He was covering a break for one of his cashiers, so he was at the register and since it wasn't his usual thing he was struggling a little. Epically when someone good looking came into the store. "Did y-you find everything okay?" He asked a bit shyly, knowning Lenny would grill him for this if he knew "Don't think I've seen you in here before! What brought you in?"

Gilen had been staying with Stella since the two had reconnected back in December at the winter ball. Unfortunately, it had been like walking on eggshells he tried to avoid his older sister Scarlet for the sake of not wanting to cause any problems. At least not yet anyway. He was walking through the halls of the Palace when he ran into a short blonde. At first, he assumed it was Stella or her sister but he was surprised to see it was his own. Serafina, What was she doing there? he didn’t know but he smiled at her any way happy to see his younger sibling. “Aren’t you a sight for sore eyes...” he said with a chuckle.

2p!s and Quarantine

2p Italy: “It is what it is.”  Luciano isn’t having the hardest time adjusting, but he does live in the city and wants to be careful. He can’t go and take walks and window shop like he used to, so he’s a little restless. He’s pretty ho-hum, and anything he’s missing he’ll order online. The biggest problem is that he gets bored easily, and impulse buys things he’ll never use. He’s called Flavio more than he usually does, but if that’s helped their relationship has yet to be seen. 

2p Romano: “This really sucks!”  Flavio is having a very hard time staying home. He knows its for the greater good, but he’s a very social person. At home selfies can only fill the void so much. He sets up video call parties and ropes as many people in as he can. He also lives in the city but he’s much scared than Luciano when going out. He really wants to dress to the 9′s when going to throw out the trash, but all the protective equipment he puts on would clash with his outfit. 

2p Germany: “I can’t work out and it gets worse” Much like Luciano, this isn’t effecting Luther too much. The gym being closed is the worst thing and working around it is even harder. He also lives in the city, but he’s gotten noise complaints from his neighbors and knows that if he tries to work out his landlord may threaten to evict him. He doesn’t know enough about renters rights to fight it, so he’s decided to suck it up. At the very least, he’s thankful he has an excuse to stay in his apartment.

2p Prussia: “It’s not much of a change” Gilen didn’t leave his place much in the first place. He’s a homebody and this has given him a chance to catch up on old shows and games. He’s been chatting with Oliver, more than he usually does, and although he’s not a very crafty person, he’s made a point to donate to charities and tip heavily. He wants to help out as much as he can, and this is the way he does it.

2p Japan: “People suck” Kuro is adjusting fine, but his days are more filled with watching the news and getting angry. He’s living in a suburban area, so the area isn’t too densely packed, but the city close by is. He’s had it with anti-lock down protest and the idiocy that has plagued the news. He watches until he gets angry but ends up not being able properly vent. He could really use someone there with him to distract him from the news and get him to so something else. 

2p America: “et ezz what et ezz” Allen is doing fine, but he’s taken a different spin on things. This is the perfect time for meme creation and consumption but with respect. He’s taken it upon himself to police his social media. You can make a joke but if its too offensive he’s probably going to report it after a chuckle. As of recent, he’s been torn between the protests and has taken on a much more serious tone. For now, he’s donating. 

2p Canada: “Eh” Matt lives in the middle of nowhere and has to drive an hour for groceries. He didn’t see many people in the first place so this sin’t much of a change. If he gets lonely, he’ll call Allen. (Although he once made the mistake of calling Kuro, and after three hours of listing to him complain, he’s been pretending his phone broke to avoid another call.) Either way, things haven't changed much for him. He’s been picking up projects around his house and is most proud of his remodeled porch. 

2p France: “Eh” Again, this man does nothing. Similar to Matt, he lives in the middle of nowhere, but unlike Matt he doesn’t bother going to the grocery store or doing things around the house. He’s kinda in a slump. Oliver drops by to give him groceries but his chipper personality is often too much. But, on the flip side, after hearing Matt’s porch is done, he’s considered going to live with him for a while. 

2p China: “It a double edged sword” Xaio likes people but he also likes his time alone. He works best when he has someone there to talk to and joke around with, so with no one there he hasn’t been very productive. Instead he’s been binging Netflix and doing... things. He’s heard Louise’s plan of moving in with Matt, and he’s been trying to talk Kuro or Allen into letting him do the same but has had little luck. 

2p Russia: “Six Feet!” Viktor is a germaphobe to a T. He’s terrified of everything and everyone. He’s got a natural scowl on his face, so when once in a blue moon he’s out of his house, he looks menacing. This has started multiple verbal arguments with volatile people, much to Allen’s amusement. He’s drastically reduced the amount of times he’s left the house and relys on deliveries. 

2p England: “I’m busy!” I’m sure everyone saw this coming, but Oliver has been working very hard sewing masks. Collect fabrics, salvaging elastic, and untangling thread; this man is running himself ragged. As of recent he’s been able to slow down, but he tries his best to keep himself busy anyways. He stops by the other guys houses to collect fabric and to make sure they are okay.

BEST EXPERIENCE: Everything I’ve done with @underxworlder, regardless of muse. Our current thing with Runaan & Ethari (either just talking about them or having a thread) always hits me directly in the feels. And just... Gilen & Ryszard as a ship in general.

WRITING  PREFERENCES

FLUFF, ANGST OR SMUT: Fluff & angst are my go-tos. Especially with muses that really deserve and need fluff. Angst is great because it can bring out so much in a character. Smut is a no because I’m asexual and it just made me uncomfortable to write.

PLOTS OR MEMES: I prefer memes, but I do like coming up with an idea and plotting out a thread

LONG OR SHORT REPLIES: It honestly depends. I can do both, but the longer ones are less frequent. It really depends on my amount of muse/inspiration, if my environment is sensory-friendly, and/or if I can find a good song to go along with the reply. 

ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSE(S): Oof, yes, mostly with Gil, Garrett, and Rayla. I can relate heavily to all of them (Gil with him being autistic & anxiety and overall having a similar personality to me, Garrett with my own half-blindness and being a fellow cane-user, Rayla with being essentially different from those around me IRL and feeling the need to prove myself more than others). I’m pretty certain I’m gonna wind up making a Rayla blog now... Oops.

First Kiss Headcanons:

Your first kiss with Gilen would start out slow; he’s a timid guy and very unsure of himself. He wasn’t sure if he could even go through with his intention. You could hear the uneven breaths as your faces grew near, the heat of his cheeks radiating off of yours. He would stop, your noses barely touching - a reaffirmation. Did you truly want to do this? It was up to you to make the next move. Once your lips touched it was smooth sailing from then on out. His hair lightly brushed against your forehead, tickling the glistening skin. Gilen’s lips were not necessarily soft, but they were smooth. The kiss was short, but it held more than you could have ever imagined.

Kissing Matt for the first time was definitely not what you were expecting: he was not the kind of guy to expose himself like this. Much like Gilen, Matt was not the most out-there kind of guy. He would be nervous to let you see him in this light; of course, that wouldn't stop him from being the one to lean in first. On a whim, he found the confidence -- a bit too much. His mouth crashed onto yours with such vigor you were knocked backward a bit. Pulling back to apologize, he was cut off guard by a breath of a laugh that escaped you. You leaned in this time, in a far more subtle manner. It was soft; he felt self-conscious. No one had treated him so gently before. Matt was disappointed; you pulled away before he could process. It wasn't ideal, but that didn't make it any less memorable.

Viktor is a rather kept-to-himself kind of guy, so when he cut you off mid-sentence to kiss you, you couldn't dismiss the suddenness of the situation. He pulled away as soon as he began, immediately apologizing in a suspiciously rehearsed way. You heard him stutter out something of a poem, but were still too dazed to truly absorb his words. He noticed your lack of attention and became flustered, thinking he had made a mistake. As he himself became lost in thought, he failed to recognize familiar hands pulling at his collar. Viktor looked down the moment you set your lips atop his, for a much longer and admittedly preferred amount of time

It is no secret that Allen is not afraid to outwardly express love and affection. Your first kiss most likely happened in the beginning of your relationship. He, however, does take into consideration your comfortability with his affections. If he could tell that you were on edge or upset or distracted by something, he would wait. But the day you were finally happy -- a day after a long week of spiraling emotion -- he knew it was the perfect time. You radiated enthusiasm for something infinitesimal; he couldn't quite recall what it was exactly. As you whipped around  with flickering starlight in your eyes, you met the salty lips of your lover. He was experienced, no doubt, but mindful in a confident expression. He took his time, waiting for you to react. The kiss was not short, but there was no doubt that he did indeed make it worthwhile.

Luciano, as we know, has had his fair share of kisses. This does not mean that he isn't one to love. Luciano is a lover at heart; he can't be separated from you for a long period of time or he will grow paranoid and uneasy. Your kiss was properly timed and surprisingly nerve-wracking for him. He couldn't focus on the task at hand; you affected him in a way he has never felt before. His hand grazed the top of yours, eyes trailing over your frame. He treated you as if you were the last thing he was to ever see. As soon as your eyes met, he took it upon himself to make it the best moment you had ever experienced. He was skilled, you could tell, but he teased you. His breath caught yours, lips hovering between worlds. You weren't sure if he was going to pull through. A halfhearted smirk caught the corner of his mouth before he intertwined his string of fate and yours. These threads were spun from Venus' very fingertips herself; impossibly taut in the most delicate way.

"I'm glad you did, I think this place would be quite Boring without you." He mentioned as he followed her over the grass. He laid next to close enough to be there but not too close. Holding hands was one thing, something they did all the time when they were kids but this....this was different. "What do you want to do after the sun sets? I say we go grab some dinner and I take you to the fall festival..." He smiled coyly "or we could eat something there... whatever you like"

“I knew it would be,” Stella smirked slightly. She’d always trusted him, even after everything happened, so she knew she could tell him anything. “I think so too,” she said softly, looking only at him. “I was really upset about being forced to come here. Obviously I was wrong.” If she hadn’t come, then she wouldn’t have gotten to see Gilen again at all. Stepping down from the gazebo, she found the perfect spot to lay down in the grass, motioning for him to join her by patting the ground next to her. Her eyes focused on the sky above them. The sun had just started to go down, and she was determined to see the sunset for her first night at the palace. Waiting for him to get settled, she turned her head to the side facing him, searching his eyes for any idea of what he might be thinking.

Ohohoho~ My most memorable thread? Any Yandere Gilen thread. He’s fun to play, and most of the time, he reminds me of Sangwoo.

There were only a handful of people Gilen was fully comfortable around and that was the boys and His moms. Maybe some of his co-workers. So it was never a surprise when Gilen would leave to have lunch with his Best friend Jareth. "You have anything new for me to read today?" He questioned taking a bite of his sandwich. Gilen Loved Jareth's writing more than Hemlocks if he was being brutally honest but he would rather die than say that out loud.

He had collected so many Decks over the years. The one the Shop keeper back in Salem gifted him and the one his mothers gifted him were the only two he wanted to keep. He even gifted to pack to Nicky when she started as a way to "pass the torch'. but the deck that had been brought in was....interesting. "I guess I should cleanse it...just to be safe."

Gilen hid it well, but he was infact quite nervous. Perhaps something would happen and the other roses would recognize him, and he would have to explain why he was dancing with stella. But he wanted to stop worrying about all of that and just enjoy being with Stella while he could. " We can Handle it When we get to it, uts bound to get to her at some point tonight...whether she sees us heself or someone tells her" hd told her honestly, word woudl travel fast at the dance especially with the press swarming the outside of the palace. "Stella I woyld do anything for you, and that includes getting umin trouble" he smirked softly continuung to sway to the music. " Its been hell without you too stella" he closed his eyes as their foreheads connected "you can tell her whatever you think is right.." He whispered softly.

Stella looked down at their feet before stepping off to the music, impressed at how easily Gilen seemed to have caught on. He was being so sweet, it was impossible for her to not get wrapped up in him again. Being in his arms was an addicting habit she couldn’t have gotten rid of if she tried. “You want me to simply tell Julia all of that, and you’re not worried about her reaction?” She raised a brow, surprised at how open they were being. “She wanted to know who it was, but I didn’t tell her. I didn’t want you to get in any trouble over me.” She had never implied that Gilen liked her back anyway, but it was still a risk. “The past few months without you have been horrible. It was like it was hard to breathe,” she winced and rested her forehead against his. “What should I tell Julia?”

Hey mun, what was your inspiration for choosing to write Gilen? Do you have any routines that help you get in the mood to write him?

{Oh boy, here we go… Well, I got into 2P Hetalia in 2013 and 2P Prussia easily became my favorite from how much I could relate to him. We’re both initially introverted people and I ended up headcanon-ing him having autism and anxiety, which I also have. 

I finally made him a muse in 2014 and he’s developed so much since then. He has an actual backstory and reasons for why he behaves the way he does. I also love how he isn’t the stereotypical introvert and kind person; he has his moments of courage and has limits with his kindness/loyalty. He has flaws as well, he doesn’t let others get away with hurting him. He can hate others even though it does take him a lot to do so. he can be over-nostalgic. I love talking about his history as a nation and explaining how certain events have impacted him. Then there’s his growth as a person. He didn’t let his harsh past make him jaded; he remained a good person who will do anything for his loved ones. But he still holds grudges. In short, he’s a very developed muse and I love him for that.

In regards to routines, listening to music really helps me get into the mood to write Gil. Normally 70′s/80′s rock and 90′s grunge music since those are his favorite genres of music. Or any songs that fit whatever thread I’m replying to.}

{Tbh, I’d love to do more historical threads here. I remember having a thread set after the Berlin Wall with a friend with her 2P Nyo Germany and that one was great. But there are still more time periods I’d love to explore along with how they impacted Gilen as a person. Such as, WWl and WWll, Gilen’s childhood, Prussia at the peak of its power are the ones I can think of right now. I’ve made tags for the many stages of his life, so why not get the chance to use them?
