Since the shows seem hellbent on killing every Eclipse at least once, it's new AU time!

Meet the Respawned!AU. A doritoverse AU where Lord Eclipse had set himself up a respawn in the case of his (extremely unlikely) death. Only in true Eclipse fashion, he managed to goof it up and set himself to respawn in the form of a small child.

So the tiny baby Lord proceeds to throw a massive baby god tantrum before setting off to go find anyone to command. Of course, his everlasting Servant Sun is the first he finds, and silliness ensues, with Servant Sun catering to his young master's whims, but not without bouts of petty revenge here and there any time the opportunity presents itself.

Master is hungry? Proceeds to give him a bottle to drink from.

Master is ranting and making unreasonable demands? Plugs his mouth with a pacifier.

Master has absolutely exhausted himself with his tiny tyrant's rage? Tucks him into some blankets and watches him fall fast asleep.

Much fluff and angst to be had here!

My contribution to the Weekly DCA Magma!

Went from 'what if I drew Eclipse" to "what if I worked on my Lord Elipse!AU design" to "you have been in the magma for 10 hours go to bed". There's things I'd like to change, I want something a bit different for his design than my 'default' DCA, and I'm still not certain about the drips from his crown. But it was a lot of fun!

(If you're wondering 'shit how did you do that in _Magma_: soft eraser at about half opacity and density, soft pen also at half opacity and density, hard pen at full opacity and density. go back and forth between them to get smoother edges. use the lineart as part of the highlights. for the metal i looked up a tutorial)

GUYS, HEAR ME OUT. AU WHERE SERVANT SUN SNAPS AND KILLS LORD ECLIPSE AND STEALS THE STAR AND ENDS UP KILLING EVERYONE IN HIS RAGE BUT REGRETTING IT BUT HE CANT MANAGE TO BRING THEM BACK AND HES GOING CRAZY MISSING PEOPLE BECAUSE HES COMPLETLEY ALONE

And maybe Eclipse comes to his dimension cause he's just kind of exploring dimensions, and first SSun is spooked cause Eclipse, but he realize it isnt the lord and realizes he's kind of nice so he traps him and keeps him cause he's so lonely and just haskins of lost his mind. Obviously Eclipse isn't very happy about this but he's going up against an insane Sun with a star, what is he going to do?

And SSun still kind of sees him as his lord and has a very unhealthy attachment towards him cause he looks and sounds like his abuser but he's actually nice. And Eclipse doesn't relaly want to be there but he doesn't have much of a choice. Idk maybe Stockholm syndrome too

For clarification:

Eclipse (version 1) was Eclipse all the way back from his first appearance up until he was cast out of Sun's head

Eclipse (version 2) was the one who woke up in Bloodmoon's head. He was a backup, and he got nerfed by a satellite/space laser

Eclipse (version 3) was the version who was brought back by Ruin and then got electrocuted to death by Lunar

Eclipse (version 4) is the current Eclipse we have. The soggy wet cat of a man who still can't understand why Earth is so nice to him

I'm also including Ruin in this because. Technically, he IS an Eclipse, soooooo

I have a theory that if Creators from different dimensions can help each other in research, then what prevents villains (especially Eclipses) from different dimensions from conspiring? Together they can create a Star that will work in other universes, so, reluctantly, but several Eclipses, the evil Sun and the evil Lunar can combine. OG Eclipse was resurrected thanks to Ruin, but Ruin himself did not want this, and he is very sorry. Eclipse does not know that Ruin is good, so he was also taken into the team of villains, escaping to the dimension of Lord Eclipse. But don't worry, Ruin is there as a secret spy, and so that nothing happens to him, Solar was sent there to find out the plan of the Eclipses while Ruin is covering for him. Perhaps in the future I would like to write a fanfiction about this theory/AU, but in the meantime, here is a funny animatic

Solar and Eclipse are the type of twins that will bicker over the smallest thing, but as soon as someone else hurts the other it's over for them,

Oh and Earth basically can get any Eclipse to listen to her (Platonically), So when Eclipse and Solar fight she's the only one who can rangle them off each other,

Like if Earth gets hurt in the main dimension Solar, Eclipse and Ruin just appear out of nowhere,

So Monty's gotta be careful, I'm just saying

Imagine Earth gets hurt and every Eclipse in a 10 dimension radius just comes to her aid out of seemingly nowhere,

I would to see Eclipse and Solar have an arguement over the most silly things.

Also i think we all know that Earth collects Eclipses like Pokemons
