⋆ Chapter V - Finding Leo
Nag-Grab nalang ako papunta. Matagal pa 'yung biyahe pero hindi ako makatulog. Ite-text ko sana si Leo, kaso siya na nauna.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Grabe, hindi ba uso ang hi/hello dito?
Kaloka 'to ah. Oo nga pala noh, nasa kanya pala yung pangalan nung lugar.
Tumblr media
'Yun naman pala, kaya mo naman pala jusko. Ano kaya itsura nitong hindot na 'to?
Tumblr media
*1 Image Attached*
Or maybe... the place doesn't exist? Pero imposible 'yon! Kung ipina-demolish man 'yon, may info pa rin na lalabas sa internet. Baka naman, binago na 'yung pangalan.
Pero parang pamilyar eh...
The words "Au Revoir" seem to hit a spot...
Au Revoir...
Au Revoir...
Au Rev-
I suddenly vaguely remember the familliar sound of a wind chime, rattling as I open the door.
"Bienvenue, Madam." Greeted a female bartender from behind the bar counter.
"Good Evening, Miss." A familliar male voice spoke from beside me. Ngunit bago ako makalingon para tignan kung sino ang may-ari ng misteryosong boses-
"Huwag."
I jolted awake from the sudden ominous voice.
I brushed the uneasy feeling off and started collecting my thoughts. Napag-isipan kong isulat sa Notes app para mas organized.
Tumblr media
Huh? Ano 'to? Uy, October seven?
Pinili ko nalang muna na hindi pansinin. Nilista ko sa Notes lahat ng itatanong ko at sasabihin.
"Ask how he got my number, my photo, anong ginawa namin..."
Dito nalang rin ako magpapapick-up mamaya.
"Ah, ano, papasok na tayo sa Roxas. Ano, bungad ng Barangay 76."
Kinilabutan ako. Barangay 76?
Teka...
Nasa tapat ako ng isang roundabout. Nasa tapat ako ng isang sushi restaurant. It looks as if I've seen it before. Parang pamilyar 'yung spot na 'to. Ang weird.
Y/n, you're looking for a place that not even Google knows, and you still think this is weird?
Wait...
The dream I had. Pilit kong binalikan at inalala...
The long counter, the big sign, the light-bulbs, the windows...
The windows...teka...
Sashi's Sushi!

❀ Part 25 : Close To Me

Tumblr media Tumblr media
The midwife and the doctors all tried to coax you through the labor of your second daughter as Soobin dabbed at your forehead with a cold damp towel, his smile unfaltering as he kept his eyes on your face, mainly because he was unable to look anywhere else, remembering what it was like to watch Seonnis head crowning and the queasy feeling that he got in his stomach.
“Oh I fucking hate you, I do!” You shouted as you squeezed Soobins hand tightly, a tingly feeling forming as the circulation was cut off to his fingers. When you had Seonni you had been cursing out Yeonjun, and it was far worse than what he was hearing now, and he knew it was only because of the pain you were feeling, so he didn’t let it upset him. “Why is her head so fucking big!?” You screeched, your own head falling against the pillow as you tried to catch your breath, tears streaming down your cheeks and Soobins hand unable to wipe away the sweat that continuously beaded up on your forehead fast enough.
He took one quick peek between your legs and winced at the sight of his daughter's head slowly making its way out. “Oh, but you’re doing so great, baby…” He cooed to you, placing the damp towel on your forehead so he could use his thumb to wipe away the tears that were falling down your cheeks. “And you look so beautiful, so so beautiful.” He pursed his lips when you shot him a glare, your eyes narrowed and he didn’t know if you were growling because you were pushing so hard or because you were mad at him, but the words that came from between your clenched teeth had him stifling a chuckle.
“I look like the fucking excorcist right now! Try pushing a watermelon out of your dick hole you fucker!” You screeched and Soobin couldn’t do anything but nod and feel empathetic for the pain you were going through although he knew he’d never feel anything like it. “My entire vagina is ripping apart!”
You screamed once more and then the doctors cheered as the head came out completely, and Soobin let out a heavy breath of relief, the tears already stinging his eyes as he glanced over at the head of his daughter that was completely out, and with two more pushes she was finally there. “She’s here…” Soobin whispered as you practically collapsed against the bed, your chest rising and falling heavily and your eyes already beginning to close from the exhaustion of the whole thing.
Cutting the cord was one of the best moments, knowing that once she was cleaned up he’d be able to hold her. His own daughter, and while Seonni was, in his eyes and his heart, his real daughter as well, he still had to share her with Yeonjun. He wouldn’t have to share Binna, she was his, he wouldn’t have to keep her a secret, he wouldn’t have to hide her from the world, he wouldn’t have to lie. He was truly her dad, and he couldn’t wait to bring her home to Seonni who he knew would be the best big sister to the new baby.
“How are you feeling?” Soobin asked, his tone hushed as he brushed his fingers through your hair, the smile of pride that only a father could wear stretching across his face as he looked down into his arms, Binna cradled there snuggly, swaddled in blankets as he rocked her.
The medicine had finally worn off and everything about the delivery was a blur after the nap that you had taken, although you weren’t sure how long the nap was. “Was I mean?” You asked, reaching up to run your fingers along the tiny bundle of blankets in Soobins arms. His eyes widened momentarily before quickly shaking his head.
“Of course not… you were an absolute sweetheart, baby.” He said, sitting down on the edge of the bed, looking down at his daughter and you could almost see the love that he held for her in his eyes. “She’s so beautiful… I can’t wait for Seonni to meet her.”
You hummed softly, scooting over a bit so that Soobin would have room, and you didn’t think that it would be possible, but you fell more in love with him the longer you watched him with Binna. “Have you called Junnie? How’s Seonni doing? Did you text Cheol to tell him that she’s here? Do the other guys know?” You were filled with questions, it honestly felt like your nap had lasted days instead of the couple hours that it probably really was.
Soobin chuckled, his attention still fully on Binna, the softest sigh leaving her pouted lips as he brushed his fingers lightly across her cheek. “They all know, I texted the group chat. Yeonjun hasn’t told Seonni yet because he knows that once he does she’ll be begging him to bring her up to the hospital. They all said congratulations though, and they can’t wait to meet her.” He finally pulled his gaze away from her to look at you, his eyes crinkled in the corners from how wide he was smiling.
“Have you rested since we’ve been here?” You asked, noticing the black circles that were forming under his eyes, and he hummed quietly, a sound that he often made to try to avoid answering something, and you eyes him accusingly before holding out your arms. “Sleep, Binnie…” You cooed as he placed your daughter in your arms, his smile fading into a small, dramatic pout. “I swear, you’re not going to miss a lot. I need you to sleep, you’re our ride home, remember?” You teased, and he rolled his eyes, leaning over to press a kiss to the top of Binnas head before craning his neck to kiss you softly.
“I love you so much…” Soobin whispered, looking between you and your daughter as his hand pet over the top of her head, watching with pure adoration as a small smile tugged up at the corner of her lips. “Everything is perfect now… And…” He stood up from the bed, and you could actually see his cheeks gradually turning a light shade of pink as he cleared his throat, lowering himself down onto his knee beside your bed and fumbling in pockets of his sweatpants. “Cheol finally gave me the okay…” He said, chuckling nervously as he fished the small black velvet box out of his pocket, smiling sheepishly up at you as he opened the box. “I want to stay with you, and Seonni, and Binna… Forever and ever…” He whispered as he plucked the ring out of the box and carefully slid it on your finger. “I promise to love you with all of my heart until it stops beating… You and our girls will always come before anything and everyone else… and I’ll do everything and anything I can to make sure the three of you are always happy, and that you always feel loved.” He let out a shaky breath, his emotions evident in his glossy eyes and trembling bottom lip.
He was truly perfect, the only man that you could see yourself spending the rest of your life with, and now, with the ring on your finger and your daughter in your arms and Soobin pushing himself up off the floor to squeeze into the bed beside you, you knew that there was nowhere else you would be in life other than beside him.

Just Us (Choi Yeonjun x Celebrity Reader)
Description:
Most of the people might think that having wealth, fame and notoriety can bring you the feeling of happiness and contentment associated with being a celebrity. However, from what you are experiencing as a famous celebrity in the Philippines who is highly visible in the media, it is taking a tremendous toll on your psychological functioning. No privacy. Everything you do is publicized for the world to see, discuss, and mock.
But the one that you are dealing the most difficult is the "Lost sense of self". Like other celebrities, you are feeling that you are unable to assert your individuality in a media world fraught with stereotypes. As the media and fans develop a false perception of you as a celebrity, you begin to lose track of the multi-faceted aspects of your own personality. This causes you to make choices that no longer reflect your true self, which further compromises your sense of identity.
Feeling like this, you want to break free, even just for a while from your drama roles, from the fans, haters, media, from the fame. You just want to even with some small time find your true self. You are now taking a risk alone to have a vacation to a foreign place that you hope that no one will notice you as a celebrity.

Hi! Can I request a beomgyu x male reader x taehyun where Beomgyu and reader are not talking because they are mad with each other, so Taehyun calls both to a room and tells them to talk? You can make it fluffly in the end, please? Full of kisses and hugs!
∘₊✧─ Forgive Me? ─✧₊∘
- 21 Aug 2020
- I immmediately started writing after you asked so uh- I’m sorry if it’s too long 😅😅
- and I’m sorry if it’s not great, this is the first request I’ve ever done 🙈
- credits of the gif don’t belong to me but to the original maker!

Beomgyu sighed as he lied down in Taehyun's bed, his arms crossed and his lips protruding in a pout. Taehyun raised an eyebrow at him, confused as to what was going on. He knew Beomgyu and y/n hadn't been talking for a few days, but he hadn't managed to get Beomgyu to tell him why. Taehyun wanted to mind his own business, but something about Beomgyu's pout made him extra curious.
"Okay. Tell me now. Why are you still so angry at y/n?" Taehyun sat down on the side of the bed, placing a hand on Beomgyu's shoulder. "Nevermind. It doesn't matter." "Yes it does. If you keep holding that angry pout for any longer, your face will stay like that permanently." Beomgyu gasped softly and looked at Taehyun.
"Not true. That can't happen." "Then stop angry pouting and tell me what's going on!" Taehyun stroked over Beomgyu's side. "I'm worried. You're not talking and your mood has never been this down. Please, please tell me." Beomgyu sighed and sat up, his arms still crossed.
"Y/n cheated." "What?!" Taehyun gasped. "He did what?! Oh- he's going to get-" Beomgyu shushed Taehyun by covering his mouth. "But y/n says he was tipsy and with a good friend, so I'm probably making this all up for attention." Taehyun tilted his head, not getting the situation.
"So, was he cheating or no?" "I don't know! He keeps saying he was tipsy and stuff. How can I trust his word after he's been drunk and forgetfull but there are texts to prove it!" Beomgyu looked at Taehyun, sighing once more and lying down again. Taehyun nodded and got up. "Wait here." Taehyun ruffled Beomgyu's hair before walking out of the room. Beomgyu huffed and nuzzled his face in the pillow, shutting himself off from the outside world.
━━━━━━━━ ✤ ━━━━━━━━
Taehyun walked to the shared living space in their dorm, grabbing his phone from the dinner table. He searched for y/n's number, but after calling multiple times, he still got no answer. He sighed and walked to Yeonjun and Soobin's room, knocking on the door. "Yeonjun, can I get your phone?"
Yeonjun opened the door, his hair messy and slightly panting. "Uh yeah, why?" "I need to call y/n, but he won't pick up when I call. Maybe it would help if I call with your phone.. since you're the leader.." Yeonjun quickly got his phone and handed it to Taehyun. "Good luck. Knock again if you need me." Yeonjun closed the door again, leaving Taehyun slightly suspicious. He shrugged and walked back, sitting down on the couch.
He called y/n again, mumbling softly to pray he would pick up. He gasped softly as he heard y/n's voice answer, smiling as he sat up straight. "Y/n! It's- It's Taehyun. Look, I know you and Beomgyu-" "Tae, I don't want to talk about this. Beomgyu has acted very immaturely and he needs to apologize first." "But- he says... wait.. Beomgyu thinks you should apologize, but you say Beomgyu should be the one to forgive you..." Taehyun furrowed his eyebrows, taking a deep breath.
"Right, well.. just.. let us be, okay?" "No no, please.. Y/n, can you come to the dorm? Please? We need to talk this out, it's horrible to see you two like this." Taehyun heard a deep sigh at the other end of the line, and he could imagine y/n's face being in deep thinking mode. "You don't have to talk to Beomgyu. I'll be the mediator." "Well.. fine. I'll be there in a bit." "Okay! Great! Thanks y/n. See you in a bit." "Yeah. Bye."
Taehyun smiled and hung up, suddenly realizing he needed a plan. He wasn't gonna be a mediator, he didn't want to be inbetween them in a fight.. But how would he lure y/n into getting close to Beomgyu? Taehyun smirked as he thought out a plan, walking to Beomgyu to make the first move.
━━━━━━━━ ✤ ━━━━━━━━
As Taehyun heard a knock on the door, he shushed Beomgyu and quickly ran to the front door. Taehyun opened the door, smiling at y/n. "Hey, you came." "Yes I did." Y/n stepped inside, sighing deeply. "Now, where's Beomgyu?" "Oh don't worry. Just go into my room." "Your room? Can't we talk in the living room?" Taehyun shook his head as he gently pushed y/n in the direction of his room.
"No. Yeonjun and Beomgyu have gone out for a bit, so it's safer to talk in my room if you don't want to be interrupted." Y/n sighed and stepped into the room, taking off his jacket. But after he had heard the door close and lock, he froze. "Tae! If this is some kind of prank I-" Y/n had turned around, suddenly facing Beomgyu. "Beom?"
Beomgyu stared angrily at y/n, his arms crossed. "Now speak up, liar. Did you cheat on me?" "I did not!" Y/n threw his hands in the air. "I swear Beomgyu, I didn't! I don't know what you read in those texts and how you even got them but.." Beomgyu turned his head away. "I just.. I want to believe you but.." "But what? Why don't you trust me.."
Y/n walked to Beomgyu, putting his hands on his shoulders. "I just... I don't want to believe it's true, but I'm scared it is.." Beomgyu averted his eyes, trying to stay calm. Y/n sighed and looked down. "Beomgyu.. I had two glasses of wine.. I was with my best friend and.. we did some stupid things.." Beomgyu stayed quiet, still not looking at y/n.
"I sent some texts to my best friend, joking about how we would be together and.. yeah.. we send some sexts as a prank but.. I swear Beomgyu, I'm not cheating on you." Y/n cupped Beomgyu's face, making him look at him. "Please... forgive me? I never meant to make you doubt our relationship.."
━━━━━━━━ ✤ ━━━━━━━━
Beomgyu eventually gave in and hugged y/n tightly. Y/n let out a sigh of relief and wrapped his arms around Beomgyu, holding him close. "My dear Beom, I won't ever cheat on you. I promise, okay?" Beomgyu nodded and y/n could hear his sniffles. "I'm s-sorry for ever doubting you~" Y/n smiled and almost melted at the cuteness of Beomgyu's apology. He kissed Beomgyu's head and held him even thighter.
"I forgive you. Now let's forget all this. Let's act as if it never happened." Beomgyu nodded and tried to hide his tear-stained face in y/n's chest. Y/n hummed and rocked back and forth a bit, before carefully picking Beomgyu up. "Did you miss me? I missed you.. your cuddles and your soft voice." "I missed you so much y/n.. I.. I whined every night.. I couldn't sleep without Taehyun cuddling me.."
Y/n lied down on Taehyun's bed, letting Beomgyu lie on top of him. Beomgyu nuzzled into y/n's chest, listening to his heartbeat. Y/n crawled through Beomgyu's hair, relaxing as he was happy everything was resolved. He heard the door unlock and turned his head, seeing Taehyun peek into the room. Y/n smiled and whispered a 'thank you' to Taehyun, who smiled back at the sight of Beomgyu with his boyfriend lying so peacefully. He left them alone again, telling the others to leave the two on their own. Y/n and Beomgyu cuddled the rest of the day, showering eachother in kisses once every few minutes.

➥ Episode : 1 TW : kidnapping?? ; generally creepy ; Word Count : 1.0k ◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇
Buzzing, but it was faint, like a distant ringing in your ears that you couldn’t quite place, but if you could try… Like an old lightbulb, one that would explain the light that you could see through closed eyes, a light that illuminated the insides of your eyelids and had you squirming where you lay.
You couldn’t have been asleep that long, it didn’t feel like more than five minutes since your eyes had shut, but you knew that the sun wouldn’t… it shouldn’t be as bright as the light that seemed to be right overhead. With a bit of reluctance, you opened your eyes, wiping the sleep from them before looking around.
The room that you were in wasn’t your living room, it wasn’t any room that you had ever seen before in your life. It was bare, it was empty aside from the bed that you had been laying on, and a wooden chair in the corner. The walls were painted a nauseating mustard yellow and the floor was carpeted with an even uglier fuzzy orange rug. It screamed outdated, vintage even, and that in itself sent an unnerving feeling washing through you as you ran to the door on the other side of the room.
“Good morning, Y/N!” A voice spoke over what you could only assume to be a speaker, although when you looked around the room you couldn’t seem to find anything that the voice would come through. It was a deep voice, but you could hear the amusement in it, something that had you panicking, breathing far too fast and causing you to become lightheaded quickly. “I’m sure that this is confusing for you, so before I bring you out to our guests, how about you take a seat and I’ll explain everything to you.”
It’s not like you had a choice in the matter, the door that you had been trying to leave through was locked from the other side, and the wood was so thick that any amount of punching or kicking would only result in you getting hurt. “What is this… Where am I?” You asked, looking around the room once more and taking a moment to take it all in, just how strange it was. There were no windows, no pictures, nothing that would indicate that this room had at any point before you been used.
The sound of the lock being undone had your head whipping back in the direction of the door, and the person that walked in wasn’t someone that you had ever seen before in your life, and the wide smile that he was wearing was in no way comforting, if anything, it was eerie and uncomfortable, and you found yourself scooting further up to bed to try to create a distance between you and the strange man. “No need to be scared.” He said, but his mouth didn’t move the way it should have while saying the words, and his smile never faded or faltered. “You’re on the Dating Game, and we have a crowd of people waiting to meet the new contestant.”
The Dating Game… Of course… Now it all makes sense. You were simply dreaming, lucid dreaming, about the VHS tape that you had received in the mail. Everything about the tape had been odd, down to the way that you had come about being the owner of it, and that’s why the dream felt so strange. “Alright… Well, I’m gonna wake up now.” You said, laying back down in the bed and closing your eyes, hoping that if you fell asleep in the dream that you’d wake up back in your own apartment, on the couch that you had fallen asleep on.
A chuckle sounded from the man, and it was robotic, creepy, and you squeezed your eyes tighter just to be sure that you wouldn’t slip up and take a peek at the man that was the embodiment of a nightmare. “You are awake, Y/N. You’re on The Dating Game, and our audience is waiting to meet you. Now…” The bed shifted and you could only assume that the robotic man had taken a seat on the edge of the bed, and the thought of him being so close had you tensing up, but unable to move any further away. “I’m sure you’ve heard of games like this, shows that have gone by the same name. They were fun, but they were all the same, and they were quite boring. The rules of our dating game are slightly different, yet very simple. If you play by the rules, you’ll be able to leave, and I do believe that you’ll be a very happy girl when you go back.”
Your eyes slowly opened, and you dared to look at the man who was closer than you had thought he would be. His eyes were lifeless, and the smile was like that of a dead man, and the fear that raced through your veins was indescribable and equal to no other fear that you had felt before. “What… What are the rules? How did I get here?”
Those two questions were asked completely backwards, and you realized a little too late that the answer to your second question wouldn’t be given. “You get to pick the men that you’d like to end up with, but in the end, you can only choose one. You have to go on three dates each, with all five of the men. I don’t think you’d mind all that much.” Your eyes narrowed at the miniscule, vague sounding rules, waiting for more, but the man simply stood up from the bed. “No need to think too hard about who your choices will be… We know everything about you, Y/N… And we do believe that your episodes will be liked very much by our audience and those watching back at home.”
And with that, he walked out of the room, leaving you even more confused and far more terrified than you had even felt before. Was there even a point in trying to open the door again? What were you supposed to do? You didn’t know where you were, the entire thing felt like a horrid fever dream that you couldn’t get yourself to wake up from. You just wanted to go home, you wanted to be back on your couch with your soap operas playing in the background. You wanted to be anywhere but where you were at right now, but it didn’t seem like that would happen anytime soon.

It felt like you had been sitting in that chair for hours, faking excitement as you answered all the questions that the guys asked, they themselves pretending to be just as ecstatic as you were to appease the man that was standing in front of all of you. The feeling of dread never vanished, it didn’t matter how long you were there, it didn’t matter that your favorite stars in the whole world were sitting just a few inches away from you. Nothing could make that fear subside, nothing but the safety and familiarity of your own home.
“Alright Y/N, now… it’s your turn.” The host looked at you, and you gulped loudly, trying not to make direct eye contact with the man, knowing that it would only freak you out more if you actually looked into his eyes. “Which one of these 5 handsome men do you think is more interested in you?” The question was strange, the entire thing in and of itself was absolutely crazy, but you had never heard a question like that asked on a game like this. How the hell were you supposed to know? It didn’t seem like any of them were interested in anything but getting home, just like you.
You thought for a few seconds, the prying eyes of not only the man, but the audience behind him had you feeling on edge, you felt rushed, it was like standing in the front of a classroom giving a presentation. If you picked one, you wouldn’t be able to see all of them, and you wanted to make sure they were okay, you wanted to see if they had any kind of information that might be a little bit different from yours. Did they know how they got here? “All of them.” You blurted out, looking out of the corner of your eye at the guys who all leaned forward to get a look at you.
The audience laughed loudly as the host chuckled into the microphone that he was holding. “Now now, there’s no rush to meet all of them. You’ll get your time with each of them, we gotta get through the process first.” The man joked, taking a step towards your chair, and somehow, for the first time since seeing him, he seemed to have an expression, but it was simply annoyance. “Now… Pick one of the men.” He said a little more sternly, and you hated how close he was to you, how the proximity had your heart racing and your stomach sinking.
You didn’t have an actual favorite, you loved them all just the same, but Yeonjun had seemed the most pissed off, and you didn’t want him to think for another second that this was somehow your masterplan. “I’ll uh… I’ll pick… Yeonjun?” You whispered, and the man took a step back, even the small amount of distance allowing you to take a deep breath and slightly relax.
The man’s hands clapped together as he motioned to Yeonjun, a large spotlight coming down on him. “Our lucky date number 1, everyone!” He exclaimed, and the crowd once again cheered. The entire thing was just uncomfortable, everything about it was eerie. “You two can meet backstage while I lead the other 4 back to their rooms.”
Yeonjun jumped up from his chair, immediately defensive of the guys who sat next to him, but even with his muscles and the amount that he worked out, it was no challenge for the robotic man and simply pushed him aside to motion for the others to follow him. “Where are you taking them? What are you doing?!” Yeonjun shouted, but the man didn’t listen, he didn’t offer up any explanation, and your heart sank into the pit of your stomach watching the men look so helpless as they followed after the man.
You feared for them too, you didn’t know exactly what kind of game this was, you didn’t know what would happen to the other guys if you didn’t pick them. All you wanted to know was that they were safe, and Yeonjun wanted the same information, but the both of you were left in the dark, left confused and terrified on the sound stage. “Yeonjun and Y/N can come backstage now.” A voice spoke over the speakers that were somewhere in the room, but the last thing you wanted to do was go hunting for them.
The both of you started walking towards the exit doors on the other side of the stage, and as you did, the overhead lights were shut off, paired with the clicking of a lightswitch each time an area went dark. That in itself was creepy, but the worst part was that you had never watched any of the audience members leave, but when you spared one look behind you, they were all gone, the seats that they had once been sitting in were shrouded by darkness.
“Alright, talk.” Yeonjun snapped once the both of you were in the hallway just outside of the stage room. “What is this place? Where the hell are the guys at?!” God, you wished you could give him answers, you wished you could take him to the guys and all 6 of you could get the hell out of there, but you were just as baffled and lost as he was.
“I don’t know.” You hissed, trying to keep your voice low out of fear that you were still being watched or listened to. “I fell asleep… And I woke up here…” Your eyes darted around the hall to make sure no one was coming, or more likely in this type of place, watching you guys. “I got… This weird tape in the mail and-”
His hand came up to stop you, his eyes narrowed as he seemed to study your face. “You got the tape too?” You nodded your head in agreement, watching as his face went from confusion, to understanding, and then right back to confusion once again. “I thought it was some weird nostalgic marketing tactic for a new tv show…” He muttered, and you shook your head.
“It’s weird, this whole place is just… weird. I was locked in a room for… I don’t even know how long. It’s like… there’s no time… time doesn’t exist here.” You rambled, not even realizing that your voice had been rising in volume until Yeonjun hushed you, his finger coming down on your lips as he glared at you. “Sorry…” You muttered once he had pulled his finger away, your eyes lowering to the ground.
“We have to be quiet… They’re watching us…” He murmured, and it was like being in a horror movie except you didn’t know who the killer was or even if there was a killer at all. It was just scary because of the unknown. “It would have been impossible for anyone to get all five of us at the same time… One of us would have woken up…” He mused, his eyes flicking back and forth as if he were trying to scan his brain for some sort of explanation for all of this, but he was coming up short. “We have to find a way out…”
“Does your room have windows?” You asked, and he blinked a few times, slightly thrown by your question, but he seemed to be in deep thought for a moment before his head slowly shook. “Mine doesn’t either… I don’t… I don’t know where we are, or what this place is… But I’m scared… I’m so scared…” You sniffled softly and he seemed even more confused about what to do, his hands twitching as if he wanted to comfort you, but he didn’t know how, so he simply shushed you, trying to give you a small smile although you knew it was forced, at least he was trying.
“Don’t… Don’t cry… It’s gonna be okay. I’m sure… I’m sure that if we don’t find a way out of here ourselves… The whole world will be looking for us.” He gave two thumbs up as if to try to reassure you, but you knew that what he meant was that the entire world would be looking for him and the other guys. No one would really care if you were there or not, you’d simply just be found alongside them. “Let’s just try to… do what they tell us to… And we’ll be fine… We’ll be alright.”

Both you and Yeonjun stood in the middle of the empty hallway, it seemed to go down for miles, and just the thought of what lay at the end of the hallway, the unknown of everything that was going on, it had your heart racing with a fear that you never wanted to be able to compare to anything else. The only sound at this point were your soft sniffles that you tried your best to muffle against the palm of your hand.
A large door swung open, the creaking of the hinges had you tensing up and looking in the direction that the sound came from, and you could hear Yeonjuns breaths come to a halt as his eyes glanced around. All of you, every fiber of your being wanted to hide against him, to find some sort of comfort in his chest that you could bury your face in just to avoid what or who was coming, but you knew that you couldn’t, not with him.

All of you, every fiber of your being wanted to hide against him, to find some sort of comfort in his chest that you could bury your face in just to avoid what or who was coming, but you knew that you couldn’t, not with him.
Loud footsteps clacked against the floors, the sound seeming… off, considering the floors were carpeted, yet it sounded like hard bottomed dress shoes against wooden floors. Nothing about this place made any sense, and that in itself scared the hell out of you. The sound of the steps got closer, and you and Yeonjun kept your eyes trained on where the sound was coming from until someone came up behind you, clearing their throat and causing the both of you to whip around in both shock and confusion.
“I apologize for the wait. Some things came up that had to be handled, but now we can get on with your date.” The man, who looked quite similar to the one that had come into your room and hosted the show, but the hair color was just slightly different, and the eyes were a bright shade of ice blue instead of the dark, almost black color that the other man had. “Is there anywhere that the two of you would like to go? Anything you’d like to do?”
It was strange how this man who was almost a carbon copy of the other was somehow nicer, and while he still creeped you out to no end, you felt slightly more comfortable around him. Maybe it was the smile on his face that sent wrinkles forming at the creases of his eyes, it made him seem more real, less robotic than the first guy. Or maybe it was the fact that you were standing next to Yeonjun who, at some point while the man was standing in front of the both of you, had taken a sort of protective stance, moving just enough in front of you in case anything were to happen.
“I want to go home. I want them to be able to go home.” You responded as sternly as you could, but your voice wavered and cracked, your throat drying up instantaneously just from standing in front of the man. The eyes that you had, for a moment, found kindness in, now turned darker as they narrowed, his smile fading immediately. “Please. I don’t want to play this game, I’m scared… Please.”
The man sighed, looking between you and Yeonjun, and then as if at the click of a button or the flick of a switch, his smile was back. “There’s nothing to be scared of. I don’t know why you would be scared anyway. You are surrounded by the men that you’ve been dreaming of for a while now. This should be a dream come true.” It took everything to not outwardly cringe at being exposed like that, but it wasn’t just the embarrassment of having Yeonjun hear that from the man, but there was an uncomfortable sensation that washed over you when you realized that the man knew… He knew, and you didn’t know how. Had they been watching you back at your house? “Don’t be frightened, in due time you will settle in. Now, tell me… Where would you like to go?”
Yeonjun huffed loudly through his nose, standing completely in front of you now, his body tense and you could feel the annoyance radiating off of him. “We’ll play your stupid game, but if you lay a finger on one of the guys, or her…” He stopped himself, his fists clenched at his sides, and the man in front of you both simply nodded, his smile now just as robotic as the first guy.
“I do not have any intentions of causing harm to you, your friends, or the girl. We simply want to create a fun show that everyone will enjoy. I’m sure that you all will enjoy the experience as well.” The man stated factually, beginning to pull something out of his pocket, and Yeonjuns arms instantly stretched out as if to block you completely, hiding you from the sights of the guy. “This…” He held a piece of paper in his hand, looking it over before handing it over to Yeonjun. “Is a list of all the places you can go. Make your decision quickly, we need to finish this episode.”
He bowed to both you and Yeonjun before turning on his heel and walking away, the clicking of his shoes growing more and more faint until completely disappearing once he turned down a corner. “What… What does it say?” You asked, trying to read the paper over his shoulder, cursing just how tall he was since you were still behind him. “Are there any addresses on there? Maybe we can see where we are?” You finally stepped around Yeonjun to get a better view of the list, but he started reading out the words that were written on the paper.
“Pool, Restaurant, Movie Theater?” He muttered the words, shaking his head. “These are all just generic ass names, there aren’t any addresses or anything. Listen to this. Ice Rink, Roller Skating, Amusement Park. There’s nothing… No company names or anything.” It should have been obvious that this is how things would be set up, but you wondered how things would continue to be hidden from you and the guys. How would you be taken to these places? “Do any of them sound fun to you?”
Your eyes flashed up at Yeonjun, confusion littering your features at the question. “Are you serious?” He shrugged, running his hand through his hair. “I just want to go home… None of those sound fun. I’m not going to pretend to have fun for the sake of this… whatever this is.” You stepped back, slumping against the wall and sliding down to the floor, your head falling against your knees.
“You don’t have to pretend…” Yeonjun hummed, folding up the paper and dropping to the floor next to you. “Look, I don’t know how long we’re stuck here, I don’t know what the hell is going on, but you… we should make the most of it. Just look at it as… As an opportunity to get to know us… To get to hang out with us.” You rolled your eyes, unable to grasp how he could be so optimistic when he was the one literally on the verge of attacking you because he thought you had kidnapped his best friends about 20 minutes ago. “Just pick something, anything.”
You lifted your head up, only for it to fall back against the wall behind you. “We should be trying to figure out how to get out of here, but your plan is to… play into this shit? To go on a date? Who the hell is this shit getting broadcasted to anyway?” Your hands fell against your face, groaning loudly into your palms as they slid down to slap against your lap.
His eyes darted back and forth, and then up at the ceiling before he moved closer to you, his arm resting on the wall beside your head as his lips inched closer to the shell of your ear. “We need to get out of whatever the hell this place is first, then we can figure out where we are.” He spared one last look around, and somehow managed to move closer, his hot breath dampening your skin where it landed as he continued to speak. “I say we pick the restaurant… It’s cheesy, it’s common… They won’t suspect anything if one of us go to the restroom… Just go with my plan. We’ll get out of here. Okay?”
You couldn’t do anything but nod in agreement, it’s not like you had any other choice. You could either be stuck in this place for however long the show went on, or you could try to find a way out now. The optimism was nothing but a ploy, an act to get whoever was watching to believe that they were fully in control. “Right…” You murmured, trying to be just as hopeful as he was, to believe that his plan would work in the end.

Laying in the strange bed, you stared up at the ceiling, eyes dry from keeping them open, scared to blink and, although you felt exhausted, you were terrified of falling asleep. Your mind was plagued with images of the horrifically strange robotic man that had come into the room, the man who’s dead eyes and ghastly smile had ingrained themselves into your mind. If you stared at the blank walls for longer than 5 seconds, you could swear that his face was coming through the mustard yellow paint, peering into the room just to watch you.
And while it wasn’t exactly true that this man was coming through the walls, you were, without a doubt, beyond all points of certainty, sure that you were being watched. Sometimes, if you got quiet enough, if you could still your rapidly beating heart for more than a couple seconds, you could hear the motorized whirring of a camera that you couldn’t quite see, but you knew it was there. You could feel the eyes of whoever it was watching you through whatever screen the camera feed was coming up on. Were they bored? Did they enjoy watching your fear as you lay awake in that room?

You could feel the eyes of whoever it was watching you through whatever screen the camera feed was coming up on. Were they bored? Did they enjoy watching your fear as you lay awake in that room?
You hadn’t fallen asleep, you were sure of it, although there was no way to tell the passing of time while you were in the room. There were no clocks, there were no windows, there was no light aside from the small fixture that hung in the center of the room, giving off a dim burnt out yellow light that barely touched the corners. Things had been silent for so long that the sudden uproar of cheers was heard as clearly as if they were in the same room as you. That, along with music that you could have sworn you heard on your tv screen when you had fallen asleep back at your apartment.
You pushed yourself up off the bed, tiptoeing towards the door to press your ear against it, trying to make out something, anything, that would give you any sort of clue as to where you were right now. “We have some very special guests here today on The Dating Game! I’m sure that you and everyone back at home will love this next lucky dater and her very very special choices.” The voice said with an obnoxious amount of enthusiasm, but the crowd seemed to love it, erupting into another round of applause.
The sudden sound of footsteps coming close to the door had you backing up, standing in the middle of the room wide eyed, unsure of what to do, and it’s not like you could think of anywhere to go. Into the room came a woman, the sight of her filling you with sudden relief, and you ran over to her, grabbing her hands without a second thought. “Please, help me. You have to get me out of here…” You whispered to her, your words rushed as you continued to peek behind her to make sure no one else was coming. “Where am I? Where are we? Please!” You begged, and it wasn’t until you finally looked into the eyes of the woman that you realized.
She was no different from the man that had come in earlier. Her eyes were as dead and glassy as his had been, and her smile was just as creepy. “You’re on the dating game.” She said monotonously, and just the same as the man, her mouth didn’t move when she spoke. “It’s time to get you changed. The audience is very excited to meet you.” A dreadful feeling panged in your chest and descended into your stomach as you tried to pull away from the woman, instantly regretting having grabbed her in your moment of desperation, for her grip on your hands was tight now, and no amount of pulling would free you from her grasp.
There was no use in fighting it, or even fighting against her. At least you were being led out of the room, and maybe something in this place would tell you where you were at. You let your eyes scan the halls that you were following her down, the walls bare, but they were white, a nice change from the sickening color of the room you had been locked in. You had never seen anything like this place though, and the corridor was so long it seemed endless, the building that it was in had to have been massive. There were doors that seemed to span every couple of feet, and you tried to listen for anyone or anything behind those doors, but there seemed to be nothing, just an unnerving endless silence.
It wasn’t until she got to the last door at the end of the hall that she finally stopped and opened it, and inside was what appeared to be a dressing room, and beside the chair was a woman who seemed to wear the same mask as the one that had taken you out of the initial room. The robot theory was seeming more and more plausible, but you figured that it would be useless to bring it up, it was pointless to say anything, they all seemed to be running off the same script.
The outfits that lined the racks were vintage, striped shirts with colors that you hadn’t seen paired together since you looked at old pictures of family members. The pants flared at the bottom so wide, and the products that lined the vanity type table all had the labels and logos from decades ago. The only thought that came to mind was that whoever was running this sick game had spent a lot of time and a lot of money on eBay to get things right. If you weren’t so scared, you’d commend them, whoever they were, for their dedication to the era.
You tried to let yourself relax as the robotic woman did your makeup and your hair, the only optimistic thought in your mind though was the fact that the creepy man from earlier hadn’t returned. Maybe you jinxed it, maybe you had gotten too relaxed in the chair as you let your eyes shut momentarily, because as soon as you opened them, the man was standing beside your chair staring straight at you. “You’re ready.”
His voice would have been the creepiest thing if not for the vagueness of the statement. Ready for what? You tried to anchor yourself into the chair, your fingers gripping the arms of it until your palms were stinging and your knuckles paled, but it was no use. He grabbed your elbow and pulled you up as if you were weighed no more than a feather, causing you to gasp out in surprise. “Please, I just want to go home. I don’t… I don’t want to be here. What are you doing?” You begged and you pleaded, but he shook his head, the movement was like an animatronic.
“Your home has been prepared and you will be taken there shortly after the episode is filmed.” The episode? What the hell was he talking about? In your attempt to try to figure it out, you had been led out of the dressing room and back into the long hallway, heading the opposite direction towards two double doors, the bright sign above it read sound stage. Was this all some kind of show? A strange reality horror show? You surely hadn’t signed up for it.
You were in a haze, a sort of fog surrounding your mind as the double doors were pushed open. The crowd roared with applause, and you could barely focus on one person, they all looked the same, they all dressed the same, and they were all dressed like you. How had this person found so many people who were willing to take part in something like this? The set was strangely outdated, not just the props and the lighting, but it seemed like the entire atmosphere changed. It truly felt like you were teleported back in time, and it was such an uneasy feeling it had your stomach turning and your head spinning.
There was a single chair on one side of the wall, and you were sat down in the chair before the man headed to the other side. At least he was away from you, but the feeling of eyes on you were everywhere, not just from the audience in front of you, but you felt it from behind and from the sides, but you were too scared to look. Instead you kept your eyes down on the corduroy pattern of the beige bell bottoms that you were wearing.
The theme music started up again, the crowd cheered, and then they were silent. Your heart was racing, your breaths came out quickly, you were sweating profusely. This couldn’t possibly be a dream, there was too much detail, it was too real. “Welcome back viewers at home! Our special guest is now here, and on the other side of this wall are five lucky men, but only one will be lucky enough to end up with our lovely lady.” The crowd cheered again, and then the man was in front of you, holding the microphone up to your mouth. “How about you introduce yourself to our amazing audience and our wonderful viewers.”
What would happen if you didn’t? What if you just went against everything that the man said? Would they let you go or would you be locked back in the mustard room? You were too scared of whatever outcome there might be if you disobeyed, so you took a shaky breath before speaking. “I’m uh… I’m Y/N… H-Hi…” You stammered, and you were certain that the fear that you were feeling laced every single word you managed to say.
“Perfect! It’s very nice to have you here Y/N, thank you for joining us!” The man said, as if you had any say in this. Did the people in the audience think that you were a willing participant in whatever the hell all of this is? “Let’s meet our handsome men on the other side, shall we?” The woman in the audience roared to life, standing from their seats just to clap and whistle at whoever was on the other side of the wall. “We’ll start with you. What’s your name?”
There was a silence, and then a small grunt, and you wanted nothing more than to peer behind the wall for a moment to see who these men were and what was going on. “Yeonjun… Choi Yeonjun.” The voice said, and it felt like you were about to faint. That couldn’t possibly be who was on the other side, not at all. It had to have been a coincidence. How would he have even gotten here? Of course, you didn’t know where here was, but it couldn’t have been the Choi Yeonjun that you knew.
The man continued to go down the line, and with each name that was given, you sunk deeper and deeper into your chair. It was impossible, but coincidences like this didn’t happen. For all five men to have the same exact names as all of the members of your favorite group… It couldn’t be. “They’re very handsome indeed, and we can thank Y/N for choosing such fine young men to be the contestants.” The man said, and your head quickly whipped over to him as he emerged from the other side of the wall. Why would they be thanking you? You weren’t the one that brought them here. “Shall we slide back the wall? Let Y/N see her future dates?” The audience screamed in agreement, and you watched as the man pushed the wall back, and then you saw them.
It really was them, it was all of them, and they all looked at you with such confusion, such fear, you wanted to jump out of your chair and run to them, apologize to them even though you were just as confused as they were. “What the hell is this?!” Yeonjun shouted, getting up from his own chair, and while you thought that the strange man would get annoyed or upset with the sudden outburst, he simply smiled.
“This is The Dating Game, and I’d advise you to watch your language. It isn’t suitable for our viewers.” He said, but he didn’t stop Yeonjun, instead he took a step back as the oldest member walked over to you, his eyes like daggers as he glared down at you.
“Who are you? Did you set this up?!” He shouted at you, and you felt the tears stinging the corners of your eyes as you quickly shook your head, your pupils flitting to the man who was playing host. “How did we get here? How did you get here? I want some fucking answers!” Was this his first outburst since he’d been here? How long had him and the guys actually been there though? Were they scared? Were they just as scared as you were?
“Please…” You whispered, wiping a stray tear from the corner of your eye before motioning your head towards the host. “Just get through this… And then… Maybe we’ll all get some answers…”

Merry t(X)t-Mas Pairing : platonic roommates!Yeonjun, Soobin, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Huening Kai x GN!Reader TW : absolutely none ; just cute, soft moments with the guys ; Christmas crackhead energy occasionally ; Word Count : 2.4k A/N : Merry Christmas to everyone!! I hope you all are having a wonderful day, and if you have the time to get on Tumblr today, here's a little holiday special!!
The fire crackled and glowed in the dimly lit living room, the soft tune of Christmas music drifting through the air, the street lights reflecting off the freshly fallen snow casting a low yellow hue through the window across the hardwood floors. The twinkling white lights on the tree perfectly lit up every decorated green branch, illuminating the striped candy canes that hung alongside red and gold balls, glass figurines, and passed down ornaments that held nostalgic value.
It was the perfect scene to end the night with as you and the guys sat around, relaxed in the silence as you all sipped on one final cup of hot chocolate, the marshmallows almost tipping over the top and the steam billowing above the brim of the novelty santa and snowman cups that had been decorations up until tonight.
Christmas Eve wasn’t filled with the same excitement it once was when you were a child, but it still held sentiment to you, surrounded by those that you were closest too and knowing that tomorrow morning you’d wake up with them and sit in the same spots you were sitting in now to open the gifts that you all had gotten each other. It wasn’t about the gifts, or the monetary value that they held. It was just being there with them, the thought behind what was given, just being able to spend time with your bestest friends.
You had made sure to get the boys two presents each, something that had taken you three months alone to save up enough money to do, but all ten presents were neatly wrapped with burgundy bows perfectly tied and situated in the corners of the boxes. They were concealed in a box that had been sitting in the top rack of your closet, and you had waited 25 long days for tonight, when you would sneak out of your room and line the gifts up under the tree beside the gifts that the other guys had gotten one another and you.
The sun had risen and was shining down along the wintery wonderland that the all night snowfall had created, the blinding reflection of sun beams shooting straight into your window had you stirring, momentarily forgetting what day it was until you rolled over and checked your phone. “Christmas…” You murmured to yourself, a childlike excitement overcoming you as you rolled out of your bed and ran out of your room, rapping a rhythmic knock against the bedroom doors of the boys. “Wake up! It’s Christmas!” You called to them, hearing their groans of “Five more minutes.” and “It’s too early.”, making you giggle as you practically skipped into the kitchen, starting up the coffee pot and hoping that the smell of the fresh brew would have them coming out of their rooms.
The lights on the tree and along the mantle were lit, and when you walked further into the living room you saw Yeonjun sitting on the couch, admiring the way the soft lights illuminated the gifts that lined the bottom of the tree. “You wrapped them in bows this year.” He murmured when he heard your footsteps closing in behind him. “Merry Christmas, Y/N.” He turned his head to smile up at you, a smile that you reflected right back to him.
“Merry Christmas, Junie.” You gave him a quick hug, noticing the way his cheeks turned a light shade of pink at the action. “Were the guys up late? They’re sleeping in on Christmas! That’s crazy.” You exclaimed before going over to the radio and turning it on, making sure the volume was just right before turning back to Yeonjun. “If they don’t wake up soon, we should just start opening the gifts without them.”
One of the bedroom doors flew open and out stepped Kai, his hair disheveled and his eyes still heavy with sleep as he pointed at you. “I heard that. No opening presents without us.” He mumbled sleepily, trying to sound stern, but tiredness laced every single word, and the way he groggily walked to the kitchen to grab himself a cup for his coffee enlightened you and Yeonjun to just how tired the youngest boy really was.
“I was joking Kai, you can sleep a little longer.” You said, dropping down to your spot on the couch beside Yeonjun and curling up into yourself. “We’ll wait for you and the other guys to fully wake up before we start. Just don’t sleep all day.” You teased, but then you heard Beomgyus loud yawn as he stumbled out of his room.
“No need, I’m awake now.” He announced mid yawn, his arms stretched above his head, making his way straight to the tree and lowering down to the floor to look through the gifts. “Well I know that Y/N has the nice gifts with the bows, everyone else here doesn’t wrap that well. And look at the bows… You want us to feel bad when we open it, don’t you?”
You snorted softly, rubbing the lingering sleep from your eyes as you watched him. “Noo, I just wanted the gifts to look nice under the tree, and they do.” You jokingly retorted before turning to look at the bedroom doors, watching Soobin emerge from his room. “Good morning, Soobin! Merry Christmas!” You called to him and he let out a grumble of exhaustion, running his hand through his hair and making a B-line straight for the coffee. “Alright, Scrooge. I’ll give you a couple minutes to wake up.” You teased, turning back towards the tree to see Beomgyu sorting his own pile of presents beside him. “Are you playing Santa this year, Beomgyu?”
Taehyun came out of the bedroom, the last one to awake, but he was the only one who wasn’t still groggy, he had a smile on his face as he strode over to the couch and dropped down on the other side of Yeonjun. “As soon as we’re done opening gifts, I’m going right back to bed.” He informed all of you, stretching his legs out in front of him. “We should all do that so we’re not falling asleep while making dinner.”
Yeonjun scoffed, shaking his head. “I’m not tired, and neither is Y/N. You guys just stayed up too late. We still need to have breakfast before anything.” He pushed himself off the couch and went to grab Beomgyus ankle, playfully dragging him away from the presents, earning a room full of laughter from you and everyone else. “If you’re wide awake for gifts, you can be wide awake to help me make breakfast. Let’s go.”
Soobin groaned, falling back against the cushions of the couch where Yeonjun just was, his head rolling back to the most uncomfortable position. “Wake me up when they’re done making breakfast, I’ll just sleep here.”
You lightly shoved his shoulder, but taking a quick nap sounded quite nice. You had been the one to wake most of them up, and now you wanted to fall back asleep yourself. “What do you think I got you?” You asked quietly, your eyes slowly drifting shut as you looked at him, watching as one of his eyes opened to look at you, your favorite dimpled smile forming on his lips.
“Would you let me know even if I guessed correctly?” He asked, and you shook your head no with a small smile, causing him to chuckle softly. “Well… I’m sure I’ll love it no matter what. I always do.” And his eyes shut once again as he let out a yawn, his lips smacking together lightly. “Are you gonna like what I got you?”
You let out a quiet tch as your head lulled against the back of the couch much like his own. “You didn’t have to get me anything, none of you had to. But I’ll love everything you all got for me no matter what it is, you know that.”
Soobin hummed softly, nodding his head tiredly, his body vibrating with silent laughter. “You just stole my answer, that’s alright though. Thanks Y/N… And Merry Christmas.”
The six of you sat around the table, forcing yourselves to eat as fast as possible as all of you struggled to pay attention to the food, your eyes darting between the plates in front of you and the tree just a couple feet away. All sense of tiredness was gone now that your stomachs were being filled and it almost became a race to see who would finish first, although you were sure that was only because Beomgyu came up with the grand idea that the first person to clear their plate got to open the first present.
“DONE!” Kai shouted after scraping the last remaining bit of food into his mouth and scooting away from the table, his fists up in the air as he stood up, giving his best victory stance before running to the tree and finding one of his presents and clutching it against his chest.
“Well I guess I don’t have to finish just yet. I want to open presents now.” Beomgyu said, defeat evident in his voice and Yeonjun rolled his eyes at the childishness, but you could see from the twinkle in his own eyes that he was just as excited as Beomgyu and the rest of the guys to grab up on the gifts beneath the tree and rip the paper off.
Everyone became a child again on Christmas, it didn’t matter your age, there was something so innocent about the excitement that people felt on Christmas morning, the impatience of wanting to tear off the wrapping paper and see the gifts that you had received. “Alright, let’s go.” You said once your own plate had been half cleared and your stomach had been filled, your words giving them the okay that everyone that was left at the table could get up and run to sit beside Kai on the floor, their eyes scanning the multitudes of boxes to find their names on the tags.
“I’ll be Santa this year.” Taehyun stated, scooting closer to the tree and looking through the gifts. “But Kai gets to open his gift first.” He reminded everyone and they all sat back, their eyes glued to the youngest boy as he started ripping off the paper.
The presents had all been opened, the shredded wrapping paper had been cleaned up and the apartment was filled with the smell of Christmas dinner that all six of you had taken part in preparing. You had all changed out of your pajamas and were now sitting around the living room, some of you on your second and third cups of coffee just to stay awake while others compared gifts that they had gotten.
“Are you having a good Christmas?” Beomgyu asked as he came over to stand next to you in the kitchen, swiping his finger along the inside of the bowl to collect the dough for the cookies that you were planning on making later.
With a playful swat of his hand, you turned to look at him. “I’m having a great Christmas. I get to spend it with all of you, of course it’s great. Now, stop stealing my dough.” You teased, wiping a little bit of flour across his nose. “Now you have to go clean up again and you can’t take anymore dough, uh oh.”
He stuck his tongue out at you before grabbing a handful of flour and sprinkling it over your head, laughing loudly as he did. “Now you have to go clean up again. It looks like it’s a white Christmas in the apartment though, how cool is that?”
Yeonjun and Soobin both came out and looked at the mess that had been made, their heads shaking as they looked at you and Beomgyu. “That better be cleaned up before dinner. You two better be cleaned up by dinner. Aish!” Yeonjun huffed, going straight to the living room as Soobin walked over to you, ruffling your hair and snorting quietly when flour clouds puffed up around your head.
“That better not be the flour you used for those cookies.” He teased before taking a step back. “If you wanted to play in the snow you could have just asked. Maybe after dinner?” He offered and you quickly nodded your head, excited about the prospect of going out, your footsteps breaking through the neat layer of powdered snow that coated every surface it could stick to. “After that we can come in and have some hot chocolate to end the night, how’s that sound?”
Kai, the best eavesdropper if there ever was one, came around the kitchen island and patted both yours and Soobins shoulder. “It sounds great, I’ll have my boots and my scarf and my gloves ready. Thanks for the invite.” The last sentence was clearly sarcastic, but you couldn’t help but laugh at it as the tips of Soobins ears turned a dark shade of red. “I’ll let the other guys know too, then we can have an even snowball fight. I call dibs on having Y/N on my team though!”
The sky slowly but surely began to turn a cotton candy pink, and then faded to black as bright white stars peppered the empty space that wasn’t brightly illuminated by the moon. Of course the day had to come to an end, all days had an end, and a beginning, and today wasn’t exempt from the rule. If Christmas lasted every day, it would lose the special feeling that it held, it wouldn’t bring joy anymore, that’s why everyone looked forward to it.
Scarves hung in the entrance, dripping down onto the boots that had been lined up beneath them. Cold hands wrapped around warm mugs of hot chocolate, the steam chasing away the chill that clung to everyone’s noses when a sip was taken. Christmas music softly lulled everyone into relaxation as the fire crackled and the trees lights twinkled across unwrapped present boxes that everyone had just been too busy to carry into their rooms. The day ended much like the night before, the six of you sitting in silence, enjoying each other’s company with not a single word spoken. It was perfect, it had been the perfect Christmas, and you were already counting down the 365 days until next year when you’d be able to do it all over again.

Just Us (Choi Yeonjun x Celebrity Reader)
Chapter 2: A burglar?
You immediately disembarked the plane, got your luggage and went to the bus terminal. You reviewed the route and how long would it take to reach Damyang-gun.
“It will take another hour of bus ride,” you sighed.
You requested your manager to find you a place in South Korea to have a vacation where no one can recognize you, a peaceful village far from city center and near to nature. But you did not expect that it would be this far.
You put your luggage on the bus compartment and entered the bus. You swiped your T-money card and find yourself a seat. You sat down by the window on the right side of the bus, on the middle section. After some time, the bus started to move. You observed your surroundings. There are a lot of space in the bus. It seems that there are just few people going to Damyang-gun this time around.
You checked your phone. It’s already past five in the afternoon. You feel so tired. You travel around for almost the whole day. As the bus kept on moving, you observed the how the scenery have changed. From big buildings with bustling people on the sidewalk to few houses and fields with a lot of bushes and trees. You now see South Korea’s countryside.
You checked the address that your manager has sent you.
“Wolsan-myeon, Damyang-gun, South Jeolla Province,” you whispered to yourself. You searched what attraction are near the cottage house that your manager had booked for you.  “By car, 10 minutes to Juknokwon, Metasequire Gil and Korea Bamboo Museum; 20 minutes to Damyang Kwanjerim and Damyang Hot Springs; and 30 minutes to Sosaewon.
You smiled knowing that there are a lot of attractions to visit near your accommodation. You also read in your manager’s note that there is a scooter that the owner of the cottage lent to you. Visiting the attractions will not be very difficult for you, since you know how to ride the scooter.
After some time, you can almost see the bus stop where you need to get off.
“도개 (Doage),” you read the sign and pushed the red button to let the driver know that there will be someone going off on the stop.
You got off the bus and got your luggage. You are in the bus stop and enjoying the countryside breeze. It is indeed fresher than the air in Seoul definitely, as you recall one of your stays in Seoul previously. You looked into the autumn sky and felt cold. You notice dark clouds started hovering into each other. You started walking to the direction of the rented house.
Shortly afterwards it started raining, very small drops at first, however the sky was packed tight with clouds and gradually the drops grew bigger and heavier, until it was autumn’s dismal rain that was falling.
You are totally soaked in the rain. You run fast as you could with you pulling your luggage and an arm around on your baggage.
You can see your accommodation ahead. It was a Hanok, a house built in the traditional Korean style with modern touches. You can see the spacious courtyard of your accommodation. As much as you want to check it more, you don’t have a choice but to immediately ran for cover. The rain is really pouring so much.
You past the courtyard and run into the house’ façade where there’s roof that can shade you from the rain. You observed that the house is really mixed style, feels traditional yet has a modern design. Instead of traditional wooden sliding door, it was built with glass sliding door and the main door has even a passcode lock.
You then receive an email from your manager. He forwarded to you the cottage’s owner message. They greeted and thank you for choosing their accommodation. House rules are also indicated on the email and also the passcode.
You immediately dial the code to unlock the door. You fumbled your hand on the wall to find the light switched and pressed it open. You removed your shoes in the doorway, and headed to the living room. The living room is spacious. It has a huge sofa in the center and a widescreen television mounted on the wall. You want to explore more the house, when you suddenly sneezed loudly.
“I guess I need to take a warm bath first,” you hurried inside the bathroom.
You were enjoying the warm water as you soaked your whole body in the bath tub. Nothing really beats having a warm bath after a long and tiring day. You can still hear the
rain drops on the brick roof. It is still loud. Seems like the rain seems will not be stopping anytime soon. You closed your eyes to relax more, when you heard some noise.
“What’s that?” you asked yourself.
It sounded like the door is opened. As you recalled, it is the same sound when the door was unlocked. You immediately get off the tub and try to find a towel to cover your body. But then, the only available towel in the bathroom is so small. You feel so scared all of a sudden. You can hear your heart loudly pounding on your chest.
In this foreign land, you can end up dying. You thought to yourself. You imagine the morning news content saying a foreign woman found dead in a rented cottage on the countryside. Just imagining that, you feel that your body started to freeze.
The you can hear footsteps becoming louder. As if they are coming near you. You gather all your strength and tried to take steps near the door as you observed that the doorknob is not locked.
Holding the small piece of towel to cover your chest, you are about to lock the door, when the door burst open.
“Kyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!” You shrieked.
You want to ran away but you missed a step and trip forward. You closed your eyes as you feel that you are slowly falling to the floor.
But you didn’t feel cold instead it feels soft and warm. You opened your eyes and saw that there is a man beneath you. You are about to shout for help when the man spoke.
“Y/N?”
“Y-yeon-jun?”
You stared at him shocked. "Why are you here? What are you doing here?!"
"I-I...." he stuttered. You see him blushing so hard. His eyes are trying to look away from you. Then, it hit you. You are almost naked and you are on top of him!
"Kyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!" you shrieked in embarrassment. "Please close your eyes! Close your eyes! 재발 (jaebal)!"
He closed his eyes tight, "My eyes are fully shut, please get up and put on your clothes. Please". Yeonjun was pleading with his red as tomato ears.
You immediately get up, look for your luggage and go to the nearest bedroom.

Just Us (Choi Yeonjun x Celebrity Reader)
Chapter 1:  Off we go
You boarded the airplane and found your seat in first class, by the window on the last row. You sat down comfortably on your spot.
Your eyes are fixed on the screen in front of you. The in-flight safety video is already playing, showing where the exits are, how to fasten your seatbelt, when portable electronics can and can’t be used, etc.
Then you heard the pre-flight announcement from the speaker.
“Mabuhay! Welcome to Philippine Airlines! This is the pre-flight announcement for flight PR75 to South Korea. We are currently second in line for take-off and are expected to be in the air in approximately five minutes time. We ask that you please fasten your seatbelts at this time and secure all baggage underneath your seat or in the overhead compartments. We also ask that your seats and table trays are in the upright position for take-off. Please turn off all personal electronic devices, including laptops and cell phones. Smoking is prohibited for the duration of the flight. Thank you for choosing Philippine Airlines. Enjoy your flight.”
You feel that the plane is slowly moving in the ground, preparing to take off. Few minutes later, you feel that the plane is gradually ascending. You can feel your ears popping as the altitude increases.
After some time, you heard the captain’s announcement.
“Good morning passengers. This is your captain speaking. First, I'd like to welcome everyone on flight PR75 to South Korea. We are currently cruising at an altitude of 33,000 feet at an airspeed of 400 miles per hour. The time is 8:15 am. The weather looks good and with the tailwind on our side we are expecting to land in Seoul approximately fifteen minutes ahead of schedule. The weather in Seoul is clear and sunny, with a high of 25 degrees for this afternoon. If the weather cooperates, we should get a great view of the city as we descend. The cabin crew will be coming around in about twenty minutes time to offer you a light snack and beverage, and the inflight movie will begin shortly after that. I'll talk to you again before we reach our destination. Until then, sit back, relax and enjoy the rest of the flight.”
You opened the screen and started checking the movie lists.
You saw a number of movies that you are in, either as the female lead or supporting actress.
You sighed deeply, “I don’t know if I’ll be happy or not seeing these.” You told yourself.
Then you heard a knock on your small door. The door slide opened. “Good afternoon, Ms. Y/N, sorry for interrupting you.” A female flight attendant appeared by your cabin door entrance.
“Good afternoon. What can I do for you?” You asked.
“I’m the senior flight attendant of this flight. We saw your name on our passenger list and we would just like to welcome you personally on boarding our flight. If you need anything don’t hesitate to call any of us here. Again, welcome to Philippine Airlines and enjoy your flight with us,” She bowed.
“You really don’t have to greet me personally. But thank you, anyways. I’ll let you know if I need anything,” you smiled warmly at the attendant.
You are expecting for the attendant to take her exit, but she is not moving on her spot and just keep staring at you.
You are confused and asked her, “Is there any problem?”
“If it’s just okay for you, Ms. Y/N,” the female attendant started saying, fidgeting on her spot. “Can I have a photo with you? I am a really big fan of yours!”
“No worries, come near and let’s take selfies.” You gestured to the female to come near your seat. “But please don’t expose to social medias my flight itinerary. I’m travelling solo for a vacation right now.”
The lady nodded. You took a number of selfies and the female flight attendant happily exited your cabin.
Closing your eyes, you thought of the things which had recently happened to you. It’s been a really hectic and tiring year for you. You have been busy on filming consecutive dramas. Being a celebrity is no joke. Specially, if you are really popular and have been receiving a number of offers. After the successful airing of your recent drama. You decided to take a vacation on your own. Away from the cameras, from social medias and if possible, from people who know you as celebrity.
But the one that you are dealing the most difficult is the “Lost sense of self”.
You felt so tired and had slept for most of the time during the flight. You did not even have the chance to have your meal. You are woken up by hearing the flight pre landing announcement.
“Ladies & Gentlemen, now we're approaching Seoul where the local time is 12:00 nn.  At this stage you should be in your seat with your seatbelt firmly, fastened.  Personal television screens, footrests and seat tables must be stowed away and all hand luggage stored either in the overhead lockers or under the seat in front.  Please ensure all electronic devices including laptop computers and computer games are turned off.”
You sat up and fastened your seat belt. You felt that the plane is gradually descending. After some time, the plane reached the ground.
You heard the landing announcement from the speaker.
“Ladies and gentlemen, we just landed at Incheon International Airport. Welcome to Seoul. Please remain seated and fasten your seatbelt until our plane has come to a complete stop. On behalf of Philippine Airlines, we thank you for your patronage. We look forward to seeing you again. Thank you very much.”
You started tidying up. You packed your phone and ipad to your carry-on bag. You straighten up the creases on your clothes and put on a black face mask to cover your nose and mouth area. Aside from there is still a pandemic going on, you’re still in the plane and in a city, you will never know there might still be fans around the place. It is better to be cautious than be sorry later on.
The people started disembarking the plane. You quietly exited with the crowd, with your dark sunglasses on and hoodie up. You successfully passed the immigration and picked your luggage in the conveyer belt.
Your staff had already arranged everything you need for this vacation, you believed. You already have your Korean sim card for internet connectivity and loaded T-money on your hand.
“So I am in terminal 1, I just need to ….what????” You are shocked on what you read on the notes that your staff prepared for you.
“Is this for real?! Are they telling me to ride 2 buses and 2 trains for more than 7 hours just to reach Damyang-gun?” You shrieked in disbelief.
“This won’t do,” you told yourself. You have searched online how to go to Damyang-gun efficiently. Car hire is the fastest with around 3 hours straight drive. But you doubt that you can easily and safely hire a car to go to your destination. The next option is to fly there from Seoul Gimpo airport to Gwanju and take a 30-minute bus to Damyang-gun.
“Okay, that’s it.  I’ll take this flight.” You headed to the commuter rail as you read on the map. You need to take the AREX and pass 6 stops to reach Seoul Gimpo Airport.  There you will buy the plane ticket and take the earliest flight.
Walking towards the commuter rail you saw a lot of posters and advertisements of Korean pop idols. They are everywhere. Because you are extremely busy with your career you are not really familiar with the k-pop idols. You watch Korean dramas as reference and you love to read manhwas (Korean comics) as a hobby. Before being a famous celebrity, you were a total anime geek, you love anime so much, you read a lot of mangas. But because of your popularity rise you don’t have enough time to really watch anime series. Your hobby shifted more on reading colorful version of Korean comics which was the manhwa and also some light novels. Even when you are busy, you still find time to read even a chapter or some few pages of manhwas. In fact, you have learned how to read and write Hangul because some chapters of manhwa’s you read are in Korean and the are no available translations for recent chapters.
Such a nerd. You though to yourself. But this is one of the things that makes you stay sane. Retaining your identity as an individual. For this trip, you want to dwell more on the things that keeps you YOU.
And Indeed that hobby of yours are helping you, big time now.
You understand all the Korean signages you saw and somehow a little bit of what the people around you are saying.
You reached the Seoul Gimpo station after a 30-minute ride to AREX. You hurriedly walked to the front desk of a local airlines.
“안녕하세요 (annyeonghaseyo),” you greeted the lady in the front desk politely in Korean.
“Can I book the earliest flight going to Gwanju?”
“광주가는 가장 빠른 비행기를 예약할 수 있나요? (Can I book the earliest flight going to Gwanju?)”
You spoke at the same time with someone but he is speaking in Korean. Yet, you understood that person is also asking for an earliest flight to Gwanju. Your hardwork self-studying hangul is really paying off. You silently thank your manhwa collection and light novels. There was a paused from the lady. The front desk lady smile at both of you and the person beside you. You sneakily take a look at the person beside you. He was tall and slim. A Korean indeed. He was wearing a black mask and black hoodie as well. Somehow your outfit seem to be like a couple’s one. You are also wearing a black mas and black hoodie. The only different is that he is wearing a black pants and you are wearing a black skirt.
The front desk lady speaks in Korean first and talked to the man beside you. Then she started to speak to you in English, when you interrupted “I understand that the only available seats are in economy class and there are just two seats available and the plane will depart in 30 minutes. I will avail one seat for this flight. 감사합니다 (Thank you).”
The front desk lady smiled at you and proceed to process the tickets. She handed one ticket to you and to the guy beside you.
You took the ticket and bowed thankfully to the lady. You hurriedly run to the boarding gate.
You boarded the plane and found your seat in the economy class on the end part of the plane. Your seat is on the right side of the wing. There are three seats adjacent together. Your seat is on the middle. There was already an old woman sitting on the isle seat.
You greeted the old woman “안녕하세요 (annyeonghaseyo)”. The old woman smiled at you.
You tried to reach the overhead compartment to put in your carry-on bag. It is a bit high so you tiptoed and just pushed in your bad. But suddenly, you slightly trip on your right foot and lost balance. You thought you will drop on the floor, but you unexpectedly felt arms supporting your right shoulder and back. You open your eyes. You saw a pair of attractive eyes. Monolids. Eyes that are sort of cat-like. He was wearing a facemask and his hair was hidden beneath his hoodie. You remembered that he was the guy on the front desk earlier.
“Miss, are you okay?” He spoke in English.
You were in dazed but you tried to snap back in reality. “Y-yeah. I am okay. Thank you very much.”
You immediately sat down on your seat. It was a bit cramped. You are not used to take economy class flight. But you don’t have choice since you want to reach your destination immediately.
“Miss, can you make some space? I will be seating there by the window,” the monolid guy said pointing on the empty window seat.
“I’m sorry. Okay. Go ahead”. You folded your knees to make some space. The guy passed in front of you and sat down beside you, by the window.
The plane started to take off. You are really hungry since you were not able to have your breakfast meal from the earlier flight. You heard a wrapper being open. You looked beside you. The monolid guy is opening a biscuit. You watched how he opened the big box and the wrapper for each biscuit. It was Lotte Chocolate Binch Biscuits, one of you most favorite Korean snacks. You gulped as you watched him eat.
Then suddenly your stomach loudly growled.
The guy stopped eating and turned his head in your direction. He saw you staring at his biscuit.
“Um, do you want some?” he offered his biscuits to you.
“This is so embarrassing. I’m so sorry” you apologized. “But I will not be declining. As you’ve heard my growling stomach. I will accept the offer.” You got the box and got a few biscuits. You are about to return it to the guy.
“No worries. You can have it all. I am still full. I think you need it more,” he smiled.
“Nooooo, you take this. This is a big box. We will share,” you got his hand and put the box over it. “Thank you very much,” You smiled at him.
He got the box of biscuit and continue eating. You also proceed in opening the wrapper and eating the biscuits. Such a life saver.
You were busy chewing, when the monolid guy spoke. “You’re here for a vacation?”
You looked at him and nodded while still chewing on your chocolate biscuit.
He chuckled.
You’re confused as if to why he chuckled.
He pointed on his cheek, “you have some chocolate in your face”.
“Ehhhhhhh,” you tried to remove the chocolate stain on your face. But when you touched your face. You heard him chuckled more.
“What now?” you asked him.
“You smeared more chocolate than cleaning it up,” he was laughing hard now. You can see some tears in his eyes. “I’m sorry for laughing at you. It’s just that…it’s really funny.”
You keep trying to clean it but to no avail he just keeps laughing more.
You pouted. He noticed your pout and he tried his best to stop laughing.
“I’m sorry again. Okay let me help you.” He got some napkins and carefully wipe the chocolate stains on your face. “Honestly, how old are you? You still eat like a kid. Don’t be offended please. It’s not that bad. Rather, I find it cute.”
He accidentally touched your lips with his fingers. And you stared with each other’s eyes.
Now, you can properly see his facial features. With his hoodie down and facemask removed. His lips sort of form a triangle. He has a lot of piercings and he has chubby cheeks. He also has black hair. He looks like a desert fox.
“Aigooooo, such a young and loving couple.” You heard the old woman seating at the isle spoke in korean.
You immediately moved backwards and the monolid guy also did the same.
“아니. 할머니. 우리는 커플이 아닙니다. (No. Grandma, we are not a couple),” you tried to politely reply in korean.
“Wow you speak Korean?” the guy asked. As if he was trying to remove the awkward situation.
“I know some phrases and I understand somehow,” you replied.
“대박 (Daebak),” he exclaimed.
“You’re also good at speaking english,” you told him.
“Oh. I lived in California for 2 years. That’s why.” He explained. “So where are you from?”
“I’m from the Philippines. I’m here for a solo vacation,” you told him grinning.
“I see from the Philippines. Uhm, are you into K-pop? There are a lot of kpop idols fans there, I think.” he asked you; he seems to be nervous.
“Korean pop music? I’m sorry. I’m not really familiar with kpop moreso with kpop idols. But I watched a bit, just a bit of Korean dramas for reference” you admitted.
“Oh that’s good to hear,” he sighed, somehow he seemed relief.
“By the way, we’re talking for a bit already. But I still don’t know your name. My name is Y/N. and you are?” You asked for his name.
“I’m Yeonjun.”
“So, Yeonjun why are you going to Gwanju?” you asked him nonchalantly.
“Oh, for a vacation too,” he responded immediately.
“Alone too?” you inquired.
“Yes. I want some time alone,” he responded.
“I kinda understand that,” you grinned at him.
After talking for a bit, Yeonjun and you decided to rest for the remaining time of the flight. Your eyes are closed trying to relax, when you heard a soft thudding sound. You opened your eyes and saw Yeonjun’s heads intermittently hitting the window. Yet he is still sleeping. He seemed so tired. You felt that you should not wake him up and let him rest. But you are worried that he might hurt himself. You tried to find something soft to put between his head and the window but to no avail there is nothing around. You are just in a short flight, so pillows and blankets are not provided. You put your hand over Yeonjun’s head to straighten his posture for his head not to bump on the window. But to your surprise, he shifted towards your direction and put his head over your shoulder.
You are thankful that you have your face mask on, or people can easily see your face red as tomato. You want to wake him up, but he seemed to be deep on his sleep.
“Yeonjun,” you tried to call his name. But he is not waking up.
Then you felt your eyes are becoming heavy. You yawned. “I guess, I’ll just let you sleep like this. Rest well,” then you also drifted to sleep.
Yeonjun’s POV
I slowly opened my eyes. It seems that I fell asleep. I was so tired. We practiced until late at night yesterday just for me to have this week off. I was about to rub my eyes, when I felt something warm in my hand. I looked down and saw that Y/N’s hand was over my hand. I was about to panic, then I felt that my head was resting on her shoulder and her head was resting on mine. I panicked more.
“Yeonjun, why are you so shameless,” I thought to myself.
I slowly and carefully put her hand away, on her lap. With my left hand, I carefully lifted her head, so I can straighten my head up. I slowly put her head on my right shoulder. Now that I’m close to her like this, I can see that she has really long eye lashes. Though, she has her facemask on, I saw that she is really pretty when she was eating the biscuit earlier.
I saw her fringes covering her face and my hand unknowingly moved her fringes on the side of her face. I am so close with a stranger, and a female one at that. But it does not feel uncomfortable. It’s more of the opposite. I feel so relaxed and I was in deep sleep earlier.
“It seems that you really like your girlfriend,” the old woman sitting on the isle seat said to me. “It seems that she really like you as well. She saw your head bumping on the window and immediately put your head on her shoulder. Such a sweet girl. You two suit each other well,” she smiled.
I can feel that my ears are turning red just hearing what happened. But she is not my girlfriend. I am about to tell to the old woman that she is not my girlfriend. When the landing announcement is heard on the speaker. You felt that Y/N’s head tilted. She opened her eyes and she immediately raised her head, away from your shoulder.
“I’m sorry. It seems like I fell asleep too.” She apologized.
“No worries. I think I was the one who fell asleep first. Sorry if I made you uncomfortable,” I also apologized.
The plane landed. I can still feel that it is still a bit awkward between me and Y/N. The people started to stand up from their seats and disembarked the plane. I was about to stand up too, when I saw Y/N. She was assisting the old woman sitting on isle seat. She helped her stand up and got her baggage on the overhead compartment for her.
I smiled at the scene. She was a nice person. So polite and helpful. So pretty and attractive. I was in dazed thinking of these things about her, when I snapped back in reality. I saw her waving her hand on my face.
“Hey, Yeonjun!” she called me.
“Y-yes,” you looked at her.
“I just want to say bye. And it was really nice meeting you. I’ll be off now. See you when I see you!” she smiled at me.
Such a warm and genuine smile.
“Y-yes. Nice meeting you Y/N. Enjoy your stay in Korea.” I smiled back.
She turned around and walked away.
“See you when I see you,” I whispered on yourself.
