For anyone not aware what SCR is, it’s an acronym for Salmonid Corpse Rot which is a Splatoon infection creepypasta. Basically it’s a body horror illness created by an artist on Twitter, and if you’re sensitive to gore and body horror I encourage you not to look at the Twitter threads or art marked SCR.

Not to be critical but how come SCR only infects inkfish?

It's canon that other species play inksports and even participate in Salmon Run as well (the fact that we can only play as Inklings and Octolings is just for simplicity's sake), so like...

Wearing a mask is vital to prevent the further spread of SCR

• SOCIAL DISTANCE!!!

Keep your distance from others, limit physical touch, do not share food or drinks

• STAY AT HOME!!

Participating in ink sports at this time is a very risky gamble, we still arent 100% sure if SCR can spread through ink but we’d rather be safe than sorry!

Akumu the Octoling

Oops, me designed a weird ass oc on lined paper with no color again :D. Akumu has more octopus dna than the average octoling. She usually wears a mask and covers up her scars. The concept of SCR belongs to @fernshawart! Hope you guys enjoy her!

(tw: blood, gore, body horror up ahead view at your own risk folks) the scr virus concept is inspired by @fernshawart so check them out they have a twitter too with the same user

Meggy after being cured from SCR ended up still losing some parts of her body, luckily with the help of Tari and a VERY reluctant Puzzles, they were replaced by robotic parts

She now has a robotic left eye after it fell out during the rotting phase along with a new right forearm to replace the initial which also rotted off, she lost both of her feet and ankles so they were also replaced by robotic prosthesis

her arm is basically a swiss army knife, having a built in grappling hook and splattershot among other things

to compensate for all the extra weight she needs to carry around now because metal is heavy, Meggy is more built to be able to actually carry that amount of metal around on a daily basis (buff meggy rights AMEN)

I agree with the last bit, please don't post your SCR art in the plaza. I'm personally not bothered by it but many others can be, especially children since Splatoon is a child's game!
