more powerful groups in Wickedâs Rest.
Eve wants to be the kind of person who can invent cool new tech for fighting the supernatural. She⌠is not. Most of her âgadgetsâ donât even survive being switched on.

I now have potential patterns for all the cosplay components for Missy and Clara too. Again under the cut
So Missy first.
I've decided to use a walking skirt and matching petticoat, as I feel these will give a good silhouette

For the petticoat, there is an option with a ruffle, which I think I will use.
Shirt pattern has several options, which is nice

I plan to do it with the stand collar and then make a separate attachable collar (I do have a pattern for this, but it doesn't have a front cover to share. It is technically menswear, but I don't think that matters!), as that's what looks like might be going on in behind the scenes pictures I've seen. Then what they're calling a 'western yoke' for the back and a little bit of pattern hacking to do the front yoke. It also has a neck tie option which will be great if/when we do S10!Missy. Reference photos:

Finally the jacket - I am on the lookout for something which might be a better pattern than the 'big 4' one. But if I don't find anything better, it'll do the job!

Then Clara.
I have two potential patterns for her dress:

The fact that the first one is called 'Jenna' amused me! I'm leaning towards this one, as the skirt is one piece, which it appears to be in the reference photos I have. However I do really like the shape of the second one. Downside being it buttons all the way down, and I am a size or two bigger than the largest size on it. View A is kind of giving River Song vibes, actually. Maybe for future? Reference:

Finally the jumper

It's a pretty basic sweater, but I think it will do very nicely.
As I mentioned in my fabric post, I'm not making the leather/faux leather jacket. I am no good at working with the stuff, and it works better with equipment that I don't own.
Obviously I will work mockups to check fit, especially on the ones I'm doing pattern modifications for, but if anyone has any feedback or suggestions for alternative patterns, particularly for Missy's jacket, I'd be very grateful!
#Alice does cosplay#feel free to block that tag if you don't want to see these posts by the way#they will all be tagged#because then I can find them again (hopefully)

PART II - Another Mission
âDo I have to wear this..?â Nillyx muttered, poking at the waist of her dress. Rou stood behind her, checking out her own suit. They snagged an invite to a gala, and Polar insisted they dress to the nines. âIt is a company event, after all! If you wanna blend in, you gotta look your best. Plus, donât you worry. You donât look fat at all. Trust me.â The woman sighed, rubbing her fingers through the silky, dusty rose fabric. The holes were small but stretched up her side. There werenât any mesh coverings or anything... The chest was eloquently detailed, organza flowers covering anything that needed to be- With draping satin that framed her body just so. The sleeves werenât connected to the main fit, just ribbons wrapping around the upper arm, connecting to a beautifully patterned muslin and linen mosaic of a bell sleeve. The double-slit skirt didnât hide much of her legs- But black shorts can hide that well. That nice dusty color faded into a lighter, paler pink- Easy on the eyes. Pretty simple, actually. So was Rouâs.. Just a greyish rose vest paired with a white button-up, and dark red palazzos. It still looked stylish as hell though- How on earth did Polar get hands on stuff like this? âNilly, hunny, youâre the one who said youâll wear a dress.â ..Polar said it was only proper to have one âmanâ and one âwomanâ as a pair.. Nilly now started to rethink her decision.Â
Dammit, why did she reject all those invites? She couldâve gained EXP... Instead of being on the sidelines, serving drinks. Rou sighed, approaching her cousin and patting her on the back. The event was in two weeks, and according to the redhead, they practically had all the time in the world to prepare for what was to come. Since Rou had more experience with such social events, sheâll be tutoring the latter on what to do and what not to do. âLike I said, donât yap too much, donât attract attention, always stay alert, and if anyone asks- Just show them your clip. It gives us special access to the ballgrounds to walk anywhere without second notice.â ..right, Rou pulled some strings with some people. By âpeopleâ, Rou had meant her niephew, Ryso, her nieceâs partner, Anti, her partnerâs associate(whom the redhead would not speak of), and a few others. That was... Partially fine. Nilly had beef with Rou for letting a child hack a database, amongst other heinous activities.
The damned woman didnât speak a word of what their roles in this would ensue, just said that they would help. Isnât she just the best assistant?
Rou sighed, putting her suit in the dress bag, before swinging her crossbody messenger bag over her shoulder. Oh, yeah, she had another investigation to help with- Solan got kidnapped, and Polar has eyes on where he might be. Now Rouâs gonna go and investigate.
The former did ask if the grey-haired woman wanted to go, but the latter declined. She had things to mull over. Like.. Split timelines. It was admittedly the first reason why she went to the Archives and sulked in the first place- Due to the Strings always saying stuff like âWake up from your dreams, theyâll unite the seams, of lives different yet the same- Itâll all come to a close, one day.â
It scared her. So she did her research. And.. there it was. The possibility, that this was always a dream. A delusion. She hasnât seen him in a while.. Neither has she heard from him. But with this new urge, she canât focus on that, can she? She has to let them know- Sheâs alright.Â
âAre you sure youâre gonna be fine?â Rou asked, walking up to the gray-haired woman, and placing a hand on her shoulder. She nodded, looking up at the redhead with a small smile. âSolanâs more important than me. Kayceeâs probably devastated. Go. Iâll be alright, I promise. Probably hang out at Polarâs or something.â âKayâs staying with Kali for the meantime, by the way. You could go check up on her.â âOf course. Right now, all she needs is some good news.â (..oh, Kay- Iâm so sorry, hunny-) With that settled, the two parted ways. Aw- Yea. Rou missed this. The feel of the hot, Gulch wind rushing alongside her, the delicious rumble of Spritzâs engine(healthy boy!!), and just the utter thrill of riding somewhere, watching the scenery go by, with her and.. Herself. The canyons that rose above her, grand and strong, started to close in around her- She was close. Rou could feel it. The badger was technically supposed to go scouting with her ole pal and his boyfriend- Namely Arton and Delta- But she insisted on letting the duo go first and her pack stuff up after. She told herself that she was being nice, but in reality-.. She just didnât wanna be the third wheel. Fuckinâ awkward. Well, no matter. The sun was high in the sky and the cave entrance was just over there. It oddly got a little humid the closer she got-.. Slowing down, Rou could see some bits of slime and used cartridges littering the area around the caves. It seems like the boys got into a lil bit of a virti scuffle.. Maybe Rouâll pick up those cartridges and drop âem off later, along with a nice ole bottle of Lymber wine. Rolling to a stop, Rou carefully positioned Spritz near the cave entrance, making sure he was all nice and cozy before en-crystallizing him. Wouldnât want any nasty gunk on her baby, right? She winced at the thought. Welp, no results come from lollygagginin all day. Get your ass in, skylines. Thus her cave exploration began.
At first, there was nothing much to note, just incredibly.. Slimy walls. The cave walls also seemed to change color- From the normal pink-orange of the canyon, to weird greens and blues. Some rooms were just stock full of thicc slime people, eating their hearts out- Not.. Virti. Rou could hear whispers being exchanged- Like you were worshipping something. Then there were the large tapestries that draped on the walls, showing a lovely lady- Large, bodacious, just a pretty slime lady. Full in all her assets. Damn, Rou could personally get down with that. She seems sweet. Seems like the type to sit you down and make ya food or sum shit.. Yeah, Rou could be friends with this gal.
There were some statues too, all adorned ân everything. Jeez- Did she walk into a cult HQ or something? Fuck you, Arts- Give me a heads-up next time, dammit. She tried to keep her head down, but at times she was noticed by some of the slime people and was invited to sit down and have a bite. They were oddly welcoming, despite it all- Rou politely declined. She had a smoothie pre-ride and was feeling kinda hyped. Maybe next time, though. But that wasnât all of the weird shit she went into- Lawd, she saw THE big, beautiful slime lady herself. Bent over a table, lovingly scolding a.. Slimed.. Demon lady? The demon gal was pale, but with a tinge of ice blue. She had those fancy little Victorian era hats with the gauze on the side, but there were these little ice thorn things that poked out the top. She wasnât nicely filled out like the others, no- On the contrary, she seemed like she was.. Dehydrated. Like a little raisin. But not fully dehydrated- Do you get it? Either way, the demon girlie looked gnarly as fuck. A black eye, what seemed to be markings of an upper-cut, and based on the way little miss was holding her chest and stomach- She definitely got kicked in those two areas. Youch. Couldnât help but feel sorry for her. And look it- Her dress had ghost dogs on it, whimpering. Ghost. Dog. Dress. The fuck?? Rou wanted that. But theyâd have like.. Badgers or bunnies. Thatâd be cute. But what intrigued the redhead the most was the conversation that the duo shared. âJexi. Why would you do.. Such a thing? He was just an innocent Addi.â âMy lady, Iâm sorry. I- I wished to see how far my newfound power could reach- What my capabilities are.â âYour notes say otherwise. What is this about a Perfect Love?â The slimed demon girlie- Jexi, probably, stiffened up, looking away in shame. â..That is far before you, my lady. I was young and full of expectations reality couldnât reach. He was just perfect for the role.â âThe poor boy- Solan, was it?â Rouâs ears pricked up at the name, dots slowly forming. Experiment, perfect love, Jexi, Solan, kidnapping. That.. made sense? â..Yes, Solan.â âYou forced him into partaking of the slime, and you knew that went against our rules, my dear.â âLaza- My queen, I..â Jexi shook her head, before sighing. âIâll accept whatever punishment you deem best for me.â The slime lady- Or Laza, as Jexi called her, nodded in solemn approval, before bringing a hand to the smallerâs face, a small smile appearing on her lips. âIâm not pleased with what you did to him- Juni was mad. But I am happy that you are trying to improve.â Jexi leaned slightly into the otherâs touch, before Laza let her hand fall away.
âAs for your punishment. You will certainly have more eyes around you. Rules will be set and there will be punishments if you step out of line. I will monitor you closely- And youâll help out with the temple chores- Especially with that dish pile. Is that understood?â âUnderstood, my lady.â âAnd if this ever happens again-â âIt wonât.â That utter bitterness in Jexiâs voice was enough to make the slime woman turn, her eyes softening. â..It wonât. Iâll be sure of that.â Laza nodded, before bringing a small bowl near Jexiâs mouth. âDrink. It will help with the pain.â Jexi didnât complain, she just obeyed, sipping every last drop. ..Rou went on her way. She eavesdropped enough. There wasnât anything to note, after that, just the friendly slime people, a large spell circle, and a monstrous dish pile- One that not even Nilly would wanna conquer. And we all know how Nilly is with the dishes. The redhead took a few moments to ponder, after exiting that.. Interesting cave. She had a few jars full of slime- One that a slime person gave to her, one icy blue- Like Jexi- And a clear one, much like Laza. Rou was gonna run some tests on them later-.. But first, she gotta take care of the Solan thing. Kay mentioned something about a perfect love when she first brushed ways with a demon. Kay said she thought the demon kidnapped Solan. That tied in with Jexi having Solan in custody- And those acid marks on the table, the burn patterns, metal feathers being strewn around that one room- The experimenting table was a huge giveaway. Solan then escaped, thankfully- Bumping into some person named Juni, who apparently kicked Jexiâs ass. If Rou had to guess, Solan was staying at Juniâs for the moment as he.. Recuperates from whatever the fuck Jexi did. That didnât stop Rou from feeling sorry, though. The badger sighed, running her hands through her hair. Sheâs gotta tell Polar and Nils- But boy, Kaycee canât ever know of this. Not now, not yet. Knowing Solan, he wouldnât tell her either. It wasnât any of their business to pry.. This was between Kay and Sol. With that in place, Rou got Spritz outta his little hidey-hole and sped off. Gods, that was a lot of info. Her head was still pretty muddled when she came back, immediately collapsing on the makeshift bed Polar set up for her- Not even bothering to unpack the slime samples she got. ..maybe that wasnât the best idea- But that wholeass trip exhausted her. For.. some reason. Rou couldnât help but feel like there was something more to the whole Jexi story. The way she looked when she said it wouldnât happen again.. It made Rou feel like something similar happened before. A failure, of sorts. And boy, was she familiar with that feeling. It wasnât just her experiments. It was with Lyme and Ley, Rio, Ale, Quentin- Even fucking Matiz. She shuddered at the mere memory. ..He was the worst when it came to failures. Gods, Roulette hoped that she would never. Ever. See him again. He fell to the Void. And stars- Please fucking stay there, you sonovabitch. Boy, Ris would be so pissed. She didnât even wipe Spritz off yet-.. Haha.

Chapter 9: Donât you love it when a plan comes together?
After a quick wardrobe change, they all gathered in the hall. In the room they would eventually call The War Room, they quickly unpacked some maps, computers and schematics, laying out what they need over a large table. A bit haphazard but for the time being, still useable. Going over the floorplan, they formulated a route to best access the room this creature was supposedly in. M, doing a bit of computer hacking, was able to get schedules and codes. They pulled as much research they could find on the creature but so much was redacted, it was not useable.
âSo we know they keep it in a vat of acid 90% of the time. We donât have the ability to transport a vat of acid. So we will need to hit when they take it out for their experiments.â Carmen explains. âM, are you certain this is what you want? I still think we are ill-equipped for this.â M slams his hands on the table, âYou had no fuckin issue before! You offered me a heist of any fuckin creature I wanted. This is it. I am owed this.â Carmen sips her coffee, âI never promised you a heist. You wanted âa puppyâ and this is the puppy you chose upon my conditions that we could handle such a beast without murder to us or others. This is skirting this line. So I ask again, Are you certain you want this creature and are you certain we can pull this off in our current situation?â M groans and rubs his face, âWeâve been at this for fuckin hours already, yes I am fuckin certain!â
Carmen nodded, âAlright, final call. Drake, you fly us there and park the plane as close as you can without drawing suspicion. This clearing in this area here should suffice, if thereâs any issues, just act like you have a bit of an emergency maintenance to do. Asta, you watch the wind and weather patterns from the plane. Theres a good chance we may need to have an alternate path to get out. Which is where Lekir and Vasha come in. Lekir will form an explosive ice barrier along the outer wall here in this room and possibly some ice to help either contain or sedate the creature.
M and I will secure it and have it ready to go on the move. Surprisingly this experiment lab has windows which is good for us, bad design for them. Vasha will need to locate the helicopter over here and fly it to position, keeping distance away from the ice blast. We dont need to damage the transport before we get to use it and we need the winds to be agreeable so theres no turbulence to screw up any aim whether its boarding or taking defensive non-lethal shots. We dont need them to become lethal.
From there depends if we meet back at the plane or take off from there and have Drake and Asta meet us back here. Iâm not expecting a whole army of fire ants but you never know with these facilities. Any questions?â Carmen opens a box and hands everyone an ear-com set. âThese will help us communicate when separated. Keep them charged tonight, weâll leave at first light. Make sure that you eat a mid-light breakfast and do whatever bathroom things you need to before we leave. There will be no bathroom breaks but I donât want you starving either.â
The plan seemed solid enough with room to improvise if need be. Everyone dispersed and Carmen flopped into the office chair nearby, looking over the plans. She sipped the last of her coffee and sighed. This is what she missed. She gave this all up when she had met Wally and had Blendin, she was barely making do before that when being a single mom to Adora. By the stars, she missed them. She pulls up a photo of Adoraâs birthday, with Wally holding Blendin and Adora blowing out the candles. Carmen smiled, but the thought plagued her if she was doing the right thing by not getting her children back. Until she knew she was safe from the law, she couldnât drag her children into the mess. She still had some leads as to why the museum was burnt and why she was brought specifically to a no name asylum. She needed to solve that before the kids could come home.
âCute kids. They yours?â Lekir peered over the mareâs shoulders. Carmen looked up and wiped a stray tear, âWh- oh, yeah. This is Adora and Blendin and my.. husband, Wally.â She paused, not knowing how to really address him. Was she even a true widow? Lekir sat on the table, tilting her head. âSo is it like an open marriage orâŚâ Carmen shook her head, âHeâs missing, technically considered dead. There was no body at the museum.â Lekir nodded, âAh, I remember seeing that on the news. Some people think it was one of your heists gone sour.â Carmen put her head in her hands, âI would never set such priceless artworks on fire just to get away. Those are pieces of history you may never be able to repair.â
The two were silent for a little bit, Lekir kicking her legs idly. When standing, Lekir was a good foot taller than Carmen, then again everyone currently at the HQ were taller, being 6ft or taller while Carmen was just a mere 5â6â. Lekir made small frost designs on the tabletop as Carmen watched. âHow do you do that?â Lekir chuckles, âA unicorn asking a demon how to use magic, thats a new one.â Carmen swivels her ears, âI have a bit of a horn defect, I was never able to use magic like every other unicorn. But a demon? I thought you were a wolf.â
Lekir shook her head, âNo! No no. Iâm not a wolf. Iâm a demon species called Vesk. All beings from Cador are called demons. I happen to be proficient in ice magic. I have a friend back in Cador who likes to use lightning but already mastered all elements so far. Her name is Celica.â Carmen looked at her maps, âCador? Where is that? I donât recall a region like that.â The Vesk laughed, âYou wonât find it here. Itâs off world, you need to use specific portals to get there but I wouldnât recommend it. Our gravity is way too heavy for your bodies.â Carmen chuckled, âSo thats why you had no issue lifting me against the wall, youâre super strong here.â
Lekir stood and effortlessly picked Carmen up and laid her on the table, climbing on top and licking her fangs, âHow about I show you that refresher now~ and if your husband is still alive, we can have him join the fun someday. But until then, how about you show your girlfriend some love.â Carmen blushed and giggled as Lekir unzipped and tugged off the thiefâs leather pants and lifted her halter top, stripping herself from her own clothes and leaving them scattered around the table. M walked by and stopped short as he heard the moans and giggles, âAw gawddammit Red.. on the table?! Now Iâll have to sanitize it.. or burn it.. or maybe pour bleach in my eyes.. all of the above..â Lekir waved her hand and shut the door in his face with a bit of a freezing blast. Drake and Vasha strolled past while exploring the mansion and questioned if he was alright. âFuckin.. those two.. right on the table. We have fuckin 10 bedrooms! Use one of them! Donât use the gawddamn table!â They watched M storm away and then looked at each other with a cheeky grin before slipping into the door where the two lovers were.
M busied himself by grabbing some chips and flopped onto the sofa. Asta came over shortly and sat down on the floor by him as he idly flipped the channels on the television. Silently he offered some chips to the carbuncle, who looked up at him questioningly. âYou want some or not, I ainât holdin them all damn day like this.â Asta smiled and grabbed a handful and watched any shows that he pulled up, perhaps he really wasnt as bad as he makes himself to be.

Free pattern to retro look: Bridgerton dress hack for a Sears 1973 look.
With this one, we're going deep into pattern hacking territory, since the dress above is already a hack of two dresses. But I promise it's not that hard.
We'll start with the bodice of the Bridgerton dress. To get the lace up detail on the original, you'll cut the bodice front in half, and include a large enough seam allowance to make a placket. You can then add the grommets and ribbon.
For the straps, you could definitely leave them like that and finish the armholes with the lining, but to get closer to the original, you'll need to chop off the current shoulder and replace them with thin straps that you would sew in when sewing the outside and the lining together.
For the skirt, the hack linked above recommends using the skirt of the Heather dress. If you go that way, don't forget that you may need to adjust the width and the length, as it will be joined to the bodice at your ribcage instead of at your waist. To be honest, it would be just as easy to cut a rectangle of the size you want and work with that. For the width, you'll need to make it larger than the bodice to have it gathered at the waist. Gathered skirt usually start at 1.5 times the width of the bodice, but you can increase the ratio for a denser look. I recommend cutting the skirt in two panels, so you can insert pockets in the side seams. For the length, just decide how long you want your skirt, and if you want to include a bottom ruffle. The original doesn't have one, but is has a border print that you may not be able to find in your fabric store, so a ruffle in a coordinating fabric may mimick the visual interest. If you add a ruffle, again, you'll need at least 1.5 times the width of your skirt, and enough length to get to your prefered total length. Don't forget seam allowances.
For the fabric, I'd go with a light to medium-weight cotton, as it is a summer dress and polystester is not the best for that season. Linen could be nice but it's hard to find with prints. If you go the Spoonflower way, I'd go with the cotton lawn.
The prints above are the She Has Funny Waves chevrons from my lastest Spoonflower collection, but any big scale chevron print will do. If you can, make sure they have other coordinating pattern to add an extra panel or a ruffle at the bottom for visual interest. I think I would go with Patchwork Fantastic Lover for mine.
Anyway, here it is! Let me know if you have questions!
