what shows do you recommend

I’ll list as many of my favourites as I can think of- so hopefully you’ll find some to your taste. Marked with (x) = CANCELLED

— Stranger Things - sometimes there are just no words. I wouldn’t even know where to begin. It’s just really really great.

— Dark - time travel done right

— Chilling Adventures of Sabrina - a 16 year old girl ending Satan’s whole career

— Killing Eve - the homoerotic ordeal of tracking down a psychopath

— Euphoria - listen this is an AMAZING show. Just watch out for triggers!

— YOU - you’re watching from the perspective of a psychopath. He’s creepy, he does creepy things, and gets himself into some hilarious situations

— Travellers - the most satisfying ending to a show i’ve seen for a while- time travel body snatching save the world type vibe

— The Society - what i expected The 100 to be like and then it wasn’t

— Brooklyn Nine Nine - a comedy that’s actually funny

— Derry Girls - Irish girls + English Boy + an escaped polar bear = running down a country lane screaming, chased by a band of travellers after accidently causing a bomb scare all because they wanted to go to a Take That concert

— Rick and Morty - Back To The Future with dimension hopping instead of time travel and an alcoholic, nihlistic Doc. It’s funny, it’s fun and the ideas they can explore are potentially limitless which makes tuning into a new episode that much more exciting. It’s elaborate and the animation is wonderful. You can watch it as a fun sci-fi adventure series, but there’s also layers and layers you can peel back to reveal more information, further complexity, links between episodes and characters, and theories! I love reading people’s theories on this show so much! Like i said, there’s endless potential.

— The Good Place - Again, no words i pick could do it any justice. It’s complex and inspired, and very funny. It makes me wanna be a better person.

— The Ted Bundy Tapes - an interesting and well-made true crime doc

— Gotham - be gay, do crime

— Gossip Girl - rich people failing to communicate for 6 seasons straight. My personal opinion being that it’s the unofficial prequel to ‘YOU’. If you’re like me and sometimes get in that typa mood when you just need a high school-ish drama to take you away from life- she’s a godsend.

— Sex Education - I just adore so much about this show. It’s filmed beautifully and creatively, seriously great directing, diverse cast, there’s ever-shifting and entertaining dynamics, everything is really colourful and the way they talk about sex is both healthy and encompassing. The dialogue in this is realistic and natural. The personalities of each character are interesting and unique. Good soundtrack, too. Oh and the scenery is just- Oh my god the scenery. Season 1 is great, season 2 even better. Just go watch!!
