If it comes down to a matchup between Paul Newman and James Dean, do we still have to choose, or can we go for the Eartha Kitt option?

do you ever think about how johnny silverhand served in the second central american conflict and deserted and came back home to a public that was openly and viciously blaming deserters for the dissolution of the united states instead of the gang of four and corporations that led to the country’s demise and so he released a solo album called sins of your brothers that detailed the horrific treatment of soldiers from being given hard psychoactive drugs to untested military-grade chrome that caused cyberpsychosis and with its release swayed the public opinion into realizing that the veterans themselves and especially the deserters were not to blame and then johnny dies in the tower and then fifty years later in sixth street territory especially you can overhear night city NPCs talk about how much they hate the deserters of the unification war and that everything johnny sang and fought and died for was all for nothing or are you normal.

Algeria: " i really like her company, but we do not talk as much as we should, i wish to build a stronger alliance in the future"

[Notes: Arise VietAlge nation there is much to speak of about these historical links, here are some interesting facts: Vietnamese monarch Hàm Nghi was exiled to Algeria in the 19th century after resisting french conquest, which coulld be their first contact. They both lived under France for a while, they could have met at the time too and bonded over being captive. Algeria wasn't just a colony to France, he was a part of France and got dragged to all his wars, including Indochina war, which led Algerians to meet the strong resistence of the Vietnamese people, it gave great inspiration for Algeria to fight France and get free, with Vietnam smuggling weapons to Algeria. After liberation, they officially established relations and many Vietnamese moved to Algeria and married Algerians creating this mixed community that is still present today. Algeria was in favor of Vietnam joining The non-Alignement movement (NAM) which they were both active members in, Algeria is still very fond of that movement and carries big hopes for the global south. Coincidentaly Algeria is wearing Batna's traditional clothes, and i just read today that Batna was recently made a twin city to Điện Biên Phủ. Today the two countries feel like their relations could expand further.
Outside of this, just feel like their minds align in many areas and so do their personalities. Sorry for rumbling!
Also don't mind the pic, i had to draw these four together at least once to get it off my bucket list, we'll pretend it was at the Algiers summit w khlas. ]

I also made a comic about the design of Mickey in @disney-mystical-au and me loving mickey’s design though Mickey’s shoe design scares me because they remind me of that character who changed into an adventure outfit to save creatures and I did join him with that adventure. Too bad the comparisons were not made because it was sitting in my art inventory for so long, waiting to be completed🥲.

I'm not really any manner of orator, and I average out at the amount of knowledge that passes my feed. I just... you know, recognize that. the US authorities and the bulk of celebrities who played into it to keep their job did those same things to us in the 60s and 70s. it's the same playbook, it's the same colonialism, it's the same human toll.

Another Ninh Binh landscape.
The rock to the right looks a bit like a face with a mass of green hair. Well maybe it's just the way I see things!

I love how much of the Western Media is insistent on comparing Hamas to the Vietnamese National Liberation Front

Like I kinda get where they're coming from but it's still so funny to all these commentators basically just going "huh these Guerillas that use subterranean tunnels are giving me real Viet Cong vibes"

mikey way is good looking in the way where he sort of seems like he would be able to lick his eyeball like a gecko but at the same time you do understand why he was getting passed around at warped tour like the last can of red bull in a room full of cramming law students

Viet Thanh Nguyen
"The gap between imagining an emotion and feeling it is the distance between empathy and experience. The divide both writer and reader face as empathy brings them closers to others but cannot make them into those others. Empathy cannot turn a son into his father and mother, even if the son is also a father" (page 50-51).
