Since I just saw RT trying to sell the battle between the T-90M and the two Bradleys as a “win”, here’s some memes about it.
And Friendly Reminder that the 25mm chaingun was never meant to be used against tanks, that’s what the TOW missiles were for, and yet those crews successfully used it to completely clown on Russia’s most modern tank in actual service, the equivalent of a BMP-2 taking out an Abrams.

The Russians are using a T-34, an ISU-152 and an IS-3(?) as training vehicles now...
We're so close to seeing T-34s on the frontline... That's when we'll know they're truly fucked...
@i-identify-tanks-in-posts how useful would these old tanks be as training aids, considering the wide spread of tank models being used by Russia in Ukraine? I imagine they'd have more relevance to say, one of the T-54/T-55s, than a T-90M.

Recomiendo darle follow.

Russia has lost at least 87 T-90M tanks. Putin said it was "the best in the world. Russia is trying to create the impression that there are many hundreds of such tanks on the battlefield.
But in reality, there are about 200 of them. These are estimates as of September 2023, but there are no more recent figures in open sources. We can assume that since then they have produced several dozen more T-90Ms.
At least 5 of these tanks are already fighting on the side of Ukraine.

Okay, I have a thoroughly evil scenario for you.
You are a defense minister. Your country has inherited some Leopard 2A4s from the previous authoritarian regime, who inherited them from the people before them. Yay, Leopards, right?
However, the soldiers of the previous two regimes did not treat the tanks well, so they alresdy had many issues, and the last guys attempted active sabotage on the way out, damaging their key components and supporting infrastructure such that: to repair the broken components would be too costly and the infrastructure does not exist anymore, but replacing the tanks would be even costlier. Both options are not on the table.
Furthermore, your country is still under international sanctions and arms embargoes for crimes that may or may not have been committed by the new regime (in the process of deposing the old regime) and/or the old regime (in the process of maintaining power).
You cannot source new Leopard parts or entire new tanks, as the Germans will not trade with you.
You can only access the same contacts as the previous regime had (Russia, Iran, North Korea, Syria, etc). They will be happy to sell you their domestic tank components to fix your tanks. But getting new tanks from them is also out of your price range.
Assuming all key components (engine, sensors, gun, transmission, etc) save the armor itself (which is intact) will be replaced...
What do you use to desecrate your Leopards, in order to bring them to functioning state and have be the best actual tanks they can be again?
Why. What did I do to you? Was I not a good tankman?
Fine. Fine. I've prayed to Percy Hobart for strength, and I've assembled my list. Here we go.
Gun: 2A46M-5 125mm smoothbore out of the T-90M and T80BVM
Engine: V-92S2-F, from the T-90M
Transmission: the 5-speed in the T-80BVM
APS/ERA: Relikt ERA and Arena APS
Secondary armament: the remote weapons pod on the T90M
Sensors and C4I integration: T90M
Are you happy? Have you gotten your sick satisfaction?

Napredovanje Ukrajincev v Bahmutu, ki še niso uporabili glavnih sil in poskusi protinapadov Rusov, a brez večjih uspehov, sta zaznamovala zadnje dni.

Oh god, so now people are actively denying the War in Ukraine because “they don’t show footage of it”
Tumblr media
I thought it was a troll, but then I began to read people supporting him, with this comic getting posted
Tumblr media
And alright, I get it, many Americans hate to see their government spend money on foreign wars, something they’ve been doing for decades now, but there’s no need to go full denier like this, it just makes you and your point seem incredibly Gamer Word(TM).
I mean for fuck’s sake, one of the most famous tank battle videos of all time, the Bradleys vs a T-90M, came out just a few months ago!

Memes were made and everything!
