Genuine Spoon Sports rearview mirror glass for the EG6 Civic/S2K delivered straight from Japan. Hydro blue tint for better night visibility and convex for a wide angle view (14000R curvature). Best wide angle mirror around!

It's a simple install that uses double sided tape.

I used a black paint marker around the edge of the old mirror because there's a slight gap due to the new glass being curved outward and it wasn't meant for this model.

There wasn't one of these specifically for Del Sol but this fits near perfectly and was -$60. Driving experience at night has been drastically improved as well as my field of vision. Highly recommend.

Time to swap the S2K side mirror glass with either the OEM convex upgrade or the Spoon Sports version. Better vision in this car is a good thing.

The transmission developed a leak about 20,000km ago. Fast leak when idling. Outer seal replaced (visually failed) but this was not the fix. It was decided the transmission would need to be dropped and split in the hopes it was a failed input shaft seal. I decided while we had it all apart, it was time to upgrade the clutch and flywheel.

Spoon street style clutch disc, clutch cover, release bearing, slave hose and 4.5kg (9lb) ultra lightweight flywheel were chosen.

The input shaft seal was visually destroyed so it was replaced as were bearings and a damaged 5th gear slider. The rear main was also found to have a small leak so the seal and plate were replaced.

Kim Kitsuragi - "Press your damn cheek against Lamby, okay?" The lieutenant sounds authoritative -- and surprisingly gruff. You - Press your cheek against Lamby. Little Lily - "Isn't he soft?" She's right, Lamby is very soft. She rubs the white fur against your cheek, then returns the lamb into her lap, cuddling it.

You - "Lamby looks like he's falling apart." Little Lily - "Yessss, Lamby has lived a long life." She waves the lamb around in the air. "Lamby was a... re.. a rev..." She stumbles on her words. You - "Revanchist/Revacholian/Remote Viewer/Revisionist/Rebel?" Little Lily - "Noo-noooo, that's not it." She frowns, looking at her tattered toy. "You know what you are, Lamby." Kim Kitsuragi - "I think she means 'revolutionary'." Little Lily - "Yessss," she yelps happily! "Lamby was a re-luz-ion...ry."
