Shikaku x Monster!Reader

Shikaku runs into an interesting creature as he walks home, drunk and alone.

Warnings: Dubious consent (he's drunk a first but consents later), tentacles, egg impregnation, eggpreg,

You wake up from your hundred years of hibernation to find that people had built a village around your cave, an annoyance but at least there were places to gather resources close by.

You could feel your eggs heavy in your lower stomach, ready to be fertilized and implanted into a host. Your kind only wakes up to reproduce and it's not common for two of you to be awake at the same time. Because of that, there aren't many of your kind so your kind has adapted to be able to create hybrids. 

On one of your nightly outings to gather supplies, you find a fairly drunk man walking home alone. You were able to convince him to follow you with the promise of sex.

When you returned to your cave you gave the human you found a good look. He was young and a male. Gender didn't really matter to you. Your kind didn't even have gender. Human males could carry your young just fine. Plus he was very strong looking, and by the number of scares you could see despite the amount of clothing he had on, you could tell he was some type of soldier. 

“What's your name?” you asked him. 

“It's Shikaku.” he fumbled with his buckle.

“How old are you, Shikaku?” you asked setting your supplies down and joining him by the bed.

“I’m 22,” he said, finally getting his belt undone. You help each other undress making out with him. “You're beautiful.”

“Would you be interested in making hybrids with me?” You asked, getting desperate to get your eggs out of you. You guide him into the bed and straddled him.

“Okay,” he took in your body as your tentacle swallowed his member. He gasped as your tentacle started sucking. “What's that~?”

“It's my ovipositor tentacle. My species has adapted to create hybrids with many different species. I must get your reproductive cells in order to fertilize my eggs before implantation.” You probe his entrance with another tentacle before pushing it in. “My species are ovoviviparous and we implant our eggs in each other or a host. Then, after a few months, we or the host give live birth to our babies.”

“Oh, that’s what hybrids mean…” Shikaku panted,

“Do you not want to make hybrids with me?” you slow your movements.

“No~, Dont stop~,” Shikaku moaned. You picked up your pace, letting your second tentacle start to swell in him and stretch him. 

You keep him in your nest for the next two days, milking him regularly to make sure that your eggs were fertilized and preparing him to take them.

Shikaku asked as many questions as he could while he was in a clear enough mind to ask them, trying to learn as much about you and your species.  

You left him to rest at night as you gather supplies to keep him comfortable and fed, which was getting much more difficult with the increased patrol.

The morning of the third day you felt your eggs starting to move towards your tentacle, a signal that they were ready to be implanted.

“Wake up Shikaku, you need to drink some water and eat before we get started this morning,” you gently nudge him awake. He woke up with a groan and you fed him. “My eggs are dropping. It's almost time.”

“Will it hurt?” Shikaku asked nervously. He was far too deep and a bit too morbidly curious about the whole process to back out.

“No, the mucus coating of my tentacles starts to have a paralytic effect once my eggs drop. You’ll be unable to move from the waist down and it will relax your muscles. Most species say it's very pleasurable.”

“Oh, okay, that's good,” Shikaku finished eating his food. You lay him back down and stroke his body with your tentacles as one of them probed his hole. “I’m ready,”

“I’ll take good care of you.” You kissed his neck as a tentacle entered him and started thrusting. He moaned as you pushed a second one in, the two easily moved inside of him as he was still stretched out from the past two days. 

“My legs are going numb already,” Shikaku moaned. “How long does it take?”

“The first egg will be ready soon and the others will take 10-15 minutes in between.” You pushed your ovipositor tentacle alongside the other two and Shikaku arched his back in pleasure.

“It feels so good.” He panted. “Is there an aphrodisiac as well?”

“Hm… I’m not sure.” you shrugged, continuing to stretch him out as you weight for your eggs 

“Does your eggs dropping hurt?” Shikaku asked.

“It feels good. The pressure that has been on my abdomen is finally letting up.” You guide his hand to the top of your ovipositor tentacle as your first egg popped into it. “Here's the first egg.”

“That's the size of an ostrich egg!” Shikaku gasped, alarmed. “How… how many are there?”

“I’m not sure. There are typically between 12 and 14 eggs, but not all of them typically take with other species. You’ll have between 6-10 live births.” the egg was moving through your ovipositor and was soon at his entrance. The two tentacles withdrew, leaving in the ovipositor tentacle in Shikaku.

Shikaku gulped as he felt the egg probing his entrance. You stroked his cheek and kissed him softly as the egg started pushing into him. He gasped, not quite in pain but uncomfortable at being stretched so wide. It was almost halfway in as it pressed against his prostate and sent waves of pleasure through his entire body that just got stronger as the egg continued to press against it. He came hard onto his chest as his vision went starry. He came back to his senses after a few minutes and he could feel the egg heavy in his abdomen. He laid his hand on his abdomen and could feel the egg slightly protruding. 

“See, that wasn't so bad.” you smiled, having him drink some water. He blushed hard as you stroked the protruding egg. “You took our egg so well,”

“Will they all feel like that?” Shikaku asked. 

“Yes, just try to rest while the next one comes.” You wiped the sweat off his forehead. The two of you lay quietly until you felt the next one pop into your ovipositor. “The next ones coming.”

This one pushed through easier and Shikaku came a second time as the egg entered him. The third and fourth came in similar manners. When the fifth egg popped into your ovipositor, you could tell it was larger than the others had been. 

“This one is going to be bigger, Shikaku,” you warned him,

“Bigger?” Shikaku gulped, already spent. It was soon pushing into his entrance. “Too… too big…”

Shikaku had pleasure shoot through him as the egg started pressing against his prostate. You started stroking him as the egg milked into another orgasm, drawing it out longer. Shikaku was a mess under you as the egg finally moved passed his prostate. “Oh, you look absolutely delicious wrecked like you are.”

Shikaku was too overstimulated to respond as you let him rest before the next egg came. You dropped another 11 eggs for a total of 16. Shikaku was mind broken with pleasure by the end of it. You cleaned him up and wrapped him up in bed, making sure he stayed reclined as the eggs attached. It would take around 5-6 hours for the eggs to attach completely. Shikaku was unresponsive, drooling and his eyes unfocused. You cleaned up your cave, bundling up your supplies and getting ready to go back into hibernation. 

Once you were sure the eggs were fully implanted, you let Shikaku asleep at a small shrine near your cave that you had been delighted to realize was a shrine to you. 

You sat hiding making sure he was found before too long. He was discovered not long after you left him and he was rushed off by med-nins while others stayed to investigate. You quickly returned to your cave so that you were not found and went to the deepest chamber, sealing it up as you went back into hibernation.

Okay I love Temari and Shikamaru as individual people, but I'm gonna be honest- I REALLLYYY DON'T like them as a couple :( Same with SasuNaru/SNS. Sorry, but it's just too toxic for me.

NARUTO CAN BE THE SUN AND SHIKAMARU CAN BE THE SHADOW OF EVERYTHING NARUTO'S LIGHT SHINES DOWN UPON SALKDFJHSGJKHSH (it also make sense bc shikamaru is the hokage's advisor, so he's in the shadows taking care of politics meanwhile naruto is the face of konoha in a newer world post-war world).

Plus, Sasuke was gone for like most of the show, meanwhile shikamaru was there for naruto for the entirety of the show, even before sasuke and naruto became friends.

Expanding on their dynamic, you have the typical cheerful himbo bf (naruto) and the snarky, mean, and smart bf (shikamaru) who's rude and cold to everyone but uncharacteristically sweet and patient with his boyfriend.

Shikamaru believed in Naruto's ability to be Hokage even before Sasuke did- Shikaku even said at one point that he believes in Naruto because his son has so much faith in him- plus, he was there for Naruto when he was mourning over Jiraiya's death (I absolutely hate that sexual predator with all my heart, I'm glad he died but Naruto looked up to him regardless of his screwed up behavior so it really hurt to watch him mourn).

Out of all the Konoha 11, Shikamaru probably looked out for him more than anyone imo.

Anyway, I wrote this big essay bc I absolutely adore them and I wanna know what you think. I honestly could write headcannons/fanfics about them forever bc I love their dynamic.

(also, naruto would definetely be a sub while shikamaru would be a dom, I don't make the rules)

Aftercare Shikaku x Alpha!Reader

“The surgery went well. Your student will be just fine,” the medical ninja assured you. Your team had just finished an escort mission and were returning to the village when you were ambushed. During the fight, your students were injured and one sustained severe injuries. You had managed to get you and your students out alive and back to the village but your injured student was in bad condition.

“That's good,” you let out tension you didn't realize you were holding. You visited your students quickly before going to the mission desk to turn in your mission report. You make your report before going to find your husband, who you find in his office. 

“Hey, you look awful.” Shikaku got up to greet you. You chuckled and pulled him into a hug. “Rough mission?”

“Ya, it was,” you kissed him. “I got you something though. I found some candles for us to play with tonight so don't stay at work too late tonight.”

“Well, I can't pass up an offer like that.” Shikaku chuckled. 

“I’ll let you get back to work, see you tonight.” you gave him another kiss and left him to his work. You were preparing things for the two of you when Shikaku came home. 

“I heard about your student, how are you doing?” Shikaku asked, sitting next to you.

“I’m okay and they’re going to be okay too,” you sighed. “They pretty excited about the scars and he said he’s going to use them to try to get his crush's attention.”

“That's good.” Shikaku chuckled. “So what do you have planned for tonight?” 

“I was thinking about tying you up and using the new candles on you,” you smirked pulling him into your lap and kissing him gently. 

“That sounds like a lot of fun,” Shikaku moaned into the kiss.  

“Let's get started then~” you smirked. It wasn't long before Shikaku was tied up and blindfolded. You let your hands roam Shikaku's body and started sucking on one of his nipples. 

“I thought we were playing with candles~” Shikaku moaned. 

“I just can't help myself. You look so sexy in this position,” you smirked moving on to sucking on his other nipple. Shikaku could of course get out of the ropes by himself. You had already tested the candles on yourself so you knew they wouldn't burn too hot but you still got nervous trying out new candles. Certain wax blends melted at hotter temperatures and could cause serious burns and you didn't want to be responsible for another getting hurt. 

Shikaku let out soft gasps as each drop hit his skin. You tried to just enjoy watching Shikaku but you weren't able to push the thoughts that you were hurting Shikaku out. You put the candle down, trying to get your hand to stop shaking. 

“Love, what's going on?” Shikaku asked after a few moments. 

“I’m fine,” You said, more for yourself. Shikaku clearly didn't believe it anyways, escaping from the rope, taking your hands into his. 

“Ya, you're okay,” Shikaku squeezed your hands softly. “Do you want to talk about it?” 

You shook your head and let Shikaku pull you into a hug. You started crying into his chest as he just held you and ran his hands through your hair. As you started calming down, Shikaku took you to your shared bed and cuddled up with you. “I’m sorry,” 

“You don't have anything to be sorry about.” Shikaku stroked your hair. “It's my turn to take care of you.”

“Thanks,” you sighed, “I love you,”

“I love you too,” Shikaku kissed your forehead.

My brain has been hiding under a rock...

.... and it refuses to come out and let me enjoy anything.

As such I have had nothing to say and nothing to post about. DAMN YOU DEPRESSED BRAIN! I finally created a tumblr so I could share my thoughts and scream at others about my drama addiction and now you make me hit a drama slump. How dare you....

ANYWAY, I haven’t been able to keep up with anything as of late and my progress with watching dramas is slow as fuck. I’m still trying to finish Vigilantes in masks that I started like 3 months ago or somethin. 

But, since I can’t focus on anything I started in the last 3 months I’ve managed to side track into Jdramas. 

One because they tend to be much smaller series. 8 episodes or so. This is much less overwhelming than like the 40/60 something I’m used to. 

Two because it’s something new. Lots of Kdramas and Cdramas have the same vibe. Which isn’t a bad thing but it’s not catching the attention of depressed katacomb brain that craves new things because if we can’t find something new then automatically I’m somehow wasting my life and have no value or some shiz... heeeee...

So some recommendations if anyone wants to watch some Jdramas. (Assuming you read this far. If you did congrats. I love you for it.)

Recently I’ve watched, by way of recommendation or just seeing it in the recents of the drama7seas:

- Soroban Samurai

The story of a samurai who doubles as an accountant. Yes, an accountant. He’s pretty darn cool and he’s also something of a detective too. I’m pretty sure his role in life is basically a jack of all trades. The production leaves something to be desired in quality but it’s a wonderful story and I stayed for the characters. There’s 9 episodes and each story line is independent of each other told over the span of 3 episodes. So, 9 episodes = 3 storylines that have almost nothing to do with each other aside from the main character and a few side characters. If you want an over reaching storyline then this does not have one. But, I really enjoyed it cause it was simple and I have a thing for detectives. Not much for whump either. But It’s still a fun drama for the side lines.

- Shikaku Tantei Higurashi Tabito

More detectivish MCs. NOW this is a drama everyone should watch!! It has a movie (Which should be watched first but really only gives some character introductions, it’s not hugelly important to story line so you could skip it if you wished.) and a 9 episode series. The series is where it’s at tho! SOoo much whump and amazing found family and angst. I love the premise of this series. It was absolutely fascinating. I’ve always loved series that explore the different ways people with unique disabilities see the regular world or that the world appears differently to everyone in general. The MC was amazing. I loved him and his intensity but also goofy and traumatised self. The actor did any amazing job with this character. From the way he swayed during conversations while trying to keep peoples lips in view so he could read them since he’s deaf. It’s like they never forgot that he only had the sense of sight, literally nothing else. From the way he walked to the things he ate. it was all very well done. 10/10 would recommend.

And lastly, Meiji Kaika: Shinjuro Tanteicho

Oh look, another detective MC. Is anyone surprised? Not me. 

Though dunno if I recommend this one yet since I’ve only seen the first ep but I’ve been waiting for all 8 eps to be subbed and now they are. So, Imma binge this. Drama7seas says 2020 but I’m thinking not from the production. It looks hella old but I don’t pretend to know how film develops in Japan or if this is specific style or whatnot but I really like the rustic vibe to it. MC looks super cooky too and I like it.

Opening shot, is pretty and certainly a painting of somesort.

What is he wearing around his neck? Anyone know????? Genuinely curious about this fashion choice. It’s not like most ties I’ve seen in historical type dramas.

I like him. He has a fun sense of style.

“I’ll Miss You” (Shikamaru x Sai)

DAY 1 Prompt - “I’ll Miss You” @narutorarepairjune

The war raged on, the villages reunited as one congregation of ninja all fighting for the same cause. Sai and Shikamaru were no different, both fighting in the war for the sake of their village and the others, together, hand in hand. Together they were stronger, that’s what they always told themselves when times got tough, when Shakamrus’s father disliked the idea of his son dating the emotionless ninja coming from Donzo’s underground clan on ninjas, ROOT. 

 “You need someone better, son. Someone who can give you what you want, someone who can support you emotionally if you need it.” Shikaku, the Nara clan head, spoke to his son. “I don’t care if it's a girl or a guy, but you deserve someone who can be there for you in every way.” Shikamaru never yelled at his father, never once disrespected the man whom he learned so much from, but he couldn’t let his father get away with saying that Sai wasn’t worthy enough to be with him.

 “That’s not for you to decide, dad. Sai is perfect the way he is. Besides, he is learning how to be a normal person, he is trying, for me.” He spoke calmly as most Nara men do, but his father just shook his head and walked away. Shikamaru was never a furious person, it took a lot to push a Nara to the point of slamming the front door shut and walking away. 

Walking up to the door of the apartment complex that Sai now resides in, Shikamaru opened the door without knocking, took off his shoes and went to the bedroom, knowing Sai would be in bed reading more books.

 “Shikamaru? Why are you here?” The pale brunette spoke to his significant other, closing the book and setting it on the bedside table.

 “I just… I just needed to get away from home for a bit. I’m sorry, I’ll leave.” Shikamaru turned, heading back towards the living area to get his shoes.

 “No! It’s okay, come.” Sai said smiling, patting the bed next to him. “I don’t mind.” Shikamaru shuffled his way towards the bed, scooting the blankets aside and making himself comfortable. “You seem upset? Would you like to talk about it? Or maybe you would like to do.. What is it? Oh! Cuddle? I read that when someone is upset, talking and cuddles help the person feel better.” Sai spoke matter-of-factly. Shikamaru sighed and nodded his head, scooting closer to the open arms welcoming him in. Sai then held his partner tightly, blanketing Shikamaru in his warm embrace.

 “It was my father, “Shikamaru started as soon as he laid his head on Sai’s chest, feeling the silky blue pajama shirt subbing against his cheek. “He said that I deserve someone better than you. Said you can’t be there for me in every way. Since you came from ROOT that apparently makes you less human.” Sai just rubbed his hand along his back, another tip he read.

 “I think you should do what makes you happy.” Sai then spoke after a few silent minutes. “You need to do what makes you happy, not what others want, but what you want.”

 “You’re what makes me happy, Sai. I know you're not fully aware of all emotions, but you do make me happy.” Shikamaru spoke almost immediately, putting his hands on the side of his lover's smooth face.

 “And you make me happy too, Shika.” The two leaned in and kissed, more like Shikamaru kissed and Sai tried to reciprocate the kiss in the same way his partner was, but the teen was still learning and that’s what made Shikamaru the happiest.

 Now, months later, Sai had grown as a man, a ninja, a partner. He learned how to have sympathy, empathy, how to give a proper compliment and how to show Shikamaru how much he cared about him without saying, “I read once”. Shikamaru proved to his father that Sai was the perfect one for him, that he could and would do anything for him. Shikaku smiled at his son, nodding his head in approval. “I’m happy for you, son.” Shikaku then turned on his heel, heading to headquarters with Inoichi to prepare for the upcoming war. Shikamaru marched with Sai, their friends smiling at the couple with loving gazes, happy that the two found each other to cherish. But what no one expected was for Shikamaru to not make it. No one expected that the genius, Shikamaru Nara, would’ve been killed when battling his own Sensei. 

 Sai was the last to find out, having been in a different part of the battlefield, he wept. Shedding his first real tears for the man he cared for, he would even say loved. Yes, Sai had loved Shikamaru, he felt it in his own heart. He held onto the cold, limp but stiff body of his lover, held it so tight in hopes that maybe, just maybe, it would provide enough warmth for him to wake up. To have those brown eyes look up at him, that signature Nara smirk across his lower face. To have him say, “What a drag” one more time. But he knew, logically, Shikamaru would never wake up, never open his eyes that looked at him with admiration, to never open his mouth and hear his honeyed voice telling him how good he was doing by opening up more and showing his emotions more fluently. To never hear the three little words slip from his soft, inviting lips. To never get the chance to tell him those same three little words back. 

 The war was still going on and Sai knew he had to leave Shikamaru where he was. “I’ll miss you.” Those were the last words Sai spoke to the man he felt anything towards as he walked away, his heart hardening, closing himself off towards the world and to others. Never again, showing his emotions in fear the same fate will happen to the next person. His heart closed itself off from finding someone ever again, because no one would make him the way he had with Shikamaru. No one else would even come close.
