It’s officially past midnight here in the UK, which means it’s Eddie’s birthday!!!! Happy 41st birthday Eddie. May your birthday be as magical and wonderful as you are!! I hope this year is full of happiness as much as you make us fans happy! You are an amazing person and brilliant actor. Keep smiling, and doing what you do best. I hope we see you in more films and projects this year. Thank you for all you do, for making films to entertain us, doing interviews weather it being on videos for YouTube, interviews for online articles, and interviews for podcasts. For attending Q & A sessions with fans, premiers, and other events, and hope to see you do more in the coming years. Thank you for doing so much for us fans, and being so kind and generous to us in everything you do.

I wanted to do a fan art for his 41st birthday, but I don’t know if I’ll finish it on time for his birthday. Eek! I wanted to say all that on his birthday fundraiser. I know he’ll probably not see this, although I wish he could, but I still want to express my gratitude for all his hard work for us fans, and wish him a heartfelt birthday. Love him so much. He’s one of the best actors out there and he is my number 1 favourite actor. Anyway we’ll see if I can finish it later today, as it’s late now snd past midnight.

Where it began

On the eve of Eddie Redmayne’s birthday, with our annual fan fundraiser in full swing, we recall Eddie’s portrayal of Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything this Throwback Thursday. Eddie’s research into the effects of Motor Neurone Disease on the body and mind + on the lives of its victims and their loved ones led to his bond with and patronage of the MND Association. Help honor Eddie Redmayne on his landmark birthday

Today (Thursday, Jan. 6) is Eddie's 40th birthday.

For the sixth year, a network of Eddie's social media fan accounts has been working with the Motor Neurone Disease Association — with Eddie's blessing — to allow fans to show their affection and appreciation by supporting a cause that is dear to his heart.

You're probably aware of how intensely Eddie studies for every one of his roles.’

Visiting with those living with MND and their families in homes and clinics to play Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything let him see close-up the effects of this terrible disease. He eagerly became a Patron of the Association to help in its global research and its support of patients and families throughout the U.K.
