Katya Illanova, an orc Warrior from series two of my fantasy radio series, The Misadventures of Agnetha Deveaux. She didn’t get to say or do much, as the episode was trying to juggle forty other characters, but she has great potential for the future, and is fun to draw.

Tomorrow, the biggest episode of the series yet.

For those who don’t know, for the last few years I’ve been working on a fantasy/mystery series called The Misadventures of Agnetha Deveaux (an-yet-a de-vo). Here’s Agnetha herself;

Formerly a servant’s daughter, soldier, and criminal, elf Agnetha now solves crimes and fights monsters and demons for fun. For the past two years I’ve been writing Agnetha as a radio series, which was broadcast on City Park Radio and can be listened to here. And hopefully it might become a book.

Tomorrow’s episode, the sixth in series 2 and twelfth overall, is the first of a two parter where Agnetha’s past finally catches up with her, when a criminal she stole £100,000 off years before manages to track her down. The cast and I have been tirelessly working on it since February last year, and this episode features every cast member all playing a ridiculous amount of roles.

Jamie is a reporter for the Varadune Gazette newspaper,who is interviewing Agnetha and Turmell about their crime fighting adventures. He also has a cursed piece of jewellery he thinks Agnetha might be able to cure. Jamie is voiced by Jamie VanDyke.

Charlotte Evanshaw trained for years as a dancer, but had to give that up to take care of the family pub after the death of her father. Nearly always smiling, she still struggles to hide her resentment. Charlotte is voiced by Marie Butler-Cole, returning from series 1.

Elsie Carrick is the manager of the Varadune division of the Carrick Shipping Company. An able business woman, she journeyed to the city with her father Norman to buy a new warehouse, and she finds herself rather taken with the real estate agent. Elsie is played by Holly Gregg.

Russell Carlson is an old friend of Charlotte’s, they met at dance school, Russ learning to be a musician. Currently he makes meagre earnings playing his guitar at the Vestament Silver Tavern, and practising with his sword in the back yard. Russ is played by Benjamin Rossiter.
