Repost @getpaulhoward ・・・ Today, was another challenging day for many, like last week was, and probably next week will be... Life is a messy and complicated and fragile and utterly imperfect thing. Life is also, more often than we notice, nuanced and graceful. It’s brave and innovative and powerful. Life can be stunningly beautiful in it’s kindness and uncompromising compassion. These are just some of the reasons I believe in Ann Asks. It’s what has pushed me to make 4 full episodes and release them online and it’s what has motivated me since February, to work on a feature film with a talented (and mostly unpaid) team that also believes in this project, this idea, this desire to spread a little more positivity. It’s why I eventually decided to do the Kickstarter campaign we are currently running and finishing up in just a few short days (on 10/10 at 10pm), because I know the world could do with a bit more good news. A bit more inspiration and joy and hope. That’s what Ann Asks is to me. Hope. Hope in humanity and hope in tomorrow. We are great, even with our flaws. We are all alike, even with our diversities. We make mistakes, but we evolve and grow and learn. I know it’s going to get better because I talk to the people doing amazing work, AND ARE ACTIVELY MAKING IT BETTER. That is Hope.
