Peyton Elizabeth Lee and Lilan Bowden are just as close as ever!

The former Andi Mack stars have remained close since the Disney Channel series ended, and that was recently proven quite evident after Lilan gave birth to her first child.

Lilan and husband Nick Mandernach welcomed their adorable baby boy in late July, and Peyton was sure to make a visit!

The super cute photo was first shared by Peyton in a little photo dump captioned, “Silly lil goody bag of life 💖🐰🐰🫧🫨🍭🤘😵‍💫🫶💐💐”

Lilan commented on the post, “My children ❤️❤️❤️”

She then shared the pic on her on Instagram story, writing, “The children I birthed on TB and in real life meeting for the first time 😍”

Lilan then reposted the photo and clarified, “ATTENTION INTERNET: [Peyton] did not have a child. This is my child. By Disney TV law they are siblings.” LOL!

Peyton reposted that on her story and wrote, “baby brother,” along with two blue heart emojis. Awww!

After announcing the birth of her child, Lilan‘s own Instagram comments filled with love, including of course from her Andi Mack family.

Lilan and Nick eloped earlier this year, after getting engaged in August 2022, and just a few months before welcoming their son.

I hate and will always hate what religion has done to women. I had placement at the emergency department last week and I got to talking to one of the patients- an older woman. She had refused to speak to any of the doctors, she later told me because “god” told her not to but didn’t mind talking to me so the doctors had me clerk her.

Anyway, throughout the consultation she was focused only on Christianity. She rightly assumed I was west African ( the reason I suspect she agreed to speak to me) and so a charismatic Pentecostal Christian (I am not). As a result she spoke only of miracles and demons and satanism- nothing about why she was in hospital despite my attempts.

Eventually I found out she had undergone an ill-advised surgery because her pastor had told her it would work ( side note: this is why I hate private healthcare doctors sometimes because why would you do this). Of course the surgery didn’t and now she was in pain. But she didn’t believe it hadn’t worked, rather she blamed demons and Satan. In our conversation she compared herself to the biblical Job who lost everything in a test of faith. I couldn’t help but feel sorry for her.

She also recommended a televangelist who performed miracles, TB Joshua, who I had heard vaguely about. So I went home and googled and to my surprise there was a BBC podcast about the predator and his “church”. I found out that he had raped and sexually assaulted many women and girls, manipulated all his miracles and killed people as a result of shoddily built churches. He of course was never charged and is now dead.

This man was who the patient was relying on to heal her. She was praying to him and god, she even had me pray with her. I almost cried. So many women go through so much suffering, suffering they believe is deserved, because of stupid men and their stupid gods. It’s so painful.
