"Do you have enough space? I can scooch over-" Kaeya started, laying a hand around your waist.

"I'm fine. I think I have enough space for now." You giggled shyly in response, laying your head on his shoulder and sighing in contentment. You held your cup of hot chocolate (with extra whipped cream and marshmallows) closer.

"So, how was your day? My birthday liege?" Kaeya nuzzled his face into your neck – you squirming a bit, but settling down after.

You smiled, satisfied, as you recounted the day's events.

Zhongli and Xiao went out with you to go pick a fight – it was really just you and Xiao. Zhongli was there for moral support. – with some hilichurls, you did some commissions, with Katheryne giving you a little extra primogems because she found out it was your birthday. Thoma even came from Inazuma to Liyue to find you. And of course, you went back home with your boyfriend, Kaeya, to wind down from the day. It was a lovely birthday indeed, being spent with your friends and lover.

"Do you think Diluc would let me have some wineeee?" You drawled sleepily, draping yourself over your boyfriend as he walked you home.

"Maybe not tonight. But how about some hot chocolate instead? We could cuddle, watch a movie, read a book.. how about that?" Kaeya kissed the top of your head.

"Mmm.. okay, then."

Hence, the two of you were cuddled (read: squished) together on your couch, Kaeya occasionally making you laugh with remnants of his whipped cream on his nose.

"Dear, I'm kind of tired..." You smiled sleepily. Kaeya kissed your forehead, holding you close as you adjusted yourself to lie on his lap instead.

"Go and rest, my love. I'll be here."

"Thank you for the day... it's been so fun with everyone." You replied. Mm... his lap was comfortable to lie on...

"Happy birthday, my love."
