What brings out the worst in you? When I'm very anxious or having a PTSD episode, I can become very snappy and just not a joy to be around. What all did you eat today? This morning I had oatmeal, I had a rice cake as a snack, and lunch was ham and cheese on a tortilla. Some people were really destructive as a child, were you? No, I was a good kid. Who was the last person you were in a car with? My mom. Who was the last person you cried in front of? It was probably Mom. Do you talk about your feelings or hide them? I just like them and find them suiting. Do you think most mythological creatures exist? No. Have you ever had lice? No. What is one superstition that freaks you out? Why is that? I’m not superstitious. Are either of your parents retired yet and if not, what do they do? No. Dad is a mailman, and while Mom doesn't ~officially~ work yet because she's recovering from intense cancer treatment, she very recently resumed lightly cleaning a church for a small payment. Kinda like a warmup. When did you or do you want to move out of your parents’ house? I wanna move out once I'm in a long-term, stable relationship with someone so we can live together. Me living alone is NOT a good idea. How do you like your current job, or if you’re unemployed, have you been looking for employment? I don't have a job, but when I go to my tattoo appointment, I'm going to ask them if they'd be interested in hiring someone for the front desk. I think it's def something I could do because I love the environment, there's really not that much I need to know (like where the Doritos are, dealing with exact change, answering a dozen unique questions), it's not insanely busy, and the occasional phone call would challenge my anxiety and just be a minor inconvenience to me until I got used to it. My partial hospitalization program really got me wanting to fight back against what gives me anxiety, to truly expose myself to what scares me, while not going totally overboard with it. It was encouraging to hear my therapist there thought it was a magnificent idea for me. I decided I wanted to ask while at the parlor getting work done to show serious interest (like I'm not just some random chick walking in and asking for a job), as well as let the people warm up to me. I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much, but damn am I wishing. I want it so badly. What kind of booze did you last take shots of? I've never taken shots.

Anime Genre Legacy Challenge

I decided to try and create a legacy challenge. I will probably be attempting it soon and recording my progress, so if you’d be interested in following my story please do! I’ll break the rest of it down under the cut.

Like every legacy challenge, original legacy rules apply. Don’t use cheats that give you an unfair advantage, start with normal lifespan, choose your rules, etc. I would go into it more but I don’t want to make this longer than it’s already going to be. 

With some generations, I also added a second alternative genre or a “harder” version of that generation. The main idea is that I wanted to provide as many different options as possible for people. You can mix them up as you please and play which ever option you want to. 

Generation One: Slice of Life

You just started your life and you’re trying to get things started for yourself.

This would play out like a regular legacy challenge. You’re trying to get your sim and their family established so really anything goes for this generation.

Want something harder?

Generation One: Dystopia/Apocalyptic

After the great war, the world’s super powers destroyed themselves and the world around them. You are one of the lucky survivors and need to rebuild a life for yourself.

Start off on a lot with nothing on it and with no simoleons (you can cheat this if you need to).

You can only live off the land and can only make money through collectibles or crafted items. There isn’t a society anymore so there are no jobs at this point.

Your goal is stability; get a roof over your head and insure your friends and family will be safe and taken care of.

Generation Two: Sci-fi 

You’ve always had an interest in everything space and science related. As such, you’ve always wanted to get to space and create many inventions.

Recommended trait: Genius

Build a rocket and make it to space (max out rocket science skill if you want to).

Become good friends with at least one alien

Join the scientist career and reach the top.

Create at least one of every invention in the scientist career

Generation Two: Game/Gaming

You’re somewhat of an awkward shut in but love games and surround your life with them.

Recommended trait: Geek

Go to every geek con event.

Only talk to people you meet online or at the geek con because you’re too awkward to socialize with people otherwise.

Max out the gaming skill

Join the tech guru career and choose the eSport gamer branch.

Gain at least 10,000 followers from livestreaming through console and/or pc gaming.

Generation Three: Action

You’ve always been interested in the thrills of life and crave danger and action. However, you love those close to you and would do anything for them.

Have the outgoing trait.

Have more than one good friend and maintain those relationships.

You love your friends and try to go out to every event they invite you to. No matter how you’re feeling, you hardly ever refuse.

Join the secret agent career track (you can choose either branch you want).

Generation Three: Sports

Your life revolves around your favorite sport. It’s all you think of and you always want to get better at it. You spend every waking moment possible to improve your skills.

Have the active trait.

Make a best friend either during childhood or high school. This is your best teammate who loves your sport as much as you.

Any free time you have, you spend practicing your sport. You would rather spend your time practicing than working on extra credit and projects from school. You feel homework is enough.

Join the athletic career when becoming an adult and choose the professional athlete branch.

Generation Four: Music/Art

You want to follow your passion more than anything else in life and that passion as always been art and/or music.

Have either music lover or art lover trait.

Max out singing skill and at least one instrument or max out the painting skill.

Have either the Painter Extraordinaire aspiration or the Musical Genius aspiration and max out that aspiration.

Join the painting career or musician career.

Have a low relationship with your children and spouse because you focus all your time on your passion.

Generation Four: Fantasy/Vampire

You have always had a fascination with the supernatural and anything that doesn’t follow with the mundane.

Research into the vampire lore and become a vampire as soon as possible.

Recommended aspiration: Master Vampire

Buy the powers that give you supernatural abilities when they become available to you.

Generation Five: Kids

You love your children and have always been in touch with your inner child.

Max out your childhood aspiration.

Recommended aspiration: Super Parent

Have the childish trait.

Have kids as soon as possible.

Become a stay at home parent.

Have more than one kid.

Have a strong relationship with your children and help out with school work and projects when you can.

Generation Six: Romance

You’ve always wanted to find your one true love and have your “happily every after”.

Have the soulmate aspiration.

Have the romantic trait.

Date only one person and marry that person.

Go on dates with your spouse every week.

Always have a close relationship with your spouse because your love for them is so strong.

Grow old with your spouse. If your spouse ever dies before you, you will become severely depressed and never leave the house. Even if this happens as elders.

Generation Six: Harem/Reverse Harem

You feel you need to do down many different paths and have different experiences before you find your “true” path.

Must have the Serial Romantic aspiration.

Have at least four different partners before settling down.

The last sim you date is your “true route” so this will end up being who you marry.

Never stay with one career because you feel that you still need different experiences and that this isn’t the “right path”. When presented to choose a branch in a career is when you would change careers or before that point.

Generation Seven: Josei/Seinen

You’ve always felt that you related more with people older than you and you have always felt more mature than those your age. However, you’ve always had a problem with your jealousy that you feel holds you back. You resent this part of you.

Must have the jealous trait.

Recommended aspiration: Renaissance Sim 

Always have a friend who is older than you because you can relate with them better.

Play with the doctor set as a child often because you spend a lot of time honing your skills rather than playing with kids your age.

Join the doctor career when you’re an adult because of your childhood interests.

Marry someone who is older than you.

Want something harder?

Generation Seven: Drama/Angst

You try to live life to the fullest but always experience some hardships. You try your hardest to make the best of sad situations but you’re not sure how much you will be able to take in the future.

Make a childhood friend and fall in love with them.

Marry your childhood friend and have children with them.

Eventually learn that your childhood friend has a serious terminal illness and dies after your second or third child.

Eventually learn that one of your children has the same terminal illness and dies before adulthood.

Become severely depressed and blame yourself then move out to leave remaining child/children to raise themselves.

Generation Eight: Police/Psychological

You don’t really trust anyone and have always relied on yourself.

Have the loner trait.

Join the detective career or criminal career and place all your focus on your career.

Get married to someone but never have a higher romantic relationship level than a friendship level.

Have only one kid because you don’t have the time to worry about having another child.

Get divorced because you focus on your career so much your spouse gets angry. Never remarry after this.

Don’t ever have a close relationship with your child and only provide bare necessities for them.

Generation Nine: Comedy

You want your life to be full of fun and laughter. Your favorite thing in life is making others laugh and enjoy themselves.

Have the goofball trait.

Have social butterfly aspiration as a child.

Have the Jokester aspiration when you become a teenager.

Join the entertainment career and choose the comedian branch.

Max out the comedy and charisma skill.

Get pregnant or adopt one child but never get married.

Have a close relationship with your child/children. You want their life to be as happy as possible.

Generation Ten: Historical

You’ve always been curious about your family’s history and wonder what stories they can tell.

Have the bookworm trait.

Max out writing skill.

Visit your founder’s gravestone and as many other generations’ gravestones as possible.

Eventually write an autobiography about your family’s legacy and the stories of each of their lives.

I hope that this challenge looks interesting enough to try out! I’m sure I will be updating it as later expansions and packs come out. Especially if supernatural packs come out and stuff like that.

Family: Uchiha.

I recreated this family first, ages ago, pretty much when Konoha was still empty. <3 it’s probably no surprise if you know me even a little (I mean, I use them in my previews too nowadays xD that’s how much I love them.)

I first created Sasuke and Sayuri in Belladonna Cove for the heck of it, but then I got really attached, especially to their kids. Back then (2014ish), my ACOH story was also not all that developed past their 20s, but playing their sims inspired me a lot, and the kids they had became their kids in my story too (well, only the first three, cause come on, eight kids?!) I literally let their sims guide my writing. <3

Since I wrote little Sim/story profiles for them, I posted them separately first, but here’s the all at once post. :D

This is like the first time I ever do this, but I really wanted to try, so sorry if I’m confusing! 

Uchiha Sayuri, previously Amamiya, is first, cause why not? She’s one of the main OCs. Self insert originally, too, so I’m a little biased. :D

Sayuri never really fit into the Ninja world. Something about the occupation always rubbed her the wrong way. She knew she was born in a Ninja village to a Ninja family, but was that really all there was? Was her destiny really to fight and kill? She refused that. It took many years, and some friends in high places, but with effort and stubbornness, Sayuri got people to follow her dream and make it a reality: a village where kids could be kids, without the pressure of the Ninja world on their shoulders, where they have a choice and can make their own way. A place where she would want her own kids to grow up.

Nowadays, Sayuri is the head of the Diplomacy department of Konoha’s government. A skilled negotiator who is not afraid to get in the thick of it, she’s solved many situations that could have ended far worse. She gets personally involved, though, which takes its toll. But she can’t help it– this is how she is. She wouldn’t be so good at it otherwise.

Sayuri is a family sim with a pleasure secondary. Her zodiac is Cancer, with a personality of 5/4/5/5/6. She’s relatively in-the-middle there for someone as revolutionary as her, but despite being kinda shy, she’s also VERY stubborn and willing to fight for her dreams/goals/whatever.

Traits: Family oriented, nurturing, over-emotional, bookworm, and terrible cook.

Turn ons: black hair, logical (may have been influenced a little over the years she was married to Sasuke… xD). Turn offs: bad at cooking that should be a turn off, ugh! Right now, it’s robots, because there’s no such thing, yet! I can never find turn offs that actually make sense.

Sasuke is next, this is my attempt at explaining what he is like in my story?

Sasuke spent 10 years living a life that wasn’t his, pursuing a goal that was forced on him by his brother, Itachi. When he came out on the other side, he couldn’t recognise himself anymore– not the person he was before the whole thing started, not the person he had become over the years. He had nothing left but a hollowness inside that scared him. But he was wrong, and there were people who were there to show him that. As soon as he saw in himself something good that could become bigger, he grabbed it with both of his hands and never let go.

Nowadays, he’s the Head of Shield, a team of elite ninja, chosen only by him and the Hokage. They’re the very best for a reason. Each and every one of them are experts in their field and they normally go on the most dangerous missions, and come back alive. That must say something! Due to his position, Sasuke also has a seat on the council. Though he clearly cares about his position and the village itself, Sasuke would prefer to stay out of harm’s way most of the time… so he can come back home to his family at the end of the day.

Random facts: the name ‘Shield’ was chosen by the Hokage, Naruto, at the time. It’s inspired by a word he heard while visiting the Cloud village. Also, ‘dangerous’ isn’t the same as it used to be 10-20 years ago.

Sasuke is a family sim, too, with a knowledge secondary. His zodiac is Leo, with a personality of 7/4/8/3/5 (mostly head-canon, really). He’s a bit of a clean freak and his active personality is literally his core. 

Traits: Athletic, disciplined, brave (a condition for his job), social disaster, natural cook. 

Turn ons: fitness, creative. Turn offs: fat.

Kaito is the eldest and the only boy in the family besides Sasuke. I admit I was delighted their first kid was a boy. :D

Kaito is a genius. Everybody knows that. He’s “perfect” in every way (ask his fangirls), and so he should be, he’s an Uchiha after all. Kaito sees it a different way though, he just wants to be left alone, so he can read his books and do his ninja training and hang out with his friends and figure himself out. Everybody is in such a hurry to put him on a pedestal... 

Kaito is a teenager (15 story-time), so he has only one aspiration, knowledge. His zodiac is Aries, with a personality of 5/4/7/3/7. He was born in game and everything was copied over, although originally I had Sayuri encourage him to be nicer, so that was copied over as well. He’s hell of a lot like Sasuke, personality wise, but his attitude towards people is more like Sayuri’s. xD

Traits: Genius, brave (from Sasuke), terrible cook (from Sayuri). Teens in my game will have only three traits, get another one as YA, and last one as adults.

Turn ons: athletic, brown hair. Turn offs: jewellery.

Mikoto got her name from Sasuke’s mother, because she was born with her eyes (grey which is lighter than Sasuke’s.) It’s mostly not a thing to name your kids after your parents (with some clan exceptions), but meh. 

Right from the start, there was one thing that stood out about Mikoto: her unending care for others. Even as a young child, she would take care of her friends and her little sister, watching over them as if she were their mother. She got more into art as she grew, and she loves painting. She doesn’t really know what she wants to do with her life, you know? She’s only 13 after all! She still has two years before she has to decide whether to go to Ninja school or the Academic one, and she’s going to take her time figuring it out.

Mikoto is a child in the sims, despite being 13 story-time (I kinda figure Teen stage starts at 15), so her aspiration is still to grow up. Her zodiac is Aquarius, with a personality of 4/5/5/5/6. Again, born in game and everything was copied. She’s obviously a lot like Sayuri with the whole in-the-middle thing.

Traits: nurturing (from Sayuri), artistic.

Hikari was born in the middle of the night, when Sasuke and Sayuri caught a glimpse of a falling star just before Sayuri went into labor (that actually happened in my game, I’ll add a link to the picture when the archive actually works -_-). Anyway, I’m a bit of a cliche, so obviously she got her name from the stars lighting up the night sky. XD

Hikari is not like Kaito and Mikoto. She’s not unsure, she’s not confused. She knows exactly what she wants: to be a ninja, of course, so she can be as strong as her father, or even more! so what if she’s just 10 and has plenty of time to make up her mind? 

Hikari’s aspiration is to grow up in the sims, since she’s still a child. Her zodiac is Cancer, with a personality of 5/3/8/4/5. She got her active trait from Sasuke and her shyness from Sayuri. :D born in game, copied faithfully as always.

Traits: Shy, athletic (from Sasuke).

Bonus: The cats!

Sasuke found Kuro on a dark, rainy night when he was just a kitten. He never cared for animals all that much, but when their eyes met, he couldn’t just leave him be, either. Kuro had the kind of eyes that reminded him of his own, at the time-- aloof, independent, but also lonely and lost. So he took him in for the night. That was when he was 17. Needless to say, Kuro stayed. But Kuro came with his own dark past and his own troubles... he’s a ninja cat, after all!

Fun fact: Kuro means Black in Japanese. That’s how creative his name is! Sasuke’s idea.

It was again a dark, rainy night when… ok no, it was a sunny weekend day, when Sasuke and Sayuri were 21, that Kuro came running in frantically and begged (by meowing, a lot) for them to come with him. When they arrived at the destination, they found a pregnant white cat, but she seemed sick. They took her to the animal hospital, who decided to get her kittens out ASAP. Luckily, everybody survived. The kittens were given homes, and the pretty white cat, well… Kuro got attached to her, so Sasuke and Sayuri ended up taking her in, too. Need I mention she’s also a ninja cat?

Fun fact: Kurona was given her name because, well, there’s Kuro, so if we add na (supposedly, a short for nya, which is the sound cats make in Japanese), you get Kurona. It was Sasuke’s idea

Ryoma is their son. He was a part of a litter of four, but the other three were given away because there was just too much chaos at home and Sasuke couldn’t stand it. There was some whining and crying from the children, who were all old enough to understand what was happening, but what had to be done was done. For some odd reason, though, Sasuke decided to keep Ryoma... the hyper, wild kitten! 

Funny fact: He got his name from a character in Prince of Tennis. Yep. No story reason there. XD (the other kittens were named Ryoga, Nana, and Kana. Two males, two females. :D) 

A note on ninja cats for interested people: they’re not like normal cats. Their lifespan is much longer (closer to humans), even though their ability to breed is similar to normal cats– basically, they can breed as soon as normal cats, but they lose that ability the older they get (halfway through their life). As always, females sooner than males. Another thing is that they do understand the human language, and they can also talk! That said, both Kuro and Kurona escaped from their ninja village before they actually learned to talk, so neither of them can. They do understand the human language though, as they’re taught that sooner than to actually talk it. They can also read it, but not write.

- The Goal Raise the most successful clan as you can for as many generations as you please.

Getting Started 1. Go into CAS and name the randomly-generated Sim (or rather, Twoleg for this challenge) whatever you like as well as give them whatever traits, but there is no need to alter their appearance. They will still be of use to you, but it will not be necessary to make them look presentable. I made a type of flower/nature fairy sim. 2. Create one-three cats. Their appearances, traits, and roles are up to you. Usually people would say you should use only natural colors, but you know what I say? Screw it; your game, your cats. You could even make Rainbowclan, or Neonclan, or heck, even Pixelclan. S'all up to you, it’s not my place to tell you how to make your cats. 3. After you have created your Twoleg and cats, buy them an empty home lot, preferably a 20*30 to 40*50 lot. This is only a small part of your territory, and it will hold your Clan’s camp and basic “hunting” territory. If you want to, you can create “wild” lots in Edit Map mode which are available for you to buy as private property and therefore make part of your territory. However, if you want your territory to solely be one lot, be my guest. 5. Now that you’ve got your empty lot, you’ll first have to create a small den or a basement for your Twoleg, inescapable from the inside and unaccessible from the outside unless you so choose to let them out. Give your Twoleg the basic necessities that they will need to survive. A computer would be nice as well, since it will be useful for adoption and social interaction. 6. After the Twoleg’s den has been built, make your cats’ territory and camp! Be creative, you can create anything you want for your cats to live in, as long as it’s not too kittypet-ish. Swamps, deserts, heck, even extraterrestrial biomes are all possibilities! You could even create some sort of cave system or a complex array of rivers for the camp. Make sure you have all the dens: - Leader - Warriors - Apprentices - Nursery - Elders

Patrols: Hunting Patrols - At least 2-4 cats are required. In hunting patrols, the group must stick to one area to *hunt* (look for tressures to trade the twoleg for food., and each cat must bring at least one piece of tressure back to camp. Dawn/Dusk Patrols - Only 3 cats are required. Two patrols must go out and around the territory at the times 5:00-7:00 AM for dawn and 4:00-7:00 PM for dusk, investigating for anything suspicious. Encounters with any creature not from the clan are to be dealt with as follows in the Events section below. Border Patrols - At least 3 cats required. There must be at least one border patrol a day. Border patrols walk along the borders of their territory and mark their borders in whichever way you see fit. Medicines ~ So, how medicine is gonna work is pretty simple. 1. Go arounf your terretory looking for plants that can help if any of your cats get sick ( make the cat find them and make your twoleg pick them up) 2. You may choose to keep it in their inventory, in the cat’s, or in a chest. I wouldn’t suggest the Twoleg keeps it though. They might use it for cooking or just put it down somewhere. 3. Conditions and Deaths Bitten by a squrriel - If not cured within three days of becoming bitten, the patient will die. Cure : Nuzzlenip (makes the cat frisky) Mild Handicap - The cat is able to move on their own, but unable to do certain actions such as hunting, running, etc. Cure : None) Cause : Atacked by an anaother animal (raccon, fox, wild cat. dogs, wolves.) Severe Handicap - The cat cannot move without assistance, they must spend the majority of their time in their nest. ( 92-100 random generator ) Severe Wounds - If not treated within five days of becoming wounded, the patient will die. Cause : Attacked by an animal

Rules: 1. The only mods allowed are mods that increase the amount of Sims and Pets in your family, and the mod that makes pets controllable. 3. You cannot change the results once an event is rolled. What happens is what happens, even if you don’t like it. 4. Pregnant queens are not very active. Their food must be delivered to them by warriors( the warriors need to go out and get extra tressure to get food from the twoleg. ) and they must stay in or near the nursery. Otherwise, you’ll have them giving birth in an akward place. 5. If any cat, including warriors and such, wanders out of camp unauthorized and is caught, they must be punished as you see fit. If they go unnoticed, however, they will get away with it unharmed. 6. Apprentices may not go out without being accompanied by a warrior becouse they haven`t had all their training and all the experience they need if they get into danger. 7. Warriors may not be made deputy unless they have had at least one apprentice. 8. (Most important rule ever) Have fun!

Losing Conditions: 1. Your cats got taken away by social workers. 2. All of your cats died. 3. Your Clan was disbanded.
