I'm a tired IC

I swear ICs are dramatic. I don't understand this culture wherein fans of the less popular members of a group hate to see or envious of the popularity of the more famous member of the group. In ICs case, the more famous member is MINO and less famous are the other 3.

Its not only happening among ICs but other fandoms too. Before I became a WINNER fan, I was also a fan of BigBang, Wonder Girls and CNBLUE. *I experienced this bizarre culture among BOICEs as well when Lee Jonghyun's fans hated to see Jung Yonghwa's achievements/successes/popularities which were more than the other members.

This unfathomable culture among fans however were not present among VIPs and Wonderfuls. Mind you I have been a huge fan of BB and WG since 2008 and I have never seen other members' fans hated on or envious of GD or Sohee's popularities back then which were more than the other members, initially.

WHY? Because having a more popular member in a group DOESN'T AND WOULDN'T make the other members lose out.

WHY? Because the fans of that more popular member would subsequently took interest in the group and other members and resulted in them becoming a fan of the whole group. That's how a fandom grows larger.

You have seen the BB that you know now. Not one of the members are less popular. ALL are equally famous. (well of course GD is still the most popular but the popularity built and kept up by other members are fully and sufficiently established).

So why are we fighting about MINO being the most famous and recognized by the public when that could help WINNER to rise as well? Why are you guys always dragging him and his fans for absolutely nothing when his fans could turn into becoming a solid IC instead of casual fan of the group?

Its not Mino's fault that he is sought after. The activities he has been carrying out on his own are solely achieved by him on his own. Not because of YGs push or anything. That's what happened with his NJTTW scouting, his artistry achievements, his advertising works etc. It wasn't YG who forced him to study painting or variety skills. It's him ALONE. You have to deal with his growing popularity. And we are talking about MINO here. The one who loves WINNER as much as other members love to be with eo. The one who is always so soft and real with ICs. The one who never left WINNER from his mouth. The one who always promote WINNER at every fucking chance he gets. Let his fans hyped him up. Let them be happy of his accomplishments. These hypes who knows could create greater waves.

You don't need to bring MINO down to make the other members shine. It's pathetic. I swear ICs are losing out if you guys continue with this attitude when you are already a small fandom.
