川原氏：生成AIを活用することで思考の整理ができることを期待して、私の授業レポートでの使用を昨年から解禁しました。解禁前は、驚くほどユニークな発想のレポートが毎年1割ほど現れるので、生成AIによってその量が増えるのではと期待したのですが、いざ蓋を開けてみると、トップレベルのレポートがグッと減り、同じようなことを書いているものが増えてしまったのです。学生にヒアリングしてみると、生成AIからいくつかの選択肢を提示され、その中から自分が興味のある情報を選んで深掘りしたと。彼らにとっては物知りの生成AIからアドバイスをもらったように感じるのが、教員の目から見ると、極めて限られた選択肢の中での思索に留まっているのです。 奥田氏：それは面白いですね。経営資源として生成AIをどう使うかという、大きな課題につながるエピソードです。新規ビジネスを生み出すための壁打ちとして使っているつもりでも、実は過去の限られたデータの中からそれらしいヒントを提示しているだけ、という可能性があるのですから。 川原氏：違う角度から見ると「生成AIによって全体のレポートのレベルが揃った」とも捉えられます。生成AIの活用が組織内で浸透し、一定のクオリティを誰もが出せるようになれば、スキルの底上げが期待できるといえるでしょう。 奥田氏：一方で、議事録や提案書の書き方など社会人の基礎となる部分を、生成AIに頼ってしまっていいのかという疑問も残ります。どんなプロ野球選手も最初はキャッチボールから、というように、基礎を学ぶことでより技術的かつロジカルな視点を養うことができます。教育という観点から生成AIとどう付き合っていくか、難しいところです。 川原氏：多くの方が「生成AIはなんでもできる」と期待を寄せていますが、結局のところ、人間の意思決定をサポートする“Co-pilot(副操縦士)”でしかありません。生成AIに指示を与えて監督する立場として使わなければ、効率化の先にあるビジネス変革は起こせないでしょう。同時に、人間だけでなく、生成AIの進化も問われています。人はどんな意思決定を行って判断するのか、生成AIが先読みして情報を提供できるようになれば、世の中は大きく変わるでしょう。この人間の意思決定プロセスに関わる研究は、私が今一番関心のある分野です。 東京大学 インクルーシブ工学連携研究機構 機構長 大学院工学系研究科 教授　川原 圭博氏 東京大学 インクルーシブ工学連携研究機構 機構長 大学院工学系研究科 教授　川原 圭博氏 「生成AIの判断にどう責任をとるのか」が問われる時代へ ―― 人間の意思決定を先読みする。今年注目のAIエージェントは、まさにその一例ではないでしょうか。 奥田氏：そうですね。例えば、仕事帰りに「疲れたな」とため息をついたとき、AIエージェントが「行きつけの居酒屋で一杯どうですか?」とレコメンドしてくれる、なんて未来が訪れるかもしれません。さらには、その店のAIエージェントに連絡して席を自動予約、のれんをくぐったときには、過去のデータを分析したお気に入りの一品とお酒がすぐに用意される……といった、マルチエージェントによる「おもてなし」のビジネスも期待できるでしょう。 川原氏：日本はCX(顧客体験価値)先進国ですから、インバウンドとAIエージェントの組み合わせはうまくいくのではないでしょうか。日本経済を支える製造業においても、サプライチェーン各社のAIエージェントが連携し、自動的に顧客の注文に応じて必要な部品の発注・調達ができるようになれば、納品までのタイムラグを劇的に短縮できます。人手不足といった課題解決にも寄与するでしょう。 奥田氏：当社では、AIエージェントを抜本的なビジネス変革を実現するコンセプト「SmartAgent™」をすすめており、さまざまなペルソナを持った生成AIによる議論内容をマーケティングに活用いただいた事例もあります。リアルな世界でビジネス変化を起こすために、バーチャルの世界で検証を行っていく。生成AIやAIエージェントは、まさに新しいビジネスモデルの構築において欠かせない存在となってきています。 川原氏：生成AIは生まれたばかりのテクノロジーですから、まだまだ課題は山積しています。とくに安全性を保障する仕組みは国を挙げて構築していかなければなりません。 奥田氏：おっしゃる通り、「生成AIの判断に人間はどう責任をとるのか」が問われる社会になっていくと思います。企業間でAIエージェントを活用してビジネスが行われるようになったとき、万が一AIエージェントがトラブルを起こしたらどう対処するのか。企業だけでなく、社会全体で改めてAIガバナンスに向き合う必要があります。AI活用のBCP(Business Continuity Planning)ならぬ、「SCP(Social Continuity Plan)」といった考え方も出てくるかもしれませんね。
