“I wonder what WoF Lego would be like” - Me, about to start cooking
I feel like they’d either make the dragons big collector sets, entirely brick built, make them normal minifigs, or make special molds for each tribe and just use different prints depending on the character.
I feel like the first wave of sets would likely be arc 1, since that makes the most sense.
anyhow. This is what I think wings of fire Lego sets could be like. I’ll probably do more in the future when I read more of the series. Don’t take these as 100% confirmed undeniable proof that Lego will make wings of fire sets.
ARC 1:
BOOK 1:
SET 1: Dragonet Cave Escape
Builds: The DoD cave, Table and shelf for scrolls, cave door
Minifigs: Kestrel, Dune, Clay, Tsunami and Starflight
Play features: the door would have the ability to open and close.
SET 2: Skywing Arena
Builds: Skywing Arena Pillar, Arena Balcony, Glory’s fake tree and Scarlet’s throne.
Minifigs: Queen Scarlet, Peril, Clay, Tsunami, Gill, Glory, Princess Burn, and 3x unnamed Skywings
Play feature: Scarlet’s throne would have a mechanism that knocks her off of it.
The unnamed Skywings would have spears.
BOOK 2:
SET 1: Royal Hatchery
Builds: Royal Hatchery, Orca’s Statue, Hatchery Doors.
Minifigs: Tsunami, Orca’s Statue.
Includes a printed egg piece to represent Auklet’s egg, and a spear for Tsunami. The statue can be removed from its base.
SET 2: The Summer Palace
Builds: The Summer Palace, tables, shelves.
Minifigs: Tsunami, Queen Coral, Anemone, Riptide, Commander Shark, Whirlpool, Princess Blister, 5x unnamed Seawings.
Play features: Each floor is removable, allowing for easier access to play with minifigures.
Two of the unnamed Seawings would have spears. Whirlpool would have a 1x2 flat plate with a scroll printed on it. Coral would have a double-sided head. One side is a calm face, and the other an angry face.
BOOK 3:
SET 1: The Rainwing Village
Builds: A large platform, plants and hammocks. The Queen’s Throne Room
Minifigs: Glory, Mangrove, Queen Magnificent, Tamarin, Jambu, Liana, Mango, Grandeur, Bromeliad.
SET 2: Blaze’s Fortress + Enchanted Tunnel
Builds: Blaze’s Fortress, Enchanted Tunnel
Minifigs: Blaze, Mangrove, Glory, Deathbringer, 1x unnamed icewing, 2x unnamed sandwings
Play features: The enchanted tunnel would have a play feature where you can put a minifig inside, turn a piece on the top, and the minifig would spin around to the other side.
The tunnel, on one side, would be rainforest terrain, with plants, and sand and rock on the other.
SET 3: Volcano Tunnel Builds: The Volcano Tunnel + Rainwing prison.
Minifigs: Glory, Kinkajou, Orchid, Deathbringer, 2x unnamed Nightwings. Play features: The prison’s back walls and roof would be removable, and the doors can be opened. The unnamed Nightwings would have spears, and one has a key to open the doors.
The volcano tunnel would have the same rainforest terrain on one side, but would have rock and orange lava on the other side instead of sand.
BOOK 4:
SET 1: Nightwing Library
Builds: The Nightwing Library, Bookshelves and tables.
Minifigs: Starflight, Morrowseer, Flame, Squid, Ochre, Viper, and Fatespeaker. 2x unnamed Nightwing
Includes a dreamvisitor printed onto a 1x1 flat round tile.
SET 2: Nightwing Lab
Builds: Tables and scientific equipment
Minifigs: Mastermind and Starflight.
SET 3: Battlewinner’s Cauldron
Builds: Battlewinner’s Cauldron, rock terrain.
Minifigs: Battlewinner, Starflight, Greatness, Fatespeaker
Play features: The cauldron would have a mechanism where Battlewinner can be lowered inside, while a “frozen” (translucent blue) version of her minifig is launched out. Translucent yellow, orange and red studs could also be dumped out of the cauldron.
BOOK 5:
Set 1: Scorpion Den + Enchanted Tunnel
Builds: Scorpion Den gate, market stalls, Thorn’s tent, Enchanted Tunnel
Minifigs: Sunny, Thorn, Qibli, Sixclaws, Preyhunter, Fierceteeth, Strongwings, 3x unnamed sandwings.
Extra set: Stonemover’s Cave
Builds: Stonemover’s Cave
Minifigs: Stonemover, Sunny, Dinner (the fox)

FINAL SET: The Brightest Night Battle
Builds: The Sandwing Stronghold, desert terrain.
Minifigs: Clay, Tsunami, Queen Glory, Starflight, Sunny, Thorn, Smolder, Flower, Queen Glacier, Queen Moorhen, Queen Coral, Queen Ruby, Princesses Blister, Blaze, Burn, Peril, 5x unnamed Sandwings, 3x unnamed Skywings, 2x unnamed Seawings, 1x unnamed mudwing, 1x unnamed icewing.
Includes a box and two snake pieces, printed to resemble dragonbite vipers. Set would include a special molded Eye of Onyx piece for Thorn.
The set would be able to be combined with the Weirdling Tower as well.

Get to know your mutuals (tagged by @cerebralsilhouettes thanks babygirl)
What's the origin of your username?: Oh jeez, it's been a while but let me go into the memory depths here. I think I just used to say "Catch ya on the flip side" as a goodbye, and it seemed to encapsulate me pretty well. When I tried it out it was already taken, so I used flop instead and honestly, I think it's even more suiting lol.
OTP(s) + ship name: SwanQueen, SuperCorp, Hollstein, and Clexa. I'm generally a sucker for a golden retriever/black cat style ship probably because I'm the golden retriever and I'm in love with an intimidating woman lol. Something so intriguing about winning over the badass intimidating women.
Favorite color: I've struggled with this one since high school. Like my heart wants to say maybe a dark purple, but it really depends on the moment.
Song stuck in your head: Woncha Come On Home by Joan Armatrading. I've been obsessed with her Show Some Emotion album (everyone go listen immediately).
Weirdest habit/trait: Uhhh... I'm kinda known for being a bit odd, so probably a lot. I don't really feel embarrassment, so that seems to give me permission to just be without having to work around the fear of embarrassment that seems to run a lot of people's lives.
Hobbies: Oh god, I pick up a new hobby every week. Right now I'm into staff spinning and getting back into poi. Reading. I was crocheting while I was off work but honestly there's not a lot of time for hobbies while working full time and taking care of a dog, two cats, and a toddler. Oh music! I still play guitar, keyboard, and ukulele when I can. Working on the harmonica.
If you work, what's your profession?: Haha without doxxing myself I'm basically a labourer? My job is a bit of everything. Maintenance, snow removal, gardening and landscaping, moving furniture, office administration, mail room, and so much more. I like to say my job is to just do whatever needs to be done.
If you could have any job you wish, what would it be?: Really just a stay at home mom would be awesome right now. But also I have a dream to open my own coffee/tea shop that also sells used records and books.
Something you're good at: As maybe noted with my job, I'm a bit of a jack-of-all-trades, but I think maybe my people skills are something I do best . I've gotten further from people liking me than I have being a smarty pants.
Something you hate: Daylight savings, like wtf is that? Why are we still doing this? ALSO I have a peeve about the calendar. With 365 days in a standard year (sun cycle) and 28 days(ish) in a moon cycle, our years could be set up as 13 months of 28 days (13 moon cycles per sun cycle) plus one extra bonus day that everyone can just take off.
Something you collect: Nothing in particular right now. I once collected pennies, sunglasses, swim suits, shoes. I mean I guess records, but I just don't have the money right now for a proper "collection" of anything. I'm sure when my kid is a bit older we'll collect some rocks together or something.
Something you forget: How would I know? I've forgotten
What's your love language?: I like physical touch, but I give acts of service.
Favorite movie/show: Movies I've got a top 5 that kinda mix around for top dog: Spice World, Rat Race, Pan's Labyrinth, Fantastic Mr. Fox, The Sound of Music. Favourite shows: The OA, The L Word meant a lot to me at a few points, Schitt's Creek, I've watched a lot of TV and movies and there's a huge variety of for what I like depending on the day.
Favorite food: This homemade caesar salad that we make.
Favorite animal: All these favourites! I'm not good at favourites lol. I have a degree in wildlife biology so I'm a big animals fan, picking a favourite is hard. I'm a big fan of wombats (wrote a 30 page paper on them in school), my kiddo is really into bushbabies which is definitely making me into bushbabies (specifically the senigal galigo), I've recently discovered the emperor tamarin which is cute as heck, since I was a kid I always liked the kinkajou.
What were you like as a child?: Very social. Bit of a teacher's pet, but was also pretty popular so it didn't matter. I did well in school, did will with friends, was pretty athletic (did gymnastics consistently for 10 years, but also qualified for all the track and field stuff). I was a happy, easy going kid, just needed to be kept busy.
Favorite subject at school: Ahh, now the nerd is revealed. My faves were Math (calculus more than functions)/Physics/Music/Woodshop.
Least favorite subject: Uhhhh... civics and careers maybe? They could have done so much more with civics, but I feel like I didn't learn anything about how our government works. And careers was mostly a joke. I actually liked classes where I learned.
What's your best character trait?: I may have overlapped this with something you're good at. I'll think of something else. My wife said "you're not an asshole," so let's go with that.
What's your worst character trait?: Anxiety? Lol
If you could travel in time, who would you like to meet?: I don't know. Maybe my uncle Phil? Seemed like maybe we'd get along.
Honestly don't have the energy to tag people at this point, but if you see this and want to do it, feel free to claim I tagged you (if we're a mutual just take this as a tag).
Cheers

Plus they had an incredible effect on culture, notably helping facilitate the change that came from youth for the first time having enough money to buy what they wanted, not what they got from older people. Michigan’s 15 Points of Interest
Michigan is a beautiful state—which is why we here at Livnfresh are always inspired to make high-quality state pride apparel. We know all about the sights and the sounds of the Mitten State. But for those who are not yet familiar with the wonders of Michigan—you are in luck! We are here to talk about some of the best destinations in the state.
Michigan has a lot of awesome places for you to explore and discover. Here we are listing down the top 15 points of interest in Michigan. This includes cities, villages, and other destinations that will make you fall in love with the state. For the cities, we are also listing down a few suggested spots for you to visit with your friends and family.
Detroit
As the largest city in the Midwestern state of Michigan, Detroit has plenty of activities for you and your loved ones to get into. Near Downtown, the neoclassical Detroit Institute of Arts is known for the Detroit Industry Murals painted by Diego Rivera. It is inspired by the city’s ties to the auto industry, which gives it the nickname Motor City.
Downtown attractions include Comerica Park, Fox Theatre, the Henry Ford Museum, and Belle Isle.
Detroit is also the birthplace of Motown Records, whose chart-topping history is on display at Hitsville USA, which is their original headquarters.
After exploring this big city, you might want to grab a bite in the nearby neighborhood of Greektown, which has a few Greek restaurants.
Traverse City
Known for its annual National Cherry Festival, Traverse City is another popular destination. It is located on the shores of Lake Michigan’s Grand Traverse Bay and features a few breath-taking beaches such as Clinch Park, West End Beach, and East Bay Park.
For those who are interested in watching plays and concerts, the Victorian City Opera House is a perfect choice. Meanwhile, the Dennos Museum Center has an Inuit art collection and features works by Michigan artists.
Traverse City is rich in both cultural and natural attractions.

Mackinac Island
If you want to get away from the cities and hop on to an island adventure, then Michigan’s very own Mackinac Island is the right choice for you. Mackinac Island sits in Lake Huron, between Michigan’s Upper and Lower peninsulas. The island’s State Park has trails, woods, and limestone Arch Rock formations that cover most of the land. Fort Mackinac is a walled cluster of military buildings on a coastal bluff, founded way back in 1780.
Mackinac Island also holds the Richard and Jane Manoogian Mackinac Art Museum that features local works such as Native American art, maps, and photos from the 19th century. This island is rich in history, and you might be surprised by what you learn.
You can also visit the Original Mackinac Island Butterfly House and Insect World to view tropical gardens and live butterflies.
Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore
The Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore is a national park in Michigan that features sand dunes, lakes, trails, and many campsites. This sprawling nature preserve is as old as continental ice sheets and as young as the 1970 Establishment Act that set aside the Lakeshore for the preservation of natural resources.
The immense sand dunes perched above Lake Michigan are its most prominent features. These dunes sit atop the already towering headlands that are glacial moraines. It’s a magnificent sight that overlooks the Sleeping Bear, Empire, and Pyramid Point bluffs from above 400 feet.
Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore
Another national lakeshore, this park offers 40 miles of lakeshore and 100 miles of trails winding through a northern hardwood forest. It is unlike any place on Lake Superior because the Pictured Rocks offers miles of pristine beaches and incredible hiking trails. Visitors can even view towering sandstone cliffs and experience the serenity of northern woodlands.
In the spring, Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore transforms into a sea of beautiful wildflowers. Summer gives way to warm basking days. This destination highlights the best of Michigan weather and why we love it so much.
Grand Rapids
Grand Rapids is a Michigan city on the Grand River, east of Lake Michigan. Favorite tourist spots include the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum which celebrates the life and legacy of the 38th US president; the Meyer May House; the John Ball Zoo; and the Millennium Park.
On the outskirts of Grand Rapids sits the Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park that has a tropical conservatory and multiple gardens.
Ann Arbor
Another Michigan city, Ann Arbor is located west of Detroit and is home to the sprawling University of Michigan, which is known for its research programs.
The University of Michigan Museum of Art displays works from around the globe spanning centuries. If you are looking for science-focused attractions in the city, the Museum of Natural History and the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum offer great exhibits that are suitable for adults and kids alike.
Ann Arbor also has the Kelsey Museum of Archaeology, which features permanent exhibits including Roman sculptures and an Egyptian mummy coffin.
Holland
This Michigan city is located on the shore of Lake Macatawa. It is well-known for the Big Red Lighthouse that stands by the channel that connects the lake to Lake Michigan. Nearby is the beachfront Holland State Park that shelters deer and migratory birds.
Holland also celebrates Tulip Time Festival every May and sees tulips blooming all over the city.
youtube
Isle Royale National Park
This isle in Michigan is designated as wilderness. This archipelago offers hiking, kayaking, and scuba diving activities in Lake Superior.
Here you can explore a rugged, isolated island that is far from the sights and sounds of modern civilization. Isle Royale is unparalleled when it comes to beauty and solitude. Do keep in mind that the island is closed from November 1 through April 15 annually.
Petoskey
Petoskey is a city and coastal resort community with a population of approximately 5,670. It is the county seat of Emmet County and has destinations such as the Crooked Tree Arts Center, Bear River Valley Recreation Area, Petoskey State Park, Odawa Casino, and the Great Lakes Center for the Arts.
It’s a nice small city with a lot of variety when it comes to activities, so it is definitely a nice place to visit.
Marquette
Marquette is a city in Michigan as well as the county seat of Marquette County. It is the largest city of the state’s Upper Peninsula. It is a major port on Lake Superior, known primarily for shipping iron ore. It is also the home of Northern Michigan University.
Popular attractions include the Presque Isle Park, Sugarloaf Mountain, Marquette Mountain Ski & Bike Area, and the Marquette Harbor Lighthouse.
This city was even listed by CBS as one of the 10 best places to retire in the US back in 2012.
Munising
Another Michigan city, Munising is found on the southern shore of Lake Superior on the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. It is the county seat of Alger County and is partially surrounded by Munising Township. However, both are administered autonomously.
In this city, you will find the lovely Munising Falls. Also popular among tourists are the Pictured Rocks Cruises, Glass Bottom Shipwreck Tours, and Wagner Falls.

Holland also celebrates Tulip Time Festival every May and sees tulips blooming all over the city.

Munising
Another Michigan city, Munising is found on the southern shore of Lake Superior on the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. It is the county seat of Alger County and is partially surrounded by Munising Township. However, both are administered autonomously.

The Elephants
What an amazing day we had!!! Our driver came to pick us up at about 8am. We sat in a makeshift cabin in the bed of a truck, with 2 benches on each side and handles on the ceiling which we didn't really realize how badly we would need until later. The ride took about 2 hours. We drove through the mountains of Chiang Mai and it was stunning. The ride was pretty bumpy, and in Thailand everyone drives FAST. We eventually started up a mountain and it was insane. Winding roads back and forth, climbing higher and higher. The road was so rough, if you didn't hang on you easily would have fallen off! Our driver was really crazy, taking turns so close to the edge I was sure a few times we were going to fall off the side of the mountain. Poor Natalie and a friend we met from Calgary were extremely motion sick, hanging on for dear life while also trying not to blow chunks. I felt so bad for them. When we finally arrived we got to see the community that lived in the mountain there. They have really cool houses and huts, mostly made from the jungle. Our main guide worked for the elephant sanctuary and also grew banana, papaya, and avocado for work. The elephant part was something I will never forget. We hiked up to where the elephants lived in the jungle, where we first met with 3 elephants. We fed them bananas and bamboo, got to know them and learn about their history and life. After that we walked down to the river with them where they bathed and played in the water. They were so cute! The jungle and sun were really hot, watching them in the cool water and how happy it made them was adorable. Although they are large animals, the elephants were so gentle, kind, and happy. After the river the workers brought the elephants back up the mountain while we did some exploring to a waterfall where we hung out for a bit. It was kind of scary walking across very narrow paths through the jungle with steep drops on the side. We walked over narrow "bridges" which were nothing more than a small tree with makeshift bamboo railings that probably couldn't support the weight of a tennis ball LOL. We headed back to the camp where we had lunch. Chicken, greens, mixed vegetables, egg, and pineapple. It was delicious. Next, the elephants came down near the camp for their medicine and mud bath! The guide was explaining to us that they need to work hard to keep the elephants healthy as it's very expensive and nearly impossible to get them down the mountain and any care in the event they're sick. They give them medicine that is made of rice and banana, rock salt (good for their teeth), huge chunks of tamarin (really good for their digestion). All the ingredients got mashed up, formed into large balls, and fed to them. Elephants are herbivores and eat all day, and a healthy elephant poops lots, but because of their diet sometimes it can be hard for them. Then it was mud bath time! It was so much fun, everyone was splashing and throwing mud at each other. The process involved getting the elephant wet, scrubbing its skin, and then slathering mud all over it. The mud is really good for the elephants skin, and helps protect them from the sun. After we finished the elephants would suck mud up with their trunk, and spray it all over their back and under their ears on their own. It was cute watching them cover themselves. We had a little more rest time before we left, but thankfully the ride down the mountain was much easier than the ride up. We jumped right into the pool when we got back to the hotel. Justin
