I went to a concert last night by a Swiss artist who's also quite known in Germany (Stefanie Heinzmann). I like her voice, I like her as a person (as far as I can tell) but it's not like I know any of her songs apart from those that are played on the radio. But she played so close to where I live (10, 15 minutes by car) and the venue is actually super gorgeous and the tickets were only 40€, so I decided to treat myself because why not. I don't need to know every song by heart to qualify for a concert. I can just go. And it was gorgeous. She's such a sweet soul, so honest and open about her struggles and mental health. She was so supportive towards going to therapy, accepting yourself, embracing your weirdness and whatnot. Her show was pretty fun, the atmosphere was amazing and she definitely knows how to throw a party. So yeah. It was fun and I'm glad I went.

Seventh Tabaluga Concept Album Announced!

The seventh Tabaluga concept album has just been announced!

Its title is “Tabaluga - die Welt ist wunderbar!” (”Tabaluga - the World is Wonderful!”), and it’s set to be released on the 14th of October, 2022.

This is pretty exciting news, since it’s actually already been seven years since the last Tabaluga concept album, “Tabaluga - Es lebe die Freundschaft!” back in 2015.

According to pre-release information, “Tabaluga - die Welt ist wunderbar!” will have Tabaluga confront the issue of climate change, hoping to combat it with renewable energies. Among other things, he’ll apparently get help from a new character, a firefly called “Lucy”.

In addition to this small look at the story, one song from the album has already been revealed: “Königreich der Liebe” (”Kingdom of Love”)

This song is a duet between Peter Maffay and Stefanie Heinzmann, and supposedly it will not only appear on the album itself, but also be released as a single.

Lass es uns nicht regnen - Herbert Grönemeyer: Wie oft ich dieses Album am Anfang rauf- und runtergehört hab, ohne auch nur irgendwas persönlich mit den Texten verbinden zu können. Aber auswendig konnte ich die trotzdem, und gefeiert hab ich sie auch :D

Northern Rd. - Intergalactic Lovers: Der Introsong von "The Team". Hab die Serie wegen Lars Mikkelsen angefangen und bin für Jasmin Gerat und den Plot geblieben.

Lateniteaha - Fewjar: Boah. Wie viele Erinnerungen da dranhängen. So viele Projektpläne, die nie was wurden. So viele Konzertabende, die viel zu schnell vorbei waren. Lieb die Jungs bis zum Pluto und zurück.

Rauschen (Auf jeder Frequenz) - Donots: Nächstes. Jahr. Wird. Abgerissen. Endlich wieder. Ich feier die quasi seit 10 Jahren und bin SO READY dafür, wieder mit denen zu eskalieren. Hach.
