leader: springstar; daughter of outsider healer, Shiningtail, who was exiled for murder.

deputy: olivemask; son of legendary warrior oliveshade and the outsider she fell in love with who joined her in the clan, thornfeather. one of their only surviving kits.

snowbellscent; third in command, in a way! olivemask’s mate who was adopted into the clan as an abandoned kit alongside her brother petalclaw, who died in the Steel Blizzard which claimed half the clan.

head medicine cat; doricstone, secretly the father to two of Snowbellscent’s kits, Olivapaw and Amitypaw. olivemask’s eldest brother and only surviving sibling.

Other Clans

Faithwillow travels to LionClan to resolve some recent hunting disputes. However, no progress was made. Streamstem travels to SplinterClan to resolve some recent herb-gathering disputes The meeting goes better than expected, and Streamstem returns with a plan to solve the issue for good

Health

Shrewdusk fought a rogue, and while they drove the trespasser away, they needed to be rushed to the medicine den afterwards Treewatcher's infection is gone, though has been impatient, and Swarmpaw has noticed they haven't been the most diligent with their leg strengthening exercises. it's unfortunately having consequences, as their healing broken bone has given them a weaker leg. Tempestvalley got heat stroke Tumblekick notices Avalanchebeetle limping from across the other side of camp, and gives them some exercises to help strengthen their weak leg and reduce the pain. Ryepaw's running nose is gone

Relationships

Lakehusk will always love Shortjump but has decided to move on (they aren't dead just lost)

Swarmpaw attacked a snake! But he's also fighting back tears when he missed a catch.

Oakpaw's wondering how Maplepaw is doing.

Maplepaw fell into a river, and has been sputtering.

Riverdusk (their mama) and Curlewjump have become mates!

Only Oak became an apprentice, becoming Oaknettle. He's wondering if he would be a good swimmer..maybe related to Maplepaw's incident?

Maplepaw refused to follow Cranestar's/her mentor's orders due to her own morals.

Oaknettle is rethinking their life choices.

I'm someone who frequently starts a new Clangen, so here's a little person challenge: stay focused. It will help to narrow down to certain characters, so here they are:

Swarmkit [male, insecure, oddly observant], Oakkit [female, lonesome, quick to make peace and constantly climbing], and Maplekit [male, quiet, splashes in puddles]

They are the Half-Clan kits of mediator Riverdusk, who possibly had them with a kittypet?

they live in a boggy area, and their typical naming scheme is based around insects and fungi, but sometimes extends to other bog life/features as well.

the area where they live is fairly close to a twolegplace, and often visited by curious kittypets and wandering loners who sometimes join the clan.

they're rather small for a clan, and a number of their cats are former outsiders.

they believe that when a cat dies, their spirit can only move on to the afterlife once their body rots entirely, and until then they are stuck as ghosts.

their current leader is Morelstar (formerly Morelshine), their current deputy is Maywhisker, and their current healers are Inkystare and Swarmpaw.

Dappledkit watched the ceremony from nearby. She knew the tom was two moons older, but she couldn't wait to join him for training, just as they played together outside the nursery not long ago.
