رَبِّ لا تَذَرْنِي فَرْدًا وَأَنْتَ خَيْرُ الْوَارِثِينَ

My Lord, do not leave me alone [with no heir], while You are the best of inheritors.

#DUA List for the First 10 Days of Dhul-Hijjah

a) Dua for the best of both worlds

Rabbana atinafee addunya hasanatan wafee al-akhiratihasanatan waqina AAathaba annar.

Our Lord, give us in this world [that which is] good and in the Hereafter [that which is] good and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.

{Surat Al Baqarah 2 : Ayaah 201}

b) Dua during Distress (Keeping in mind as humans we are never “totally” free from distress,thus making this dua constantly is very beneficial.)

La ilaha il-lallah Al-`Alimul-Halim. La-ilaha illallah Rabul- Arsh-al-Azim, La ilaha-il-lallah Rabus-Samawati Rab-ul-Ard; wa Rab-ul-Arsh Al- Karim.

None has the right to be worshipped but Allah the incomparably great, the compassionate. None has the right to be worshipped but Allah the rub of the mighty throne. None has the right to be worshipped but Allah the rub of the heavens, the rub of the earth, and the rubb of the honorable throne.{Sahih Al Bukhari}

c) Dua for Spouse and Children

Rabbanahab lana min azwajina wathurriyyatinaqurrata aAAyunin wajAAalna lilmuttaqeena imama

Our Lord, grant us from among our wives and offspring comfort to our eyes and make us an example for the righteous.

{Surat Al Furqan 25: Ayaah 74}

d) Dua for Forgiveness and a Beautiful End

Rabbana faghfirlana thunoobana wakaffir AAannasayyi-atina watawaffana maAAa al-abrar

Our Lord! Forgive us our sins and remit from us our evil deeds, and make us die in the state of righteousness along with Al-Abrar (those who are obedient to Allah and follow strictly His Orders).

{Surat Ali Imran 3: Ayaah 193}

e) Dua for Protection against Debt, Oppression, Sadness.

Allahumma Inni A’udhu Bika Minal-Hammi Wal-Hazani Wal-Ajzi Wal-Kasali Wal-Bukhli Wa Dala’id=Dain Wa Qahrir-Rijal

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from sadness, grief, helplessness, laziness, being stingy, overwhelming debt, and the overpowering of men. {Tirmidhi}

f) Dua for Guidance & Protection against harm

Allahumm-aghfir li, warhamni, wa-hdini, wa ‘afini, warzuqni

O Allah! Forgive me, have mercy on me, guide me, guard me against harm and provide me with sustenance and salvation

{Sahih Muslim}

g) Dua for Guidance towards the best of Manners

Inna salati wa nusuki wa mahyaya wa mamati lillahi rabbil-alamin, la sharika lahu, wa bidhalika umirtu wa ana min al-muslimin. Allahummahdini liahsanil-amali wa ahsanil-akhlaqi la yahdi li ahsaniha illa anta wa qini sayy’al-a’mali wa sayy’al-ahaqi la yaqi sayy’aha illa ant.

Indeed my salah (prayer), my sacrifice, my living, and my dying are for Allah, the Lord of all that exists. He has no partner. And of this I have been commanded, and I am one of the Muslims. O Allah, guide me to the best of deeds and the best of manners, for none can guide to the best of them but You. And protect me from bad deeds and bad manners, for none can protect against them but You.

h) Dua for Safety and Wellbeing

Allahumma inni as’alukal-huda wat- tuqa wal-’afafa wal-ghina

O Allah! I ask you for your guidance, piety, safety and wellbeing and contentment and sufficieny.

{Sahih Muslim}

i) Dua for Protection Against Hellfiire

Rabbanaisrif AAanna AAathaba jahannama inna AAathabahakana gharama Innaha saat mustaqarran wamuqama

Our Lord! Avert from us the torment of Hell. Verily! Its torment is ever an inseparable, permanent punishment. Evil indeed it (Hell) is as an abode and as a place to dwell.

{Surat Al Furqan 25: Ayaat 65-66}

j) Dua for confessing your Sins – Dua of Yunus aleyhi salaam.

If you know what verse follows this verse you will never stop making this dua! SubhanAllah. May Allah answer our prayers as He responded to the call of our beloved Prophet Yunus aleyhi salaam.

La ilaha illa anta subhanaka inneekuntu mina aththalimeen

[none has the right to be worshipped but You (O Allah)], Glorified (and Exalted) are You [above all that (evil) they associate with You]. Truly, I have been of the wrong-doers.

{Surat Al Anbya 21: Ayaah 87}

FOLLOWING VERSE -

Fastajabna lahu wanajjaynahumina alghammi wakathalika nunjee almu/mineen

So We responded to him and saved him from the distress. And thus do We save the believers.

{Surat Al Anbya 21: Ayaah 88}

May Allah make us from the believers whom He saves!! Ameen

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Shall I not tell you of something that, if any worldly calamity or disaster befalls any man among you and he says these words, he will be relieved of it. (It is) the du’aa’ of Dhu’l-Noon: “Laa ilaaha illa anta subhaanaka inni kuntu min al-zaalimeen (none has the right to be worshipped but You (O Allaah), Glorified (and Exalted) be You [above all that (evil) they associate with You]! Truly, I have been of the wrongdoers).” According to another report: “No Muslim man says this du’aa’ concerning anything but Allaah will answer his prayer.”

{Saheeh al-Jaami’ al-Sagheer wa Ziyaadatuhu, 2065}

k) Dua for protection against an oppressor or when you are feeling totally helpless – Dua of Nuh aleyhi salaam

Rabbahu annee maghloobun fantasir

Indeed, I am overpowered, so help(me).

{Surat Al Qamar 54: Ayaah 10}

l) Dua for the best disposal of your Affairs – Dua of Ibrahim aleyhi salaam

HasbunaAllahu waniAAma alwakeel

Sufficient for us is Allah , and [He is] the best Disposer of affairs.

{Surat Ali Imran 3: Ayaah 173}

m) Dua for Job Security + Marriage – Musa aleyhi salaam.

One of my favourite Duaas. This dua ensured Musa aleyhi salaam got a job security for 8-10 years and got him married.

Rabbiinnee lima anzalta ilayya min khayrin faqeer

My Lord, indeed I am, for whatever good You would send down to me, in need.

{Surah Al Qasas 28: Ayaah 24}

n) Dua for seeking Allah’s Mercy

Ya Hayyu Ya Qayyum! Bi rahmatika astagheeth!

O Living, O Self-Sustaining Sustainer! In Your Mercy do I seek relief

Innama ashkoo baththee wahuzneeila Allahi

I only complain of my suffering and my grief to Allah

And I entrust my affair to Allah . Indeed, Allah is Seeing of [His] servants. {Surah Ghafir 40:Ayaah 44}

Allahumma inni a’udhu bika min ‘adhabi jahannam, wa min ‘adhabil-qabr, wa min fitnatil-mahya wal-mamat, wa min sharri fitnatil-masihid-dajjal.

“O Allah! I seek refuge in You from the torment of Hell, from the torment of the grave, from the trials of life and death, and from the mischief of Al-Masih Ad-Dajjal (Antichrist).”

Our Lord, and accept my supplication.

The Few and The Many.

When Umar ibn al-Khattab (Radiallahu Anhu) was walking in the market, he passed by a man who was supplicating: “O Allah, make us of Your ‘few’ servants! O Allah make us of Your ‘few’ servants!”

So Umar (Radiallahu Anhu) said to him: “Where did you get this du`a from?”

And the man said: “Allah in His Book says: ‘And few of My servants are grateful” - [Surah Saba’ 34:13]

So Umar (Radiallahu Anhu) wept and admonished himself saying: “The people are more knowledgeable than you O Umar! O Allah make us of Your ‘few’ servants.”

Sometimes when you advise someone to leave a sin, they respond with: “But most people do it, it’s not just me!”

But if you look for the words “most people” in the Qur’an, you will find that most people:

“do not know” - Surat Al-‘A`raaf [7:187]

“do not give thanks” - Surah Baqarah [2:243]

“do not believe” - Surah Hud [11:17]

“are defiantly disobedient” - Surah Al Ma’idah [5:59]

“ignorant” - Surah Al-An’am [6:111]

“turning away” - Surah Al-‘Anbya [21:24]

“do not reason” - Surah Al-`Ankabut [29:23]

“do not listen” - Surah Al-‘Anfal [8:21]

So we should strive to be of the “few” about whom Allah says:

“And few of My servants are grateful.” - [34:13]

“But none had believed with him, except a few.” - [11:40]

“In the Gardens of Pleasure, A [large] company of the former peoples, And a few of the later peoples.” - Surah Al-Waqi`ah [56:12-14]

Ibn al-Qayyim (Rahimahullah) said:

Go on the path of truth and do not feel lonely because there are few who take that path, and beware of the path of falsehood, and do not be deceived by the greatness of the perishers.

[seeking-the-mercy-of-allah]

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم بسم الله الرحمن الرحيمِ La ilaha illa anta, Subhanaka, Inni kuntu minaz-zalimin “There is none worthy of worship besides You, You are far exalted above all weaknesses, Surely, I am from among the wrongdoers”. It was recited by Prophet Yunus (A.S) when he was in the belly of the fish. It is mentioned in Surat Al-Anbya in this way that:- “And remember Zun-nun, when he departed in wrath: He imagined that We had no power over him! But he cried through the depths of darkness, There is no God but thou: glory to thee: I was indeed wrong! So We listened to him: and delivered him from distress: and thus do We deliver those who have faith.” It is narrated by Sa’d ibn E Waqqas that:- “The supplication made by the Companion of the Fish (Prophet Yunus (as)) in the belly of the fish was (the above). If any Muslim supplicates in these words, his supplication will be accepted/responded to.” Benefits of reciting Ayat E Karima • It fulfills the right desire of the person. • It overcomes all difficulties • It solves marriage issues. • It defeats and overpowers enemies and tyrant leaders. • It is a best treatment for incurable diseases. • It is a cure of any type of black magic. دعاء سيدنا أيوب عليه السلام

Dua of Prophet Ayyub (AS)

أَنِّي مَسَّنِيَ ٱلضُّرُّ وَأَنتَ أَرۡحَمُ ٱلرَّٰحِمِينَ

Indeed, distress has touched me, and You are the most merciful of the merciful.

It was a huge turning point in my life!

I'm going to share it with you because I want good for you all just as I want it for myself:

Previously, whenever I would encounter any hardships in my life, or see the oppression and the suffering that some people go through; I used to think: Why? Why was such a thing decreed?

My "rational convections" used to help ease my heart; so I would recall the greatness of Allah and His wisdom, and tell myself: "There must be an answer, even if I don't know it".

Then the question of "Why" would no longer come to my mind except out of contemplation and pondering over what could be learned from the wisdom of Allah in His decree...

Other than that, the door of questioning the decree of Allah was closed!

That point was the beginning of a great deal of khair [good] and benefit not only for myself but for others as well.

I wasn't granted that transformation except by having gone through a tremendous calamity through which I understood the meaning of servitude to Allah, the reverence of His Godship, and how in need the distressed servant is of the Great Lord.

A calamity through which I came to understand {They knew there was no refuge from Allah except in Him.} (Quran translated meanings; Surat At-Tawbah 9:118). For becoming displeased with His decree won't save you from the distress, nor will doubting His decree ever help you. Rather, you must turn to Him, seek refuge in Him, and submit to Him!

Allah knows what a great deal of khair He has bestowed upon me ever since then!

If I were afflicted with something that saddens or aches me, I would reflect on where I had fallen short, bear the responsibility for my mistakes, face off the hardships via the Islamically lawful means, hope for the reward from Allah, and seek Allah's help to turn the hardship into a blessing.

If I see oppression and subjugation befalling others, I become only concerned with one thing: "How can I help those who are being oppressed and relieve them of their distress?"

Allah's actions and decrees: {He is not questioned about what He does,...} (Quran translated meanings; surat Al-Anbya 21:23). To Him belongs perfect wisdom, the utmost glory, and the loftiest praises... What matters is; what is required of me?

Allah knows the tremendous blessings I have been granted by adopting this mindset. How a small action becomes a source of great benefit, how the heart became tranquil and pleased with Allah the Exalted, and how much I have seen from His generosity and kindness, Exalted is He.

Before this transformation, I used to convince myself of Allah's wisdom, ward off whatever decree-related questions that would come to mind, and I would stop there, believing that I had won.

But now, I no longer need to repel those questions or recall my convictions; as the door to question His actions, Exalted is He, is completely closed, and my energy is now saved for what I have to do on my part. This has opened up for me great avenues that were concealed from me before, and Allah made me learn from the wisdom behind calamities that which I couldn't grasp nor ever crossed my mind before.

So, to whoever doubts the wisdom of his Lord:

All evidence proclaims that your Lord the Almighty and the Exalted is The Wisest, The All-Knowing, The Greatest, and The Most-Merciful, and that which hasn't been revealed to you is because of your limited human mind and due to your lack of understanding of who your Lord truly is. So close that door completely, and channel all your energy into that which is beneficial; then watch how the blessings and grace of Allah are going to be bestowed on you!

Surat Al-Anbya Verses 92-97 where Allah(SWT)mentions in the Quran Regarding Judgement Day Until Finally Yajuj and Majuj will be Allowed out they will be Allowed out and they are Going to be Pouring Down from every Single Slope from every Mountain they're Going to be coming and Judgement will now be Asunder will now be well close so Yajuj and Majuj are right before Judgement day this is Pretty Clear in the Quran in Surat Al-Kahf over here and the Inevitable hour is coming so twice in the Quran Allah mentions Yajuj and Majuj both of them linking it directly to Judgement day right before Judgement day now by the way.
